Part three of this series now, I've done the Cleven twins, and the Hamilton twins. Someone asked for the Egan twins so here is twenty thoughts on the Egan twins.
1. His name is Joseph James Egan, or Joey as his brother calls him, the 100th calls him Kangaroo because of Bucky calling him Joey.
2. Joey is the younger twin by five minutes, Bucky jokes that he was planned, Joey was not which always earns him a smack.
3. Joey is always wrangling Bucky, he drags his brother by the ear when he's not behaving.
4. Joey's a Bombardier because he didn't want to be a pilot like his brother, because he wanted to break the stereotype that twins do everything together.
5. He's married, has been married since the dinosaurs at least according to Bucky which earns a eyeroll from Joey.
6. Scary flexible, like he can put his own foot in his mouth.
7. Joey is also a dancer like this man can dance unlike his twin.
8. Joey can play the guitar and sing, he's actually part of the 100th band. Bucky jokes he's over compensating for something mostly because he's jealous, but he'd never admit it.
9. Joey is naturally blonde, and Buckys hair is natural though nobody believes them.
10. Joey does cartwheels with Curt and Crosby they make it a competition.
11. He also can fight, he can take down anyone half his size, he doesn't fight like a girl like Bucky. When Joey says that, Bucky flips him off.
12. Joey is the taller twin which Bucky hates.
13. Joey reads the paper every morning with a tea, Bucky calls him a little old man.
14. Joey doesn't smoke or drink.
15. He knew Bucky was in love with Buck before Bucky ever realized.
16. When Bucky and Buck had their girl fight in the prison camp, Joey grabbed them dragging Buck by his hair and Bucky by his ear, he put them in a qoute on qoute time out corner until they made up again.
17. When they were all in the train car thinking they were going to be taken to be killed, Joey sang Amazing Grace to calm nerves.
18. Best friends with Ken, he was the one who gave Ken his harmonica.
19. Joey works for the newspaper back home, he's a investigative reporter, so he has an eye for things.
20. Joey is fluent in German and French, so he listened a lot to the Krauts well they were in the prison camp. He was there little spy which made him feel like he was at home doing his job.
Add onto this if you! Write a fic! Do whatever have fun!

Get to Know Me
Tagged for this by @grey-gazania! Thank you! Rules: Answer the questions and tag 9 people you want to know more about.
Favorite color: Black if we're talking about clothes since I mostly wear black, but in general I also like various shades of blue and green.
Last song: Because the Night by Patti Smith
Last movie: Can't remember. Probably the Hunger Games prequel.
Currently reading: I started reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss recently since someone at work has been trying to talk me into reading it for a long time, but it's... not really my thing so far.
Currently watching: Random stuff on Youtube that interests me, I often listen to various things while working on my laptop or while drawing.
Currently craving: A prolonged break from work.
Coffee or tea: I don't like either. Hot chocolate I guess (though I prefer cold chocolate milk).
And I have the same problem as @grey-gazania in that Tumblr refuses to let me tag more than a handful of people, so I'll just tag the most recent people in my notes @theredkingandthesea @aotearoa20 @sauron-kraut @aniseandspearmint and anyone else who wants to do this - you can @ me and say I tagged you if you want to!

07-Ghost - Name Meaning Megalist
07-Ghost features many eccentric names, but as weird as some of them may seem at first glance, they’re mostly quite meaningful! This is a list I’ve been trying to compile for a while now, but I can’t say it’s quite complete. Please do let me know if you have any ideas or catch any mistakes! I think 07′s naming conventions are really interesting, so I hope you enjoy this list!
Teito
Wahrheit (GR): Truth -> Referencing Teito's main goal of "finding the truth behind the war".
Tiashe: ?
Raggs: ?
Teito (JP - 帝都): Imperial capital -> If you combine the “Tei” part of Teito’s name with the “Ou” part of Ouka’s, you get Teiou (帝王), which means “sovereign”! Cute little easter egg.
Klein (GR): Small -> Referencing his small stature.
Frau
Frau (GR): Woman -> Weird choice for a name for sure. Regardless, it does sound a bit like “Faust”. According to legend, Faust sells his soul to the devil to use his powers, which is similar to what Frau did with Verloren's scythe.
Sichel (GR): Scythe -> Yes, it’s not “Zehel”. Also, it’s written as 斬魂 in Japanese, which means “killing soul”, possibly referencing Sichel’s ability to cut people’s ties with misfortune.
Labrador
Ilyusha (RU - Ильюша): Elijah -> Diminutive form of the name Ilya (Илья). This one is pretty interesting. It’s most likely a direct reference to Dostoevsky's Brothers Karamazov, in which there is a sickly young child named Ilyusha. Labrador appears to be influenced by the protagonist of this novel, Alyosha. Believe me, I’m not making this up, there are so many similarities between this book and 07! Amemiya and Ichihara even directly reference the novel in Battle Rabbits. Also, Elijah is a prophet, like Lab.
Kraut (GR): Herb -> Referencing the Kraut house's association with herbs and other plants. Also means "cabbage". Unfortunately also a derogatory way to refer to Germans, but that’s most definitely not intentional.
Labrador (EN): A type of tea -> Yes, yes, dog. But this actually is a rather fitting name, seeing how labrador tea is often used to make medicine. Also, this name was likely chosen because when shortened as "Lab," it's "Rabu" in Japanese, which also means "love". But you probably noticed that already.
Profe / Prophe (EN): From “prophet” ->  Written as 預魂 in Japanese, meaning “soul of prophecies”.
Castor
Xínglù (CN - 行路): To travel -> Referencing his desire to travel with Lazette.
Hausen (GR): To dwell (negative connotation) -> He wasn’t very happy living in the Hausen House, was he? And yes, “Hausen House” is hilarious.
Castor (LA): Beaver -> From Castor and Pollux in Greek mythology, in which one twin dies and the other shares his life energy with him to keep him alive, referencing what Castor does with Lazette.
Fest (GR): Firm -> Referencing the firmness of the bonds they create. Written as 繋魂 in Japanese, meaning “connecting soul”.
I don’t want this post to cover even more of your dashboard, so you can find the rest of the names under the cut!
Mikage
Mikage (JP - 御影[石]): Granite, spirit of the dead, honorable shadow -> The dead meaning is a bit on the nose, isn’t it? His name is actually short for Mikageishi, which means granite-- all Celestine family members have rocks and minerals as their names! The shadow part of his name reflects how he is always by Teito's side despite being dead, and the darkness of a shadow contrasts the whiteness of Hakuren's name.
Celestine (FR): Heavenly -> With names like these, poor Mikage was destined to die early... This is also the name of a mineral, thus matching the first names of family members. Kohaku (珀) means amber, Rinka[iseki] (燐灰[石]) means apatite, Kokuyou[seki] (黒曜[石]) means obsidian, and Kairen[seki] (灰簾[石]) means zoisite.
Hakuren
Hakuren (JP - 白蓮): White magnolia -> Another name for this plant is Gyokuran! Name twins! Ouka and her helpers are all named after flowers, and Hakuren and Gyokuran are no exception. Also, as mentioned above, the “white” meaning of Hakuren's name contrasts the “shadow” meaning of Mikage's name.
Oak (EN): Name of a tree -> Oak trees are traditionally seen as sacred in Europe and in some stories about Christianity, reflecting the prestigious nature of the family.
Ouka
Roseamanelle: ?
Ouka (JP - 桜花): Cherry blossom -> Named after a flower like her helpers (Kikune [菊根] means “root of chrysanthemum” and Ooruri[sou] [大瑠璃[草]] means “cynoglossum”). “Ouka” was also the name of a warship used in WW2, which is a trend amongst characters related to the Barsburg military. And let’s reiterate the Teiou thing, shall we?
Barsburg: ?
Capella
Capella (LA): Small goat -> Capella is the name of the brightest star in the Auriga consellation. Another name for Auriga is "Almaaz," which is also the name of the mansion Capella now lives in with his mom. "A capella" is a type of "church-style" music, referencing Capella journeying with two bishops.
Lance
Rance (EN): A type of marble -> This one truly breaks my heart. Yes, his name is almost definitely not Lance. “Lance” is written in katakana as ランス, but his name is written as ランセ. His name is referencing his backstory... because he turns into marble. Get it? I’m so sorry you guys.
Relikt (GR): Relic -> Written in Japanese as 遺魂, which means “soul of relics”.
Ayanami
Crowell (EN): A stream of crows -> Sadly not “Krowell”.
Ayanami (JP - 綾波): Twilled wave -> Fitting the trend of Barsburg military personnel being named after warships used in WW2.
Verloren (GR): Lost
Hyuuga
Hyuuga (JP - 日向): Sunny spot -> Fits his personality rather well, but it’s also yet another WW2 battleship name. Also, Hyuuganatsu is an alternate name for the fruit Konatsu.
Konatsu
Konatsu (JP - 小夏): Small summer -> Konatsu is the name of a sweet citric fruit, despite all other citric fruits native to Japan being bitter and almost inedible. This is referencing Konatsu being the only human in his family and the Black Hawks, who are all Warsfeils. As mentioned above, an alternate name for this fruit is Hyuuganatsu. Also, the summer meaning of "natsu" matches the spring meaning of "Haru[se]"
Warren: ?
Kuroyuri
Kuroyuri (JP - 黒百合): Kamchatka fritillary -> A flower associated with being cursed, but also with love! This references how Kuroyuri is a good child at heart but feared by people for being a Warsfeil. The "Kuro" part of their name is usually masculine while the "Yuri" part is feminine, giving the name an overall genderless feeling, reflecting Kuroyuri's refusal to reveal or talk about their gender.
Haruse
Haruse (JP - 春?): Spring+? -> Every name in the series is written in katakana, so we don't know what the kanji characters in his name are. My bet is on 春瀬, but who knows. Regardless, the spring meaning of "Haru" matches the summer meaning of "[Ko]natsu".
Katsuragi
Katsuragi (JP - 葛城): Arrowroot castle -> Yet another name fitting the WW2 battleship trend.
Landkarte (GR): Map -> Referencing their ability to teleport. Written as 消魂 in Japanese, meaning “disappearing soul”.
Karu
Karu: ?
Er (GR): Awakening -> Short for “erwachen”. This was a headache and a half, and it’s still nothing but a guess, but what got me to this conclusion is that in Japanese, their name is written as 醒魂, which means “awakening soul”. I’m not sure what awakening has to do with the book of hell, though. So yes, guess it’s not Ea after all?
Shuri
Shuri (JP - 首里): Name of a famous castle -> I have no idea why some people think his name is written as “Shuuri”...
Yukikaze
Yukikaze (JP - 雪風): Blizzard, snowy wind -> Also fits the WW2 battleship trend. Snow is used as a reference to Yukikaze throughout the story.
Suzu & Yuki
Suzunami (JP - 鈴波): Bell wave -> Let me start by saying that the name “Suzunami” is not used in the canon manga-- it’s only in Begleiter, the second pilot chapter. His canon name is Suzu, which just means “bell”. Suzunami, however, is the name of a battleship used in WW2.
Yukinami (JP - 雪波): Snowy wave -> Like “Suzunami”, “Yukinami” isn’t a canon name either. His canon name is Yuki, meaning “snow”. Yukinami is a mixture of Yukikaze and Ayanami's names, since the chapter Begleiter explored Yukinami's relationship with Ayanami as his first assistant after losing Yukikaze.
Eve
Eve (EN): Life -> The easiest name of all! It’s referencing Eve from the Bible! Wow!
Kreuz
Ver (GR): A prefix indicating an action has had negative consequences or has since come to an end -> This is my best guess...
Kreuz (GR): Cross -> He was born to be a bishop.
Vertrag (GR): Contract -> Referencing their ability to make contracts with people to manipulate their souls. Written in Japanese as 契魂, “soul of contracts”.
Chrom
Veldeschtein / Weldeschtein -> Possibly a reference to Willem van de Velde the Elder & the Younger, who both painted warships. Chrom often painted in his free time.
Chrom (GR): Chrome -> Yes, it’s not Krom. I know we all like the way Krom-Kreuz-Krowell look similar, but they’re sadly not accurate...
Michael
Michael (EN): Name of an archangel -> Michael is the archangel depicted as the great protector of all that is good. Referencing Teito's duty as the pilgrim of Seele. Also, it’s apparently not “the Eye of Michael”, but “the Eyes of Michael”. At least that’s how Amemiya and Ichihara wrote in on their website seven years ago, if memory serves right.
Raphael
Raphael (EN): Name of an archangel -> Raphael is the archangel depicted as the divine healer. Referencing Ouka's healing zaiphon and wish to become a doctor.
Lazette
Lazette / Razette / write it however you want, honestly (Raggs): Songstress -> A 100% made up name! Its meaning and origin were revealed in the Hausen Family drama CD.

The latest pickling experiment underway: dilly beans made with thawed-out commercial frozen green beans!
It seemed worth a try. You need to blanch fresh green beans for a few minutes anyway, to neutralize weird bean chemicals. Those are already blanched, and they stay crispy enough that it might work.
I haven't tried any from fresh green beans in years, and...that never turned out well before. Every batch I have made before molded on the top. Probably because the blanching does essentially pasteurize them, wiping out the natural lactobacteria hitching a ride on basically any kind of produce.
One way to get around this, I guess: mix things up!
I have certainly known people to pickle corn and beans separately, but never together like that. Guessing that probably is an extremely old combination, for some people. Throw in some squash, and you'd have some Three Sisters mixed pickles.
My Nana regularly did make dilly beans alongside the crocks of kraut and brine dill cucumbers. Guess she really liked that flavor profile too. No idea how she kept the beans from molding.
My original workaround thought was to try laying maybe a cabbage leaf in on top, as good as it is at fermenting itself. They're also great to help keep anything else from floating up to mold.
But, I decided to go one up this time, and fish a donor starter piece of leaf out of the last still-working batch! I had enough already out, so that jar got a couple of layers anyway. Plenty to go around.
Tumblr media
I had expected the radish skins to leach a bunch of color, but not enough to turn the brine so pink!
Tumblr media
That hopping active cabbage did almost immediately cloud up the top of the new brine. Taking that as a promising sign
Otherwise, that's got fairly standard dill pickle type seasonings. I did throw in another of those little frozen homegrown chiles, a big clove of garlic halved, and a pretty big sprig of fresh dill tucked down in the middle. Since I'm using dill from the store and don't have any seed heads, I also threw some dill seeds in the bottom with the peppercorns, mustard seeds, allspice, bay leaf, and a few of those nice Assam tea leaves for extra tannins to help keep things crispy.
Tumblr media
Now in what I suppose is turning into the Pickle Drawer. I guess we'll see how this turns out. With any luck, it (a) won't go moldy, and (b) won't turn too strange a texture. I'll be counting this as a success if it does manage to meet those criteria. But, we'll see.

•The Grand Ole Folks of Yesterday•
Our great-grand folks were humble and poor,
In a little log cabin with cracks in the floor.
Carried their water up the hill from a spring,
In an old wooden bucket with a cup of tin.
Gathered in kindling from a brush patch,
Handmade lights and saved their scarce match.
Behind every stove was a strong wooden box
Filled with dry wood, carried and chopped.
Close to the fireplace, warmed their shins,
Goose-pimpled back when the draft blew in.
Read Bibles and few books on cold winter nights
By a dim little blaze of a dim little light.
Hunted for sport, a mess of wild meat.
Tanned the hides of a carcass to eat.
Knew every varmint by the print of his paw,
Tracked them down during the snow and spring thaw.
Children walked to school more than a mile,
Through drifted snow the wind had piled,
Struggled hard to get there and back,
With heavy feet wrapped in old feed sacks.
Loose straw beds that they stirred each night,
With homemade comforts tucked in tight.
Feather beds in each home plumped and plied
Covers so heavy the body grew tired.
Up bright and early to get the stove hot,
Cooked soup beans in an old iron pot.
Corn boiled in water with wood-made lye,
Made their hominy we now cheaply buy.
Their coffee strong, bitter and black
Roasted in ovens, then hand milled and cracked.
Boiled clothes in a kettle with lye soap,
No detergents, no bleach, no powdered soap.
Caught the rain in a big tub,
On a wash board they rubbed.
Used the wash water to scrub the board floors,
Then with a straw broom, swept it out the door.
The old family cows made milk for the churn.
For this tiresome chore each child took his turn.
Sliced peaches and apples, spread up high,
On a roof in the sun to wither and dry.
Cabbage and turnips buried in a hole
Safe from freeze of the weather cold.
Gathered their dry beans in coffee sacks
Beat with a stick until the hulls cracked.
Cleaned by the wind from pan to pan
And carefully sorted each mess by hand.
Children’s toys were all handmade,
Crooked limbs made runs for the sled,
Baby had spools threaded on a string,
A pie pan and stick to make it ring,
They could bend small trees for a pony ride,
Behind a clay ditch play hoop-in-hide.
Wade down the creek in summertime,
Old fashioned fun didn’t cost a dime.
Fuel was made with strong muscles and ax,
And tobacco was free from all state tax.
Raised all they ate, nothing refined,
Our great granddads had a hard time.
Old-time folks would borrow and lend,
A shovel of fire, anything to a settin’ hen,
Thinned their blood with sassafras tea,
Used skunk oil when the colds and sneeze.
Broke leafy twigs to shoo out the flies
That crawled on the baby and made it cry.
Sad irons were heated on smoky cookstoves,
Rubbed clean on paper before ironing the clothes.
Baked their own bread, raised food and sewed
Each had his duties, each carried his load.
Butchered their hogs and rendered their lard,
Raised ducks and chickens in their backyard.
Dried green beans on long strings of twine,
Made kraut in a barrel, corn soaked in brine.
Raised sorghum cane, stripped off the leaves,
Precious juice from the stalk was squeezed.
The sorghums cooked in a large pan,
For fritters, flapjacks, candy and jam.
We owe a great debt we can never repay,
To the Grand Ole Folks of yesterday.

HOW TO REDUCE BLOATING
Bloating can be uncomfortable and distressing, but there are effective techniques to reduce it. In this article, we'll discuss lifestyle habits that can help you feel more comfortable and improve your overall digestive health. By incorporating these practices into your routine, you can say goodbye to bloating and hello to feeling your best.
1. IDENTIFY AND AVOID TRIGGER FOODS:
Track your meals in a food journal to identify gas-producing foods that cause bloating. Common culprits include beans, lentils, broccoli, cabbage, onions, and carbonated beverages.
2. EAT MINDFULLY AND CHEW THOROUGHLY:
Attentive eating can help minimize bloating. Chew food thoroughly and take your time to avoid swallowing too much air. Eating too fast can lead to discomfort and bloating. Enjoy your meal and be present at the moment to encourage healthy digestion.
3. MAINTAIN ADEQUATE HYDRATION:
Adequate hydration is crucial for healthy digestion and reducing bloating. Drinking enough water throughout the day and consuming digestive herbal teas like peppermint or ginger tea can help.
4. INCREASE FIBER INTAKE GRADUALLY:
Gradually introducing high-fiber foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes into your diet can help sustain regular bowel movements and reduce bloating.
5. PROBIOTICS FOR GUT HEALTH:
Probiotics improve gut health and reduce bloating. Fermented foods such as yogurt, kefir, kraut, kimchi, or probiotic pills are viable options.
6. MANAGE STRESS LEVELS:
Manage stress to reduce bloating by incorporating stress-reduction techniques like yoga or meditation into your daily routine. Prioritize self-care and develop effective stress management strategies to support healthy digestion.
7. REGULAR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
Regular physical activity can promote digestion and relieve bloating. Try moderate-intensity workouts like walking, cycling, or swimming to aid bowel regularity. Avoid vigorous exercise right after eating to prevent hampering digestion and feeling bloated.
8. SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE:
Seek medical advice if severe or persistent bloating disrupts daily activities. Your healthcare provider can offer specialized advice or identify underlying medical conditions.
Reduce bloating and improve digestive health by practicing mindful eating, avoiding trigger foods, staying hydrated, gradually increasing fiber intake, incorporating probiotics, managing stress, participating in regular physical activity, and seeking medical advice when necessary.

I made a Minestrone soup, a few days ago... which I really liked. I made dinner for my mother and I. Recipe: One yellow onion, chopped small. A very big handful of baby carrots, sliced bite-sized. Three stalks of celery, sliced bite-sized. One large Portabella cap, diced A small bunch of Oyster mushrooms, diced I fried the onion first, for ten minutes or so, in a generous drizzle of Olive oil. Then added the carrots and celery, and cooked for another ten or so minutes. Then added the mushrooms. I diced three or four cloves of garlic. I added those, too. I cooked for a few minutes, which felt like too long. It turned out fine. I don't like to overcook garlic in this stage. I also plucked five or six sprigs of Thyme from my garden, plus one small sprig of Oregano. I stripped the leaves from the stems, and I added those. Plus, a generous dash of dried Basil. Then I added a big splash of Cabernet Sauvignon, which was super goooood. I let that cook off for several minutes, stirring to loosen everything from the pan. Then I added a Tablespoon or so of Tomato paste. I mixed that around, to get it incorporated with everything else before I added water. I opened a can of Kidney beans, drained, and rinsed them off. I added them to the pan. Then I added enough water to cover the vegetables. Probably about Four cups. I realized I wanted more Tomato in my soup, so I diced up three very ripe tomatoes I had sitting on my counter, and threw them in.. I think I also added some black pepper, and a small Bay leaf. I brought it up to a simmer, and I cooked it until the beans became tender. About fourty minutes, I would guess. I added some salt. Then I added about a half cup of pasta shells, and cooked for twelve minutes, according to the package. It's the first time I made this soup at home. I just went with whimsy. It is delicious! I'm writing this down for my own reference... so I can read how I did it. I served a salad on the side. I used this stuff, which was all just stuff I had on hand, randomly:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love beets. I used at least a half-package of the greens, and a little beet kraut.
My father had brought me a sack of Hazelnuts, this past winter... so I roasted those. I cracked open a few and chopped them up for the salad. I chopped up a dried medjool date. I had some very ripe peaches. So I chopped one up, and added it to the salad. Then, I also chopped up a kalamata olive.... I used one of those potato-peelers to peel one baby carrot into fine ribbons, into the salad. Then I drizzled a little bit of red wine vinegar, olive oil, a tiny squeeze of lemon juice.... aaaand salt and pepper on top. I really like how it turned out. The fun process of cooking: "How can I make the food in my cabinets into a delicious meal?"
The salad greens that I had bought were very bitter, so I was experimenting with things which would add very nice balancing flavors. Sweet, sour, savory. Tasting it as I went along. It's fun.
I roasted two sweet potatoes, one for each of us. Then my mom brought some awesome crunchy whole-grain bread to go with it. We had tea. We watched the movie The Seventh Seal. It's a movie I saw when I was seventeen years old.

LA Farmhome, 3389 Eagle Rock Blvd, Los Angeles (Glassell Park), CA 90065
Tumblr media
LA Farmhome is one of the specialty bodega style grocers similar to Cookbook Market, Altadena Beverage, and Windrose Provisions. I visited during a weekday and my eyes were drawn to their lovely fresh flowers and fresh produce.
Pantry items include spices, sauces, condiments, teas, coffee beans, pasta, olive oil, beans, pasta, jams, canned fish, etc. In the refrigerator, they had kraut, Anson Mills grains, Meiji Tofu, kim chi, cheese, Pizza Baby salads, salsa, yogurt, drinks, milk, farm fresh eggs, etc. They had fresh focaccia and prepared foods from Ceci’s in Silver Lake, ice cream from Mother Moo’s in Sierra Madre, coconut based ice cream from Awan, Meadows frozen pierogi, etc. I don’t think they carry wine or spirits.
They also have a home section with vintage ceramics and tableware, linens, and cookbooks. Parking has become tough to find in this area (the Bub & Grandma’s effect?)

Hetalia: The World Twinkle Episode #7: African War Front! Part 2 Transcript
This episode has the second part of the African Campaign.
Narrator: Previously on Hetalia, Italy went to Africa because who knows and you don’t really care.
Britain [through megaphone]: We have proven to Germany and Italy that on this, the African war front, British Empire intelligence cannot be bested. GO SUCK IT, KRAUT!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Britain: Ahahahahaha!
{Text on metal cylinder: Egg}
Britain: Those tossers were like babies before my brilliant boiled egg manufacturing machine!
{Caption: Cute little one}
Voice: Adorable!
British soldier #1: Yeah, boiled eggs are well good.
Britain: Having tea peacefully like this after a victory makes me feel just, let’s see, how should I put it? Simply, terrifically, gentlemanly.
America: Yo, Britaaain!
Britain: Huah?
(British soldier #2: Huohay!)
America: Sorry to keep you waitin’, dude, but you don’t gotta worry no more ‘cause the hero, which is me, is here! America!
{Caption: American}
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Britain: Hetalia.
{Text on soda cup: Super Mega Jumbo}
America: What’s the deal, bro? Not like you to have a hard time dealing with those creeps. You got old, huh?
Britain: I’M NOT OLD! And you wouldn’t dare say that if you’d seen me fight!
America: Yeah, whatever, dude; the point is, I’m here now, so you can chill out. Meet the elite, bra! My troops!
{Caption: Clamor, clamor…}
American soldier #1: Oh cool! Awesome!
American soldier #2: African selfie!
American soldier #3: OMG, I’m in Africa!
{Caption: Snap}
Britain: Great, I’ve never been more worried!
America: Well, why?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Caption #1: Right after the American military joined the African war front, they exhibited a different sort of freedom than they do today. Their clothes as well as their hierarchical relationships were casual, and they were a bit disorganized}
{Caption #2: And, that’s the country that becomes impossibly strong later on…}
{America’s caption: Oh yeah, that’s right}
{America’s boss’ caption: Oh, I see}
{Britain’s caption: He’s even casual to his boss}
Italy: Yahoo!
America: Are you serious? You can’t go with that lame ass operation!
Britain: Oh yes I can! Some of us like to be careful and make informed decisions instead of charging in all willy-nilly like an impetuous toddler!
America: You need to work on your indecisiveness, dude!
(Britain: Ohah!)
Britain: Yeah, well, you need to work on shut up! There’s no shame in…
American soldier: This dude is Mr. Britain?
(Britain: …competence, so I will not accept your reality!)
American soldier: I know you guys are brothers, but you don’t really look that much alike.
(Britain: Raaaaahhh!)
(America: Raaaaahhh!)
Britain, America: Ahuh?
{Caption: Flustered}
{Text on soda cup: Super Mega Jumbo}
Britain: Well, of course we don’t; I mean, we are brothers, but, you know, not like, oh, how shall I put it? Uh, this is awkward when you just say it out loud. What were you saying? Who, me, a big brother? Flattery will get you nowhere. Or everywhere.
America: If we keep looking at each other, maybe he’ll go away.
(Britain: Hmmmmm)
American soldier: Uh…
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
America: Dudes, I’m a hero!
{Caption: Military Band}
America: I’ll go say hello to all the locals and subtly let them know that I’ve arrived.
Britain: What?! You did not seriously bring your military band with you?!
America: Duh, bra; can’t be flashy without music, and the African people have kinda been waitin’ for me.
Britain: I do not understand! Why did you even come here?
America: Uh, because a real hero was needed.
{Caption: He’s not listening}
America: Yo!
African man: I hate the British. Please go away forever.
Britain: Ahahaha! You are quite pathetic! Oh, come on; what’s the matter, big fella?
{Caption: He thought he was going to be welcomed, but instead, he got rejected big time}
Britain: Well, now what am I going to do with you? Listen, don’t let it get you down; this is just how Africa is, and you’re not used to it yet. I’m not wanted here very much either, trust me. There’s no reason to feel gutted.
{Caption: Marshmallow}
America: Uh…thanks, but I’m good; I was just roasting a marshmallow.
Britain: DAMMIT! NO MORE COMFORTING FOR YOU!
{Caption #1: Common practice in America}
{Caption #2: Roast}
{Caption #3: Put it between crackers}
America: America!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
America: Dude, seems like the weather in Africa is just always hot. Nom! We gotta have something else besides this marmite poo food, don’t we?
Britain: It’s nutritious, so eat it; eat all of it!
America: I bet I can beat ya to that hill over there because you suck at life!
Britain: Your stupid challenge is accepted! Start now!
America: Let’s go! YAHOO!
Britain: I refuse to lose!
America: Ah!
(Lizard: Owah!)
Britain: No, that’s poisonous; don’t touch!
America: They may be ferocious, but I’ll be a-okay, buddy boy! ‘Cause I’m the hero! AHAAAAAAAHHHHH!
(Britain: AAH! IT’S A SNAKE!)
America: No worries, even heroes can get into a little trouble every now and again!
{Caption: Ahhhhhh!}
Britain: GHAAAAAAHHHHH! Aahuh! Huah! Huah! Ohahuah! Oh, thank the gods! It was just a silly nightmare, hehe.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Britain: This gentlemanly atmosphere is definitely more appropriate for me. After all, it’s hardly reasonable for someone my age to play nanny.
America: Yo, Britaaain!
Britain: Huah?
(British soldier #2: Huohay!)
Britain: Eeugh…
