まぜそうめん
とかき揚げ
My company is a real small one, only around 30 employees. The pandemic has been quite rough on us lately, and our CEO is trying to put us on the stock market, calling for investor and everything in his ability to keep us moving.
I truly admired his belief and enthusiasm, though I don’t believe one shirt in our company...
Anyway, he organised 2 on 1 meeting with each of the employee and their respective supervisor about this investor on a very short notice, a couple of days before the event or so. It would also be about anything we wanted to complain about, how much of our energy was being put to current work and how much more we could stretch.
I obviously did not say that I don’t believe in our company, and at the same time, did not have anything else to say either. But right after the meeting, I remembered all the things I wanted to change about our company, like how my seat is near the balcony where everyone smokes, and how we use so darn much paper. Man, where all that complains went...

My very first and simplified version of Sichuan/Chongqing noodles with carrots, green peas, chickpeas, roasted peanuts with the classic Chinese chili oil sauce mixture.

@jgressel asked me for a football AU of my D&D OCs so here are my horrible children if they were a five-a-side team. they are very bad and i love them
“but ireny,” i hear you say, “where is six beans, your loveable fancy boy tabaxi rogue?” obviously he goes into the opposing team’s dressing room during matches and steals all their stuff. don’t ask silly questions

2 & 20 for food asks?
Reference to this post.
2. I hadn't thought about it before, but I'm pretty sure that it's sour/tangy/acidic; I'm a big fan of vinegar roasted vegetables, drink sipping vinegar watered-down, and have a heavy hand with lemon and lime juice.
20. lao gan ma spicy chili crisp and too much baking, like many people.

I finally joined the cult of lao gan ma. i could eat this stuff straight out of the jar. 🤤 check the video for a good review of all the types (and an adorable dog). so far i've only had the regular chili crisp (油辣椒) since they didn't have many types at H Mart. Eventually I'll have to schlep to the proper Chinese grocery store because I MUST have the one with black bean!!

One of the richest women in China was born in extreme poverty in a remote mountain village. She got her wealth by selling her chili sauce, Lao gan ma, which she originally made for her noodle stand.

Bought lao gan ma. What a disappointment.
The oil is inferior. The peanuts are burnt. The chilli flakes are old.
I should just continue to make my own chilli or use pure chilli oil from Korean/Japanese brand. Meh.

IMO the ultimate cheap, nutritious, but low-effort meal is frozen dumplings. . . if you can get them from an asian supermarket they’re like, 5-6 dollars for a whole pack of dumplings that’s like 4ish meals. . . $1.50/meal is like, fast food prices.  but nutritionally they have protein and veggies and carbs in there. . . and they’re delicious, and as simple to cook as like, plain buttered pasta or something you just pop them in boiling water.

hdkdhdjjfjff that radicalf3male user is throwing a tantrum in everyone's notes but has yet to address me, the affected person of celty's harassment, stalking and rape apologism. she is also conveniently avoiding addressing the topic of women rapists and trans c/sa victims altogether. how curious! it's almost like terfs don't really care about sexual assault victims unless they're cis terfs themselves! 👀
That's how they work ! ! That's literally their prime program, it's to instill their bullshit in as many singular people as possible. "Whoever I am arguing with at the moment gets all my attention if they want it or not" like a 9 year old.
I'm so glad you noticed too! That they're picking up on any subtext they can identify. As a means of not having to divulge on the genuinely disagreeable behaviour and views they have
They're getting so mad expecting a reaction, but I'm literally just here, vibing and not being a heathen

a part of fanon(?) for mdzs/cql that mystifies me to this day is the incorporation in fics/fanarts of wwx craving or eating a spicy version of a thing that is not generally spicy. In modern AUs so far I’ve seen “spicy chocolate,” “spicy cake” and “spicy coffee” and every time it boggles my mind not only because canonically wwx does enjoy sweet things but also because it makes me wonder if that’s how some people think people who like really spicy food are like? if the latter, i can assure you...
