losing a ship in the last minutes of a show when you thought you had the endgame in the bag must be one of the most traumatizing experiences i’ve ever experienced watching tv

Rewatching Las Chicas Del Cable and its so funny to me that Francisco and Alba were barely teens when they ran away to Madrid together and it's so surreal bc in the early 20th century you could just do that
like literally in the early 1900s you and your first boyfriend at 13 could have just hopped on a train from your small village to the capital of your country and found work somehow (she probably would have been like a maid or servant, he would have been a newspaper boy or cable boy or something) and then by 18 yall would have gotten married and probably have a kid on the way and if you guys worked from the time you arrived to then you probably already owned a house?????
the early 20th century was WILD

The best thing Cable Girls did was change Francisco's hair for the second season. That man needed a new look and OMG IT WAS WORTH IT
