Obey me boy head cannons!

Skater!Mc x the demon boys + undateables!

Alright so background! Human mc had invited one of the boys to go to a skating rink with her in the human world, since she is one of the main racers and a very frequent attendee at the place since she was 10. She knows the regular skaters and owners pretty well. Shes held with high respect there and is pretty talented. She has skate races and a whole team of great skaters, so what happens when one day she invites one of the boys to go on a date/ support her during a competitive roller derby? Also please do keep in mind I'm taking inspiration off the monster high roller derby cause that race was pretty cool and difficult to do so make it more modernized and human. You know... no swinging axes or kraken's trying to grab you as you skate. Though in reality that sounds like something Diavolo would put together for devildom roller derby's...

Lucifer

When he heard you beg him to come support you for your first race back in the human world he was a little taken aback. A roller derby? Him? I mean he wasn't going to be the loudest but he did find the thought of watching them succeed and wanting his praise amusing nonetheless....

....in reality he missed the Mc dearly and would appreciate the time with them, but he'd never say so out loud.

When you looked up to him from the stands he smirked at you, the pressure was on... that smirk was the one of judgement and "let's see how you do" which wracked your nerves with enough anxiety that it helped fuel the fire to make sure you succeeded.

When the Mc took off, being shoved by people bigger than her on each side, he was surprised when you fell back and the two idiots collided and she hopped over with ease and sped towards the front with amazing speed.

When The Mc and their team won, she came speeding to him and hugged him from behind and thanked him.

Later he took you out to eat in congratulations, the smile on your face from getting praise and food? All the stress from the day was relieved by that small gesture.

"I dont know why I thought I had finally found out everything I could about you, yet you just keep surprising me...."

Mammon

When the you asked for his support during a casual race at your local skating rink, with just your team mates going against eachother in a regular speed skate with a few obstacles, he wasnt so interested, saying he wants money in return for his support, when in reality he would have went anyways. But when you told him that since it was a casual race, people could bet on the racers, he agreed so fast and even begged to be summoned right then and there.

Expect him to be screaming at the top of his lungs for you to win

Isnt against calling you baby this loud in public

May or may not have tried climbing the fence when you got pushed

Definitely bet on you, and a huge sum of money too. So much faith 😭❤

Once you've won expect him to come flying at you, poor baby forgot you where on skates tho so you'd end up falling backwards to your friends amusement of your cuddly demon.

Tried threatening the owners to do another race so he could get money and failed

Sulked till you dragged him by the hand to skate in the neon lights since most people left it was just you two

Later he would drag you to either go to bet on races with him to gain more money or go to shower you in gifts, really depended on how well you could convince him to not go gambling, which had a 50/50 success rate.

"If I'm not going to get more money I might as well shower you in what I have, make you the prettiest gem for the whole world to see!" "Mammon you only won 200 dollars not a mil-" "sh, sh, shhhhh, shhh, no arguing! The Great Mammon is going to treat his treasure right tonight, ya' hear!?"

Leviathan

Now getting this otaku outta his room was an absolute struggle. So like a cat trapping their preh, you had to summon him to your house and put a blindfold on him for a special surprise.

Dragged his unsocial ass to the car and road down to the skate rink and took off his blind fold once you both got inside.

It took a lot of coaxing, but you finally got him to calm down enough to get a pair of skates.

If your skater friends said hi to him he'd hide by your arm like a scared 5 year old

The jealousy he felt of everyone in the room was unbelievable, because the poor boy has no balance for skating. On wheels or ice, his body just refuses.

You offered to help him learn and the poor boys face was fuming red, thankfully the neon lights and darkness hid it well.

He held onto your hand for balance throughout the whole date, only stopping to eat some pizza and play some arcade games.

After a few hours you headed back to your house to binge some Starwars, wanting to watch something different with him.....which eventually led to the both of you getting bored and going back to the new ruri-chan movie you guys binged countless amount of times on the phone together.

"H-hey! Hold on you're going t-too fast! No now you're so close I-....um... ack everyone can see us...so many people... but its worth it to show that your mine!"

Satan

Now Satan isnt much of a skater, nor a loud supporter, but with enough coaxing you finally got him to at least try and relax with you, doing a nice small couple's night at the skate rink

Really wanted to try human customs with you so there was little resistance

He would hold their hand as you'd skate

Even think of skating away from him and he will chase after you

This man's rage in his bones makes him a natural speed skater

Will tickle you when he catches you, starts a very one sided tickle war tho

If you wanna sit down, it's going to be in his lap, no rejections.

Will find it adorable if your friends make fun of how blushy you're getting as you hide in his chest

"Come now kitten, dont run away or I'm going to tickle you so hard that your face will hurt too much to smile at anyone else but me"

Asmodeus

This sweet baby was already dragging you to your room to glamor you up before the race.

Honey no need to say anything, he will make you the most gorgeous skater just tell him the vibes you wanna give off and he will hit the nail straight on the head and match your aesthetic.

Best expect victory photos.

Will record your victory and show it off to the group chat with the brothers.

Absolutely head over heels for you, hanging off your body in a hug and then going for a really close skate together

Might try to convince you to have some celebratory seggs but will 100% be making it known how much you excited him.

"Sweetheart look at all the likes our photos are getting! Everyone's congratulating you! Awe look at how viral my baby is! That was a VERY thrilling experience watching you, and you do need to take care of that body....shall we take this home and undress you so I can congratulate you the right way~♡?"

Beezlebub

Immediately agreed when you brought it up that you wanted to bring him to the skate rink, someplace you enjoyed going.

He knew skating was like a work out but was worried about finding skates his size there so he brought his own customized skates.

You better have snacks cause baby is gonna be starving.

Thankfully since you also work there and know the owners, you where allowed to hop over and take his order, putting it on your tab. 4 pizzas 2 Turkey legs 7 hotdogs and a pint of water (remember to stay hydrated)

If you bumped into a few of your friends and he WILL get along with them. He wants to be apart of your life, all of it, so he'll make it a point to get along with everyone in it for your sake.

If you ever look like you're going to fall he will be so close behind you it would be like slipping and falling back onto a brick wall who grabs you before you hit the floor.

If you fall forward he will grab your shirt but try not to choke you in the process

(If you do choke poor baby with be hugging you apologizing profusely)

You two try racing eachother but no matter what you dont win cause hes just too fast

Finds you challenging him over and over endearing and adorable.

"You're so adorable when you're chasing after me trying to win, but I'm hungry now...can we go eat again?"

Belphegor

Will complain once you ask him to go skating for date night in the human world

Wont stop till he finds out it has a sunroof along with the neon lights so he can look at the stars while skating with you.

Will only skate for an hour or two then passes out on your lap

Will not help at all when you fall, just laughs cause he is probably the reason you fell in the first place.

When hes skating he will take your hand in his the whole time and sorta lean on your shoulder while skating from behind you.

You two will stop periodically to sit at the small felt covered benches in the rink to look up at the stars (may or may not fall asleep on your shoulder so you're stuck there with him sleeping for 20 minutes)

You will be the last ones out

Must grab some food for Beel cause belphie promised to bring him home food.

Skating (more like you dragging him by the hand while hes in skates)back to your place and looking at the stars together at like 3am

Wont go back till he can officially cuddle you till the morning and leaves at 11am

"Hey look...theres Ursa major...*yawn* come on let's sit down again, I'm tired..."

Luke (only as siblings you take him skating)

Doesnt know how to skate

You end up teaching him and hes the happiest little boy ever.

If you take him to a race he'll be all worried that you got a scratch and starts to get protective over you when the person who pushed you comes near

Definitely eating cotton candy

Playing claw machines and you win him a stuffed piggy and he holds it near and dear to his heart cause it's from you

"Mc! Mc! Look I'm doing it! I'm skating! Sir oinkers and me are skating together! Thank you so much haha!"

Simeon

Happily joins to cheer you on during your races everytime. Got a race? Simeon will be there.

If you dont win he will comfort you and make the best of the situation by taking you to the food bar till it turns to a free skate again.

If you're injured he will pamper you and be ready with his first aid. Little angel kisses on every scrap and bruise.

So many forehead kisses of encouragement and praise 🥺😭

Can speed skate, so if you want to practice he'll help but if you want to relax he'll do that too.

Inlines? Regular skates? No matter what hes great at them.

Somehow he has great luck and every stuffie you showed interest in or every candy or prize there was that you would even look at, he would win on the first try.

"Dont worry! I'll carry it all. You just relax alright? You got pretty bruised from that fall."

Barbatos

Getting this man to stop working and go on a date will need a ton of patience, even Lord Diavolo has to convince him the little d's will do their jobs right while hes away.

Will take care of every scrape and bruise you get.

Man has glowsticks prepared to cheer you on

When it turns back to a free skate he will try his best to impress you and teach you little tricks he's picked up in his many years.

You try to convince him to eat some of the food there and he will politely decline and proceed to take you out to a nice fancy, but quaint restaurant.

"You were really quick to dodge them back there, yet you still got a few bruises, truly amazing for humans to get to that speed and dodge so fast. You're really a fascinating one arent you?"

Lord Diavolo

This man.... he made SIGNS

WILL be hollering when you win

The loudest in the stands

Glowsticks, glowing necklaces, bracelets, man is even wearing a glowing necklace around his head for you, glowing head to toe

So happy and proud 🥺😭❤

Definitely brought barbatos to help hold up the glittery signs him and the little d's made

Barbatos will leave with the signs after congratulating you and leaving you two to your date.

He will be a little off balanced when first skating cause the man went straight for the inlines 😂

Will be smiling the whole time, nothing can or will ruin it.

Absolutely in love with the skate rink because of you and even wants to add a few to the devildom so they can hold tournaments like the one you where in

Can get sad if he cant get you a stuffed animal while you're in the bathroom so he summons Barbatos again to help him while you're away.

Sends Barbatos away so you wont know he helped him get the prizes

Ends up getting you 6 stuffies and a phone case that doesnt fit your phone but it's the thought that counts right?

You win him a medium sized dragon from the claw machine and he sleeps with it every night and loves it like it's your guy's kid.

If he meets your friends he will find out just how much you've missed him as you get embarrassed, makes a mental note to see you once a week after that encounter.

Will eat 2 Turkey legs as you eat a slice of pizza and share a pitcher of soda with him

(He makes a mess of his face so you clean it off for him)

Will not want to leave and go back to the devildom so he'll insist on staying the rest of the night and walks you home

Will. NOT. LEAVEEEE! Master of excuses for why he should stay.

"But I dont want to leave! Theres still so much to do!" "Can I at least see your house?" "I wont leave until I see you're safe at home!" "Please can I stay the night, I miss having you wake up in my arms." "I want to see the morning sun rise with you before I go back"

Shhhhh.

Mum’s the word! A few weeks ago in this blog, I mentioned that we’re working on a bunch of secret projects that for one reason or the other we can’t announce as yet. But that we’re going to announce during the year as we can, particularly at conventions as we attend them.

(Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5th Edition is not one of them. Saying that now, because I know how rumors start.)

This is why we have what appears to be a lighter than normal First Draft section below in the Blurbs!.

But now it’s time to reveal one of these projects!

This Wednesday, the Phone PDF version of Scion Origin goes on sale on DTRPG! If you had a chance to check out the free Pugmire core Phone PDF, then this version of Scion Origin is based off of that process and set-up. Hyper-linked out the wazoo for ease of use, but still containing all the great info and art of the regular PDF and print versions.

Here’s some info about Phone PDFs from DTRPG:

Using a Phone PDF

Phone PDFs are designed so you can quickly navigate them by touch using links in the PDF, instead of relying upon bookmarks or other navigation. Look for the Quick Links menu at the front of the book to give you links to touch to reach the most often referenced parts of the book. Links in the footer of each page help you easily navigate through the PDF.

Navigating the Pugmire Phone PDF

Some of the link navigation in the Phone PDF file works better in certain readers.

If you’re on iOS, we recommend the Apple’s Books reading app (which comes on every Apple phone) as it supports the Back navigation links in the Phone PDF. If you’re on Android, then we recommend grabbing the free Xodo reader app as that reader has a built in Back function which will jump back one link. This is a handy feature when touch navigating through the Phone PDF (no PDF viewers we’ve tested on Android natively support the Back navigation links in the Phone PDF so Xodo‘s Back function is the next best thing).

When we put up the Pugmire Phone PDF, there were a few demands that we investigate ePub as a format for this rather than PDFs. Long time readers of this blog know that we have, in fact, been working with ePub for years, trying to find a way for it to allow us to present our projects with the same usability and beauty as we have ported from physical books to PDFs. So far, there just hasn’t been a way to produce something that will hold charts and visuals the way we need them.

Maybe someday, as we keep pecking away at it. But that day is not today. Today we had an opportunity to create a phone-based version of a core rulebook, and we did that. One does not preclude the other ever happening, and now we have a very user friendly hand-held electronic version that is still very much recognizable as Scion Origin.

Of course, this week’s headline also refers to our ongoing Mummy: The Curse 2nd Edition Kickstarter as it approaches the two week mark and 200% funding with almost 1000 backers. We’re thrilled and gratified at the reaction the book is receiving, and we’re REALLY looking forward to hitting more Stretch Goals that start creating extra projects to expand this new version of Mummy.

One question you might ask Matthew is how he managed to make sure that the Timeless Chronicle (the subtitle of the game) was included in the book. I hear that it was something that permeated every decision, yet at the book’s earliest stage wasn’t actually directly written about. An oversight Matthew messaged someone not-me about:

“…failed to add the Timeless bit.”

And then he added, after making sure that the book actually did directly address and include that Chronicle:

“I won’t tell Rich if you won’t”.

What a rapscallion! (This info, by the way, was revealed during last Friday’s Onyx Pathcast deep dive into Mummy 2e because Matthew thinks I don’t listen every week).

But Judge Rich, you might say, “Traitorous minions aside, what if I can’t make it to that Q&A, plus I’m more interested in other Chronicles of Darkness games, or Exalted, or V5, or Scion. Whatever can I do?”

Well, I have good news! We’re running an Onyx Path AMA on Reddit on Wednesday November 27th starting at 12 noon Eastern US time and running until ya’ll run out of questions. It’ll be labelled more for Chronicles of Darkness questions, I think, but bring and ask whatever you’re into.

When we talk of social media, it’s often with a sort of worst expectations mind-set, but just a few years ago a post led to a viral campaign to celebrate a brand new holiday: Wolfenoot. This is an annual festival which commemorates the anniversary of The Great Wolf’s death. The holiday is observed on November 23. According to tradition, during Wolfenoot the Spirit of the Wolf brings small gifts to homes and hides them around the house for everyone. People who display kindness to dogs receive better gifts than everyone else.

The holiday was created by a 7-year-old boy in New Zealand. his mother shared the idea for the holiday via Facebook in 2018, and the post was quickly shared more than 2,000 times. The FB event page for the holiday got more than 13,000 Facebook users marking that they were interested in the event or planned to attend. An official page was created and soon numerous FB groups, pages, and events followed.

The central theme of the Nov 23rd holiday is kindness to dogs and wolves. Various celebrations along these elements have been proposed by participants, such as feasting on roasted meat, giving gifts, donating time and money to charitable organizations which benefit dogs and wolves, and decorating homes with wolf and dog themes. Participants are encouraged to celebrate by eating roast meat and cakes decorated as a full moon. Those who prefer not to consume meat are encouraged to omit the consumption of meat and celebrate in the spirit of “being kind to animals.”

Happy Birthday, in a way, to Alan Moore – one of the most influential comic book writers ever. Swamp Thing, Watchmen, V For Vigilante, From Hell, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen…his list of highlights just goes on and on, along with plenty of other works, that turn our ideas of what comic book writing styles and themes are inside out. I say “in a way”, though, because his huge novel Jerusalem postulates that all time is an illusion and we are born, live, and die all at the same time – so the concept of a separate day of birth seems a bit artificial and limited to our perception of reality. Can’t have that!

[01:07 AM] Wack'd: Reed is...still not awake, so Johnny, Ben, and Medusa rig the machine that was used to knock him out to wake him up again, and--as requested--lie to him about Sue and Franklin. [01:07 AM] Wack'd: Reed chalks the idea that he ever thought Sue was here up to longing. I almost feel sorry for him.

[01:08 AM] Wack'd: Gideon and Dragon Man are both dead, and Reed vows to try and cure Gideon Jr.'s radiation poisoning. [01:09 AM] Wack'd: Meanwhile--

Favorite Food: anything chocolate Hobby: Looking at old pictures Appearance: In Phantom Blood, she wears a long, light blue dress with pale blue sleeves, and ribbons adorning the waist of the dress. Her hair is very long, brown, and braided, tied by a white ribbon at the end of her hair. In Battle Tendency, her hair is out of it’s braid, instead in a very long ponytail, tied together with a smaller version of the white ribbon from before. Despite being in her early 70′s, she still looks 22 due to her suddenly reincarnating, essentially. She wears a red tank top, and over that, a red and white coat with red fur trim on it. She also wears red pants, and white gladiator type shoes. In Stardust Crusaders, her hair has been cut to a massively shorter length, still keeping the smaller version of the white ribbon in her hair, but this time it’s holding her bangs away from her face. She wears a purple, off shoulder shirt, a lighter color purple skirt with pinkish-purple lines going through the skirt, a purple half skirt, and a utility type belt. She also wears black, knee length boots. Story: In Phantom Blood, Alexandra grew up in nobility, and she met a very young Dio Brando when she was just 3, and he was 2. She had a small coin purse with her, and she passed by Dio and his mother, noticing that they were poor. She asked her mother if she could give them the coin purse, and of course, her mother said yes. So, she walked over to the 2 year old Dio, and handed it to him, smiling as his mother thanked her. About a month later, they met again, and quickly became best friends, even with Alexandra going so far as to say that she wanted to marry him. Fast forward a bit, Dio’s mother passed away, and the poor kid was suffering from his father’s abuse. Alexandra had promised him that she would stay by his side, no matter what happened to him. Eventually, as the years go by, Dario Brando had passed away due to poisoning, Dio was then adopted into the Joestar family, which made Alexandra very happy, wishing him the best. However, after the years pass, Alexandra was told by Jonathan Joestar that Dio had become a monster, and when Dio confronted her, she felt as if she didn’t know him anymore, and left shortly after he was bested by Jonathan. However, her life froze, just like that, and wasn’t continued until Joseph Joestar turned 18 years old. In Battle Tendency, Alexandra is about 72 years old, which confuses her. She had come to the realization that she was asleep for about 50 years. However, something wasn’t quite right. She was forgetting some wonderful memories. Memories about Dio. This greatly upset her, but she trucked forward in her adventure. It was at this point that she met Joseph Joestar, who reminded her greatly of Jonathan. When she asked his full name, she realized that he could be Jonathan’s great grandson. She stayed by his side through out his journey, and fight with the Pillar Men. But other than that, nothing major was happening in her life. Shortly after Joseph’s victory against Kars, once again, she fell into a deep slumber that lasted about another 50 years, when Jotaro Kujo turns 17. In Stardust Crusaders, she awakens once again 50 years into the future, but this time, with a new power she had never seen before. It was a Stand. She looked at it, and couldn’t figure out a name for it. (I know this doesn’t fit for the time period, but shhhhh this is a Jojo oc, it doesn’t have to make a lot of sense.) She ended up, for some reason, naming the stand Evan Escence. She realized as she was training with it, that her memories, or lack thereof, of Dio Brando had affected it. If she remembered a pleasant memory of him, such as their first kiss way back when, it becomes stronger. But if she forgets a pleasant memory or remembers an unpleasant one, it becomes weaker. She never understood it’s powers, but she came to the conclusion that to some extent, she can control space. It was shortly after, where she met Jotaro Kujo and co, and somehow, she was able to recognize Joseph. He seemed to recognize her too, and they discussed her stand. Deciding to travel with them on their journey, she told them about the vague memories she has of Dio. They fill her in on that he is back, and automatically, she determines she wants to see him. Once they reach Cairo, she immediately begins her search, finding him faster than the group, but refusing to say so. She met up with DIO, only to find how different he truly has become. She was very saddened by this, and once again, commented on how she didn’t know him anymore. But, she couldn’t help herself, and gave him a single peck on the lips, before deciding to essentially cut him out of her life. As expected, he didn’t take kindly to this, but not wanting to make it worse on her, he let her go. In the end, DIO was bested by Jotaro, and she celebrated with what remains of the group. She was heartbroken when she heard that Avdol, Iggy, and Kakyoin had unfortunately been killed. Regardless, she was happy....or so she thought, as once again, she fell into a slumber.

you and sungwoon started wayyy back

he used to be that asshole who would tease you in primary and middle school

ugly hair cut he’ll be the one to tell you first

embarrassing moment first to laugh

you weren’t too affected by it but you hated his guts

suddenly high school came around

puberty became a thing and you were one of the lucky ones

but unfortunately for you sungwoon became even more annoying

no teasing anymore

but worse

constantly asking you out

“hey y/n do you want to go out saturday night” he’d say with a smirk first thing in the morning

“fuck off sungwoon how many times do i have to say no for you to get it through your thick head” you replied grumpily

“nahhh you’re the one in denial” he’d say right back

“yeah yeah yeah keep on talking” you say dismissively

that’s usually how would it go on a regular basis

of course sungwoon’s friends would be shitting themselves with laughter

they literally take count of how many times he’s asked you out

minhyun has a notebook he carries around to tally

there’s a whole wide school betting pool when you get so sick of him asking you out you finally agree

of course it’s run by daniel and seongwoo

your friends have even tried to convince you to say yes just to win the prize money

you would try to avoid sungwoon any chance you get but you can not escape him

he’s in nearly all your classes

and you won’t deny he is good looking

but seriously you can not deal with his personality

like who asks a girl out constantly just to annoy her??

some people actually thinking he’s being sincere

you scoff at those comments

but when you honestly ask yourself what you would say if he sincerely asked you out

you were at a loss of words

because there was a secret part of you that weirdly liked him???

it didn’t make any sense???

and then you decided to never ever think about him sincerely asking you out again

because he doesn’t actually like you

and you were also dreading the day that you become partners for a project

while sungwoon was very much looking forward to it

she announced there were going to be partner project which was going to be 50% of your grade

her exact words were “y/n and sungwoon you two are together, let’s hope something happens so the betting pool finally ends and i win it”

“MISS SMITHHHHH” you whine out and she just gives you a wink

cue you groaning and complaining

while sungwoon stands up and victoriously shouts “YESSS!!”

everyone is laughing

“good luck y/n” shouted guanlin while chuckling

you just gave him the middle finger

which made him just laugh harder

“hey sweetie how you doing today” sungwoon went over to you after class finished and putting an arm around you

“i am NOT anyone’s especially not your sweetie and i’m doing fantastic” your voice dripping in sarcasm as you say through gritted teeth

sungwoon totally ignoring your pissed off look said to you “how’s the espresso cafe at 4?”

“whatever” you say darkly under your breath

“i’ll take that as a yes” sungwoon says grinning brightly making you heart strings tug

“i’ll see you at 4 honeyyy~” he says sweetly as he goes back to his friends

“nah it’s just part of my appeal” sungwoon announced cockily his chest out

“the appeal which made her reject you for 3 years?” jinyoung said doubtfully

“shhhhh” sungwoon said covering jinyoung’s mouth

“do you actually even like her or are you doing it for the lols?” woojin butted in slightly concerned for you

since you two were friends

“if you’ve been paying any attention to his endless spiels of how perfect y/n is, he’s madly in love with her” groaned jaehwan

“i do actually really like her” sungwoon says nonchalantly shrugging his shoulders like it was the most obvious thing in the world

“jaehwan stop complaining we have to hear you composing shitty love songs at 3 in the morning” jihoon added

“they are” minhyun assured him

“um anyways back to the subject in hand sungwoon hyung you know she doesn’t actually think you’re being sincere?” daehwi said

“i know but how do i be sincere” sungwoon said with a sigh

“you look her straight in the eye” seongwoo started with a cheeky grin

“and tell her you want to fuck her brains out” he ended

before seongwoo could say anything

“shut up you evil s-sausages” seongwoo grumbled as woojin and jihoon hi fived each other while chuckling

sungwoon reached the cafe right on time sweating and panting

once sungwoon came back with the drinks

you two started working on the project

at one point sungwoon was just simply staring at you

because you looked gorgeous with a messy bun and the concentrated look you have on your face

“do i have something on my face?” you asked without even looking up

“nope you just look beautiful” sungwoon says sweetly than going back to his work

he couldn’t help but smile when your cheeks got red

you wanted to be unaffected but he just sounded so sincere

it made you doubt that he was just trying to be annoying by asking you out

a few hours passed and it was surprising pleasant

sungwoon not asking you out once or calling you any sickly sweet nicknames

you even had a good time with him? laughing and making jokes and just talking normally

it was a weird feeling now you were around him

you even gave him your number?

when you did his face lit up like a million fairy lights

you excuse was because of the project which he just smirked at you

while you said adamantly“it really is!!!”

“so if i text you tonight at 10pm about whether salt and vinegar chips are worse than barbecue chips will you reply?” sungwoon said amused by your antics

“yes!! because salt and vinegar chips are OBVIOUSLY better” you ranted trying to avoid the fact that you would reply to him

“well i look forward to debating with you ms y/l/n good day and farewell” sungwoon said dramatically with a deep bow

making you laugh

and of course he added one last statement

“i really do prefer making you smile y/n then getting you angry”

“if you want to stop making me annoyed, stop asking me out” you replied softly

“i will” he says slightly disappointed but still upbeat

“okay thanks” you reply conflicted

you say goodbye then you get home

and questions are swimming around in your head

why did you hate the fact he wasn’t going to ask you out anymore?

why do you suddenly like being around him?

was he always this attractive?

and why is my heart going at uncontrollable speeds?

this was crazy you thought with a sigh

then you heard a ding it was your phone you dived for it hoping it was sungwoon

when you saw the message you couldn’t help but burst into a wide smile

“barbecue chips are obviously better than salt and vinegar”

you replied instantly

and from that moment on you know you were going to be head over heels

the next two weeks were amazing

you’d hang out with sungwoon every day after school

at of course your cafe

everyone was convinced you were a couple but you both denied it

sungwoon half heartedly

you tried to convince people the reason you guys jung out was because it was actually a really big project and it would be 50% of your grade

nobody bought it

truthfully you didn’t either

you just liked his company?

was what you were saying to try and make yourself believe you totally didn’t like him

the bets in the betting pool went up 60% making seongwoo and daniel very happy since they got a dollar from each bet made

you would text him at night until 1am

both of you had it REAL bad

it was the night before the project was due and you were upset because you didn’t really have an excuse to hang out with sungwoon anymore

and you didn’t want to be just friends but it seemed sungwoon was happily settling for that

maybe you were right

maybe his feelings weren’t genuine

you sigh as you finish up the last few touches

“hey you okay?” sungwoon asks concerned

“yeah i’m okay i just finished” you say weakly

“great! i just finished too come on i wanted to show you something” sungwoon says brightly with an excited look on his face

he held his hand out for you

which you grabbed immediately

liking the feeling instantly

sungwoon was leading you to the back to the cafe and up some rusty looking stairs

“where are we going sungwoon?” you ask curiously

“just wait and see” he says with a cheeky grin

suddenly you feel a blast of cold hair as sungwoon opens a door

it leads to a terrace

there’s a gorgeous sight of the skyline

and in the middle of terrace is a table with two chairs and all your favourite foods on there

with a rose in a vase in the middle

and soft romantic music is playing in the background

you gasp at the sight while sungwoon just smiles

“since it was our last day of the project i wanted to make it special and i know you told me that i shouldn’t ask you out anymore but i was hoping this could be a date with dinner and dancing. but like you can totally go if you don’t lik-” sungwoon gets cut off his sweet rambling

with you saying with a gorgeous smile and looking so so happy

“sungwoon just kiss me”

he gave you a mix between a smile and a smirk and leaned in

your kiss was slow and passionate but extremely romantic

as sungwoon held you close and you had your arms around his neck pulling him closer to you

when you parted with heavy breaths and sweet smiles

sungwoon asked you “so that’s a yes”

you laugh and then say “of course it’s a yes you idiot”

which sungwoon replies with another passionate kiss

you two spent the night laughing eating and dancing under the stars

and when you entered class the next day with holding hands

all of the wanna one guys and miss smith shouted loudly while doing happy dances

‘YES YES WE WON WE WON!!!!”

resulting the whole class bursting into laughter

with you blushing red as a tomato

and sungwoon just smirked before whispering in your ear

“i won the best prize of all, you”

then before you could stop him or remind him you two were in class

he gave you another swoon worthy kiss

The Mandela Effect

I have got a question coming in... Can I talk about the Mandela Effect? What is the Mandela Effect? Well a lot of people are experiencing remembering certain events that they could have sworn took place and then they find out they actually didn’t.

So Fiona Broome, a Paranormal Consultant, came up with this theory in 2010 and I get loads of questions asking me

“Can you do a post about what you think of the Mandela effect and what do I think about it?”... and I am going to share with you what I think about it :)

Let me give you some examples of the Mandela effect... a popular one is the berenstain bears.. berenstein bears, berensteen bears, berenstein.. no its not apparently it is Baranstain... how did that get changed so quickly.. Nobody knows :)

Hello Clarice... I always thought it was Hello Clarice, Silence of the Lambs... I come to find out is is Good Evening Clarice, who changed that.

But the biggest one and this one even got me because I always thought it was Sex in the City... I come to find out in was Sex and the City, the title was changed to Sex and the City.

Now here is where it gets really trippy because there is proof from people in awards shows saying

“Actually, Sex in the City”

Now the Mandela Effect is... because a lot of people actually thought Nelson Mandela passed away back in the late 90′s and, in actuality, there was a book published which actually said

“Nelson Mandela passed away in 1991″... and this book was published

and a lot of people are like

“Gosh, I thought Nelson Mandela passed away in 2013”

So a lot of people are reporting these past experiences, memories are coming back to them.

And another Mandela Effect example is

“Life is like a box of chocolates”

Do you remember Forrest Gump... hoe many times have you said that exact phrase? Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get next.... no, you did it totally wrong, It’s

“Life was like a box of chocolates”

Now, it is very strange when you think

“Mirror Mirror on the Wall”... no,no,no, where the hell did you get that phrase from?

It’s more like

“Magic Mirror on the Wall”

And another... it’s not even

“Luke, I am your father”

It’s is

“No, I am your father”

So, the Mandela Effect is huge and it’s kind of trippy and, for me, I find this fascinating, amazing.

Now I am going to share with you some insight to why this may actually be happening because we can talk about Parallel Universes and other Dimensions.

Now what has helped me along my journey to become my greatest version is to realize that.... anything we see is not actually what is. The Ancient Hindu’s talked of the Maya, the whole world being an illusion... kind of like a computer simulation... The Matrix anyone :)

When I was thinking about the Mandela Effect, I am like

“It could actually be possible”

because we are living in a kind of computer simulation... you have got to check out books like ‘The Holographic Universe’, goodness gracious I hope that name hasn’t changed already :)

People are like

“Will, what has happened to you”

I am a whole different person, I am clone.... Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone about it :)

Now here is where it gets really exciting because I sometimes realize, yes, we could be living in a computer simulation.... you see, computers are built on Binary, 0′s and 1′s and that is what the whole film The Matrix was about.... that you are like in a computer simulation.... computer generated dreamworld..... so what is real? and reality can always be changed.

So you have got the Gnostic's that are talking about a group of beings called The Archon’s... (Mass Effect Andromeda anyone :)) living in the 4th Dimension who are actually controlling the 3rd Dimension... so it made me think that they are like levels to this shit and there are even beings we can’t even perceive, who are out of our range of frequency, that could actually manipulate this reality.

So, it got me thinking that....let’s just say you are typing a beautiful love letter as you do on the computer... why don’t people write anymore? don,t worry about it :) Let’s just say you typed that that letter like 10 years ago... you could actually go back to the letter right now and change it, if it is still there... and edit it because you missed out something, 3 words... I Love You.. you forgot about that right.... and change it and then resend it to that person so they don’t slap you across the face again :) Say actually don’t worry about it.. I said I Love you, you are seeing things differently.

So if this is like a computer simulation you could actually go back in time and change certain variables ..... and its amazing because Philip K Dick, really people say that he wrote The Matrix or The Matrix was inspired by him. He talked about how reality is like an illusion because... and you only notice this because it is like the glitch in The Matrix.... you notice that certain variables get changed, you see you have got to look out for the variables... and some of his books were like crazy brilliant.... Ok, he is like super huge on science fiction which is actually science now.

So, how I use this because I am always about my greatest version and practicality..... it makes me question everything even more to say

“Actually, all of these people who are having these memories of certain events... which they found out maybe did or did not take place and that maybe we slipped into another reality”

And the whole nature of reality is up for the question... I am even real? Are you even real? ..... People always say

“Will”

and I am like

“What”

“They are like 7 billion people on the planet”

and... I even have seen

“How do you even know there are 7 billion people on the planet?”

What if I told you there were 12 billion people on the planet or 3 billion people... You will be like

“No Will, there are 7 billion people on the planet”

because somebody had told you!

I don’t know if they are 7 billion people on the planet, you don’t know if there are 7 billion people on the planet and the people that did a count don’t even know there are 7 billion people on the planet.

Its not like anyone has counted each one...1, 2 ,3, 4, 5.... you probably can’t even count 50 thousand people let alone 7 billion.

So reality is handed down to us... so that is why you have got to question everything and the Mandela Effect, for me, is just exciting because it goes to show how we don’t even know what really happened, we don’t even know what really happened last summer... let alone like last 10 years ago.

And also that you have got to look out for the glitches... because I was always saying Sex in the City but I later found out that it is Sex and the City, and there is proof that it was Sex in the City.... so it is almost like a little game, these glitches in The Matrix, you just have to laugh at them and realize that

“Hey, I want to know have you noticed the Mandela Effect”

because we have got a lot of people diving deep.. we have got millions of people diving deep all around the world... like have you experienced it for yourself?

Sometimes I experience the Mandela Effect, I am like

“Wait a minute, I could of sworn it was like that... Woah it just changed a minute ago”

and then all that happens is you just say

“Feels so good to be alive Baby!”

It’s really easy to get bored on the meteor. Being on a rock hurtling close to the speed of light through the Furthest Ring is all well and good, but if all you have to do on that rock is eat, read, watch movies, and peruse the dormant internet, it can get pretty boring pretty fast. There are only so many times you can re-watch The Shawshank Redemption before you want to tear your own hair out.

So lately, you’ve been playing with the Alchemiter, trying to make something truly new and fresh. Most of the time what you get out is useless, like a coffee mug with the handle on the inside, or a deck of cards where all the twos have bite marks on them. But occasionally, something completely unexpected pops out. Something so utterly unique and interesting that it alone can entertain you for a week.

This time, you get the distinct feeling that it’s gonna last a lot longer than that.

You made a ray-gun. An actual vintage 50’s sci-fi ray gun, with the completely pointless circles around the barrel and everything. This alone would provide at least a few hours of amusement, but when you aimed the thing at a nearby can left over from the Mayor’s last supply run, you realized the true potential of what you had made.

A beam of energy erupted from the gun, surrounding the can in an aquamarine aura, and over the course of a few seconds the can had shrunk down to about 5% of its original size.

You’d picked it up. It was tiny, only about half the size of your thumbnail, whereas before you’d have been able to comfortably wrap your hand around half of its circumference. You’d held it between your fingers, and it had crumpled between them.

Oh yes. You could do some very interesting things with this thing.

Your first thought was to show Kanaya, and so you did just that. She was skeptical when you’d described it, but after you’d unleashed its power upon a poor, unsuspecting lamp, her eyes lit up at the possibilities.

“This is incredible!” she’d said. “If you could build a growth-ray, we could store so much stuff in a much smaller area. I could weave small complicated designs at an inflated size and shrink them down when I was happy with them. If you could-”

You’d interrupted her tirade to suggest an alternative. “Those are all very pragmatic uses, yes. But I have a different suggestion: let’s mess with Karkat.”

“Hang on a minute I thought Murfle was Ralana’s matesprit?” Dave interrupts.

Karkat glares daggers at him. “She is, oh my god, how could you miss something so basic?”

“Come on dude don’t tell me you don’t see it. The way he’s looking for an excuse to get out of the redder activities they do together.”

Karkat raises his eyebrows at Dave.

“That subtle concern he shows when Ralana looks distant. The way he’s gradually opening up to her more and more.”

Karkat’s eyes widen in what you can only imagine is disbelief.

“Murfle totally wants in Ralana’s diamonds, dude.”

For a moment Karkat just sits there, mouth agape, staring straight at Dave.

“… What?” Dave asks. “Am I wrong?”

“Holy sweet mother of fuck,” Karkat says, shocked, “how did you even spot that this early? That’s meant to be the big twist in chapter twenty-three, and you, a human, have already figured it out? How?”

“What, isn’t it obvious?” Dave asks with a hint of incredulity. “Tell me it’s obvious.”

“When I first read this I only caught it last chapter. Most people don’t see it for ten more.”

“Well fuck,” Dave says, leaning back, his head now resting on the back of the couch. “Looks like I’m a bona fide quadrant aficionado now. Better watch out Karkat,” he turns his head to face him, raising one arm in the air, pointing into the sky, “your undisputed rule is about to be challenged. A new contender enters the arena, and that contender,” he lowers his hand and places it open palm over his chest, “is me.”

Karkat’s just staring at Dave, clearly enraptured by your brother’s perceptive skills. You spring your trap whilst he’s distracted, poking the shrink-ray around the corner, taking aim at his head, and firing.

The same aquamarine hue envelops Karkat, snapping both him and Dave out of their headspaces.

“What the fuuuuuUUUUUUAAAAAAHHHHH-“ Karkat trails off as he begins to shrink, and shrink fast. He rockets past shoulder-height, his legs no longer reach the floor, and before you know it you can barely see his little orange horns poking out from behind Dave’s thigh. Dave’s poker face is shattered – he looks shocked, frozen with indecision. He starts scanning the room around him, and you and Kanaya dart back around the door just before his gaze sweeps past you. You wait a few seconds, then Kanaya peeks out and gives you the all-clear. You resume your vigil.

“Uh”, Dave says, at a loss for words. “Are you… okay?” he asks with such sincerity, such deep concern, that you’re taken back for a moment.

You can hear deep breaths being taken, and you can tell by the noise level that Karkat’s trying very hard to keep a level head. “… I think so”, he says after a few seconds. “Physically, at least.” You see one of Karkat’s now-tiny hands reach up and feel one of his horns. “I’m not… it doesn’t feel any different. But…” You see both or Karkat’s arms gesturing upwards at Dave. “Look at you! You’re gigantic! What the fuck!”

“Uh, pretty sure you’re just small dude,” Dave points out, “unless the couch grew with me or something.”

Karkat waves a hand dismissively. “Fine, whatever, relativity, who gives a shit. The point stands.”

After a brief pause, Dave concedes the point. “Yeah this is a pretty ‘what the fuck’ situation.”

They sit in silence for a few moments, Karkat’s horns tipping down as he no doubt buries his face in his hands.

“So how heavy are you?” Dave interjects.

“What?”

“Do you still have all that mass you used to have, or did that get scaled down too?”

Karkat throws up his hands. “How am I supposed to know that? Either way, my muscles would have been scaled down by the exact same amount, so I wouldn’t feel a difference.”

“I’m just wondering like,” Dave rubs the back of his neck awkwardly, “would I be able to pick you up? You know,” he mimes a grabbing motion, “carry you around and stuff.” He shrugs. “Gonna be hella inconvenient to get yourself around at that size.”

Karkat’s arms fall out of your view. “… You’re right,” he says after a time, resignation in his voice. “Oh god, you’re right.”

“What, Strider Airlines not good enough for you?” Dave quips as he smirks.

“No!” Karkat says, suspiciously quickly. After a pause, he repeats: “… No. I… appreciate the offer,” he says carefully. “It’s just… I don’t know.” He shakes his head. “I don’t know.”

After a protected gap, Dave ventures “… We could always just try it. See what happens.”

“You know what, fuck it, why not. Do it before I change my mind.

Dave reaches down, and when he brings his hand back up, he’s got his palm and fingers wrapped around Karkat’s torso, his legs dangling down and his arms stuck awkwardly out to his sides. He looks absolutely adorable, and Kanaya fights to suppress an “aww” at the sight. Dave brings his other hand up to form a cup, releasing Karkat into it. You can see his face now, and you can spot… red tears?

“Shhhhh,” Dave says softly as Karkat begins to vocalize his despair. “Shhhhhhhhhhhh.” Dave’s thumb reaches out and starts rubbing Karkat’s head, slowly, gently, like he’s afraid of hurting the troll. “It’s okay, Karkat. We’ll figure out how to change you back.”

As the head-rub continues, Karkat’s cries subside into hiccups, and then into… a purr? You look to Kanaya for answers, and the enormous jade flush overrunning her cheeks is answer enough.

“Got a lot of smart people on this meteor, and three literal gods.”

Karkat’s starting to nuzzle into Dave’s hands now. The angle gets too awkward for Dave to continue the head-rub, so he switches to a full-body stroke instead. “Can I…” Karkat says, his pitch oscillating as the purr interferes with its normal operation. “Can I stay here for a while? It feels… safe. Here. With you.”

“What you think I would leave you here right now? I ain’t a troll, dude, that’s not how humans roll.” Dave starts to smile so genuinely it’s kind of disturbing you. “We don’t abandon our bros when they need us most, that’s like, against rule zero or the bro code. It’s so implicit nobody ever tells you about it.”

Karkat starts interlacing small, high-pitched chirps with the purr.

Kanaya taps you on the shoulder and whispers, awkwardly, “We should go. We shouldn’t be watching this.”

But you keep staring, enraptured by the scene. Karkat, so small and vulnerable, cupped between Dave’s hands, hands that are one errant muscle twitch away from breaking apart and sending him tumbling down to the lap below. Karkat’s eyes widen and your brother removes his shades, as if he can’t believe what he’s seeing through them.

“Rose?” he asks, rubbing his eyes.

You sigh. “The one and only.”

“But… but…” Karkat stutters, for once in his life struggling to think of the words.

Kanaya walks backwards towards them to give them a better look. Dave leans back over the counter, looking for a better angle, and Karkat walks up to the edge, reaching out his hand. His palm touches your face, then Kanaya’s skin, and then your face again.

“How?” He asks.

“We, ah,” Kanaya beings before you cut her off.

“A shrink-ray, followed swiftly by shenanigans of the highest order.”

“Figures,” Karkat says. ‘It’s always shenanigans.” Suddenly, his eyes light up. “Wait… that means…”

Oh, right. That other shrink-ray incident.

“Oh you son of a whore,” Karkat says, his voice rising in volume and becoming much more menacing. “You absolute festering pile of hoofbeast-manure. You… you did this to be, didn’t you? Didn’t you!” he yells, spit flying into your face.

“Shh shh shh,” Dave interrupts, rubbing his index finger down Karkat’s back. “Not now.”

“Why the fuck not now?” Karkat yells, turning his rage onto Dave. “She’s- one or both of them are responsible for my size right now!” he says, gesturing to his body. “And I’m sure as hell going to hold them accountable for it!”

Dave starts rubbing Karkat’s head with his thumb simultaneously. “Dude, as much as I like your signature rants – and trust me they’ve grown on me – do you really think yelling is gonna solve anything?”

Karkat takes a deep breath in, and deflates. “No,” he admits. “No, it won’t.”

He turns around, freeing himself from Dave’s fingers, and stares you in the eye. “So. How do we get out of this mess?”

“That, dear Karkat,” you say, “is the million dollar question.”

It’s been a week now, and none of you have any leads on either front. No progress on getting you off Kanaya’s butt. No progress on the growth-ray to get you and Karkat back up to normal size. Karkat’s taken to his reduced stature remarkably well – it’s still impossible for him to carry most things around, but Dave let him have his hash-map modus, so it only becomes a problem when he decaptchalogues something. He seems surprisingly happy all things considered – you’re beginning to suspect even more so than when he was full-size. His relationship with Dave seems to have settled into what Kanaya is calling a “flush-tinted moirallegiance”, which she seems happy with. At least that goal was met.

All four of you are in the common room together. Kanaya’s lying down on a beanbag, you and her staring up and Dave and Karkat on the couch. Karkat’s reading a book to you all – the same one you’d seen him reading a week ago. It’s at that moment that Vriska barges in, proud and cocky.

“Alright,” she interrupts, all high-and-mighty with her eyes closes as she points towards the ceiling, “it’s been long enough, we need to talk end-game strategy! Karkat!” she says, opening her eyes and looking for him. “Give me-“ She cuts herself off and stares at you all, wide eyed.

You all stare back, your eyebrows raised.

“Sup?” Dave says, deadpan.

Vriska rubs her eyes and mumbles something about another week being fine, before slowly backpedaling out of the room.

You hear her run down the corridor away from you all, and after a few seconds you all stare at each other, and burst out laughing.

Okay. Maybe this isn’t ideal. Maybe everything would be better if you had never make that shrink-ray. But this is where you are now. You can’t change the past, no matter how many time players you have. All you can do is work in the present, towards a better and brighter future.

And that, you think, as the laughter begins to die down, is all you need. All any of you will ever need.
