Mostly, Natemac strikes me as just… a real fridge of a man, a two-hundred-pound slab of muscle with a crooked nose. (the nose is good)(love the nose). He’s almost entirely a creature of obsessive hyperfixation and complete bullheaded determination -- you can see this in even just the way he skates, which has a forward momentum to it that even faster skaters like McDavid can’t match. Moves like a train, no real control or delicacy but good god you better get out of the way.

A tangled mess of feelings and emotion that he’s super terrible at understanding, even if he has the good grace to know how bad he is at understanding those feelings, which actually does help quite a bit. If I were to guess, I’d sum up those feelings as “blinding rage,” “all-encompassing desire to win,” and “ferda.”

This sort of all-things-lead-to-either-W-or-L worldview leads him to develop a very black and white way of thinking… especially re food. im not gonna say he has an eating disorder but i very much have heard he thinks things like milk are poison so whatever his relationship with food is it’s certainly not healthy

i , as with … probably many of you, grew to know natemac during the iconique avs 2022 cup run, and esp since my leafs got eliminated early i got to watch a lot of it. Fav natemac moment is definitely the hat trick against the blues, topped off with the third goal, which was just a gorgeous end-to-end coasting that you could FEEL coming from a mile away. So that’s probably my fav natemac moment i am after all a simple hockey watcher sometimes

sidnate nate’s-a-penguin au mayhaps… actually no idea. 

i find nate just an absolutely fascinating character simply because of his tangled ball of Emotional Problems, but because he’s so single-minded in all of them it’s actually hard to maincharacterize. like he’s got nuance, he’s got flow, he just doesn’t have the dimension to carry out a story in which he is the main actor. Get that boy into an ensemble cast

I don’t know of enough opinion on natemac to know what’s popular and what’s unpopular… but i do not think he should be the avs captain in the future if/when landy gives it up. Imho that’s cale’s c to take (or mikko’s, even)… natemac is obviously a leader but he’s just too goddamn much of a control freak you can’t take this bitch anywhere. Thoughts on Eurovision 2022 that nobody asked for:

- Not a fan of the hosts. They're clumsy af, and while they may be cool individually, they made everything a bit awkward. Also tired of the exaggerated flirting. Also, Mika shouldn't be allowed to sing in a low register.

Onto the performances:

🇦🇱 Liked her energy, the beat was catchy, but it was a bit too racey for family TV ngl. Love the parts where she just yells aggressively. Would follow her to battle (ok, as a Serbian, not THAT battle (lol jk hope that stays in the past)) She may not have qualified, but she became a certified icon.

🇱🇻 Eh. Obviously I'm on board with the ICONIQUE moment that made history, but overall, the song wasn't that good, sorry not sorry.

🇱🇹 Monika my lovely! She's beauty and she's grace (and the good kind of crazy) and the song low-key slaps. Also she just did her thing and obviously lived in the moment, and was overall refreshing. Good for her.

ok i’m enjoying my trip down utada hikaru memory lane here are random thoughts and memories:

- they are an incredible songwriter truly and truly. writing and composing songs like they had been since they were 10!!!! amazing. doyoung and chaewon still singing that first single that 16 year old wrote 24 years ago to this day 🤧🤧🤧

- hikki thank you for always being up for writing the kingdom hearts themes - they wouldn’t be the games they were without them. i’m sure they got that disney money, but it still means a lot haha

- hikki also experienced that not publicly out lgbtq+ real human person is accused of queerbaiting thing on twitter that that heartstopper actor went through, but to a much lighter extent. so just a heads up the internet has been internetting since before 2020. sigh.

- aw i just looked back on it and she was so sweet about it lolllll

- but it’s cool how often they used lgbtq imagery and themes in their work - colors, kiss&cry, tomodachi, later nijikan ofc.

- i just loved their music video and fashion choices so much - and still do! they were so particular to them. so interesting!

- forever shout out to hikari’s music video - they said simple and clean and it’s literally just hikki washing dishes. i loved a slice of life even as a kid haha

- deep river/ultra blue/heart station back to back no skip albums, so iconique

A TOUTE B-ERZINGUE M-OTOREN W-ERKE !

Mon cher M-in-M m'a invité dans son humble demeure qui n'est autre qu'une chambre chez l'habitant. J'ai eu alors la chance de pouvoir rencontrer la propriétaire des lieux. Elle était très sympathique, et malgré les conditions hivernales, elle n'a pas voulu faillir et est restée une grande citoyenne, elle n'a donc pas allumé le chauffage. La sobriété énergétique avant tout !

Durant ce petit séjour à Munich, nous avons pu, comme de bons élèves, faire un tour au musée BMW. Ce fut un moment tout à fait charmant. Nous avons vu des modèles historiques et iconiques de la marque, ce qui était assez impressionnant à voir de nos propres yeux. J'ai notamment vu de près une petite M1 ma foi à l'allure fort sympathique. Après s'être baladés dans cet immense puit à trésors ( tel que Martin le premier homme moteur cf photo ), nous avons organisé une soirée, avec nos amis et collègues de Martin, a un bowling non loin d'ici. Mes compétences acquises dans le bowling d'Ingolstadt lors de ces parties endiablées m'ont permis de m'imposer lors de la première partie.

Juste après nous sommes partis manger dans un restaurant avec la ferme intention de nous détruire ce qui nous sert de panse et sommes rentrés respectivement chacun chez soi, sauf pour moi qui suivais de près mon a(l)cco(o)lyte.

Cette deuxième nuit fut on ne peut plus réparatrice car mon lit était terriblement confortable et proche du sol à deux doigts de me rappeler une séance de judo avec David Douillet.

Ce jour-là, nous nous sommes repartis pour aller voir toujours plus de véhicules motorisé en tout genre mais nous avons fait un bond dans le temps pour cette visite. En effet, nous sommes donc allés au BMW Welt où nous avons pu apprécier (ou non. Aucun commentaire. ) les derniers véhicules proposés par l'entreprise et ses partenaires.
