This is my first iteration of a fur mantle, as a gift for my daughter. This one is two pelts, through stitched leather medallions with wolf conchos. Each concho is reinforced with 2 inch cowhide circles sewn all the way through on front and back. Took forever to do and damn did my hands hurt after. My needle drank blood more than once. This one took about 10 to 12 hours working time, not counting picking up supplies and tools, hammering most of it out the night before her birthday. Pain in the ass, alot of mistakes, but a great result as a first try. I am working on a second one right now as a gift for my sister with a variety of improvements. The next one im making is designed for easy assembly. Doing them as gifts, and if I can make it easy enough I might start selling
