Kind of bummed that this post got no traction because I think my new headcanon about Dreams Come True, in which the story of a surrogacy is a practical joke that rachel, jesse, kurt, and blaine are playing on their high school friends (and they are really bewildered that she is at 7 or 8 months pregnant with her and Jesse's offspring now and none of the friends have caught on yet) pretty much solves all my problems with that episode while still being technically compatible with canon.

"Your design." Amused at his disgruntled expression, Rachel sat back. "You were excited when I told you I was dating Santana."

Kurt sighed. "Marriage is different." At Rachel's look, he rolled his eyes. "Makes you... Boring."

Rachel covered her mouth. "Kurt, you married Blaine years ago!"

"Yes? And you can't say we're not boring now, can you? A good kind of boring, mind you, but still boring! What if I don't want my friends to suffer from that tragedy?"

Was Kurt even in this ep. This will be short.

This glance exchange at ‘showbiz’ will set up an entire New York plot and the Kurtchel friendship...

We never got to see what Kurt wrote.... (I’m assuming broadway tho)

This scene is hilariously depressing, but I find it weird that they write practically all the glee kids as wanting to go into showbiz? Are none of them just doing this for fun??

I love how quickly Kurt raced for this jacket. We all know how much the New Directions love swag.

Also, Chris just wanted something to do since he has no lines this ep lol.

Bryan Ryan snatched that bedazzled denim jacket from Kurt and with it... all his hopes and dreams.

Lol, a ‘possible breakout number for regionals’ I love how many numbers they bring up for competition that they never use. Ever song choice has to be last minute, obviously.

And... that’s all the Kurt. No lines. Sadness.

Catch up - Kurtchel (6/3/2017)

Due to busy schedules, Rachel hadn’t seen Kurt face to face for a while and she was excited to do so. She’d found somewhere suitable for both their tastes and booked a table. Auditions were going well, but when they finished for lunch early everyone was glad for a longer lunch break and exited the room quicker than a jackrabbit. The fresh air felt good, being locked up in the studio for so long made you feel sweaty and stuffy, the cold breeze helped clear the cobwebs.

Rachel arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes earlier than the time she’d arranged to meet Kurt, but was shown to her table anyway. Ordering a glass or water which she waited, she took her cell from her bag and caught up on texts and emails. One text made her smile, it was something from Hugo. He knew the audition process was getting to her, so he’d send her messages of encouragement or something to just make her smile. Her eyebrows shot up when her phone started ringing and Hugo’s name flashed on the screen. “Are you stalking me?” She asked, amused at the fact he’d called when she was on lunch.

“Actually I track your cell via GPS,” there was a brief pause, “You told me you were having lunch with a friend at this time, I just thought I’d give you a quick call and see if you were free tonight. I’m thinking a foot rub, Chinese food.”

“You had me at foot rub.. as long as it’s you rubbing mine, and by foot you mean back and shoulders. How can every part of me ache from sitting in a chair all morning?”

He laughed, Back and shoulders it is..”

Do you have any Kurtcheltana headcanons? Or just Kurtana?

Oh Kurtcheltana, my beloved idiots (affectionate). I would have loved to see as much as possible of the Bushwick trio. Really, they lived together for like a season and we don't have that many scenes at all. Goddamm shame.

Idk how Kurtchel survived without their Tana for so long because Rachel has no survival instincts and would let her guard down the second someone flatters her, and Kurt has more common sense but is more welcoming towards people. Santana smells shady from a hundred miles away and saves Hummelberry from a number of scams and sus people.

Like, they share a braincell and together they survive somehow. Santana's street smarts and reads people, Kurt's the reasonable and emotionally stable one, and Rachel does the practical things like bills and such.

They have a chore board: Rachel makes and colour-codes it and Santana makes it her mission to mess with it. She does chores, it's not that she doesn't, but she gets pissed when Rachel expects her to do them. So they end up using Kurt's organizer because all can agree on his planning.

Kurtana go to a gay (and lesbian) bar together not long after Kurt breaks it off with Adam. Santana pretends like she's gonna be the coolest chick there while Kurt is nervous about it, but he ends up having so much fun and dances with a bunch of guys. Ironic thing is, it's he's not actually looking for a hookup whereas Santana is but she has no game. Lucky for her she's still gorgeous and the ladies there don't mind that she's actually a dork.

Rachel throws a hissy fit when she finds out they went without her, even when they point out she's not gay. She goes with them the next time just to prove a point and when she gets more numbers than her, Santana's furious.

During the Pezberry feud when Rachel moves out, Kurt tries his best to pretend the loft isn't incredibly empty without her. He makes an effort to keep up their routine with Santana but she kinda just shuts him out. She starts spending more and more nights at Dani's and it makes Kurt unbearably sad.

To end on a more positive note, they have weekly loft nights. They each get turns to choose what it is they're doing: Rachel mostly chooses musical movie night, Kurt likes board games and Santana always votes for a drink (but they end up watching movies on those nights too).

Man when I first started watching the show and I was like on season 2, I was watching this best of Santana compilation video because I couldn't help myself. And when I found out these three would eventually move in together? Could not believe it. Seemed like such a random combo and one that could not possibly work. But you know what, they were the best part of s4B and s5A. And we deserved so much more.
