During my mini hiatus I fulfilled my dream of visiting Norway! The most surprising thing was hearing Lithuanian being spoken literally everywhere. My mum and I always speak Lithuanian to each other, so it was incredibly bizarre for people to overhear us and then come speak with us, or to have waiters/shopkeepers switch from English to Lithuanian. I’ve never experienced anything like it before, and I had no idea so many Lithuanians live in Norway! I absolutely ADORED this, it made all the places we visited instantly feel like home. Despite all that, I learned a bit of Norwegian and discovered that it’s literally the cutest language. Language learning is absolutely wonderful

#But fr it made me so happy 🥺 I rarely ever get to use my lithuanian so this was such a pleasant surprise!! #When we arrived in Oslo we sat down at a restaurant and were discussing how ridiculously expensive everything was - #- and then the waitress came over and asked (in lithuanian) if we were ready to order 💀💀💀💀 #We were struggling to find our hotel and we asked two ladies on a bench who were speaking lithuanian where we could find it !! #At a food festival in Bergen there was a stand for lithuanian chocolate so we were tasting there and had so many Lithuanians come and chat #And soooo many more instances like this !! #Imagine spending 99% of your time not speaking a language outside of the country / without your family #and then all of a sudden everyone speaks this language in the least expected place. Petunia's coat seems like it's getting less greasy in the last few photos! If so, is it because she's allowing pets now? I've noticed with taming ferals that petting improves coat quality - a form of grooming, I suppose.

It’s still very greasy to the touch tbh but I would say it’s a tiny bit better than usual? That being said she’s pretty clumpy rn. In the past I’ve brought her to the clinic and we’ve sedated her to get brushed out. Then when she got a little more tame I was able to brush her out at the clinic without her being sedated bc she did the “if I don’t move nobody will hurt me” thing.

Now it’s been a couple months since she got any brushing because I’ve been doing her nail trims at home with help from my mom. So she is pretty clumpy above her tail :|

I brushed one of them out earlier today and she wanted to bite me soooooo bad but she resisted. I showed her the clump afterwards so she’d understand why I was torturing her. She looked disgusted

Today we are devastated. Both my betrothed and I are just having too much of an allergic reaction to Wyvern to keep him. Neither of us have been allergic to dogs before and we thought his kennel miasma was the problem. Even after a bath and hardcore cleaning bouts our throats are both swelling up around him several days later. Even if we get allergy shots it could be months to see relief and we can’t go on like this.

We both just wanted a buddy, and he’s gonna be such a good dog, but he can’t be our dog. My betrothed is gonna call out tomorrow so we have a full day together with him before we have to surrender him on Tuesday. We wanted to look for his new home ourselves but the shelter wanted him back. I know he’ll probably be there like a day before he gets snapped up, he’s so precious.

We had a week with him and there was ups and downs but god we fell in love. We left him with better manners than we found him. He gave me such a gift in recognizing that I can do a lot more than I thought I was capable of. I know he’ll find a good home but god I wish it were ours.

This is Alastor's human design! I wanted him to give off a old money rich vibe. I didn't look up a reference for old money attire 😭 i jjst looked at some randim char from a show i watched that kinda gave off Alastor vibes. This may change but tbh I kinda like it the way it is. Alastor taught the kids young how to summon demons the WRONG way. Because obviously he didn't want literal immature kids to end the world completely. The trio spent years finding ways to summon just one demon. Adam did it to create chaos, Lute just followed, and Valerie just loved having fun with her friends.

Now that they aren't childhood best friends. And that whole fight happened. Valerie doesn't know what to do. Alastor suggests she gets a bodyguard from hell, any demon at all(Demons are devoted to you as long as you keep a part of your deal with them or you break the contract of summoning one). Aaaaand that's how Charlie came to be summoned! Valerie got her eye stabbed out, Alastor was being silly and taught his kid how to summon a demon, Valerie was like "aight ig", then summoned her future wife.

Fun fact: Alastor has a radio station of his own that he plays 1920's music in. Although most people would rather NOT listen to old times music, somehow he makes it work that people always listen to his radio. Maybe a deal with a demon of some sorts...? Perhaps... :>
