hey, y'all, i'm dealing with what my oncologist is fairly confident calling stage 1 endometrial cancer. i haven't had my surgery yet, and there are already bills coming in from the multiple procedures i've already had to deal with, so if you feel slightly compelled to pad my shoestring budget for this nightmare: cashapp/venmo are @irishais, kofi is here.

Studying chemistry gives you some weird quirks like suddenly you realize your favorite SDSs are the Sigma Aldrich ones while the Fisher Scientific ones are mostly garbage for example and you just have to live with that

I think doing a mystery for Cellbit to solve is part of his love language, if you're really cellbo's friend you are going to prepare a puzzle for him at some point ☝️

The Dreaded Dean of L&L wants a quote from me about my undergrad English degree about my time in the program and if I felt it prepared me for the future, because they're working on their five-year program review.
I'm going to have to explain to this woman that I graduated from the undergrad program literally a decade ago and there have been significant changes in how they do things since then. If that's still applicable anyway, sure, I can rack my brain for a quote, but I'm not sure how applicable my experience is to what's gone on for the past five years.
