returning to my roots.

i've severely missed rp-ing on tumblr and it's where i started my journey with krp. i love writing as a pastime and i miss the in depth threads and interactions with long time rp partners and the freedom of expression that comes with writing on tumblr. i've been on twitter for the past 8 years or so but now i am returning back to what i know best.

i would love to plot with people and write on here as it truly is no holds barred but i am also (slightly) open to rp servers on discord as well. i welcome any and all plots and encourage you to like this post if you are interested in writing with me.

Dear wanderers and readers,

The admins of Astral Dynasty KRP have decided that it is time for a revamp! A few things within our world, rp and rules will change in hope to create a place that is enjoyable and interesting for everyone and also for you to consider being part of the new era that is coming!

The entire revamp will within our walls happen in the form of an event! Of course you'll receive updates both here, as well as on our AFF to keep you tuned of what is happening and what will wait for you in the future.

Until than, our applications will be closed! We do take up on reservations however for your desired Faceclaims via our ask or AFF.

No race or background is required for the reservation! The only requirement that will have to be met is that your FC has to be 21+ years old!

We hope to soon be able to introduce into our new world and era, to find a place to stay with us and have fun. Bring friends and make new ones, build connections and have a great time with us!

However what we can spill so far as little spoiler is that a darker era of our Roleplay will be coming. New races, new establishments and dangerous tingles!

Welcome!

I thought I'd make an introduction since it's the first time that I post in a while in this account.

My name is Casper, but you can also call me Cas in short! I don't mind the pronouns you refer to me as, even tho I'm used to go by he/him. I'm a 21 y.o who is now reviving their roleplay acc and who's as well trying to search for a roleplay partner.

Roleplaying has always been one of my favourite hobbies, but due to personal reasons I barely dispose of time to dedicate myself to it, nonetheless I'd like to try once again with someone who may be on my same situation ^-^

Some important things that you should keep in mind before interacting with me are:

If you are homophobic, racist, sexist or overall don't respect others, I won't roleplay with you, nor hold a conversation. I won't lose my time with someone who can't respect others.

I'll only and exclusively roleplay with someone who is above 20+ since I am above that age too.

I am NOT going to roleplay: abuse of any kind, bullying, toxic relationships, hardcore topics or those that include a lot of blood and deaths.

Some simple rules:

Be respectful when you speak with me.

If I deny a roleplay or idea, please understand and don't push me.

If you get too busy to the point you think you won't be able to keep roleplaying, let me know! I'll do the same. 

If you ever see me online and I haven't replied, please remember I migh still be busy and not able to reply! I'm probably thinking in a reply for the near future.

Let me know which type of roleplay you're looking for (long or short term).

It'd be helpful if you as well introduce yourself. Knowing about the other person  makes me feel more at ease.

If you have an oc, please give me an introduction to it as well, otherwise I won't be able to roleplay alright.

If you can only roleplay certain days, let me know.

If you don't like certain things, let me know as well, this way I'll try to create a nice atmosphere for the both of us.

Don't try to control my character/oc and my replies. You can always ask me things or give me ideas, but don't control what my character does.

soube que vc joga rpg no twitter e que esses dias estava falando sobre como a comunidade rpgista decaiu em termos de interpretação e que bases legais não aparecem mais. e eu concordo, a gente quase não vê mais coisas legais como antigamente

Oi, anon! Nossa, onde você andou me vendo por ai e como achou esse tumblr? Hahahahah mas sim, eu estava mesmo comentando sobre algumas coisas que me desanimam no rpbr nos dias atuais.

Nunca sequer utilizei essa tag aqui nesse perfil, espero que não seja problema, mas vamos lá:

Eu sou uma rpgista de bases (eu não consigo manter a sanidade no rp aberto, seja no tumblr ou no twitter, ou em qualquer outra plataforma). Atualmente, não encontro uma única central que tenha algo inovador ou que seja de boa administração – a maioria das bases, ou possuem enredos fúteis demais ou simplesmente tem uma administração que deixa a desejar e que vai acabar em menos de um mês. Até porque, como uma pessoa que foi ADM em cerca de 5 bases, eu sei que não é apenas criar a central, conseguir jogadores e pronto. As pessoas lá dentro esperam que você, como ADM, faça mais do que apenas dar bom dia e mandar o pessoal ir plotar. É uma comunidade de pessoas inteirinha nas suas mãos, e você precisa fazer o jogo rodar (o que, por culpa dos próprios jogadores, nem sempre dá certo).

Claro, não podemos culpar só as bases, mas os jogadores também são culpados sim. Rpgistas que não plotam, que não seguem o enredo proposto e que acham RUIM as pessoas que querem seguir – acredite, me ocorreu. Se é para entrar numa base e só ficar na tml conversando com a panelinha, NÃO ENTRE!

O rpbr no geral está horrível para se jogar. Contas que mais parecem FC's, brigas em OOC o tempo inteiro, achar ruim uma conta ser interpretativa, quando o sentido do RP é justamente esse! Além disso, pessoas sequer dando chances a bases super legais que surgem, e que por falta de jogadores, acabam sendo abandonadas. Outras que simplesmente conseguem uma quantia de players sim, mas em uma semana, os bonitos simplesmente dropam. Sabe? Se não for se comprometer, não entre.

Além disso, infelizmente o pessoal tá querendo mais engajamento em post vazio do que de fato seguir seus plots – a maioria nem tem plot pessoal. E para aqueles que seguem, quando notam que são ignorados, acabam indo com a manada, tornando a comunidade em TODAS as plataformas, um verdadeiro PORRE. Eu estava comentando sim, em como o sentido de base aberta também não entra na minha mente, como as pessoas simplesmente não dão chances a bases boas de verdade por pura birra de alguma regra que elas impõem e como, rpgistas que querem jogar e sabem que se fizerem algo mais elaborado, vão ser ignorados, então, é aí que tem essa quantia ridícula de bases sem plot, com sinopse sobre "todos moram em uma cidade e tem uma gossip".

A comunidade rpgista está decaindo, dando espaço a pessoas que sequer sabem jogar rp de verdade, que misturam ON e OFF, sem utilizar de símbolos comuns como o "//" ou o "OOC/ICC". Que passam o dia inteiro falando bobeira, mas que se for perguntar: Fulano, e seu plot? Vai dizer que não tem ou vai ser o plot mais vago possível. Se quer criar um fc ou um blog no tumblr, faça isso, mas sem se fingir de rpgista, por favor. Isso desanima as pessoas que querem realmente jogar ou que se esforçam de verdade para criar coisas legais.
