Voltage Chara Cafe Chibis 2024

Voltage once again claimed my heart by announcing the new merch for their upcoming character cafe. Weak as i am for chibis they just had to release animal hoodie acrylics of some of our best boys.

Kasumi tries to wriggle himself into my heart more and more by now also dressing up as a red panda! It almost feels like Kurosawa stole the penguin hoodie of him :D

Of course Tsugaru just had to have something bunny themed in the picture. Nomura has to watch out not to end up in Tsugaru's bunny merch collection at this point.

Kaga and Ishigami have their signature food and just had to have matching poses. Coincidence? xD

I wonder what the animals say about our characters. They are all so very adorable! It's difficult to decide!

Impulse shopping is a sport and if buying the first thing that reminds Yosuke of his wife whenever he sets his eyes on something impulse shopping, then Yosuke is a champion. There was no other way to justify the 300 squishmallows and plushies he bought simply because he thought that they looked like his adorable wife.

Yosuke, with the worker’s from the shop he practically emptied, could barely see what’s in front of them due to the gigantic pile of plushies in their arms as they manoeuvred through the mall to the parking lot. This was all part of Yosuke’s grand scheme for his wife’s perfect birthday.

He quickly rushed back into the mall after putting the other stuff in his car, to the jewellery store that had caught his eye when he was leaving. He was surfing through the various chains and bracelets but nothing appealed to him. He was just about to leave the store when his eyes landed on a pair of bracelets. It was a couple’s set and Yosuke was more or less convinced that this was meant for him and (Y/N). He quickly got it packed in their nicest packaging, exited the mall and sped away to complete the last of his preparations.

It was 10:00 am by the time Yosuke had gotten out of bed and proceeded to wake (Y/N) up too. He kissed her on the lips wishing her a happy birthday and to say he was overflowing with joy when he saw her smile would be an understatement. But this was just the beginning of his plans so he urged (Y/N) out of the bed and into the bathroom.

The minute she got out of the bath, Yosuke put a blindfold on (Y/N)’s eyes and led to her to the unused guest room in their home. When he undid the blindfold from her eyes and she took a good look at the room, (Y/N) started at at the humongous amount of plushies strewn all across the room. They were all of different sizes and colours, each dissimilar from the other. She turned her head towards Yosuke, jaw slack and eyes widened. This was a dream come true.

“Oh i’m not done yet.” Yosuke smirked and whisked her away out to the entrance.

They eventually set off in his car. (Y/N) kept asking him where they were going but Yosuke kept shushing her. Their playful banter kept the atmosphere lively and the two hours passed by quickly. They eventually reached the outskirts of the city to a cottage with a stream in view. The place looked warm and cozy, a serene place away from the prying eyes of the world.

Yosuke led (Y/N) in and she gaped at the skillfully assembled party decorations. The venue looked like it was for a massive party but it really was just the two of them and they wouldn’t have preferred it any other way.

“This is amazing, Yosuke. Thank you so much!’” (Y/N) turned towards Yosuke as he grabbed her hand and led her inside.

“You haven’t seen the best part yet.” He flashed a smile, settled her on the sofa and made his way to the kitchen. The sounds of kitchen utensils being put to work made it clear that he was cooking for them and (Y/N)’s heart overflowed with love for the man and the efforts he put into making her day better.

Fifteen minutes later, he emerged from the kitchen and once again, grabbed her hand and led her to the dining table.

The aroma of the assortment of side dishes and the steak enticed a grumble from their stomachs and (Y/N) had to ask him if he did all of this himself, to which he nodded. Her eyes visibly brightened when she tasted Yosuke’s cooking again and he melted at the sight. They relished in the pleasant atmosphere and appetising food and before long, the sky had turned orange.

“So, how would you rate my cooking this time?” Yosuke asked with bated breath, (Y/N) in his arms as they got comfortable on the couch.

“An 87/100?” (Y/N) grinned at Yosuke as he feigned mock offense.

“87?! But I put in so much love!” He huffed and buried his face in her hair causing (Y/N) to laugh heartily.

“You got a 70 last time! Fine, i’ll give you five extra points for that.” (Y/N) exclaimed and Yosuke instantly perked up, hugging her a little tighter.

“Did you practice?” (Y/N) asked and Yosuke hummed in response.

“I’ve been practicing to get the steak perfect for over two weeks now.” He replied. He was about to give her a quick kiss and remembered the gift he had gotten her so he quickly detangled their legs and rushed to the kitchen a second time leaving a confused (Y/N) behind.

Yosuke, with a party hat on his head and a cake in his hand, came out of the kitchen singing the birthday song. (Y/N) was beaming and Yosuke could not restrain himself from grabbing her face and kissing her adorable face right there. The cake was pink and had little red hearts on it. It was lovely, just like his wife.

(Y/N) cut the cake while they blew the candles out together. She could not ask for a more perfect day when Yosuke took the gift bag off his wrist and handed it to (Y/N), urging her to open it.

(Y/N) opened the velvet box and gazed at a pair of bracelets in absolute awe. They were platinum bracelets, with a star on one piece and a moon on the other. Yosuke took the star bracelet out of its box and put it on (Y/N)’s wrist. The star glimmered under the dim light of the living room. She was snapped out of her trance when Yosuke spoke up.

“They say the moon feels lonely without its stars.” He grabbed the moon bracelet and put it on his own wrist.

“A night sky is complete when the moon is surrounded by the stars.” He clasped her hands into his own ans gazed in her eyes. (Y/N) could see an emotion in Yosuke’s she couldn’t put a word on. This seriousness seemed out of character for Yosuke and she couldn’t help but tear up.

“You’re the radiant star that makes my starry sky complete, (Y/N). When you’re not around me, I feel lonely. The sense of wholeness when we’re together, when we’re one, is so overwhelmingly euphoric I fell in love with you all over again. Thank you for staying with me against all odds. Thank you for being born. Thank you, for brightening up my days and nights.” Tears were flowing down (Y/N)’s face at this point and Yosuke reached up to wipe them off.

“I love you, (Y/N). You complete me.” A dazzling smile erupted on his face as (Y/N) embraced him, whispering sweet words of adoration and affection for the man.

With their hearts content and bodies united, (Y/N) and Yosuke spent the after hours of her birthday tangled up with each other. They basked in each other’s presence, affirming their love once again.

HIS REACTION!

1. He will tease you and say "Now I gotta what?" He knows full well what the next words are, and he will not stop teasing you about it, not until you say the next words

I personally think that Fenn would be the biggest tease among everyone. He finds it so amusing that he'll laugh and he won't even try to hide it.

Roy and Jasper will feign cluelessness while teasing you into saying it

2. Much like number one but instead of waiting for you to say it, he will just kiss you and then say "If you wanted a kiss, all you had to do was ask" bro will be smirking at you

I put Eisuke in both numbers knowing that it is possible because I feel like he would do 1 and 2 in that order

Shinra, Kota, and Kiyohito might even blush about it, especially Shinra who would act cocky about it all the while he is blushing

You know Hiroki's princely-like pose where he raises his head with a subtle smirk, that's what he would look like while saying it

Okay, Kota is not the type to smirk but like do his expression where he puts his hand over his face and blush

3. He knows what the next words are, he is amused. He found it cute and kissed you

Chikage, SAMON, MAKOTO MORIMACHI, Ryo Chibana, Soryu Oh, HUEDHAUT, Dui, KARNO, Zyglavis, Taki Kozaki, Takao Maruyama, Kenshi Inagaki, Toa Qelsum, TINO VALENTINE, and Lou

Samon, Makoto, and Karno would probably even pat your head after giving you the kiss

You know the soft doting look that Makoto has, yes that's what he would look like

Tino might even blush about it and I think that he probably chose to stay quiet so as to not embarrass you any further because he is considerate like that

Huedhaut and Lou would definitely chuckle at your behavior

4. "Yeah? Now I gotta what?" He is genuinely clueless, so you gotta tell him and finish the sentence if you really want that kiss

Chikage, Yukinojo, Takamune Kitami, RIKU MORIMACHI, Takashi Ninagawa, Soryu Oh, Rhion Hatter, AIGONORUS, Yonghua, REN SHIBASAKI, LYNT AKEDIA, Toa Qelsum, and Grayson Hotz

Chikage, Soryu, and Toa are literally so similar because of how cool and distant they are. Moreover, knowing these three, I feel like they are in between 3 and 4 because those three are also like so smart, no shot, they are unaware, but they're quite dense sometimes so-

Riku, Aigonorus, and Lynt are quite the airheads so you literally have to spell it out to them, but I wouldn't put it past Riku to feign cluelessness just to tease you

In the case, that Soryu is in a good and he knows what the next words are but you aren't saying them then he will probably say, "You might wanna say it unless you want me to misunderstand and think I want to kill you." but we all know that he wouldn't do that because he even refuses to point a gun at a woman. He is respectful and principled like that

Nah cause even though half of these men are smart-asses, you sometimes just have to spell it out because of how absorbed they can get from their passions; like Takamune with soccer, Takashi with music, etc.

5. Another one who is genuinely clueless but will still kiss you nonetheless because they missed you too

Yukinojo, Rhion Hatter, KRIOFF, and RIO VOLERI

Okay, so I put Yukinojo here as well cause I really feel like he might be clueless but whether he'd push you to say it or not is something I'm not sure cause he does not seem to be the forceful type either and would be the type to think/reason "If you wanted to tell me, you would, but if you didn't then you must have your reasons".

For Rhion, same reason as Yukinojo, but I think he also leans more toward the curious type. Depending on the topic, he might press for answers, but he doesn't seem that pushy either.

Krioff is a gentleman, and I don't think he would push you to say it either unless he senses something amiss or bad about it.

Rio would definitely let out a hearty laugh since he sees you lightly blushing. He'll say, "Hahaha! Whatever that is, you're right, I missed you." or somewhere along those lines before kissing you.

6. "Ha? You're only saying that because you're the one who misses me." He missed you but won't admit it

RIN YAKUMO, TAKUTO HIRUKAWA, AND KNIGHT

Okay, hear me out, I put this specifically for them because of how Tsundere they can get. (Again, this is all according to what I've observed from them, and I haven't read Knight's route yet, but he literally gives me Tsun-Tsun vibes).

There is no way that those two are not blushing while or after saying that

Evolution of Otae vs. Gintoki x Sacchan part one

gintama has 704 chapters and one of the most memorable running gags is sacchan riling otae up over ginsacchan endgame. This is a 3 part post where I trace an aspect of otae and sarutobi’s friendship that’s both hilarious and fascinating to me.

L64 Otose Snack Bar

First meeting of Otae and Sarutobi. Otae says that Sacchan’s application/omiai picture is  cute. Otae, Sacchan and Catherine are all competing to be the replacement of Kagura, the show’s heroine. Sarutobi is already in love with Gintoki at this point and doesn’t suspect Otae yet of anything. Because GIntoki and Shinpachi couldn’t pick between them, both the ladies knock them out and proceed to walk into the moonlight.

It‘s the start of an interesting friendship.

L77 Infant Strife

Sarutobi immediately assumes that the child  between Gintoki and Otae was their offspring. She immediately attacks Otae and calls her “not a woman anymore but a mother.” Otae retaliates by saying that Sacchan is a “one woman opera a B-movie script and that the child isn’t hers.” Otae exclaims that “no one would want to have a baby with that Loser (Gintoki)” Otae tries to get Gintoki to clear things up but finds him trying to escape. Otae throws him into a river and calls him the kid “his bastard child” and gintoki “a pig”. She also tacks on that she will stop Shinpachi from working with Gintoki (for being a dishonorable guy).

Otae invites Sarutobi to just hang out with her instead. Also I think she clear things up that the kid is not hers.

I think Sarutobi’s thought process was

“Otae wants to be the show’s heroine (from L64) --> Gin-san is bringing a kid that looks exactly like him and Otae is beside him --> Otae is also my competition for heroine  --> heroine can also mean Gin-san’s woman --> Otae befriended me before but she actually wants Gin-san for herself --> to hell with you Otae, you conniving btch”

it’s a neat tie in to their last encounter XD

L98 Post-Benizakura Recuperation

Sarutobi stumbles upon one of the traps Otae set aside for Kondou. Sacchan thinks the traps are for her specifically and that Otae made them so that she will not bother GinTae.

Yamazaki then confirms to Kondou and Sacchan that Gintoki is temporarily staying in the Kodoukan dojo to heal from his injuries. Kondou complains that he can’t allow GinTae to live in one roof. Sarutobi encourages Kondou not to give up on stalking and says that even if she was happy for Gin-san fathering a kid (L77), she wont stop pursuing Gin-san either (coz she knows that otae wasnt the mom).

note: accdg to Word of God, Sarutobi starts to spy on the kodoukan dojo and otae after this

L103 Snowball fight

Sarutobi shows off her massive Gintoki snowman to Yorozuya. Gintoki is impressed by it. She demonstrates how it works by laying on the outstretched hands of the snowman. Because of her weight the arms break off causing Sachhan and her glasses fall. Blind as bat without glasses!Sacchan picks the broken arms and thrusts them accidentally at Otae who just arrived at the scene. The hands of the Gintoki snowman arms land on her chest. Otae gets pissed and her fist find Gintoki to send him flying.

Convenient for Otae to show up while Gin x Sacchan was happening lmao.

L128 Hostess Club / Shogun Introduction

Sarutobi picks the shogun stick of the shogun’s game. She immediately requests Gin-san to have sex with her. Otae smacks Sacchan with her foot because the latter was not playing by the rules.

note: in shogun/kings game you’re supposed to say “number xxx i order you to [smth smth]”, the fun in the game is that you dont know who’s holding which number. the shogun just kept getting the numbers that were ordered to do the tasks.

L138 Group Date

Kondou gets kicked by Otae to the ceiling after he showed up and objected to Gintoki’s planned Goukon. Sarutobi was lurking in the space between ceiling and roof, spying on Otae (or maybe following Shinpachi, idk)

This is the first  instance we see Sarutobi stalking/spying on Otae. Because both stalkers were already aware of the Goukon, they invite themselves to the party. Gintoki kicks Kondou because he didnt want to include the stalkers in the first place.

L156 Weight Loss Arc

Sarutobi pops out of Otae’s ceiling when she overhears Kagura and Otae’s conversation. She insinuates that GIn-san’s back will break if he carries Kagura or Otae like a princess (most likely this jibe was directed at Otae again). Sacchan falls from the ceiling too because she’s overweight.

Otae: hey don’t destroy my house

--> it’s  like the house is punishing sacchan for assuming about gintae again.

at the fasting dojo otae rags on sacchan to leave the dojo if she’s just gonna keep eating. Sarutobi responds by telling Otae that unlike Otae, she isn’t actually fat and in fact she’s carrying Gintoki’s baby. Otae responds by kicking her in the stomach “Congratulations you just give birth to puke.”

In infant strife arc, we remember that Sarutobi mocked Otae for  “not being a woman anymore and downgrading into a mother, taking herself out of the competition.” While in Weight Loss Arc she proudly she says she’s pregnant and soon to be mother of Gintoki’s child lololol

OVERALL NOTES:

there’s a continuous back and forth of riling up between the two. It usually starts with Sarutobi insulting Otae and telling her that she’ll end up with Gintoki. Otae never responds kindly to insults and people calling her names so she retaliates at Sarutobi with violence.

When are we getting Nomura’s 24 hours on L365??????

I know that I had a mini-vent on the L365 subreddit after the release of the Deciding the Winner VIP Room, but they mentioned that Nomura was a newlywed.

SO WHY HAVEN’T THEY RELEASED HIS 24 HOURS AND COUNTING?!?!?!

This is absolutely ridiculous as this is the longest (at least for the titles I follow) for a translation.

His story has been out in Japan for pretty damn close to a year, if memory serves right. But it feels like an eternity. Every other guy has their story out besides him.

And on top of this travesty, they seem to be prioritizing all the stupid ass Love Choice stories.

Finish these other stories first! Like what about Bundle of Joy stories for the rest of the guys with My Sweet Bodyguard???

Oh, and if anyone has screenshots and a translation of Nomura’s story since Voltage is dragging their feet, I’d really appreciate it :) Or at the very least the wedding

Tsugaru the model

I know the illustration has been out for a while, but it's funny to me how they gave him model shots twice.

Also is it just me or is this like he's cosplaying Ryuzaki Masaharu? xD I mean he's also good at sniping so it would be fun if they were to meet!

But why should they not give us Model Tsugaru, after all he won the JP elections this year as well. It's fascinating how popular he is there while many do not know him in the global version!

A principio não é um defeito físico na impressora e sim apenas um manutenção que você deve fazer periodicamente, então salva esse vídeo para lembrar beleza?!

Fiz o procedimento com a Epson L355, mas você pode usar em diversos modelos, até mesmo de outras marcas! (desde que o fabricante disponibilize a opção no painel da impressora!)
