i still don't understand where the lonnie x rogelio x kyle ship came from. rogelio and kyle, i can somewhat see, since there were a few interactions between them that could be considered romantic, albeit very brief. (although, if i'm not mistaken, rogelio partook in bullying kyle too and never tried to stand up for him or protect him)

but lonnie? how did lonnie come into this? there was no instance of a romantic connection between her and rogelio or kyle. if anything, i would headcanon her as aroace but nate couldn't let any of the characters stay single.

This is crazy how the spop fandom, especially when it's dealing with the pairings and ships in the series, was ABSOLUTELY toxic as hell :/

I think it ruined a lot of things to be honest, and I'm very glad I was never part of any of the dramas or the antis wars or whatever... Of the fandom in general, despite just being in contact with *some* people, who were nice and good.

I mean... For example, you can dislike a ship, or like one more than another, but just spreading the hate and the insults that was spread... That's kinda inhuman and rude :/ Same goes for a specific character or a scene, I mean... Come on, do you think being rude is going to help make it better? Spoilers: nope.

Today, I am almost ashamed sometimes to be a Glimmadora shipper and to post online, because of what most of Glimmadora shippers had done... The hate that was spread, especially towards Catra, or in the fandom Catradora or other shippers :/ I DO NOT want to receive that hate. I am NOT like them. And everyone should have been respectful, because it has ruined the vision of Glimmadora or JUST the vision of the friendship between the girls. And same goes with Catra.

I am personally a nice multishipper who appreciates almost everything... I have my preferences, of course, but it does not forbid me from appreciating OR being neutral towards other things of the show :/ Spop is not perfect at all, there are many things in the story and the character telling that are kind of wrong and badly handled, but it does not mean it's still not a good show, with good things and really interesting characters :/ People hating on Catra or Glimmer I really can't stand any of you anymore, especially if it's just to insult without even thinking. (Counting that both of them are kinda alike when we see the parallels, especially in season 4, but well-)

Well, that's all for me, I just needed to do a post related to that... I have seen a lot of hate content about Spop recently, and I just think it's important to remind people to be, I don't know, *respectful*? It's not hard to be huh. Spreading hate was never the solution, and I find it sad that most good, nice and caring Glimmadora shippers like me, who respect others deeply, are put in the same basket because people just thought being disrespectful and mean would be the solution.

Catradora is canon. Glimbow is canon. Scorfuma also is. As well as Rogelio x Kyle x Lonnie. And that's great, that's the way the series intended to do and to go. But it does not prevent from creating AUs or alternative universes where your ship could be canon! It does NOT mean you should spread hate on official and canon ships, GOSH. And the reverse is the SAME. Stop spreading hate. Spread love, respect and neutrality. You can give your opinion, but BE RESPECTFUL. And NICE.

And I swear to Grayskull if ANYONE EVER insults me on liking Glimmadora a little more than other ships (I'm a multishipper I do like Catradora and Glimbow don't get me wrong), I will commit arson on you with the help of Sea Hawk setting one of his boats on FIRE. let's stars: Scorpia says out of the blue that Kyle has a crush on Rogelio but if you pause and take a minute to think it it's wierd and disgusting because Kyle is a person and Rogelio an animal. Remember that Rogelio is not like C*tr*, his not a human, his a lizard . I mean what the shows says is that a person ( in this case, Kyle ) has a crush on an animal ( in this case, Rogelio ) and that's zoophile. I mean, it took me hour to realize why i felt the ship was wrong and then i realize Nate created a zoophile ship. Idk ic C*tradora counts too because yes C*tr* is an animal a cat but she's also a human so idk but still awfull. But well, i don't have any questions but i would like to know your opinion about this

I'm so glad that I'm not the only person who feels this way! I love Kyle but Rogelio is a literal lizard, he is not shown to be able to talk like Catra, he only speaks in grunts and him and Kyle are never shown to understand each other, Rogelio and Lonnie are the only ones shown to understand each other consistently, Rogelio is never shown to understand Kyle, and Kyle is never shown to understand Rogelio, which just makes the ship really icky for me. At least Catra, despite being a horrible person who did not deserve Adora was shown to speak and understand Adora.

Can't Sleep Universe - A universe focused around my c*tradora kid, Elizabeth Randor ( Izzy ), who is very bitter and angry with her parents ( mostly Catra ). Includes abuse, divorce arc ( that's a thing, apparently ), and healing.

The Whispering Woods Universe - A universe where Adora is raised by Madame Razz and Light Hope and is a fierce protector of the Whispering Woods, setting up traps and making spells. She-Ra most likely doesn't exist in this AU. Includes learning about the past, Grandma // Grandkid dynamic, and Adora being a nerd.

Desert's Flowers Universe - A universe where Entrapta raises Adora instead after the little one runs away from the Horde. Includes loving mother, family to complicated, strangers to allies to friends to ??? to enemies ( entrapdak again ), and Horde Prime being a douche.

The Lightning's Song Universe - A universe where Adora was locked away in the Prison Dimension for 100 years, and is considered a 'corrupted heroine'. However, Glimmer and Bow decide to unleash her, hoping she'd be their best bet against the Horde. Includes discovering the truth, unhinged rageful Adora ( we stan ), and earning trust.

The Soulmates Universe - A more historian universe where Adora and Bow have to fake-marry for social reasons, and struggle with internalized queerphobia as they fall in love with people that aren't each other. Includes best friends, what love really means, and identity metaphors.

Danganronpa - Adora is the Ultimate Warrior, who may be considered the 'second Mukuro', depending on who you ask. Is best friends with Sakura and Hina ( including others ).

Sonic the Hedgehog - Light-hearted fun, mainly just Adora thinking Sonic is really cool and vice-versa.

Status: Implied

Description: They are classmates and coworkers, with Hiyori being the Assistant Manager to Aizo and Yujiro’s Idol Duo, LIP X LIP. They originally do not like each other, but respect each other’s determination and passion for their dreams, which develops into heartfelt support and fondness. While Hiyori claims they aren’t her type at all, she says her type is a prince, and later describes both of them as “princely”, eventually even having a dream about marrying both of them. Aizo and Yujiro dedicate a song to her and the classic rose petal iconography in shoujo anime is represented by petals in the boys’ colors, rather than the standard red or pink, as they fly by her.

Have any headcanons to share about Kyle? Also, your feelings on Bow x Kyle?

Hmm, I can think of a few:

I've read a fanfic once where Kyle found a diary (which belonged to someone else in the Horde, but they don't know what happened to the original owner). I like to think Kyle confides in a diary to talk about his days and his private thoughts, especially the "negative" ones.

I imagine Kyle being interested in tech like Bow. He seemed to know how to repair the vehicle he, Lonnie and Rogelio got stuck in during that storm (s4). Kyle might secretly take some broken devices or pieces of robots to dismantle them. Idk if he would be the kind to build robots like Entrapta, though. But I think he likes playing with machines when he's stressed or after he's been kicked out of training.

This one is very personal, but I once imagined Kyle and Adora being close friends when they were younger. However, with Shadow Weaver erasing Adora's memories, and Catra being extremely possessive of Adora, Kyle realizes Adora doesn't seem to recognize him, and ends up not treating him well because of Lonnie and the other cadets. This is really just me liking angst + the potential of Adora and Kyle being friends or siblings in some way.

As for Bowkyle, I am the captain of Bowkyle, lmao. Just kidding. But these two are one of my favorite pairings in the show. That is, I like what it could've been if the writers weren't so mean to Kyle. If anything, I'm sure those boys would be besties. Bow seemed to feel out of place as he's "the only one who's not a princess" (at the very least Bow isn't harshly bullied by his peers, even if some characters might mock his passion for arrows though), while Kyle must feel like he doesn't belong in the Horde. They both really value friendships and sadly they're taken advantage of. Not to mention that, ironically, they both finally snap in s4, but their character arcs don't really go anywhere. Bow's case is more infuriating considering he's the black best friend character and he has little to no arc in the series overall. Kyle's arc also made me sad because he had to nearly kill himself for Lonnie and Rogelio to actually give a shit about him.

Overall, I think Kyle would've been a great addition to the Rebellion. He and Adora could rely on each other when it comes to Horde trauma (plus Kyle could tell Adora about the memories she lost of their friendship if you count my last headcanon), besides Kyle possibly telling the princesses about what the Horde might be planning (I will never forget he risked his life to tell Bow where Glimmer was, and Kyle was still thrown away). He and Bow could be friends and be totally annoying (affectionate) around each other. Like Bow would show Kyle his arrows and they would talk about tech for hours and hours. I think Kyle deserved better friends. If Scorpia did, why not him, too?

A/N: I think these two would be really sweet on screen, too bad we didn't more of them.

Rogelio has one of the best senses in the trainee team. As such he knew very well when he was being watched or followed. He recognized those footsteps and that scent. It was Kyle. He'd been following him around like a hatchling for a week now, always ducking away when Rogelio would turn around.

Not only that but he's getting very distracted during training, so much so that Rogelio had to tackle him out of the way of Catra's claws.

"S-Sorry." The blonde was quick to recover and get out from under Rogelio, offering another apology while his ears burned red and he ran for the doors, almost tripping over himself.

Another incident was in the locker room just a few days ago.

Rogelio was walking back from a post-training shower when he saw Kyle meddling with something around his locker. When Rogelio put a clawed hand on Kyle's shoulder the boy jumped and yelped at the unexpected contact. His back smacked against the lockers.

"Rogelio! Uhm... I was just uh... you know what, nevermind! See you at the mess hall!" Once again he ran, but Rogelio caught a glimpse of a piece of paper in his hands. He looked back at his locker, chuckled and shrugged.

It all came to a head when he saw Kyle running out of the locker room just as he was about to enter it.

He glanced around for anything that might have made him run so fast, but found nothing. Then a piece of paper caught his eyes. It was sticking out of his locker. He looked back at the direction Kyle went in and then walked up to his locker. Upon opening it the piece of paper fell. It was just about to hit the floor when he caught it, crumpling it a little in his grip.

Unfolding it he found a rather crudely drawn picture of his face and Kyle's, with little pink, yellow and green hearts around them. On the bottom there was a question mark and Kyle's signature.

Rogelio stared at it for a while. Suddenly the way Kyle was acting made a bit more sense to him. He heard a thump behind him and when he turned around he realized that it was his tail, happily and quickly thumping on the hard floor. He looked back at the paper and smiled. He left the locker room with only one thought. He needed to find a good way to respond.

He actually spent the better part of the night thinking about it. He probably would have been awake the whole night if Lonnie didn't throw a pillow his way and told him to just go to sleep already. With a huff he glanced up at the bunk bead above him and listened to Kyle's light snores as he too fell asleep.

The next day he managed to finish his letter, no less crude than Kyle's. Although Lonnie did get a glimpse at it and merely punched him on the shoulder and laughed with a knowing look on her face.

Kyle was just about to leave the locker room for the training room when Rogelio stopped him, "Huh? W-What's up man?" Kyle tried his best to look as relaxed as possible, but the fast thump of his heel against the floor gave away his nervousness.

Rogelio gulped, pulled him closer and sat them both down on the nearby bench. Kyle looked at him with a quirked eyebrow, a small blush barely there.

Rogelio took a deep breath as he palmed the letter in his pocked before quickly shoving it into Kyle's chest, making the smaller soldier groan. Rogelio looked back at the floor as Kyle unfolded it.

In it there was an almost stick-figure drawing of the two of them holding hands and a big heart around them, signed in the corner by Rogelio. Rogelio heard Kyle inhale sharply.

"So... yes?" Prime this silly blonde will be the death of him with his cuteness.

With a nod Kyle loosely wrapped his tail around Kyle's back and hip. From the corner of his eye he was him pump a fist in the air before he leaned his head on Rogelio's shoulder. They missed the training that day, got yelled at by Shadow Weaver and teased by Lonnie, but it was more than worth it for them.

favorite male character: absolutely bow, since the very first episode I decided that he was perfect. I will project hard on him he’s great.

favorite female character: Entrapta, she is my highest ranked character she plagues my brain. I want to hear her explain tech to me. I have a lot of favourite character that I’d let explain things to me.

least favorite character: horde prime. Just I hate him sm. He’s the worst.

prettiest character: okay so this is one is a tie between a few different characters. One is she-ra cause oh my goodness she Is beautiful, two is double trouble I am in love with them and as a shapeshifter enthusiast I want to be them and three. Wrong Hordak. I’m sorry everybody but he’s pretty to me.

funniest character: Probably sea hawk or scorpia.

favorite season: this is one is really difficult cause I loved them all but either 3 or 5. 

favorite episode: another hard one, because there is so many and I have a bad memory. But I think it was either the season three like finale episodes with the portal stuff. Or The episode where not only did double trouble tell hordak that catra was lying to him about entrapta, but also told catra what she needed to fucking here. That she was pushing everyone away.

favorite romantic ship: Entrapdak is my number one ship, they plague my brain at all hours of the day and I love them. I have a thing for really angry or grumpy people with issues meeting someone who is one, not even remotely afraid of them and two gets them to open up. These two are so perfect for eachother istg, he blushed when that fucking imp baby replicated him saying her name. He started crying when he found out what happened to entrapta. Entrapta didn’t want him to leave with prime, she wanted him to stay. She cares about him so much, she worries about him and Omfg I love them sm.

favorite family ship: I do not know what a family ship is but I assume it’s like, what’s your favourite like family dynamic, like oh these two are good siblings or this guys a father figure. Or this kid has a good relationship with their mother? I have no clue So anyways uh I’d have to say probably uhh I have no idea. I like glimmer and her dad, seeing her leave bright moon as soon as he got there tore out my fuckinh heart. 

favorite friendship: I love Rogelio, Lonnie and Kyle, I loved that episode where all of them got stuck with those fucking fireflies and Kyle went out there to get the ship fixed and he got so hurt and his friends came to protect him and honestly I’ve always loved those guys. As an added thing I also like scorpia and entraptas friendship with those two and eachother.

worst ship: this one is hard (I’ve said this way to much but whatever) because I really don’t hate a lot of ships, but like I don’t exactly know what to put here. The worst ship can be uh horde prime with fucking anyone.

ship that is overhyped: hmm, I mean I think a the ships get hyped to a good amount, everyone should get ducking insane with their ships but uh I guess catradora??? I have no clue dude I just chose the most popular ship.

ship that is underhyped: I haven’t been in the fandom for a while, but when I first started watching I really liked perfuma x bow &lt;3

an unpopular opinion: I have to check what exactly is considered an unpopular opinion in this fandom, but uh give me a minute. And there isn’t any actually gap In your time cause you’re seeing this all typed and stuff but yk I disappear for a minute In between writing this to go google stuff so uh brb. Anyways I’m back and couldn’t find anything I agreed with enough to talk about so I have to have an original thought about opinions now but uh, I really just love all of the show and think all the seasons and characters were really well written. I also like when they focus on redemption arcs and shipping because I kind of just like seeing that stuff happen a lot.
