author's note: Okayyyyy- I literally wrote this January 2, 2022, but all this talk about @multifandomslxt pulling Yuta made it resurface soooo, here's a little something while you all wait on what is to cooome~ 😘

On one of your recent outings with your girlfriends, you bought a new lingerie set. And feeling a little bratty, you decided to take a few teasing photos and send them to your man- even when he made it painstakingly clear that he'd be at one of his most important schedules to start the year. Jimmy Kimmel.

Having a specific vibration pattern for your messages, he checks his phone, regretfully seeing the lewd-thought provoking pictures just before their show goes live. He tries to play it off as he sits through the entire broadcast, attempting to discreetly adjust his pants, but his efforts are proven futile when he continuously spaces out so much that Jimmy has to directly address him, “Yuta's been awfully quiet over there– I see that enigmatic smile, what’s that about?”

All he does is shake his head, slightly flustered, and chuckles, saying, “you just, caught me between a rock and a hard place.” He gestures down to the not so hidden tent in his pants, licking his lips to hide a smile as he looks up pausing when he makes eye contact with you. In the crowd. His eyes lighting up and heating with desire.

Taeyong looks at Yuta throughout the interview, noticing he keeps looking at the crowd with an expression he easily recognizes, and searches for you in the mix of people before letting out a high pitched laugh. Abruptly stopping himself when everyone looks at him, he gives them a cute, “sorry sorry,” which seems to be enough for them laugh it off as the interview continues.

You giggle to yourself as Haechan and a few others also notice you and give Yuta knowing glances. Finally when the interview ends, Yuta makes eye contact with you- giving you a look you've received from him many a time before, and security slyly guides you to the back where you meet up with the members, greeting them with an innocent, “surpriiiiise.”

The rest of your time in their dressing room is split turning to give them privacy to change into regular clothes and simply talking and joking around. But then comes a moment where Yuta laughs at something Mark says, calling him cute and biting his lip to conceal his smile. He began taking off his tie- which of course has you looking at him with a carnal desire. Eyes tracing is face, down the length of his body.

When he notices how you're looking at him, he smirks with his eyes alight and wordlessly stalks toward you. Frankly not even caring that the members' conversations have decrescendoed to complete silence and all eyes are now watching the both of you. His hands continue unbuttoning his shirt as you maintain eye contact with each step he takes toward you.

You're chest to chest at last when he says lowly, yet loud enough that everyone can hear in the now quiet room, “did you like me suffering a painfully hard cock, on national television, while you sat there all pretty, knowing I would completely ravage you afterwards?” You nod without saying a word, now starting to softly pant as he grabs your chin.

His thumb lightly traces across your bottom lip, before dragging it down, his head dipping forward so his mouth is only centimeters from your own. “Your ass looks so pretty in the pictures you sent me–” he moves his hand to lightly pat your cheek before caressing it, “but it would be prettier all warm and deep red, marked with my handprints wouldn’t it?”

He reaches behind you, clutching your ass in a tight grip that parts your lower lips. Your eyes have already become heavy and flutter as your breath comes out in shallow exhales, “look at you panting like a needy bitch.” That only causes you to whimper and lean into him, wanting more of his touch. “Um–“ Haechan clears his throat, his voice sounding slightly heavy with arousal “w-we should get back to the dorms..”

You finally snap out of your trance and peek around Yuta to see all of the members staring at you, some openly aroused- Doyoung staring with heat and envy- others avoiding eye contact as if trying to control their thoughts “o-oh” you stutter with a rush of heat coming to your cheeks “yeah um– we can leave now.” It isn't until you're walking ahead of the rest that Yuta slaps your ass, and you then realize just how weak in the knees this man has you.

anywayyyyy, v v short, yes, but it was really just a for fun thing I wrote to my friend back in my ult Yuta days (yes, they STRONGLY existed) but yeeeah. lmk if you guys actually want me to start writing for more 127 members 💋

I had no idea when I started this account that I would turn into such a Byron stan -- no regrets, to be clear! I'm just so surprised.

So naturally I'm thinking about how he would feel after Phoenix Gate happened. Specifically about his feelings regarding Anabella and having to claim he would be loyal to her, even though his heart remains with Rosaria and he considers her to be the most vile person alive. And I was wondering like, what's the difference between swearing fealty or loyalty? (This question came up while writing a reply to a thread and I went down a rabbit hole). And when I looked it up I found this quote that just *clenches fist so tight it breaks* sums up Byron's feelings so much:

“Loyalty is the most perfect form of mutual respect. It is a bond that goes two ways, and that is why it endures. Fealty, on the other hand, must be endured. It is based on power, and ends the moment the one who commands it no longer has a grip on the one who is shackled by it.” - Karen Tumulty

Loyalty is what he felt for Elwin, his brother who he had the utmost trust in and love for. It went two ways not only because Byron was his brother but because Elwin had great respect and care for the people he ruled. His loyalty was to them as well, which is why he agonized so much over how to best serve them and care for the most vulnerable people in Rosaria. He was dedicated to liberating Bearers and changing society's views of their humanity and worth for the better. His unconditional positive regard for everyone in Rosaria made Byron love and respect Elwin all the more. The two-way loyalty endures and only grows stronger with time.

Anabella, by contrast -- she must be endured. She is a painful reminder of the absolute heartbreak and destruction she wrought. She's a looming threat of what will happen if you speak out against her, and she had no problem getting rid of others who remained loyal to Rosaria -- and they weren't even Elwin's brother. It's so interesting that she let him live. His talk with Clive and Jill when they reunite makes it seem as though Anabella wasn't always so terrible; maybe she was judgmental and haughty, but they weren't traits that made her seem like a risk for committing treason. Maybe they even got along well enough at one point? Polite acquaintances? But he says with certainty that she's taken a sharp turn in the wrong direction, as if she was being influenced by something or someone else.

So with Anabella demanding that the remaining inhabitants of the former duchy (and surrounding areas) must swear an oath to her, Byron feels he has no choice. If he were to refuse, the best case scenario would be to lose absolutely everything he has. The worst, of course, would be death. Byron feels great shame over this and in that same scene tells Clive that he wishes he had been as courageous as Elwin always was. But he made a methodical, painful decision that wound up being exactly how he could be brave and help the resistance overthrow Anabella (and Ultima at the helm of it all). He needed to retain his influence, property, and wealth to support the Hideaway and the Cursebreakers. And when push (literally) came to shove, he was more than willing to put his own safety on the line (and he looked so good swinging that axe around wow !! look at that guy).

So, where was I going with this whole thing ?? I nearly lost my train of thought but ok to wrap this up -- if Byron had seen the difference between swearing loyalty and fealty, I think he would have felt worlds better about having to feign support for Anabella. It didn't make him a bad person or a shameful Rosarian. It was a means to an end, a way for him to bide his time while he threw his support behind the people who would liberate Rosaria.
