Hehe that’s a cute idea.. that’s sort of what I imagined the “special ready” effect is, but it would definitely be cooler if instead of just glowing/moving a bit their hair cycled through a bunch of colors

Good at the moment! Got a 4 day weekend every week now so I should (maybe?) be able to be more active here. Also FINALLY have a doctor’s apptmt today so i can see someone about my mental health shit and possibly, perhaps, potentially actually get help lol

I think I first saw a streamer playing it when I dropped by their twitch page on a whim, and I saw all the clothing options and immediately decided “i must buy a switch just to play this game”. The fashion aspect is still one of my favorite things about it lol.

I think my Favorite part has to be the singleplayer modes, in partic agents though (predictably), bc they’re exactly the sort of “mostly blank slate” characters+worlds I get attached to.. I’ve always rly enjoyed sort of filling in the gaps left behind in media, even if that means what I end up loving at the end is 90% headcanon stuff. I think that’s the best way 2 interact with media anyway. making it more personal.

It’s always very cool seeing everyone’s different takes on the agents/splat world, and it’s Very cool how I can post a pic of, like, agent 3 and have a bunch of different people each see a totally different character, you know? But yeah i like the shoes in splatoon

Honestly kinda rough but I’m trying! I’ve started college now and the people there are nice enough, plus it’s got incredibly cushy hours and is pretty light on actual “learning”, but it’s good, I needed some kind of break from academia before I straight up died

I’ve never “studied” officially, but i’ve been drawing for like, 5-6ish years now? I didn’t pick it up until I was about 10 and didn’t rly commit until I was maybe 12. The course i took at college is meant to be art-focused, however, the stuff they’re teaching is like.. not a brag! but stuff I do already know. Like, a tutor tried to explain what “pixel art” is to me on my first day. I mostly took it to try and learn some Maya skills because I do want to pick up 3D art one day!

Ty! This question’s pretty similar to the last so i’ll put it here. I’ve been slacking on my actual studying a bit, most of what I do is force myself to draw anything every day. Doesnt matter if its a wonky doodle of a face on the back of a napkin or if its a full illust, its practice, it counts. Also, trying to shove myself out of my own comfort zone by doing things like environments and very detailed things (motorcycle.). It’s very rewarding just to look at something you made and think “I thought this was impossible before right now”.

hmmmmMm... I can’t think of any just off the top of my head but my friend @nickymemer (I think?) put the idea of Zelda, whenever shes sick of link and her dads’ collective shit, just running off to gerudo town to hang out with urbosa and the rest of the gerudo court, in my head and i love that a lot

Thank you thank you! As of rn it’s botw but that’s probably because it’s the only one i’ve played by myself. I watched a 30 hour longplay of twilight princess and really loved that though. I did watch an lp of both majora and ocarina but I get the feeling i’m missing a big part of the experience of both bc i’m not playing them. (That or they’re overhyped.) If i get a bit more cash at some point I’ll probably get both on my 3ds.

I think im the opposite with my ocs, ive been creating my ocs for years and years and YEARS, but ive only recently gotten comfortable with even sharing them. i think Asks about my ocs would be baller, but if some rando drew them id freak. it's probably the abundance of self projection in my ocs

anyway, what Is your ideal friend group? or just ideal friend?

thats totally fair! i have a small handful of ocs that i havent rly talked about Publicly that are like Extra self projection that im not sure if id ever be willing to share publicly bc. Secret Feelings, yknow! though i think a lot, if not all, of my ocs are self projections to some extent

thats a bit of a tougher question! im not quite sure tbh. im not quite sure if large friend groups really are my Thing, like stuff like group chats gets overwhelming for me Very fast. but for an ideal One Single Friend, i suppose id want someone who can kind of understand my quirks and stuff, yknow? like sometimes emoting is hard and i just wanna be very blunt, but i tend to overcompensate and act very energetic and use lots of exclamation points bc im scared of hurting peoples feelings (i know i could always just use tone indicators, but its the principle of the thing, yknow). id also like someone who i feel like i can talk about my hyperfixations to! like, Especially if its something Theyre not into, yknow? being able to talk about something i like to someone who Doesnt like it, and having that person even just Pretend to be interested makes me feel a Lot less dumb for being into it. and the last sort of “qualification” (for lack of a better term) that i can think of is more about irl friends. i really want a friend who i feel like i can just sit in the same room as and not talk to them but still feel like im having a good time, yknow? talking is hard and there are a lot of days where i just dont wanna say a single word at All, but with all the irl friends ive had in the past, ive felt like ive Had to talk to them in order to have fun with them, and as a result, i just. have not really hung out with friends outside of school Ever (unless you count sitting backstage with my actor friends during the school play junior year, but i was mostly there as an obligation to my theater teacher). but i just wanna Chill nearby, yknow? i hope this all makes sense, hehe

ah im glad the interview went well! what type of volunteering is it?

im so tired of working from home at this point lmao I'm glad I'm gonna work outside now but aLso scared because of reasons 🤧

Navillera is so good 🤧 but I cry every episode hahahahaha it's very emotional... but I get emotional very easily, I guess so,, maybe the fact that I danced ballet when I was younger probably counts as well? also the protagonist is Hot . So yeah definitely watchable ! 🧐

it's like communications based volunteering (social media, creating flyers and pamphlets, media releases, etc, that kinda thing) for the state association for lyme & chronic fatigue..

its nice to have a wfh option bc im still waiting to hear back abt some retail positions ive applied for (had a phone interview for one and i have a face to face for another next week) so like nice to have some flexibility w volunteering so i dont have to choose between one and the other.

and oh yeah... im lucky in the sense that we have no community covid here but theres always a risk bc of the hotel quarantine system and whatnot.. plus i dont even know when i'll be getting my vaccine bc of the issues w AZ here not being given to those under 50 plus im at the bottom of the list bc asthma doesnt count as a reason to get it early :(

and ooh yeah i kinda gave up on it after finishing part 1 but sometimes i wanna watch something thats not a kdrama or cdrama so im like oh yeh i can finish this.. and i just happened to restart it when pt 5 was announced so added bonus i guess. plus i can practice my spanish listening skills

and ooh well now that you mention it maybe i'll add navillera to my watch list after all bc i think netflix has recommended it to me ahah :D

and not really.. i watch the performances on yt once mnet posts them but i dont rly watch the eps.. i didnt do that for rtk or queendom either so i just read people's liveblogging and im like :) dont know whats going on but okay ahah

shout for help - if theres someone around better equipped to save it then i let them do their thing, but if not then i find a way to save it. hopefully theres something more practical than just jumping in, but u gotta do what u gotta do. priorities yknow work doesnt matter when something like thats happening. plus turning up to work sopping wet from jumping into a canal has gotta add some effect to ur story tbh
