I think personal labels can be useful for “there’s a word for it”, “I’m not alone”, and “oh neat, I know what to put in a search engine now” reasons, but I also think they can be troublesome.
Plenty of people won’t fit 100% neatly into a label, and when they encounter a rare exception to what is otherwise an accurate label for them, it can feel like an identity crisis.
The labels aren’t literally what you are. They’re words. They’re meant to assist communication and organization, not to control you.

Frankly, if I'm the odd one in a group I'd rather be mislabelled than singled out. "All right, ladies – oh, and Dave" like, don't put me on the spot like that. For the purpose of this exercise I will answer to "ladies".

Labels listed in these options are meant as examples, not a comprehensive list. Please choose the answer that you feel best fits you, and feel free to elaborate in the tags.

Six notebook stickers by Spindex corp, produced in 1982. They are made as labels, and most contain lines labelled Name and Address.
(Description under Read more)
From the top, the first is in the shape of a pencil, the lines for name and address in the yellow center acting as the corners of the implied hexagonal shape.
Second, a yellow spiky shape warns: "TOUCH THIS AND YOU WILL SELF DESTRUCT IN 30 SECONDS" with the label beneath.
Third, A rainbow with a golden star in the center has a golden framed box beneath to input your own text.
Fourth, a red clockwork rollerskate travels to the right with the speed lines behind it crossing a dark blue back ground. The purple frame curves in on the top right coner to match the shape of the rollerskate. The label is below.
Fifth, a black handled paintbrush makes an oval trail of rainbow paint.
Sixth, a green frame has the label at the top, and the top third of the globe in the bottom right corner, a space ship flies on top, above the frame.

It's ok to identify one way and then realize later on that things have changed. Orientation isn't necessarily set in stone. Labels are helpful when they're helpful to you, so don't feel like you are forced to use one forever if it doesn't fit!

Labels do not have to be permanent. People who identified with hundreds of labels before finding one that fits them are super valid. People who identify with labels they aren’t sure fit because it’s the best they have right now are super valid. Identity can change and it can be hard and confusing to figure out, but no one should feel like they can’t claim a label that makes them feel happy and seen because it might change later, or like they can’t discard one that no longer fits. Labels are there to make you comfortable. As long as you’re being respectful, there are no rules.

Read options carefully:
I do not like queer for myself / I don't identify with it. When people refer to the queer community I feel they are referring to me and I am uncomfortable with it :'(

I am comfortable with both queer and the various initialisms

There's no need to ask permission or reach consensus with an arbitrary group of people in order to identify as nonbinary.
Claiming the nonbinary label is something that you do for yourself.
Ask yourself if it applies, because only your opinion matters.
