Comment: Oh god, like, we all know that Souma is Touma, but why the heck does he change his uniform, too? Also, he doesn’t even use glasses normally so what’s with that??? Is this reverse Shinomiya Natsuki??? This is generic af and I still don’t know why they keep on adapting Nobana Saori’s works when their only redeeming BL is Osananajimi no do-M and that hasn’t even been adapted! 🙄 This work in particular is like Eroi Banchou and plots like these should just be left in 2008. I’d laugh so hard if Furukawa botches this too like what he did in Hinekure. 😂

Six Good Boys and Girls Join the Cast of Uramichi Oniisan TV Anime

  All you good little children out there are sure to have a good time today, because six new cast members and the opening theme song performers have been revealed for Uramichi Oniisan, an upcoming TV anime based on the dark comedy manga by Gaku Kuze about a children's TV host who can't help but let his grim and pessimistic personality slip through on air. The new cast members include:

  Shin-ichiro Miki as Yusao Hirode.

Kenyu Horiuchi as Tekito Derekida.

Natsuki Hanae as Eddy Edei.

Minami Takahashi as Kayo Ennoshita.

Rina Sato as Ikuko Heame.

And Kazuya Nakai as Furitsuke Capellini.

  The opening theme for Uramichi Oniisan is performed in character by Iketeru Daga (CV: Mamoru Miyano) and Utano Tadano (CV: Nana Mizuki).

    The Uramichi Oniisan manga is serialized in Ichijinsha's comic POOL digital magazine, and an English language version is also published by Kodansha Comics under the title Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan. Kodansha Comics describes the story of the series as follows:

  How did the cynical Uramichi end up hosting a TV show for small children? And how long is the studio going to let him keep teaching the kids the sorrow and exhaustion of life instead of, say, the ABCs?

    The Uramichi Oniisan TV anime is directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama and features animation production by Studio Blanc.. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan beginning in July of 2021.

What I love about Caste Heaven: Part 1

Hey guys, this is a series of posts talking about what I love about a book I am currently addicted to called: Caste Heaven. I’m sorry it took so long to make, I became unexpectedly busy for a few days. MAJOR SPOILER WARNING. This first part will be about the characters.

Caste Heaven is a yaoi/BL manga made by none other than Ogawa Chise. This manga is a psychological story set mainly in a high school. In their school, there is a class caste in every class - one that the teachers don’t know about. A caste is basically a ranking of individuals, for example, there is a king, a queen, a jack, etc. The caste is decided in an after-school scavenger hunt where the students must race to find their desired card before someone else does. In Caste Heaven, high school students must make their own decisions on how to survive their high school life now that they are given the chance to make opinions for themselves. One of the things that make this book interesting is its characters.

The characters in this book are just completely amazing. Yuuya Azusa (blonde hair) is the main character of this series in the first few chapters. Azusa is a cocky, overbearing, and selfish king. He takes advantage of girls whenever he chooses too and, holds no qualms about using his own subjects for his own benefits. At this point in time, readers are given the chance to hate this man and yearn for his downfall. At the end of the first chapter, Azusa tells what he thinks to be his most faithful subject, Kouhei Karino (black hair) to get him the king card using the common tactic of seduction. As you may have guessed, Karino does not do this. Karino, in fact, keeps the king card for himself and gives Azusa the joker card - the lowest rank. Karino then reveals his true personality as a sadistic leader. Karino’s sudden change in personality was expected yet made me wonder: What reason did he have to hide his personality? Why did he want Azusa to suffer so much? What was the reason for his hatred towards Azusa and why was it so important? By this point, readers start thinking things like ‘Azusa had it coming’ and ‘he deserved it anyways’ as well as ‘this is a chance for him to learn how to be less cocky’. I kind of felt that way too; until I saw how he lived at home. I won’t go into detail about what exactly was there, but the point is: Azusa was suffering. He had a terrible relationship with his mother because of the choices she made in order to have her and her son survive which shaped his twisted personality. It didn’t matter what he did or how many people he used to him because his goal was to not become like his mother at all costs. The problem is, he didn’t know the correct way to do that because he’d been living with his mother and her bad choices for years which led to him thinking that that was the only way he would be able to survive in this world. Azusa is desperately trying to cling on to that last bit of pride he has even in his current situation, because of that, he rejects pity and interprets it as mockery. Azusa twisted personality and Karino’s occasional sadistic monopolization of him is what makes this story continuously interesting.

Enter: Kusakabe Atsumu. Atsumu is by far the most adorable character to me personally. He’s pure, he’s cute, and he just does not deserve any pain that comes to him. Atsumu was the former joker before Azusa; he was bullied constantly by his own classmates because of his position and I just felt bad for him. That is until one person showed up and completely changed things for him.

Kuze is the one person that was not affected by the class caste and chose to give Atsumu a chance. After the caste was chosen again and their ranks were closer to each other which gave them a chance to talk without being criticized as friends, Kuze wanted nothing more than to protect Atsumu. Kuze literally puts Atsumu first in all kinds of situations. What’s also lovable about Atsumu is that he’s not thinking about how to survive in this situation - he’s thinking about what is right. When he witnessed Kuze putting himself in harm’s way just to protect him, he felt that it was not right.

Kuze’s story begins when he was young. At that time he was given the chance to take care of bunnies to make them grow. After the bunny he’d attempted to take care of so earnestly died, he felt as though it was his fault and vowed to himself to protect things to best of his abilities so that they won’t die. After seeing rude characters for multiple chapters, I was actually shocked when Atsumu tried to help Kuze with his trauma. Atsumu and Kuze is the perfect pair for this manga and their interactions are what make me calm down when something in the story goes completely crazy.

Something that really warms my heart with the characters is the interactions with Atsumu and Azusa. Azusa was the cause of Atsumu being the joker in the previous caste. Azusa also has never treated Atsumu with any kind of respect, but even with that, Atsumu still gives him a chance. There are always those little moments where Azusa will be irritated and feeling dreadful about his circumstance. Azusa had already given up on gaining respect from his classmates so he’d just be mad with nowhere to turn to. Then Atsumu would just smile and say those caring words that he really needed. Something as small as “Are you okay?” would make Azusa feel much better. Even though he still gives Atsumu the cold shoulder, I think Azusa appreciates Atsumu’s compassion and would probably even hope for them to be friends.

Aku yakin banyak dari kalian yang belum mengenalku. Aku tidak tahu apakah aku sudah pantas untuk disebut sebagai penulis atau belum. Bahkan, aku tidak tahu apa sebenarnya penulis itu. Apakah orang yang menulis sesuatu untuk dirinya sendiri bisa disebut penulis? Ataukah dia harus menerbitkan buku terlebih dahulu baru bisa disebut penulis?

Meski begitu, hal yang ingin aku katakan adalah aku "mencoba" untuk mempublikasikan tulisanku yang selama ini hanya berdiam diri di dalam pikiranku saja. Aku bilang, mereka berdiam diri di pikiranku karena aku tidak pernah benar-benar menuliskannya. Meski begitu, kisah "tokoh-tokoh" yang bisa dibilang sebagai my original characters selalu menghantuiku.

Karena itu, aku ingin berbagi dengan kalian semua mengenai kisah mereka yang sudah benar-benar aku tulisankan selama beberapa bulan ini.

Pertama kali aku mempublikasikan tulisanku adalah di wattpad dengan judul "Spring Scream". Sebuah kisah mengenai seseorang bernama Natsume Haruki. Seorang pemuda yang mencari adiknya yang terpisah sejak mereka kecil. Pada akhirnya ia memang menemukannya. Tapi ia justru terjebak dalam sebuah ironi yang tidak pernah terbayangkan. Namun, kisah itu masih membutuhkan banyak perbaikan jadi aku menghapusnya dan akan mempublishnya kembali lain kali.

Selanjutnya aku berkenalan dengan storial.co (platform tempat aku menulis sekarang). Aku mencoba "memaksa" diriku untuk menyelesaikan satu kisah dalam sebuah kompetisi (yang pada akhirnya tidak sempat aku selesaikan). Pada event kompetisi "PULANG", aku menulis kisah mengenai kakak angkat Rena Rahardian (Natsume Haruna), tokoh yang merupakan adik kandung Natsume Haruki dalam "Spring Scream".

Kakak angkat Rena, Rendra Rahardian, merupakan tokoh utama dalam novelku yang berjudul "La Maison". Kisah itu menceritakan mengenai masa lalu, penyesalan, dan keinginan untuk menebus kesalahan. Sayangnya waktu yang ia miliki tidak banyak dan pada akhirnya ia harus kembali meninggalkan sang pujaan hatinya.

Lalu aku juga menulis sebuah cerpen untuk kompetisi "DREAM". Untuk kompetisi dream, aku menulis dengan judul "Colours Of The Heart". Sebuah kisah tentang usaha menepati janji. Sebuah mimpi yang ingin digapai dengan mengorbankan masa lalu dan juga segala yang dimiliki. Willyandra Romeo selalu berusaha untuk menepati janjinya pada sahabat masa kecilnya yang juga merupakan cinta pertamanya.

Selanjutnya, aku mencoba menulis di GWP (Gramedia Writing Project) setelah menemukan sebuah banner kompetisi yang sedang mereka adakan. The Writer's Show 2020 merupakan kompetisi pertamaku di GWP dan yang mendorongku untuk mulai menulis di sana.

Sejujurnya, aku tidak tahu kisah apa yang harus aku ikut sertakan. Tapi... ada satu tokoh yang benar-benar aku sayangi. Nakayama Akira, tokoh utama dalam novelku di GWP merupakan seseorang yang sangat mengagumkan. Dan jika kalian membaca semua karyaku, mungkin kalian akan menyadari bahwa Akira lah yang memegang benang merahnya. Semua tokohku terhubung pada Akira. Dalam "Autumn Voice", aku menceritakan kisah mengenai Nakayama Akira, Liana Dylair, dan juga orang-orang di sekitar mereka yang berusaha keras untuk menjaga janji masing-masing.

Sebenarnya aku ingin menunjukkan seluruh kisah hidup Akira, namun aku sadar kisah itu akan sangat panjang dan tidak cukup hanya diceritakan dalam satu novel saja. Aku berencana untuk menuliskannya sebagai side story dan akan aku publikasikan di wattpad.

Masih banyak lagi kisah lain yang ingin aku tulis, seperti kisah Kuze Fuyuki (sahabat Akira dan Haruki), Shinomiya Natsuki (adik Shinomiya Youichi dalam Autumn Voice), dan juga banyak lagi tokoh lainnya. Aku harap aku bisa menyelesaikan semua kisah mereka.

Selain itu, aku juga mencoba untuk menerjemahkan bahasa Jepang ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Untuk saat ini aku masih berfokus pada terjemahan lagu terutama lagu-lagu vocaloid dan mempublikasikan di blogspot dan juga subtitle di channel YouTube penyanyi favoritku.

Aku juga berencana untuk menerjemah dan menulis subtitle untuk utaite (orang yang membuat cover di Nico Nico Douga dan YouTube, biasanya mereka berfokus pada lagu vocaloid, anime, maupun game) kesayanganku, Miyashita Yuu (宮下遊). Selain itu, aku juga akan memperkenalkannya pada kalian dalam tulisanku selanjutnya. Aku ingin kalian mengenal penyanyi/ilustrator/komposer yang sangat berbakat ini. Miyashita Yuu merupakan permata yang tersembunyi dan belum diketahui oleh banyak orang. Pada 22 Juli yang lalu, Miyashita Yuu atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai miy_yuu baru saja merayakan 12TH ANNIVERSARY, yang menandakan ia sudah melakukan kegiatannya sebagai utaite selama 12 tahun.

Aku juga ingin menuliskan subtitle untuk video orang-orang yang membuat video reaction untuk Miyashita Yuu.

Sebelumnya aku tidak tahu apa yang aku inginkan. Tapi, meskipun aku masih belum bisa lepas dari masalah terbesar dalam hidupku namun, aku bisa dengan senang hati mengatakan "aku menyukai hidupku saat ini".

Dengan menulis dan menyukai lagu-lagu vocaloid (terutama yang dinyanyikan oleh Miyashita Yuu) aku mengenal banyak sekali orang baik dari berbagai belahan bumi. Dan aku ingin kalian menjadi bagian dari orang-orang itu.

La storia è ambientata durante l’era Taisho in un Giappone alternativo, agli inizi del XX secolo. Le vicende ruotano attorno ad una giovane che, per salvare il suo casato ormai caduto in disgrazia, accetta di sposare un uomo uomo di buona famiglia di cui non conosce né il nome né il volto. Poco prima del matrimonio combinato però, suo fratello minore si suicida e viene ritrovato con un vecchio libro tra le mani. Date le circostanze misteriose della morte, arrivano sul posto degli agenti del Fukuro, l’Ufficio di coordinamento e gestione delle informazioni della Biblioteca Imperiale. Secondo loro il libro è uno dei cosiddetti Maremono, un tomo in grado di soggiogare la mente di coloro che lo leggono. Ancora scossa ed incredula dopo l’evento, la protagonista si accorge di aver acquisito il potere di riconoscere questi libri maledetti, riuscendone a scorgere l'Aura che li contraddistingue.

Il videogioco per PS Vita, sviluppato da Otomate e distribuito da Idea Factory è stato pubblicato il 21 aprile 2016. Il 21 settembre 2017 è prevista l’uscita di un sequel intitolato “Nil Admirari no Tenbin: Kuroyuri Enyoutan”.
