Amethyst deceiver (Laccaria amethystina)
Just gorgeous.
CORRECTION: This is a wood blewit (Lepista nuda) which I didn’t look at nearly carefully enough before posting, because they’re easy to tell apart if you do! Amythest decievers have decurrent gills (they run down the stipe), whereas blewits have sinuate gills (they attach near the top of the stipe, very slightly curving down it).

Laccaria amethyst-occidentalis (Amethyst Deceiver) from right before the pandemic started in 2020. This was actually the last camping trip I've taken so I hope I can do more camping in the near future
