i feel like this misses the most important part of hatoful boyfriend which is: that nanaki is a quail the bird there. is actually him. hato moa was kind enough to give us cute anime boy representations, but the characters in hatoful boyfriend are all birds (except the MC, who is a human girl). he's also a brilliant mathematical genius, but his narcolepsy makes him fall asleep mid-lecture... please vote for the sleepy birb! I’m not gonna say it’s not dangerous that the guy needs to be accompanied in the bathtub in order not to drown but he’s not wrong for wanting to just grow old and do nothing. Nobody here signed up to get birthed and carry responsibilities our entire lives. Like yes I’m gonna do this because it’s for my own good but it doesn’t mean I’m excited to do it. You don’t have to be either super excited to work to live your dream life or be depressed in bed 24/7. You can just wish you were instead a space object and do nothing but float and vibe and maybe move across space. I feel obligated to be happy and willing to do anything because one little thing in my life went okay while everything else was shit.
