mmm let's go over those i played shall we:

ds1: ehh i dont know? manus and artorias as two of the most challenging bosses with faster combat and a level of challenge that isn't "run in circles or/and sidestep to one side". idk the third one is sif.

ds2: burnt ivory king and sir alonne oooo man these two are beautiful and i cant put one lower than another. ill say they're Not So Hard, but still moderately challenging and definitely winning in ways of aesthetics. other two gotta be velstadt and... okay yeah the unpopular opinion galore but the gank trio is fun.

ds3: the dancer, you damn well know why. pontiff actually fucks and i love his theme. mmh and who else... damn i really wanna say midir. so midir it is.

bloodborne: hhoo mama my introductory game has all of the bosses. Ludwig is very nice and the reason I do the dlc stupidly early. lady maria is fun to fight. from the base game... you know what i gotta go with gascoigne. he is perfect as an introductory boss. and his coat is immaculate with that black and silver.

elden ring: ...i don't actually like anyone that much? some well known repeats aside, they just aren't fun. honorable mention of placidusax, maliketh and malenia tho. i don't love them but they're very intense and i like doing their fights on different builds.

about loki’s sleeves

i read a post about how uncomfortable loki looks in the trailer when he is wearing (forced to wear?) a t-shirt that reveals his arms:

and it got me thinking: why is loki so attached to his sleeves? he wears them all the time. before the trailer, we have never seen him in anything sleeveless or short-sleeved.

even in solitary confinement in prison, where no one can see him, his arms are covered:

it can’t be asgardian norms, because we see thor (and sif) in sleeveless clothes:

and, so far, i have found two possible reasons:

1. loki has been punished by odin, thor or frigga every time he showed emotions of any form of vulnerability that wasn’t useful to them. i think that, as a result of that, loki hates being vulnerable in any way, and for him that includes showing his body. we know how important clothing/style is to loki (judging from his outfits/theme colours and the suit he wore on earth in ragnarok), so it would make sense that his clothes are a way of indirectly expressing how he feels.

2. in the thor films (and in pre-canon), basically everyone bullies loki. most of them, including thor, bully him for being a sorcerer, specifically about his lack of muscles/brute strength (by asgardian standards anyway), even though his magic makes him much stronger. so, after a lifetime of being bullied for “doing tricks, not battle”, loki probably became insecure and hid his “skinny” arms to avoid further mockery.

whatever the case, it probably has to do with protecting/shielding himself from the asgardians’ abuse
