For those of you that know me on Twitter, I'm Katie (LaKoda0518) and I have been extremely MIA in my social media presence as I have been in the process of leaving my abuser and starting my life over. Everything has been going well until the abuser in question stopped communicating and cooperating with me to finalize all of the financial support that he owes me. As it stands, he is getting away without paying child support and without paying any of the other financial obligations he will be required to make. As much as I hate to do this, I am being forced to take drastic measures and will have to hire an attorney in order to progress any further for the sake and care of my five year old... Any little bit helps, even if it's just a share. ❤️ Thank you all for your time and care ❤️

Most popular multi-chapter: To Be Human (nearly 12,000 hits 😱)

Fic you were nervous to post: Communication, because it is my most authentically angsty fic. It's got a realistic happy ending but it's far from fluffy. Octopus, because it's a Johnlock story about love and octopuses and I thought it would be too weird for people 😂

How do you choose your titles? Hmm. Some are song lyrics, but most are just one word descriptions of what the main theme of the fic is.

Do you outline? Yes! I have all my fics plotted out advance in bullet-point form. Sometimes I move stuff around or completely change something, but I like to know where the fic is going.

Complete: Right now I've got 27 completed works (including multi-chapter fics, one-shots, podfics, collections - one of these has 30 one-shots so should it all count as 57??) and 3 WIPs.

In progress: Domestic Matters, an AU where Sherlock is a house elf (think a version of 'The Elves and the Shoemaker'), though everything else is the same. A Bit... You Know, in which John and Sherlock meet some LGBTQIA+ people who live loud abd proud, and how that affects them. Forward Momentum, my most subscribed fic set shortly after the end of season 4, dealing with the fallout in the Holmes family of Sherlock realizing they all lied to him.

Coming but not soon: A BUNCH! The sequel to To Be Human (title, 'Almost Unreal'), a thriller set in a creepy hospital (title, 'Breathe'), an AU in which Sherlock is a Banshee (title, 'Don't Listen to Me'), plus LOADS of podfics and artwork,

Ahhh okay, so I was initially going to tack this onto another person’s ask because I usually combine the First Kiss and First Time fics together, but then I realized that First Kiss can happen without the First Time, and I’m sorta dumb, so FOR THIS LIST, it’s gonna be mostly fics ONLY TAGGED First Kiss (I usually go “first kiss/time” if both are in the fic), so this is pretty much a T-Rated list, hee hee. Heya! I'm wondering if anyone would be open to beta a few fics in the works?
