For some reason, whenever I look at Ch. 1-2 Soga, I still see him with red hair and then it immediately snaps to his canon blue when he comes back for the Stendahl arc. So that's part of my personal headcanon about him now: that he did in fact have red hair at the beginning of the series but he dyed it blue by the time they decided he should stick around.

While being heavily injured, freed himself from his bonds while catching up and jumping on top of a flying Noumu

-Though he did paralyze it mid-flight

Announcer two:For a man who doesn't have a strength or speed quirk, he's rather strong and fast. He's also a tough man.

Durability

Took a blow from Knuckleduster, which was strong enough to completely break his nose

-Later cut it off without even flinching a bit

Tanked punches from Izuku while the latter had his Full Cowl activated

-In that state Izuku's punches can shatter solid stone

Received kicks from Tenya, which were boosted by the Recipro Burst technique

Announcer one:I mean he can keep up with Todoroki and Tenya both of whom are capable of reacting to Kamanari's electric quirk and Dark Shadow who's capable of intercept said quirk and since it's not magic this is infact working like natural lighting. He can take hits from Tenya and Deku, both of whom can punch or break Todoroki's ice, which can perice stone or brick. And his fire can melt or burn Tetsutetsu can turn into steel. Which is scary. He can even cut through Todoroki's ice.

Matches and defeats different kinds of heroes and villains alike

Quickly defeated a group of 4 Yakuza members, who were known for their deadly combination attacks

-The Quirk of one of them formed an armor which looked exactly like Iron Man's Hulkbuster.

Doesn't necessarily aim for vital spots in the first place

-Simply wants to draw some blood so that he can immobilize them with his Quirk

Announcer two:he's a highly skilled fighter who can fight anyone from heroes to villains to even Yakuza and even Nomus. He's killed 17 heros and a building full of Yakuza and even took on four people known for combo attacks and killed... all of them.

Bloodlust

Can emit it like an aura

Is so immense that several pro heroes were unable to move, shivering in fear

-Forced even Endeavor to take a step back

Announcer one:he also somehow has some kind of bloodlust aura fear thing he can admit to paralyze people to stop them from moving. He can even stop powerful heroes like Endeavor or even very experienced ones like Gran Torino.

Carries two swords on his back

Has several knives of different size all over his body

Hides lots of throwing knives under his clothes

His boots are equipped with spikes

Announcer one:he has many tools at his disposal to better utilize his quirk or superpower in combat. His most preferred is a rather worn and damaged katana, but he also has spikes on his boots and various knives or throwing daggers on his body or in his clothes.

Bloodcurdle

His Quirk

When he orally ingests the blood of a person, they will be paralyzed

-Even a single drop is enough for the effect to kick in

The duration of being immobilized depends on the blood type

-In decreasing order: B, AB, A, O

-The maximum duration is 8 minutes

Announcer two:speaking of his quirk, it's called Bloodcurdle. It activates when he consumes even a drop of blood to paralyze any person. It is dependent on blood type. With B-Type blood living, you paralyzed for 8 minutes, but it's the maximum. Then it goes AB with 6 minutes. Then, A type with 4 minutes and finally O type with 2 minutes.

Personality

Is convicted that he has to purge the world of villains and especially "fake heroes"

-Aka heroes who are only doing their job for the sake of fame and money

-Previously, only killed villains

Extremely strong-willed

-Was ready to fight several heroes, including Endeavor, despite being heavily injured

Thinks that only those who put their lives at stake for the sake of helping others can be considered true heroes

Okokok so

Bnha vigilantes (or mha vigilantes) is a prequel spin-off to the boku no hero academia series. It has some darker themes than the beginning stages of the main story (cause like. Later on it did get darker. But vigilantes was like that since the beginning basically).

So spoilers ahead for people who care!

It happens a couple years before the main series. Essentially, in that world, there is an illegal quirk-enhancing drug mentioned already in the main series (trigger or ideo-trigger). Aside from enhancing the user's abilities it also seems to cause aggression, which some other variations of it later on don't do as much.

We start off by meeting our main boy, Koichi. His quirk lets him slide on essentially any surface as long as he has at least three points of physical contact with it. It means thatwhen he wants to go somewhere using it he's on the ground hunched over and gets compares to a cockroach a lot. He usually doesn't go fast cause he didn't really have a way of stopping, he's the main character tho so of course he gets better at using it over time. Koichi, even though it's illegal, uses it to drive around and help people out - not fight, but give directions, help find lost things, give people rides when they're running late, pick up trash people left etc. He tried to go to hero school but he was late for the exam because he saw some kid drowning in a river and pulled them out. They didn't let him take the exam since it started already. Later on he meets Pop and Knuckleduster and thwy do vigilante stuff together - mostly stopping people on trigger from hurting anybody and looking for the supplier.

Then we meet our other main character! Pop★Step is a girl who does street performances - she's a singer who uses her quirk to jump up really high while singing in a funky outfit and a lot of make up hiding her real face to stay anonymous. Cause since she's using her quirk in public and she doesn't have a permit to perform like that, it's illegal. She was the kid who Koichi saved from drowning but she's always too embarassed to thank him. During vigilante situations she uses her jumping quirk and speakers to help with evacuation.

And another main character! Knuckleduster. Punching grandpa. He was the first one to beat up people who used trigger and were attacking random bystanders. He's mysterious as fuck and quirkless. Or is he lmao. He likes beating the shit out of people. When he met Koichi he said "yeah call me master and i'll be teaching you to fight ya lil cuck" and everyone went along with it

There's also Jube and Ichimoku, who are inspired by the x men's Wolverine and Cyclops and they're funn as fuck. They're Pop's number one fans and supporters

Now more serious spoilers territory! This is more crucial spoilers

Soga Kugizaki is the 'leader' of the trio with Rapt and Moyuru. His quirk makes lil spikes out of him like a hedgehog. He and his friends were one of the temporary villains umder the influence of trigger. In their first appearance they meet and bully Koichi, them they beat him up in the second, later they try trigger when offered by a supplier. It reveals quite a bit about Soga, showing that although he's an asshole, it comes from a place of emotional vulnerability, which the salesman took advantage of. The whole thing ended with the vigilantes teying to catch the supplier, him taking trigger as well, turning big, sending rapt to the hospital and that's it. Later on Soga gets offered trigger again, by a different supplier, to fight Stendhal - who is the hero killer Stain from before he got into hero killing, he was killing temporary villains. He declines and tries to take him on without it, but the supplier (Kuin Hachisuka) uses her quirk, which controls a swarm of bees, and injects him with it anyway. Stendhal nearly kills him but Koichi gets involved, saving Soga's life by almost dying himself. Knuckleduster beats Stendhal's ass, which turns out to be his epiphany moment which inspires his hero-killing philosophy later on. There's a couple more incidents with temporary villains, all involving Hachisuka and the bees. It later turns out Hachisuka isn't the oerson - it's a parasitic entity which controls the bees and resides in someone's eye. And its current host is Knuckledusters daughter. He eventually manages to catch her and pull out the queen bee, then gets Tamao to a hospital, where during her stay she's being frequently visited by Soga and his besties. Turns out Knuckleduster is a pretty shitty dad. He goes to China to look for clues abt the drug trade and shit without telling anyone why he's gone, leaving the vigilantism to Koichi (sho goes by the Crawler and literally nobody gets it right) and Pop. It's also revealed he works with the police (as in he gives info to Tanuma who gives it to Tsukauchi).

Celebrating the release of 100 chapters! (*with the caveat that there have been more special chapters like 7.5, 9.5, SP1, and SP2 so technically they hit 100 chapters a while ago). Koichi also remarks how differently Soga is drawn now compared to the beginning of the series. Soga is embarrassed.
