I have matched some random questions from that OC ask list to some random characters and here are the most relevant/interesting ones!

6. How much thought does your oc put into what they wear/look like? Any reason why?

Ash only wears clothes that are 1) comfortable and 2) unremarkable, in classic colors like blue (lots of blue), grey or dark green. His main objective is to go unnoticed as he hates being the center of attention. He often wears an additional layer, like a sweater, because he’s sensitive to the cold. He’s aware that he is not stylish and he does not care at all.

14. What is your oc’s speech like? How loud are they usually? Do they have an accent or a stutter?

Gloria has a very soothing voice and an articulate and quiet way of speaking. She is definitely not loud, but she speaks with confidence. In fact, she should make ASMR videos!

22. How easily does your oc fare in the sun? Do they tan or burn easily? Are they completely unaffected?

Ulrich’s skin is a Type I (always burns, does not tan). He hates hot days and summer in general because he has to wear sunscreen. Which he doesn’t bother to do. So he gets sunburn. Go figure. He kind of fixed the problem by wearing pants and long sleeves, even during heatwaves but... yeah. Not ideal.

40. What languages does your oc know? Are there any they want to learn but haven’t had the chance to? How good are they at picking up new ones? 

Ulrich’s mother tongue is Danish, and he picked up English pretty easily from listening to music (and then moving out of his country of course). He also speaks decent German because his father (who’s German) insisted he learned. Uli is actually good at languages. He’s got perfect pitch, that helps.

27. What is your oc’s sleep schedule like? Are they a night owl, an early morning riser, or do they get any sleep at all?

Unlike his son Erik, whose sleep schedule is completely fucked up, Seth goes to bed whenever he feels tired. He does not need to sleep long (5-6 hours are more than enough for him) but he sleeps like a log. So typically, he would come home super late at night, go to bed immediately for a few hours and feel refreshed by 8am. Lucky man.

28. How organized is your oc? How important is organization to your oc? 

Organization is super important to Laurie, he’s a bit fastidious. The only moment in his life when he cut himself some slack was when he went into hiding and lived on his own for some time. The mess in that old house somehow reflected the mess in Laurie’s head. Aside from that specific moment when he was a bit lost, being extremely well-organized, both in his work and in his private life, is second nature to him.

93. What is your oc’s preferred learning style? Observation, hands-on, instruction? Do they take notes or memorize? 

Laurie always tries to understand all aspects of a subject, dig deeper into it and make it his own. He prefers a visual support: written words, graphics, codes, etc. He's very quick on the uptake and able to process and memorize a lot of information in a short amount of time. When he’s 'in the zone’, he can teach himself anything and absorbs knowledge like a sponge.

33. What five objects or things could be expected to be found on your oc’s person at any time? Why?

For Erik:

His father’s necklace

His father’s sunglasses

A cigarette butt

A gun and/or an army knife

Lots of body hair

71. What is your oc’s go-to for offense? What weapon, what style of fighting? Or are words more their weapon of choice?

Erik’s weapon of choice will always be his fists. No risk of losing them. :D He’s generally good with firearms but he very much prefers hand-to-hand combat. That is, unless you count swearing as a weapon.

50. How attentive is your oc? How perceptive are they? How easily do they get distracted?

Omar is preternaturally observant and focused. That is why he’s such an excellent bodyguard and part of why Al-Saud keeps him in that position.

53. If your oc was to host a podcast or TV show, what would it be about? Would your oc actually be good at it? What sorts of guests would appear?

Omg, when I saw that question, I knew I had to answer it for Tim. He’d make a great podcast host! He’s naturally friendly and easily makes people to open up. And he’s genuinely interested in what they have to say. He’s got a huge number of contacts from all horizons, he’d have no problem finding guests. And he’s a social media addict: you may remember that his blog actually contributed to his band’s success? To this day, he’s still very much active on social media.

72. What is your oc’s ideal environment like? Urban or natural? Fancy or rustic? What’s the weather like?

Ivy is a desert girl and has always had a hard time adapting to colder weather. Rainy days make her grumpy. Ideally, she would have loved to go back to Lucky Palms. She’s an urban girl, she enjoys the city bustle and the comfort of city life but... preferably in hot weather.

77. Does your oc like to wear any particular accessories? Hats, jewelry, scarves, etc.?

Noah only wears relatively discreet black earrings, one on each ear. He’d got his ears pierced when he was a teen, and had a vague notion to get more, like a midline tongue piercing (he must have heard that it enhanced kissing and oral sex). A tattoo was also in the plans at some point (that was his romantic phase as it was a way to get Emily’s attention). But he simply didn’t have the money at the time, and then that whim passed. But he kept wearing the earrings, even after he started his professional life, because if it can annoy or unsettle people, he will do it.

80. What is your oc’s handwriting like? How easy to read is it? Can they write/read cursive?

Tristan learned how to read and write at the beginning of the 15th century so of course, he’s a wee bit influenced by the medieval cursive. His handwriting is a slightly more modern version of the below:

I hope this is okay to vent here but I hate the discussion around the oscar noms right now. Ww are crying and pissing and shitting abiut Margot not getting an oscar, but America Ferrera DID get nominated. Hell, even Lily Gladstone got nominated (who im actively rooting for) but its not a white fave so who cares right? /s

So my thing with oscars (beyond the anti blackness that very few Black actors get nominated or win when they deserve it ex Denzel and Angela) is that comedies are not the way to get a lead actor nom.

THAT SAID... my sister reminded me that Emma Stone won a lead oscar for lala land which is definitely a comedy/musical/drama.

But like... ok... I know I SHOULD be glad for America Ferrera because I've been a fan of hers since Real WOmen have curves... but like I don't think she should get it for Barbie? Especially with that shitty line that her character had about Barbieland being like the indigenous population of the new world and getting infected easily by the European diseases. WHich is some white feminist bullshit because the Europeans had a history of distributing disease ridden blankets to the indigenous people of the Americas. What's more there's a history of diseases being used like that in Europe going back to the Black plague where they'd through corpses over the walls of cities to infect them with the plague.

I'm sorry you didn't ask for this rant and its just me going off on a tangent but I'm gonna be really fucking sick to my stomach if America Ferrera gets the oscar over Danielle Brooks or Da'vine Joy Randolph.

It's just a shit show all around tbh but of course ytwomen are being characteristically selfish and only centering Margot when like last year JLC won over 2 women of color.

Okay, I finally decided to get all my thoughts about 2015 RTC (14/02/2015) into a sort of comprehensive, semi chronological list.

. We already had a Tragic Fact recording, but it's nice to have options. Also they REALLY want you to know they'll be damned if they're working at the mall

. I love Sarah Jane Peltzer's voice

. U.R.A.N.I.U.M is nice, but, God it's hard to hear the lyrics

. According to Kholby, Noel canonically would've written "bisexual werewolf stories", and I just think Noel's terrible writing should be focused on more in fanworks

. Noel's Lament is essentially the same, but it was the version where Monique has a kid. I get why they cut it

. Ocean's dad being left-wing and her mum being right-wing makes for a really interesting conflict, and contextualises "Some of us are left-wing, some of us are right wing..."

. The full version of Play To Win is so different to how imagined it. (And pretty ableist, so yikes) Very catchy though. And I love Rielle Braid.

. Tbh I understand why the crowd loved Play To Win so much.

. As an avid Ocean fan, I really enjoy Brooke Maxwell's whole speech about her character.

HEAR ME OUT!!!! while I was listening to The story of the phantom from goosebumps the musical for the 100th time, I just realized that the story reminds me of evajacks, more or less. (the love story gives somewhat similar vibes) I feel like the song would fit this casting of the song: brooke - LaLa zeke - Castor esmeralda - Evangeline the phantom - Jacks raul - Apollo carlo - Maximillian Fox (Evangeline's father) The story of the phantom is a song that includes brooke telling zeke about a play they are doing as the main leads. (there are parts of the song where brooke keeps getting annoyed by zeke, so I thought that LaLa and Castor would fit them perfectly) explanation on the characters of the song: - the storyteller, brooke is the one who explains the basic plot of the story to her brother, zeke, since the both of them are playing esmeralda and the phantom in their school play - the listener, zeke is the one who has to pay attentin to brooke as she explains the story to him. during the song, he annoys her a bit - the female lead, esmeralda is a talented opera singer who catches the phantom's attention with her voice and becomes his muse - the male lead, the phantom is a musical prodigy with a *curse*(a hideous face) who lives below the theater - the second lead, Raul is a guy who is in love with esmeralda, and was mad that she fell in love with someone like the phantom, so Raul fought and killed him but lost esmeralda in the process as she ran away, never to be seen again - Carlo, is esmeralda's father who owns the theater where the story takes place

Today in Rock and Roll History - November 3, 1962

A song called "He's A Rebel" topped the Billboard Hot 100, credited to The Crystals. In reality, the song was recorded by a trio known as The Blossoms, featuring lead singer Darlene Love. Phil Spector had hastily put the song together while The Crystals were out of town and put their name on the label because they had already had two top twenty hits with "There's No Other" and "Uptown".

Gene Pitney wrote "He's a Rebel" for The Shirelles, but they declined. Spector learned Vikki Carr was to record it for Liberty Records as her debut, and wanted his own version on sale first. The Crystals were touring on the east coast of the US at the time, so Spector had The Blossoms, a Los Angeles group, record the track with the agreement that the record would still be credited to the Crystals. Mary Thomas of the Crystals recalled that "our mouths fell open" when she and her groupmates heard a disc jockey announce "the new Crystals song." The quintet was then obliged to add "He's a Rebel" to their live repertoire, even though lead singer Barbara Alston could not mimic Blossoms lead singer Darlene Love. For that reason, 15-year-old Dolores "LaLa" Brooks became the lead singer the following year with the follow-up "Then He Kissed Me".

"He's a Rebel" was released in late August 1962, with the B-side "I Love You Eddie." On November 3, "He's a Rebel" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The number two song was Pitney's "Only Love Can Break a Heart", giving him (as a songwriter or performer) the two top-selling singles in the U.S. In the United Kingdom, "He's a Rebel" peaked at No. 19.

The song and its recording was featured in a fictionalized recreation in the 2018 movie Bad Times at the El Royale. The character of Darleen Sweet was based on singer Darlene Love and the character Buddy Sunday was meant to represent producer Phil Spector.

When Isla beings dating Dae full time, I can see it putting a strain on their relationship only slightly. Isla is scared that Brooklyn won’t spend time with her as much as she used too. Brooklyn is her definite rock.

Plus Brooklyn wanted to tell her officially that she was pregnant. The last thing Isla heard was that she could be.

So Brook and her went out to eat and Dae met them there. He kissed Brooklyn and held his hand out to Isla.

“Isla!” Dae smiled. “How was your photography assignment?”

Isla smiled. “Amazing! I’m up for a award for my latest set.”

“Outstanding as normal. Shall we?” Dae said holding the door open for the girls. “Junghyun is here holding our table.”

They enter the kbbq restaurant and Junghyun waves them over.

“Hi guys…” Junghyun said smiling and holding out a chair for Isla to sit.

She looked at him and gave him a small smile. Lowkey Junghyun has been crushing on Isla for a hot minute. She was soooo oblivious to him but he was determined. Daesung smirked at a love sick Junghyun as he held the chair out for Brooklyn.

The server came and they ordered their meats and received their sides. Isla was quiet as they ate and Brooklyn frowned.

“LaLa…you okay?” Brooklyn whispered as the boys were laughing at something. “You’re quiet and this isn’t normal for you…”

Isla nodded. “Yeah..”

Brooklyn smiled and reached into her bag and pulled out a box before heading it to Isla. She opened it in her lap and pulled out a sonogram and a onesie that said:

“Would you be my baby’s godmother? TiTi LaLa?”

Isla looked up with tears in her eyes. “You’re really pregnant? You finally got caught up?”

Brooklyn stuck her tongue out at her best friend but nodded. “Besides Dae and Kenny unnie…you’re one of the first to know.”

“I would love too..” Isla whispered and squeezes Brooklyn’s hand. “I don’t want kids but I’ll treat this baby as my own..”

Brook smiled showing her dimples. “And don’t worry about Daesung getting between us. He could never and I would never let him do that. You’re my girl Isla. You’re mine forever. Always..” she whispered to calm Isla’s fears. “It’s you and me along with this little one forever…”

“You’re mine too Brookie…” she smiled back and snuggled to her Unnie best friend. “Forever..”

Bravo’s hit reality show “Vanderpump Rules” has been involved in scandal after scandal, but none more serious than the explosive allegations against movie mogul Randall Emmett, who rose to fame on the heels of his engagement to Bravo megastar Lala Kent. ABC News Studios and LA Times Studios present “The Randall Scandal: Love, Loathing, and Vanderpump,” an investigation into many of the shocking claims against Emmett, which include allegations of race discrimination, workplace abuse, and questionable on-set behavior towards actor Bruce Willis as his mental acuity declined ― all of which Emmett denies. The 90-minute documentary features special access to interview footage of Kent, who opens up about her tumultuous relationship with Emmett and how she learned about the accusations against her ex-fiancé. “The Randall Scandal: Love, Loathing, and Vanderpump” also includes exclusive interviews with those closest to Kent, including Lisa and Easton Burningham, her mother and brother, who describe alarming, never-before-told claims of Emmett’s alleged mistreatment towards Kent, exclusively recount what they regard as Emmett’s disturbing behavior when Kent gave birth to their daughter, and Kent’s escape from their shared home.

Additional exclusive interviews include Felix Pire, Emmett’s high school friend; Brett Pearson, Martin G’Blae and Anna Szymanska, Emmett’s former assistants who claim the filmmaker subjected them to verbal abuse and workplace harassment; Teresa Huang, a TV writer; Leila Azari, a lawyer for Writers Guild of America West and more. Additional interviews include L.A.
