First boat day was July 10! (Way too late in my opinion!) And it was a gorgeous day for it! Almost no wind and so muggy the water felt great. As you can see, Murph was very much a part of things. He just loves the lake so much and is never more well behaved than when he is on the boat. I actually managed to swim quite a bit - it was almost like physical therapy for me. And I could kneel on the SUP board, not quite recovered enough to stand yet. The day after my incisions were very sore but not in a bad way. We are never more happy or at peace than when we are on the lake. It’s just a healing place. Our first day of fall was kicked off by our last boat day because it was sooo warm! 85+ degrees - how could we stay away? We launched from Wolf Creek for the first time which was fun, and we generally admired the gorgeous fall scenery around us! Plus, we finally remembered to bring the ipod. We listened to Jimmy Buffett and The News from Lake Wobegone and generally felt nostalgic and basked in the sun. Husband and Murph got out there on the SUP board and so did dad! I did for a bit as well. We also boated past a float plane so that was cool!
