LAS SIETE CABRILLAS, EL PÁJARO SIETE COLORES Y LOS SIETE PECADOS CAPITALES

El viento llega otra vez y se pone como un peón en su cabestro de anchulina que apuramos cuando tomábamos agua sin dolor.

El viento llega, me trae sonidos del mar, batallones de cangrejos, fulgores de algas y los espejismos de las altas soledades nocturnas.

Solapado yo lo veo junto a sus aves azules, cuando envuelve como un miche de madrugada y hace que se esfumen los alcanfores en cruz.

Es el viento que trae sus maletas, es él, mira su boladura, mira cómo voltea mi camioneta Austin 1958.

Su horizonte tiene que ver con el cielo, con las Siete Cabrillas, con el Pájaro Siete Colores, con el Arcoiris también, y con los Siete Pecados Capitales.

El viento, si lo pasamos, muere Krist. Si lo dejamos en su círculo es que nació ogor. Es que ya vino, ojalá que haya traído sus treinta y siete cocuyos.

Oh well.. Whatever.. Nevermind.. 🙌 30 years ago, September 24th 1991 - a little album by a little trio from Aberdeen, Washington hit the shops. The band was Nirvana. The album was Nevermind. It has gone on to sell more than 30 million copies worldwide, and its legacy is manifold and dizzying. In defining and then transcending the genre of grunge, it altered the cultural landscape for ever. ⚡️ On October 28, 1991, just as Nirvana were tearing up the rock'n'roll rule book with their major label debut Nevermind, Austin resident and one of the industries leading underwater photographers, Kirk Weddle, was commissioned to shoot the band for photos to promote the impending blitz. His idea? Toss the band into a swimming pool to mimic the album's infamous naked baby cover image he’d shot a few months earlier. But when the band showed up for the session at a Los Angeles pool in North Hollywood, they were hardly in the mood. It was first time Kirk met the band members, and they were exhausted from a string of West Coast gigs. The weather was unseasonably cold for an outdoor swim, so cold that Kirk wore a wetsuit. He recalls, "The guys were like, 'Wow, we've got to swim in this?'" Winifred put her passion for baking and designing together and founded Winifred Krist' Cake in 2010 lalamira evening dresses. Though I am never artistically inclined, I decided to design the ring myself and had it customised. The ring setting has intertwining vines, representing how our two lives had come together as one. To make it exclusively ours, I added our initials, a 'J' and an 'A', to the ring. For Magdalene, Ted created a mermaid gown design with a sexy 'V' both in the front and the back, with a detachable full, circular-cut skirt. 'It is made up of layers of soft tulle and organza, and is very flowy, flouncy, and definitely, very danceable!' Ted says. 'I look forward to seeing Magdalene in action during the shoot la la mira. Also, I have a little surprise planned for her?Can add-on to the dress which will give an ethnic Mongolian touch to her wedding dress!'

Joe Biden Speaking at SXSW 2017

SXSW has unveiled their latest high-profile speaker: former vice president Joe Biden. Biden will be delivering a talk on the progress made with the White House Cancer Moonshot under his leadership during the Obama administration, as well as other solutions to fight cancer in the future. (Biden’s son Beau suffered from brain cancer in the final years of his life and died in 2015.) He will also unveil plans for a Biden cancer initiative, “calling on attendees at SXSW to join him in taking on the disease,” according to a press release. Biden will speak at the Austin Convention Center on March 12 at 3:30; the talk is open to all registered SXSW attendees. Other speakers at the festival include FBI Director James Comey, Kyle MacLachlan (aka Special Agent Dale Cooper of “Twin Peaks”), Krist Novoslevic, Kesha, Bob Odenkirk, and more.
