I completely missed how much of Lad Cecilys storyline they already use for Tewksbury in movie 1

It is actually not Tewksbury who nearly dies, it is Lady Cecily. Enola is not bending down, hugging and crying out Tewksburys name, it is Lady Cecily.

Gives me not much hope for lady Cecily in movie 2…

Enola Holmes

Having now read a few of the books... Enola's clearly in love with her left handed lady, right? She's constantly thinking about her. Constantly. (She's clearly in love with Tewksbury in the movies, but in the books, she's absolutely focused on Cecily, even when the girl isn't in the book.)

I find it odd that Springer has done the old "we don't know" song and dance. We're not in the 1800s, it's not that scandalous, is it? (Heck, one could go with she's bi to keep the Tewskbury stuff if one wanted.)

Here's hoping for a proper Lady Cecily in the third movie.

Cecily x Enola (because im still saddened about holmesbury being canon)

It had been months since they've confessed their feelings for each other. They've kissed. They've accepted they liked each other and dated. It was a wondrous and a comfortable relationship. Tewkesbury was... the best man she could ever have. He treated her with care, he loved her so much. Yet, why... why did his embrace, his kisses felt like nothing to Enola. Didn't she love him? Why can't she feel the burst of emotion whenever he passed by? Why can't she feel the butterflies whenever she sees her lover? Why does she not feel it with Tewkesbury but instead with Lady Cecily? Why her?

Such thoughts filled Enola, leaving her lay awake at night. She can never forget how gorgeous Lady Cecily's eyes were... the way they shined. Her eyes were comparable to that of the ocean, it was so deep yet so beautiful. Just by looking at it, oh, how you easily would get intrigued.

Enola snapped back from reality, realising what she had been thinking for quite some time. She wonders why there's always this warm feeling whenever she thinks of her. Must she be inlove with her? 'No. No way. But, I like Tewkesbury... right?' Enola wonders.

She tirelessly shuts her eyes, for her to then rake her fingers on her face. She sighs.

I think the fact Kit isn’t the protagonist makes his existence in The Dark Artifaces way funnier. Like he’s just some guy having a really weird time in the background.

Here are my first fabric finds!

This exquisite cream satin with woven roses will be paired with pink and will be Cecily's dress! I'm planning a tiered skirt and huge puffy upper sleeves made with all 6 yards of this material. The bodice might have to be plain white fabric with a cream lace overlay. We'll see.

This periwinkle skirt will be Gwendolyn's base skirt. It's too small for my actress and not full enough in the back, so this will just show in the center front. I'll find a fashion plate to base this on, promise.

This pink material will become Algernon's vest in the second act. His suit is a resplendent goldish-tan with a pink pinstripe; thus, the pink vest to coordinate with Cecily's cream-pink dress.

Finally, this lovely turquoise satin will become Lady Bracknell's second dress! I'm envisioning gold trim everywhere....
