A cluster of gray-haired addigems, heheh.

Here we have Moissanite, a staunch patrolwoman, a perfectionist, but very kind by nature.

White topaz, with a difficult long past, used to be the partner of the Imperial Topaz, but then they were re-formed into a pair with Moissanite. They are mute, speaks with gestures, but this does not prevent they from being loved by the rest of the addigems.

Phenakite is a young patrolman (he is literally 32 years old). He is slightly lower than the average height of the other addigems. He is very playful and hyperactive, while he likes to study fossils.

Pollucite are a quiet and sluggish librarian who have hidden a second blade behind their back. Datolit's partner in battle.

Halite is the weakest among them (literally salt). Works with papers, they afraid of water.

spoilers for both houseki no kuni and splatoon ahead

i joke sometimes about “wow splatoon is like one accident away from being hnk” but this time i mean it. i’m probably incredibly wrong but idc, i made this drawing at 12 and its still late and i’ve decided to type out every little detail and idea i can remember before i eventually get beaten by fatigue.

so it’s more hnk adajcent than splatoon. u have the gems (inklings/octolings) but this time gems can be born on the moon occasionally. i thought about possibly marina and shiver being born on earth but agent 8 and neo being moon-made. OR agent 8 specifcally being moon-made with neo having rather obscure origins but being associated with admirabilis(salmon replacement i think) to a degree. marina and shiver may of been abducted at some point or willingly went to the moon in “earlier” years and came back. so marina, 8, and shiver sorta have more frills to their design concepts to mirror some of the stuff phos has later on in hnk.

in terms of everyone else though, i think the idols prefer more mundane jobs outside of jobs but still fight to a degree. like marie and callie are probably strictly fighters but the rest of the idols do other stuff than fight the lunarians. btw idk if lunarians are octoling associated because there’s a trinity thing with the octolings/inklings/sea life. the only agent that probably does stuff outside of fighting is agent 3 is the local doctor. callie and agent 3 work together on stuff like this just incase one of them gets abducted.

speaking of agent 3 i kinda...don’t know how to adapt what happened in octo expansion yet but feel free to add i guess? i know for certain they have BOTH a padaparadacha and phos situation simutanously with multiple gem parts but even that im wracking my brain with and wondering if i want that to be the case. in terms of what each character’s gem is. idk. the only one that is concrete is shiver who is obviously lapis lazuli becuase i liked the concept.

hopefully this is coherent cuz its NOW 2 as i finish writing this

Apocalypse AU, where Phos was a kid born during the apocalypse, and was with a community who survived, taking turns with scouting, hunting, and other survival needs, one by one though they get either killed, infected, or simply run away. and with a bonus of 5 year old Phos ( a code name) they just didn't care enough to bring her with them. Yellow probably forgot her. but being isolated alone Phos doesn't know about things that have happened outside of their community house.

More to come or something, idk im just bored and want to make someone suffer.

Random Headcanon time!

(Or a general AU idea)

Some implied Spoilers below

Kongo is made of an secret 7th Meteorite that crashed on earth before the ones that destroyed most of the planet’s countries’ land, the Human Scientists found it and brought to the whatever UN lab thing (if that even still exists before they almost go Ka-boom Ka-Blam! Era) or wherever Doctor Ayumu was and found brought to the lab.

His old and maybe first body was a ball like or Circular shaped kinda like his brother where he’s a Cube

Anyways

Making him had trial and errors because he kind a always get broken because of his power or the Scientists weren’t always careful when testing him(and always accidentally get kicked like a soccer ball rolling around), However Ayumu decided that he needed a new body(Based off of Kongo saying he had been switched in that flashback in Phos) because of this so she worked on a new body for him /w synthetic lonsdaleite because of his powers somehow relays on a small piece of lonsdaleite from the meteorite he made from.

And then. It was finally completed the body we all know that Kongo has.

Winter was over, and all around Ruby, the other gems were awakening from hibernation. He watched as they stretched their limbs, the quiet hibernation room beginning to fill with chatter. Gradually, all of the gems awoke. All but one. Emerald remained asleep, curled up in a corner. Ruby made his way towards the sleeping gem, sitting beside where he slumbered, waiting for him to wake.

The orange-yellow cluster is the smallest in number. There are only 4 addigems!

The most important figure not only in that cluster, but also for me personally, is Chrysoberyl - a brisk, brave and slightly hot-tempered patrolwoman. Outside the orange-yellow cluster, she patrols paired with Rose Quartz. Although battles mean a lot to her, as they are a big part of her long life, this is not at all what she would like to do. Chrysoberyl wants to devote more time to the craft of weapons.

Imperial Topaz is lonely, not quite involuntarily, but at the same time not looking for a way to leave this loneliness. He used to be paired with a White Topaz, until the second one lost an eye because of him. Imperial Topaz did not want to cause anyone else the pain of loss, so he passed the exam for a single patrolman in order to protect everyone from himselfs. However, he will taste the pain of loss himself. Maybe it's a lesson… but, maybe it's a curse.

Vanadinite is a little shy guy in everyday life. But he can be very harsh in battle. He is a seamstress who was born disabled. His consciousness was formed in an insufficiently large piece of lead ore - it was not enough to create hands, so he had to look for a replacement. It was lucky that galena, a lead sulfide, was formed in the same deposit. In the sun (especially on hot days), his body releases lead. Lead is not toxic to addigems, but it is deadly for nature.

Cerussite is a positive little one who gives all enthusiasm to carpentry! They are Vanadinite's partners, and an interesting story is connected with them. Cerussite and Vanadinite were born in the same year: the first in summer and the second in winter. They quickly found a common language, and helped each other cope with the fact that they were not for this world; that the grass was drying under their feet, and the water was getting muddy under their backs.
