I looked up a Bunzo (Poppy’s Playtime) plush on the internet. Eris, looking over my shoulder, made note on the fact that I could afford to buy one.
"You can buy him.”
“You might.”
“You can."
Going home in ten days!!
Dad got me Boba but it was in a weird smoothie and tasted like Pepto.
I voice chatted with Ora and Kyle and we played Lumber Tycoon on Roblox.

My Most Anticipated Movies of 2019
2019 is here! So you know what that means – NEW MOVIES!
Of course, there are a lot of movies coming out this year, and while I’m looking forward to many of them, there are some that stand out among the rest. So here I am, give you my most anticipated movies of the year. It should be noted that of course things could change. For example, movies get shifted around, pulled off the schedule or new movies are put on the schedule that I end up really looking forward to.
So with that said, this list is based off the current schedule that’s out, and they’ll also be done by release date, because it’s just easier that way. Let’s get to it!
 Captain Marvel – March 8th
Tumblr media
Yes, this list will include Marvel’s big three movies coming out – deal with it! Okay, now that that’s out of the way, Captain Marvel is something I’ve been looking forward to since it was announced. Not only is the movie Marvel’s first female-led superhero movie, it has a pretty damn great cast. Brie Larson plays the titular hero, aka Carol Danvers, an army pilot who gets caught in the middle of an intergalactic war between two alien races – the Kree and the Skrulls. The movie will also be a good introduction to the character to a lot of people who don’t know anything about the character, and that said, Captain Marvel has some good stories to tell. Captain Marvel co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Clark Gregg, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace and Annette Bening.
 Us – March 15th
Tumblr media
Jordan Peele is back behind the camera with another terrifying story, and this time he’s not hiding the creep factor like he did in the trailer for Get Out. Us follows a family (Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Alex), who while on a family vacation with friends run into some unexpected visitors. Everyone was talking about the trailer when it dropped on Christmas Day, and it was well worth it, because the trailer starts off innocent and slowly gets weird and creepy until it goes full-on “what the hell is going on?” and just like that, Us, has gone on a lot of people’s Must-Watch List. Us co-stars Elisabeth Moss, Tim Heidecker, Anna Diop and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
 Hellboy – April 12th
Tumblr media
As hard as it might be for some – including myself – let’s move pass the notion that we will no longer get a third Hellboy movie directed by Guillermo del Toro. That said, the first trailer for the new Hellboy movie actually had me pretty excited. Directed by Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent), the new movie has Hellboy (David Harbour) facing off against an ancient sorceress (Milla Jovovich) named Nimue the Blood Queen bent on revenge. It looks like a Hellboy movie, and seeing Harbour get a lead role in a big movie like this is great. I was a fan of his before Stranger Things and seeing him finally get the recognition he deserves should be awesome to watch. Hellboy co-stars Sasha Lane, Penelope Mitchell, Daniel Dae Kim and Ian McShane.
 Avengers: Endgame – April 26th
Tumblr media
Arguably, the biggest Marvel film to date, Avengers: Endgame (yes, it’s called Endgame, you figured it out, good for you) finishes the story they started in Avengers: Infinity War. Honestly, I don’t know what to expect from this, and I like it. The story could pretty much go anywhere, and even though we’ve seen set photos, without that context, we’re just talking in the abyss. I always keep my expectations, hype or what-have-you at the door when watching big movies like this, but I don’t think I’ll be able to contain myself watching this in a theater with all the other fans around.
 Detective Pikachu – May 10th
Tumblr media
Loosely based – maybe – off the game of the same name, Tim (Justice Smith) meets an intelligent talking Pikachu (voiced and also apparently motion-captured by Ryan Reynolds) who help each other as they look into the mysterious disappearance of Tim’s father. I, like many probably reading this, grew up with Pokemon and have a special place in my heart for the property. However, I had my doubts about the movie, mainly because it was going to be a CGI-Live Action hybrid, and those tend to not be that great. But DAMN did the trailer change my mind. The world looks great, the designs of the Pokemon look great too, and might be unexpected; because I know I didn’t envision Pikachu with fur. Detective Pikachu co-stars Kathryn Newton, Karan Soni, Rita Ora, Suki Waterhouse, Bill Nighy and Ken Watanabe.
 John Wick: Chapter 3 – May 17th
Tumblr media
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is back again, and this time he’s being hunted down by everyone. At least that’s the impression we got after the ending of John Wick: Chapter 2. The first movie came out of nowhere, and now John Wick is one of the best action series out there. Are they simple (plot-wise)? Sure, but damn there are a lot of fun. John Wick: Chapter 3 co-stars Ian McShane, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, Jason Mantzoukas, Robin Lord Taylor, Mark Dacascos and Anjelica Huston.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters – May 31st
Tumblr media
The gigantic sequel follows the agency Monarch trying to control the chaos that is to come when Godzilla battles three new monsters that have been awaken in Mothra, Rodan and the three-headed King Ghidorah. I know the first new Godzilla didn’t get a lot of love, but I personally enjoyed it. Now, not only do we get a sequel, but one that has all of the well-known other monsters we’ve come to know and love/hate. It also helps that the trailers are also great, and it looks epic! Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Ziyi Zhang, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Thomas Middleditch, Bradley Whitford and Charles Dance
 Spider-Man: Far From Home – July 5th
Tumblr media
The last Marvel movie of the year, Spider-Man: Far From Home follows Peter (Tom Holland) and his friends on a summer vacation to Europe, where Peter is recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to stop a powerful threat. Of course, there have been a lot of set photos to come out, and it’s also been revealed that Jake Gyllenhaal’s Quentin Beck aka Mysterio isn’t a villain and will be working with Spider-Man. Other than that, we don’t know much, but given that Homecoming was a great new addition, Far From Home should be good too, right? Spider-Man: Far From Home co-stars Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jacob Batalon and Marisa Tomei.
Fast & Furious presents: Hobbs & Shaw – August 2nd
Tumblr media
A spinoff of the Fast & Furious franchise, Hobbs & Shaw follows Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) teaming up with once again with Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). Despite how you feel about the Fast & Furious franchise – I personally think they are the ultimate turn-off-your-brain/have fun with it movies – the addition of Johnson’s Hobbs and Statham’s Shaw added a much needed boost to the franchise. Plus, the chemistry between Johnson and Statham was one of the best things about The Fate of the Furious, so a spinoff announcement had me onboard. Add on the fact that the movie will be directed by David Leitch (John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2) and have Idris Elba as the villain. Come on, I’m getting in line opening night. Hobbs & Shaw co-stars Vanessa Kirby, Eddie Marsan and Eiza Gonzalez.
 Honorable Mentions
Glass – January 18th
The Prodigy – February 8th
The Curse of La Llorona – April 19th
Brightburn – May 24th
Men in Black International – June 14th
Toy Story 4 – June 21st
The Lion King – July 19th
It: Chapter 2 – September 6th
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark – August 9th
Zombieland 2 – October 11th
Are You Afraid of the Dark? – October 11th
Star Wars: Episode IX – December 20th
So, what movies are you looking forward to this year?

SO HERE’S THE IDEA’S THAT ME AND @stcrmclcud got done
Some sort of game,, idk yet,,, doesn’t know their inside one
Different problems for each character (Missing parts, glitching parts, + parts they don’t need ect )
Idk why but. Stan as some kind of stitched Frankenstein’s Monster-esque furry.
Just. a fucking DOG with different parts. And it’s Stan.
Kenny has,,, skeleton bits MAybe,,
Cartman cld have like. An error or glitch on one of his eyes, kind of in reference to the many theories that he has Kenny’s eye??
Sobs idc if my girl heidi isnt in the au but. If she is. Flowers. She’s just covered in flowers. Any blemishes she has. Flowers.
Craig possibly is rather glitches out around the eye and a few other spots around his body
Frozen @ some point in the game and can not pass that said part
Missing File.exe
Missing background in some places, that and or rather glitched up and hard to see
Moments of g l itching,,,
Are. Are we allowed to let Ken pull a sans and know they’re in a fucking game bc his file keeps getting more and more corrupted (hence his body having skeleton bits; he rots more and more after it gets corrupted). He warns everyone so they cld do something abt it bc eventually he will fade away or disappear.
Tweek’s voice is fucked up, possibly has a third eye behind all his hair
RANDY IS NOT IN THIS AU,, His file was deleted a whole while back due to him knowing too much and yada yada, No randy
Kyle probably doesn’t have a mouth lol,, Its more glitched than anything
Butters missing his eye’s, blind boy
“LETS PLAY”
Creek? In my au?? NO THANK YOU
SOBS
Token probably doesn’t exist sorry,,
Jimmy has no legs sadly,, Missing in his files
Very tempted to make eric behind the whole thing
He probably is honestly,,
Tbh i really like the idea of Eric having alters, and since this is more of a glitch kinda game? He cld shapeshift into them. Mitch Conner, the more prominent one, is just a bald guy with the SAME eye glitch as eric.
Gotta add scott tenorman to the game because I love him, Possibly half human half robot type shit
Clyde ….. Died, more than likely, Possibly before the glitched happen, causing Craig to be more bumbbed out then usual...Craig probably wears his Jacket
I want Jimmy,,,, to wear Token’s sweater around his waist. Bc now that you mention it, the same thing cld happen to Token too :0
Fuck I think the idea of the characters all looking super surreal pre-corruption, kinda like the npcs of Yume Nikki- i just. Gfdnmmbhfbhghg pls. hOLD ON LEMME JUST-
KINDA LIKE THEM. wait im gonna send a clearer version to you in dms
Lots of secrets, lots of secrets,,,
What if, like in ddlc, Cartman cld put shit in ur game files. Or the characters cld.
A lot of it is just. Cries for help.
Insert a drawing kenny made of himself (skeleton with a fucking 2 foot dong) and the rest is just. Crass handwriting saying “PLEASE HELP ME I’LL DIE AT THIS RATE” or smth.
The game has a dark sense to it, not having very much lighting, the ora around the whole place is dark and mostly everyone isn’t so happy
Cartman thought the place was a little TOO happy so that’s why he probably did it, wanting full control over the whole place and by that he’d need to make the town dark and shit so they’d throw out the mayor and that.
Most of the girl’s files are missing, but everyone knows them….you just can’t see them
Oof to reference Heidi’s “quitting [twitter]”,,, whenever Heidi’s mentioned the words ‘Quitter’ appear so it’s a rule that no one talks about her.
What im trying to say is she voluntarily deleted her own file.
SHE KILLED HERSELF, MAN.
Craig is more emotionless than ever
RUBY?? IDK HER. KAREN ETHER
Everyones just DEAD MAN.
Idk how it happened theyre just gone.
Eric ‘ the hacker ‘ Cartman
Cartman you Big Blubbery Bitch
Sometimes really high pitched screaming happens but everyones used to it so its okay
Part of why theyre used to it is because tweek screams at the same pitch as the other ringing screams so they cant tell
What if at
Eric probably got Heidi to help him delete everyone’s Files, Possibly blackmailing her with someone of some sorts ( idk rn ) and forced her to delete files and that’s when she also deleted herself not going to be able to stand knowing she did it
If craig or kenny or either one says her name enough the writing “please don’t. I don’t wanna come back” will be written among a bunch of “quitters” overlapping and making this big fucking patch of whatevers. A conversation can probably be initiated from there.
Only Craig and kenny remember Heidi
The game probably disappears after a while because of so many files being deleted the game won’t run properly and will be forced to shut down...aka ALL FILES are deleted. So MC or NEW KID has to fix that?? And stop Cartman bringing everyone back ( But clyde cause he died before the glitch )
It all looks like peaches and cream at first (the scenery), esp while new kid roams through, and then they meet the first character and their monstrous appearances.
Wld this game be in FIRST person or third like the south park games,,
Third person
clyde glitches in and out of the world but since his file is gone. dead. destroyed for good and it really fucks with craig's mind bc he shouldn't even be here
OOOOO WHAT IF THE NEW KID CLD CHOOSE THEIR DESIGN LIKE IN THE OTHER GAMES
But you CANT be normal looking.
So like. Theres animal bits ummmmmm glitches,,,, your SKIn can be like. Really fucky.
Some characters don’t even have color to them, their just bland gray’s whites and blacks
If by chance bebe is in there,,, she probably has eyes all over her. In reference to people looking at her. Looking at her for too long results in a jumpscare of her shaking in tears and the words “PLEASE DON’T LOOK AT ME” appearing for like a split second. This is more likely to happen if you’re not engaging in conversation with her. (FUCK YES)
Kenny’s a filthy BODY PART THIEF
He steals ppls limbs so like he has his own skeleton-ish arms and then like four other ones
New kid having the option to hurt the people they meet
And Craig’s just like ‘ Nope ‘,, You choose the wrong people to hurt and Criag’s gonna get cha

Rita Ora and Taika WaititI Fuel Romance Rumors After Attending Event
At this time, both Rita and Taika have yet to publicly comment on rumors that they’re dating. Moreover, they are keeping a tight lip on their love lives in general. Per The Sun, the British star played coy when asked about her dating life during a recent interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show.   “I know you don’t want to talk too much about this stuff, but are you able to sneak lovers in and…

Although reality television stars hold enough star power themselves, it doesn't hurt to see some famous faces in cameo appearances, especially when it's not announced prior. Whether it's helping a reality star film a music video or stepping in as a guest judge, celebrity guest stars are there to help save the day on their respective episodes.
RELATED: 10 Failed Reality Shows That Helped Launch A Star's Career
There are a handful of celebrities who have been cameos in some of the biggest reality shows out there, and there are even more who are huge fans of these shows themselves, making their appearance just as important on their part as well as for the viewers.
10 Alex Rodriguez, Keeping Up With The Kardashians
Tumblr media
In season 15 of KUWTK, ARod was able to use his baseball expertise and teach the family some tips and tricks of the game.
The famous baseball player was helping the Kardashian clan practice and learn how to play softball for an upcoming charity game. He is one of the most famous athletes to appear on the reality show over its 20 season run.
9 Patti LaBelle, RHONJ
Tumblr media
The award-winning singer had her dreams come true when she was able to be featured on one of her favorite shows, The Real Housewives of New Jersey. In season 4, LaBelle was spotted when Chris Manzo and his friend went to the Fancy Food Show to promote their water, BLK.
While starstruck, Manzo hugged the singer and even gave her BLK water to take with her. The starstruck feeling was mutual since LaBelle already knew who Manzo was and admitted she was a fan.
8 Lady Gaga, The Hills
Tumblr media
The Hills followed Lauren Conrad and her experience trying to make it in the fashion industry, and one of her major assignments for her internship at Teen Vogue was to help out pop star Lady Gaga.
RELATED: 10 Musicians Who Made The Transition Into Films
This included helping Gaga get into her costume and make sure her appearance was perfect before she went on stage to perform. The episode featured Gaga's breakout hit, "Just Dance", which marked the start of her impressive career as a pop singer.
7 Ariana Grande, Keeping Up With The Kardashians
Tumblr media
Season 16 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians found Ariana Grande prepping for her now-iconic music video for the song "thank u, next".
Momager Kris Jenner was asked to play the role of the excited mom, channeling her inner Mrs. George from Mean Girls, in the recreation of the famous Jingle Bell Rock scene in the movie. Jenner nailed her part in the video, and Grande highly enjoyed her debut on the show.
6 Zendaya, America's Next Top Model
Tumblr media
Zendaya was featured on the popular model show on two different seasons. Her first appearance was on cycle 20 when she and model Shaun Ross helped the models with a photoshoot about flaws and insecurities.
In cycle 23, the reboot with Rita Ora, she was seen in the premiere episode where the models had to go from a runway walk to a trust fall photoshoot right after walking off the stage. The prize of this challenge was to take a selfie with Zendaya.
5 Seth Rogen, Vanderpump Rules
Tumblr media
Back in 2015, Rogen and his co-stars from the film The Night Before stopped by the set of Vanderpump Rules and created their own intro segment for the show.
RELATED: Vanderpump Rules: Most Popular OG Cast Members, Ranked By Instagram Followers
There was even footage released on his social media accounts sharing different scenes that he and his co-stars were in, which included other cast members of Vanderpump Rules training the celebrities how to work for Lisa and Ken. It also helped that he is a major fan of the show before he had this opportunity.
4 Nicki Minaj, RuPaul's Drag Race
Tumblr media
Minaj was an excellent cameo and celebrity judge on season 12's premiere episode of RuPaul's Drag Race. The queens had to rap for her as a part of their performance, which included a freestyle rap from Minaj herself in the episode.
Other than her rapping, she took her time as a judge seriously, including providing feedback on the queens' raps, offering advice, pointing out what she loved and what can be worked on with each queen, and brought a great attitude with her comments.
3 Kris Jenner, RHOBH
Tumblr media
Having connections to many celebrities in Hollywood already, Jenner's friendship with Kyle Richards, Faye Resnick, and Lisa Rinna worked out for her.
She was able to have a cameo on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on three different occasions, and there are even rumors that she is set to star in the show herself this year after Keeping Up With The Kardashians comes to an end.
2 Hilary Duff, The Hills
Tumblr media
Although Duff's time on the show seemed very quick, her impact on the other cast members in the episode was dramatic. One of Lauren and Whitney's jobs as the Teen Vogue interns was to make sure everyone got seated at a major fashion event.
RELATED: MTV's The Hills: Best Seasons, Ranked By IMDb
Duff's late appearance caused some stress and chaos for the girls, but she finally showed up to save the day and the fashion show.

He was once a man.
Evelyn Leif Darling, son of the Earl of Rothesay, has known nothing but priveldge his whole life. A student of music, he spent his evenings performing in the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, where he played the violin. When he was not making music, Evelyn attended state dinners, charity balls, and political salons. He was charming and intelligent. Everything a man of peerage should be.
But he is not a man, anymore.
There is something damning within him. A primeval rage, so unlike his character. Too often, he is forced into terrifying skin, and it is by the Grace of God that he has no yet harmed anyone. His luck is running thin; if he does not learn to tame the monster inside, he will become a murderer.
Though he should resign to his fate, he cannot bring himself to accept that he is now a monster. Evelyn continues to hold his place in society, refusing all offers to join a pack. I am no dog, he insists, but each fit spent in that awful skin proves otherwise. He is losing himself, slowly.
If it weren’t for a witch, he’d already be gone.
She is Ora Kyle, a mute woman that has won Evelyn’s attention. Something about her presence keeps him grounded, and even with no voice, she speaks to him the way no one else can. There is trust between them, for only she knows all of his secrets.
Only she has all of his heart.
If Evelyn has any hope of retaining his humanity, it lies within her hands.

I woke up at around six this morning to the sound of my “Something Shiny” playlist playing over the TV speaker. Everything was so still, it was like I was in Limbo. Everyone was asleep and the only light came from the warm glow of the lamp in the corner of the room. Lonesome Town by Ricky Nelson played in the background. I fell back asleep and woke up again at eight.
We kept calling Luke the Purple Guy since the Splat hair-dye had dyed his hands and face a light purple. I found it funny.
We also sucked helium out of the party balloons to make our voices higher and sang CPR by Cupcakke.
Last night, Aiden tried sending me his “apology” even thought I told him that I didn’t need or want one. He wanted to get me and the others in a meeting with Mrs. Prince just so that he could apologize even though none of us wanted to talk to him. I mean, I wouldn’t want to talk to someone who graphically described how he wanted to kill himself, why would anyone?
Then, he went into the CEC Discord server and tried dragging Ora into it despite us repeatedly telling him to STOP GETTING OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED IN YOUR STUPID BULLSHIT.
I reminded him that we have a “no outside drama rule” and deleted his messages.
Kyle told Aiden that because of the contract he signed with Mrs. Prince, that he couldn’t talk to anyone.
Aiden said that the contract said he couldn’t talk to anyone in a negative way. I don’t know how to explain to someone that stupid that talking to someone when they aren’t consenting to it IS IN A NEGATIVE WAY.
But wait, theres more!
He messaged me the document with the apology on it and told me that Kyle ruined his apology. I was absolutely bewildered at how he was making it sound like this whole thing was Kyle’s fault. I saw the messages between the two of them. Does he think I’m fucking stupid?
I haven’t read the apology. He blocked me on everything and left both of my Discord servers.
I was trying so hard to be nice about this but my God, what a sick fucking cunt. He seriously needs to get help. He showed the apology to his teachers and family and shit for some reason even after we repeatedly told him to stop dragging people in.
Lyra’s mom drove me home this morning.
Mema took me, Eris, and Athena to the dollar store.

REVIEWING THE CHARTS: 20th January 2019
So, uh, I‘ve been listening to a lot of Aminé recently.
FEATURED SINGLE #2 – “BLACKJACK” – Aminé
This is our second Featured Single, and I’ve decided this will be before the chart so feel free to skip this if you don’t want something beyond the charts to check out. This recently got a hilarious video, with ridiculous attention-to-detail and impressive... “choreography”. That counts as a single for me, and God, do I love this one. There’s this maddening melody that immediately gets pounded by an intense bass thud, with Aminé rapping monotonously initially, but gradually getting as excited as his ad-libs, with his quick flow accentuating both his loveable voice cracks and some of the funniest lyrics I’ve heard from the guy, including those four lines in the second verse, which he spends just praising and appreciating Jack Black?
Rockin’ and rollin’ like Jack Black / Schoolin’ you n****s like Jack Black (Yeah!) / How could you not like Jack Black? (How?) / I put that on my momma, n****, no cap
That second verse is great, by the way, there’s something so charismatic and enthusiastic about Aminé’s pointlessly specific pop culture references that can either breeze by so you don’t notice them or, as shown above, essentially be a rake joke.
Said she wants a spot on my list (Please) / I told her, “Go pray to your God” (I need to go to Church)
Yeah, that last part’s an ad-lib – more people should be doing back-and-forth exchanges in their ad-libs, 21 Savage’s done it in “10 Freaky Girls” and so has, uh... Cal Chuchesta? Anyway, this is literally a minute and 57 seconds long, so it doesn’t waste your time. Check it out if you like stuff by KYLE or enjoyed Aminé’s one hit, “Caroline”, although this isn’t really in the same range.
Top 10
Pretty busy week, let’s get into it quickly, because there’s not a lot to care about. “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max is still at the top spot and has been for about five or six weeks now. “7 rings” by Ariana Grande’ll take this spot next week, although we do have competition.
These next three songs are the competition, including “Nothing Breaks like a Heart” by Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus up one spot to the runner-up space, number-two.
Post Malone’s “Wow.” is also up one spot to number-three – good for it, this is a great song and I’d love it to hit #1.
Now, our first top 10 debut this week, “Dancing with a Stranger” by Sam Smith and Normani, arriving at number-four. This is Smith’s 17th Top 40 hit in the UK, and his 11th Top 10, whilst this is Normani’s second Top 40 hit and first Top 10 hit, so congratulations, I suppose, even though this isn’t including Fifth Harmony, who were hitmakers in their own right. We’ll talk more about this later.
“Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse isn’t moving at number-five.
Collapsing down five spots to number-six is “thank u, next” by Ariana Grande.
Our second top 10 single that debuted in this spot is “Giant”, by Calvin Harris and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, at number-seven. This is Harris’ 34th or 35th Top 40 hit and 24th Top 10, and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man’s 3rd Top 40 hit and 2nd Top 10 hit after his smash “Human”. We’ll talk more about this one later as well.
“Play” by Jax Jones featuring Years & Years is up three places to number-eight, becoming Jones’ 4th Top 10 hit and Years & Years’ 5th.
Once again, we have a debut in the top 10, this time at number-nine, as Gesaffelstein and the Weeknd collaborate once again for “Lost in the Fire”. This is Abel’s 17th Top 40 hit and 7th Top 10, while it’s Gesaffelstein’s first charting song as a credited solo artist ever, so congratulations. We’ll talk about this one more a bit later.
Finally, “Without Me” by Halsey is at #10, and it hasn’t moved from last week.
Climbers
We have two UK hip-hop songs gaining pretty highly here, one being pretty good - “Options” by NSG featuring Tion Wayne, up 11 spots to #14 – and the other being awful – “Gun Lean” by Russ splash is up five spaces to #34, but that’s it.
Fallers
These are a different story, however. “18HUNNA” by Headie One and Dave is down five to #11, “Rewrite the Stars” by James Arthur and Anne-Marie is down eight to #15, “Lost Without You” by Freya Ridings is down seven to #16, “Ruin My Life” by Zara Larsson is down five to #17, “ZEZE” by Kodak Black featuring Travis Scott and Offset is down six to #19, “Undecided” by Chris Brown is down six to #21, as is “Shotgun” by George Ezra to #22, and “Baby” by Clean Bandit, Marina and Luis Fonsi to #23, with the space of #24 being taken by “Thursday” by Jess Glynne, down five spaces since last week... but that’s not all. “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is down six to #27, “This is Me” by Keala Settle and the Greatest Showman Ensemble is down eight to #31, “imagine” by Ariana Grande is down 13 to #33, “A Million Dreams” by P!nk is down 11 to #35, “Eastside” by benny blanco, Halsey and Khalid is down eight to #39 and finally “Woman Like Me” by Little Mix featuring Nicki Minaj is down 12 to #40.
Dropouts
“Let You Love Me” by Rita Ora is out from #28, “SICKO MODE” by Travis Scott featuring Drake and Swae Lee is out from #36, “2002” by Anne-Marie is out from #37, “KIKA” by 6ix9ine featuring Tory Lanez is out from #32, “Happier” by Marshmello and Bastille is out from #35, “I’ll be There” by Jess Glynne is out from #40, “Grace” by Lewis Capaldi is out from #33 and “The Greatest Show” by Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Zac Efron, Zendaya and the Greatest Showman Ensemble is out from #38. That’s all, and there’s no returning entries, so let’s get straight to the main attraction.
NEW ARRIVALS
Yup, there’s eight of them. Let’s just blast through them as quickly as possible.
#38 – “Saturday Nights” – Khalid
Khalid is a great singer, and I’ve liked a lot of what he’s put out, but a full project from him would put me to sleep, hence I didn’t check out his EP he released last October titled Suncity. Thankfully, thanks to a remix with... Kane Brown of all people, it’s here for us to review, and as Khalid’s ninth top 40 hit, I can’t say it really stands up to his others. I think the guitar strumming has gotten a little too cliché in chill-pop, and I think Khalid was above following trends to a T, but he doesn’t really add anything except his sultry voice to what is essentially anyone’s instrumental, with off-kilter trap percussion and deep 808s, high-pitched vocal samples and again, that damn guitar. For some reason that guitar infuriates me so much, maybe it’s just because it’s so slick and runs through the entire song? This is entirely too polished and aggravatingly boring in that respect. Yeah, this is Khalid’s worst one yet. It’s exhaustingly overproduced, and not even his voice can save it.
#36 – “Leave Me Alone” – Flipp Dinero
...Is this post-trap?
Okay, so Flipp Dinero has been on the rise, and this is his first top 40 hit in the UK... and I honestly love it. We have this cutesy piano lead that’s so twinky it almost forgives the awfully cliché lyricism. In fact, everything here forgives that. Flipp Dinero’s raspy voice is a great contrast, and the trap beat here actually works because of how he flows over this, as it barely keeps up with him to the point that it has to add the producer tag and the “oh!” used in songs such as Nelly’s “Dilemma” and Travis Scott’s “3500” just to remind us it’s there. Flipp Dinero is freaking fantastic on this, and every “yuh” ad-lib is like an injection of happiness. There’s that flute you don’t even realise until Flipp stops (and no, he doesn’t do this often at all), and I haven’t even got into the hook. Not only is it insanely catchy, but it’s hilarious as Flipp sprays his heart out, with so much passion put into being mildly inconvenienced by a woman who wants to spend some time with him after they broke up. This is beautiful, and that’s not even sarcastic. This won’t be to everyone’s taste, but to me, this is so much fun. Better than the Michael Jackson song, though? Don’t even attempt the comparison.
#29 – “Someone You Loved” – Lewis Capaldi
God, this guy’s boring, and he doesn’t understand how music works. See, the vocals on the song are supposed to make sense relative to the instrumental, and if they don’t, there has to be justification or purposeful juxtaposition (see: “Leave Me Alone”). On “Grace”, he sounded out of place, and on his 2nd Top 40 hit, he sounds bored over a repetitive, droning piano melody. Lewis Capaldi strains his voice to James Arthur levels of undeserved intensity, and while Capaldi is definitely a better singer than Arthur, he’s just as lacking in any compelling content, delivery or personality. Does anyone actually care about Lewis Capaldi and what he has to say? No. No one does, because he’s Lewis Capaldi. We only found out we existed in England, and we’ve quite literally made his songs interchangeable, as his last hit dropped out this week. God, this guy is a bore in three minutes and two seconds. Leave me alone.
#25 – “Longshot” – Catfish and the Bottlemen
If I was still an indie/alternative rock-head like I used to be, I would be able to tell you all about Catfish and the Bottlemen because from what I heard, they were pretty damn good, actually. I’ve liked “7” and I heard their first album, it was okay, but I always knew there was a lack of a real hook to the band, that could blow them up, and I assume they’ve just found it, because this is their first top 40 hit in the UK, and, yeah, it’s pretty good. I like the intense build-up of that one guitar pluck until it just drops into a light pop-rock instrumental with enough power and distortion on the guitars and vocals to make it unique. There’s this ticking sound in the chorus that annoys me, but otherwise, it’s definitely a nice, catchy sing-a-long hook. Whilst I’ve never been all too fond on Van McCann’s somewhat nasal voice, I definitely think it works in the context of these poppier bangers, and like he says in the chorus, the little things do make me smile, as this instrumental is very intricately-layered without being cluttered. I love the passion in McCann’s “woo!” followed by a couple guitar strokes, I just think that’s a great moment you couldn’t exactly replicate with non-live instruments, as that chemistry between vocalist and band is important. This song overall? Yeah, I’m definitely getting back into these guys because this was fantastic. I love the mic feedback at the end and I’m actually really intrigued to what that leads up to on the album.
#13 – “Hello My Love” – Westlife
Why was this performed on the National Television Awards? Guys, you’re Westlife, you’re a music group. Talking about outrageous trivia, can you believe this, Westlife’s 28th Top 40 hit is literally just three minutes of nothing? It’s insane how popular these guys are yet they can get away with stuff like this when they reform for their first song in nearly a decade.
#9 – “Lost in the Fire” – Gesaffelstein and the Weeknd
The lyrical content on this one sucks. This is “Lost in the Fire”, and there are a few lines that are just really creepy, if anything, and really play up Bella Hadid’s sexuality for what seems like cheap views, because there’s really nothing else these dudes haven’t done that doesn’t sound exactly like this. They didn’t even make cover art, that’s how lazy these guys are. The groove’s semi-decent, I suppose, but there’s little to no build up and I feel like it really doesn’t have much of interest to talk about, which shouldn’t be true for a Weeknd song. The personality of Abel is obvious in other songs and albums, and his portrayal of this character is what makes him so intriguing. So where is he here? Is a Drake diss what the Weeknd would do, or what Abel would do? Now that is the question. Oh, yeah, and the synths here don’t exist. This song is boring as hell.
#7 – “Giant” – Calvin Harris and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man
Now, I like Rag ‘n’ Bone Man. Like Ed Sheeran, although I don’t like all – actually, a lot – of his music doesn’t mean I don’t like how genuine he is. He’s a normal, average guy who’s been releasing EPs, found a label and had the break-out hit written for him, so now he’s famous. There’s no nepotism, no cheap industry plant tactics, just pure talent getting him this far, and I respect that. So this sucks so much, like, wow, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man goes way too hard on this basic, lightweight synth-funk-inflected deep house beat. The trumpet drop is so pathetic it would make J Balvin and OMI laugh Harris off as an amateur. That shouldn’t be happening for someone 15 years and nearly 15 #1s into their career. I won’t be too mean on Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, though, he did his best, and he probably didn’t even hear the beat prior. What’s with the chanting at the end, though? That’s just odd.
#4 – “Dancing with a Stranger” – Sam Smith and Normani
So, some finger-snaps, Sam Smith humming seductively, and then that house beat kicks in and we get to pleasure our ears with a nice Sam Smith house track, because we totally need more of his entirely unfitting voice over slick, incredibly well-produced beats. Normani sounds absolutely amazing, and that subtle guitar in this beat is a nice touch, so nice it may just be essential to actually try and enjoy this song, because it’s not like these guys have chemistry (I mean, apart from the obvious reasons they wouldn’t have chemistry, guys, at least pretend this could happen).I guess this is okay, but its existence just tires me. Who wanted another one of these, really?
Conclusion
Since “Blackjack” is not applicable, we have eight to choose from (wow), and Best of the Week should be obvious, as it’s going to Flipp Dinero for “Leave Me Alone”. Yup, that’s right, that song’s a banger and a half. Catfish and the Bottlemen were damn close though, so they do get the Honourable Mention for “Longshot”. Worst of the Week goes to Gesaffelstein and the Weeknd for “Lost in the Fire”. Man, that just reeks of wasted potential. Dishonourable Mention? It could be a toss-up between any one of these guys. Pick your poison. Choose your fighter. See ya!

MTV EMA Winners: Eminem, Shawn Mendes with global icons U2
While Taylor Swift was expected to lead the pack at the 2017 MTV EMA's the tide shifted to Canadian pop singer Shawn Mendes with "Best Song," "Best Artist," and "Biggest Fans" awards. Shawn Mendes even beat Ed Sheeran to win the best-artist prize Sunday at the MTV EMAs, while U2 were proclaimed global icons in a show that celebrated London’s diverse culture, from pubs to pirate radio. Mendes, the 19-year-old Canadian star, also won the best-song trophy for “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” to the delight of fans standing in a polite onstage mosh-pit at the city’s SSE Arena. Fittingly, he also took the prize for best fans. The show, formerly known as the MTV Europe Music Awards, opened with a clip of Eminem performing his new single “Walk on Water” in a London pub. He then emerged onstage in jeans and a black hoodie to perform the slow-burning number live, with Skylar Gray filling in on the duet duties Beyoncé performed on the recording. Eminem was also named best hip-hop artist and proclaimed surprise. “I don’t know how I got this because I haven’t had an album out in a few years,” he said. Sunday marked the awards’ return to London for the first time since 1996, and locally bred singer Rita Ora was a suitably chipper host. Taking the stage clad in a bathrobe and towel, she kept things moving, changed outfits every few minutes and gamely joshed in video clips with the stars of pirate-radio sitcom “People Just Do Nothing.” The show featured plenty of visual spectacle, from the 50 dancers accompanying Demi Lovato on “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Tell me You Love Me” to the giant animatronic bird carrying Travis Scott onto the stage. Singer Camila Cabello, who won the best-pop prize, performed “Havana” with a troupe of dancers dressed as bathing beauties around a realistic projection of a pool. London grime artist Stormzy arrived in a police car and left in a blaze of fireworks after performing the rousing “Big For Your Boots.” Performers ranged across genres and generations and included singer-songwriter Kesha, electronic act Clean Bandit, rapper French Montana, rockers The Killers and former One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne. Kendrick Lamar won best video for “Humble,” a lavish clip laced with religious and art-history imagery. Coldplay was named best rock act, while the best-alternative prize went to Thirty Seconds to Mars. Frontman Jared Leto thanked Europe, adding that the U.S. is a land of immigrants and “we welcome you with open arms.” British singer-songwriter Dua Lipa was named best new artist. Apart from the occasional hint of marijuana smoke wafting across the arena, there were few of the unscripted-feeling moments that made past shows stick in the memory. There was no equivalent of Kanye West crashing the stage after losing in 2006 or Miley Cyrus smoking a joint in Amsterdam in 2013. U2, who played an MTV-sponsored concert in London’s Trafalgar Square on Saturday, received the Global Icon award from Leto, who said: “U2 changed my life.” “Their songs are prayers, their concerts a church,” he said. “They challenge us; they inspire us.” The Irish band dedicated the award to label boss Chris Blackwell of Island records, who signed them almost 40 years ago. And in a nod to a new generation of artists, Bono crooned an a capella version of Stormzy’s “Blinded by Your Grace.” The awards are held in a different European city each year, with winners selected by fans across the continent. Next year’s ceremony will be held in Bilbao, Spain. Complete List Of 2017 MTV EMA Winners: BEST SONG Clean Bandit - "Rockabye" ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie DJ Khaled - "Wild Thoughts" ft. I turned 18 last March 28 but since it’s a weekday, we decided to have the celebration on April 1 since it’s a Saturday. And I still have classes as well as my friends from the college. This post is not about the party itself but of course about him. 2 weeks before April 1, I started inviting my hs guy friends and that includes him. Nung kinakausap ko siya sa chat, I asked him if okay lang ba sa kaniya kung kumanta siya pero kasama niya yung best friend ko na maggigitara and kakanta siya tapos ako pati yung best friend ko pa na singer. “Ikaw, kc, marielle tapos ako. shet kapal ko” yan pa yung sinabi ko when he asked me kung sino sino. Kasi u kno pa-humble me hahaha. Pero ang sagot niya “Anong kapal, kotongan kita” and i know what he meant by that. Kasi ganyan ako lagi sa kaniya, when he wants to hear me sing, kapag gusto niya akong ka-duet, tapos lagi akong tumatanggi kasi aside from nahihiya ako, nanliliit din ako sa sarili ko bc I know someone’s better, and that’s Sam(yung girl na lagi niyang partner sa singing contests or whatever; dati niyang ka-MU). Pero ayun nga, kapag ginagawa ko yun, yung sagot niya parang naiinis siya kasi nga minamaliit ko sarili ko. Back to the kwento, after settling everything, we agreed on the same things cheka. We planned pa to meet next saturday to practice. From that day, I knew na magkikita na ulit kami. Pero honestly speaking, I didn’t feel anything. Hindi ako naexcite or ano. Parang normal lang. And I thought nasa process na ako ng moving on.
Sunday morning, my best friend told me she’s not gonna make it to my debut. I was hurt and mad but mostly hurt haha so I blocked her and told her na hindi ko muna siya kakausapin cos im fucking hurt. I told kyle about it on Sunday afternoon. We talked for a few minutes. The next day, after school, I had a message from him saying he will be bringing with him a guitarist. Sabi niya yun na daw yung papalit sa best friend ko na biglang hindi na pwede. Doon pa lang, super na-touch ako kase he’s doing this para lang for my debut. Hindi naman sa I’m getting my hopes up pero super na-touch talaga ako. And it made me wonder why. Bakit pa siya nageffort na maghanap ng guitarist pa when he can do it himself naman. At hindi naman masisira yung performance kung walang beatbox (kasi he was supposed to play that and my bestf was supposed to play the guitar). Super thankful ako nung sinabi niya yun. I told him he was the best, and he replied with “that’s what friends are for” PUTANGINUH BES HAHAHA MY HEART LAUGHED BUT CRIED SA SINABI NIYANG YON. Nasampal ako nung friend na word. Pero i laughed it off na lang kasi nga nagmomove on na ako.
Saturday came, 3pm dapat sila pupunta sa bahay to practice pero 4:30 ko na sila pinapunta. We started practicing 2 songs. Nung pinagbuksan ko sila ng gate, hindi naman ako nakafeel ng anything nung nakita ko siya. Normal lang talaga. Kaya nasa utak ko non, ah okay wala na to. Onti na lang move on na ko dito. Kasi I was comparing the feeling I got nung nakita ko siya last October. Sobrang lala non, wala pa siyang ginagawa, ni hindi pa nga siya tumitingin sakin pero the moment he came inside the room tumibok ng malakas puso ko tapos kabadong kabado ako. Pero this time as in wala nga. Smooth yung practice namin. There was a time na umalis si mama, kaming tatlo na lang yung nasa sala (ako, him, guitarist) Sabi niya “ikaw lang ba magisa dito?” sagot ko hindi kasi si ate nasa kwarto sa taas. Sagot niya “akala ko magisa ka lang, tatakutin sana kita) we were talking habang nagpprepare ako ng juice sa kitchen. Sabi ko “hindi ako matatakutin.” Nag-ahh lang siya non. Sabi ko pa, “sanay akong magisa” tapos napa-oohhh sila nung kasama niya hahaha.
They went home by 6 pero dapat 5:30 pa sila umalis nun. May training si Kyle sa dance chuchu nila. Sabi niya babalik daw siya. I asked him anong oras matatapos. Nung 9:15, I heard someone calling my name from outside. Lumabas ako and sinilip ko muna kung siya na ba. I saw him with his head down, naka-cap siya. Lol.
I wasnt expecting him to come back for real.
