Simón approaches the doors of the Jam and Roller. He pulls out a set of keys from his pocket and selectively picks the one with the J&R emblem engraved on it. He’s surprised when he grabs the doorknob and is able to open it without unlocking it himself. He walks in cautiously. “Is anyone here?” No one answers. Everything seems to be intact. He wonders maybe Pedro forgot to lock up last night?
He keeps walking around and gets a little startled noticing a person sitting in front of the main desk in the office. He shakes his head and rubs his tired eyes. Sitting there is Ámbar, crying in her arms.
“Linda que paso? What happened?” He worriedly rushes by her side. “It’s official, no one’s buying this place. No one wants it. Vidia is planning to tear it down and sell the land on its own.” More tears begin to cover her face. This place grew to be extremely close to Ámbar’s heart. After everything that happened with Sharon, the only constant in her life was the Jam and Roller. Being able to skate help relieve her from her anxieties and at least have one moment to be alone with the world. When she got offered the position to be manager, she couldn’t be more thrilled. Putting her heart and soul into setting up events for the gang and making sure everything was in place helped her feel more in control with her life. She was able to calm down the mess that surrounded her and pick up the pieces one by one. Hearing the official news coming from their lawyers was earth shattering for her, it was too surreal.
Simón didn’t know what to do in this moment. He ‘can’ say things will get better, but he doesn’t want to give her false hope, doesn’t want to sugarcoat it. He feels that saying an advice in this instant would only make things worse so he does what he knows best, he hugs her. A quiet display of showing you’re there for that person, always.
When they hear Pedro enter the cafeteria with Delfi, Ámbar and Simón get up from their chairs and go back to work. Ámbar wipes away all the tears with her sleeve and tries to put more makeup to cover her puffy skin.
After two hours pass by, Luna enters with Nina. “Wow Luna I can’t believe he stood you up,” Nina replies. Simón overhears Nina’s comment and hurries over to Luna’s side. “Is this true? Matteo stood you up?” Luna starts trembling and tries to find the right words to say but nothing comes out of her mouth. “I-I- …... okay how do I explain this. Yes, he left me alone all night till the restaurant closed. When I was sitting on the bench in front waiting for my taxi, he arrived. He tried to explain to me that he lost track of time because Viviana was bothering him on filming more scenes for their music video. Basically, it’s all mess. This whole relationship has turned into a mess. He lied to me by not telling me he was going to be with Viviana. If he had told me, it would’ve been okay, but he didn’t, which is why I’m upset. If you lie to someone about being with another person that means you don’t want them to know, which most of the time indicates you’re hiding a secret.” Luna sighs from her mouthful of words.
“Luna, I don’t want to make it sound worse but you’re right. If he lied to you about being with Viviana, there’s a chance he’s hiding something. There’s no necessity to lie about filming with a coworker…. Unless he has feelings for that coworker. Sorry you have to go through all of this.” Simón hugs Luna and tries to console her. “Amiga, remember these are all assumptions we’re making. We don’t know the full truth so maybe he was keeping everything a secret for a reason. We are still missing parts of the story,” Nina advised. “I don’t think so Nina. I think I should just start moving on and start focusing more on me and you guys of course. Oh, that reminds me. How are those wedding plans going Simón?” Simon widely opens his eyes in shock and covers his mouth with his hand. “No no no nooooooo”
“Que paso Simón? Why are you so upset suddenly?” Luna asked.
“Ámbar and I have been so caught up with issues pertaining to the Jam and Roller that we completely forgot to prepare the wedding and plan everything out.”
Luna lays her hand on Simon’s shoulder, trying to comfort him. “Well, you don’t have to worry about that anymore because I can help with whatever you guys need.” “Yeah, me too,” Nina tags along.
“Also, what issues do you guys mean when ‘pertaining to the Jam and Roller?’” Luna questions.
“You’ll find out soon, and by soon I mean around…. now.” Simón states while staring at the clock.
Ámbar leaves the office carrying a clipboard and heads to the stage of the cafeteria. “May I get everyone’s attention! I have some disappointing news to say. For a while, Simon and I have constantly tried to negotiate with Vidia, in hopes that this beautiful place stays as it should. Sadly, our wishes were not met and Vidia has officially announced that it will be tearing this place down and selling the land. Sorry to be the bearer of this awful news, I wish I didn’t have to. I wish that the Jam and Roller can stay for generations and generations on. This place has been the spot where many of us have shared experiences together and won a few competitions. It deserves to stay here, but the owners disagree.”
Everyone gasps in astonishment. Some covering their mouths, some leaving it open, some having visible tears coming out. Everyone reacts as if the place was already completely gone and become a deserted land. Eric (Jandino) enters the place. “Hey guys what did I miss?” Everyone’s red puffy faces glance towards him. “Oof tough crowd huh?” Nina is the first to respond and make the situation a little less awkward. “The Jam and Roller is going to be teared down.” Eric stays speechless and just nods in response.
“This can’t be the end of this place. Are we really going to give up so quickly? Vidia tried to sell it and we were able to convince them not to. This time could be the same,” Luna exclaims.
“This time is different though because the investors don’t need this place anymore and no one wants to buy a skating rink since it’s ‘old fashion’ and ‘not modern.’ This place was in the market for months. Simón and I hoped someone would buy it but no one did. The only way for us to even have a chance to keep it is if someone purchased this place,” Ámbar refuted.
“That shouldn’t be so bad. All we have to do is find someone who is rich and has a kind heart,” Luna proudly states. “Luna are you insane? Where we are we going to find a kind, rich person? This isn’t a cartoon where stuff magically appears out of nowhere to help and save us. Yeah, that’s right Mickey, I’m talking about you and your “musketeer named Toodles,” we all know that’s fake.” Jazmin argued in front of her tablet camera.
“You are right... well on the first part. But I have an idea, maybe I can afford it!” Luna confidently states.
Ámbar gently brings Luna’s hopes down again. “I’ve already checked how much I have in the bank from the half you gave and doubled that and it’s still not enough for the place Luna.” Luna pouts, facing the ground. “Oh... well I guess never mind then.”
Delfi comes up with an idea. “Hey what about Matteo? He is rich now from being a star and all.” She then points to the man in sunglasses who had been staring at Luna ever since he arrived. Luna didn’t realize it till now. “If that’s what you guys want, I’ll buy it. How much does it cost?” Ámbar walks to Matteo. “I’m showing you in secret, so you don’t get embarrassed with your net worth not being enough,” Ámbar explained. “Oh please, it can’t be that bad.” Ámbar show’s him the clipboard and points to the bottom. Matteo begins to sweat. “Oh…... um guys I can afford it but then I’ll be broke with no where to live.”
“Great! I guess that means the Jam and Roller is saved then! Yay!” Jazmin yells out. “Jazmin we can’t force Matteo to do such a grand gesture either,” Gaston responds. “And why not?”
“Jazmin are you really asking that question after he said he would be broke?” Gaston added. “Yes, I don’t see the problem.” Gaston shakes his head and covers his eyes with his fingers from annoyance.
“You guys, it’s hopeless,” Ámbar announces and walks away, heading straight to her office.
Nina walks over to Luna’s side. “Why aren’t you so sad Luna? I mean of course I wouldn’t want you to be sad, but I thought the news would be devastating for you since you love this place so much.”
“This place isn’t getting teared down. At least not under my watch. I will find a way to keep this place the way it is. I will just need to do some research,” Luna persists. “Luna you never seize to surprise me. Whatever help you need, I’m right here,” Nina chuckles.
Eric approaches Nina and tries to comfort her. “Yeah, I bet this must be awful news for you guys. I know I wasn’t here long enough but one thing I know for sure is that this place is certainly magical.” Gaston views Eric close with Nina and he immediately rushes over. He places his arm around Nina’s waist. “Your Corazon will really stop going wowow if you keep flirting with my girl!” “Gaston!” Nina is shocked and tries to calm him down from his jealousy burning his own skin.
“Guys I think I’m going to head home. It’s been a rough morning and I barely got any sleep,” Luna waved goodbye to the gang. Gastón gestures over to Matteo letting him know Luna is leaving. Matteo runs over to the parking lot.
“Luna wait, can you give me a second to explain everything.” Matteo calls out to her. “Matteo, you’re the person I least want to talk to right now.”
“Luna I’m sorry. I’m sorry for arriving extremely late and standing you up. I’m sorry for not replying to all your calls and messages. I’m sorry I lied about the video with Viviana. I didn’t tell you though because I was worried you would get upset and think I remotely like the girl,” Matteo confesses.
“Hah so you’ve even noticed that she’s been extremely close and has been flirting with you,” Luna attested.
“What no? It’s not like that at all. You’re just jealous.” Luna turns around and displays a furious expression, this is the moment when Matteo noticed he had chosen the wrong set of words. “Jealous? That’s what you think of me? Maybe you’re just too blinded by fame to realize she’s constantly glued to you. Haven’t you noticed that when she talks to you, she gradually grows closer and closer to you and whenever you two go out she tries to hold your arm and pull you in tight. I’ve seen all the paparazzi videos so I know. Plus, she’s always calling you. She calls you more than your own manager does,” Luna argued.
“Oh please Luna, you’re just being delusional.” Matteo hears his phone ringing. He pulls it out and notices it’s Viviana calling him. “Yet I’m the delusional one, you have just become so full of yourself you can barely even notice what’s actually going on,” Luna walks away. “Wait, Luna please don’t go.” This time she doesn’t listen to him and keeps walking away without a slight turn of her head.
Luna’s Home
Luna enters her room and throws herself in bed. It’s barely Sunday and Luna feels a whole tornado of emotions have taken over her body. She doesn’t feel like doing anything, not even taking off her socks from wearing her shoes or wiping off her light makeup. She grabs her blanket and tries to fall asleep on top of her bed.
After an hour has passed, her mom knocks on her door and gently opens it. She sees her daughter sleeping and tries to lightly pat her. Luna’s eyelashes wiggle and brush against her skin. She slowly wakes up. “I brought you some breakfast, just thought maybe you haven’t eaten and were probably hungry.” Luna happily smiles. “Mom you know me too.” Monica smiles back too and hands her a tray of waffles with strawberries. Ah strawberries. The least she needed was to be reminded of “el chico fresa.” Her smile slowly disappears and turns into a frown.
“Hija, lately I’ve been seeing you all down in the dumps. Always depressed and never wanting to do much other than sleep. Are you okay? This isn’t normally like you,” Monica sincerely concerned, looks at Luna in the eyes.
“Everything just seems to be falling apart. Not just dealing with Matteo and I’s relationship ending but also the Jam and Roller too. Apparently Vidia is planning to tear it down and the only way for us to be able to have the chance to keep the Jam and Roller intact is to purchase it but none of us can afford such a high price.”
Monica nods and tries to conjure up an idea. Eventually one crosses her mind. “Luna, I’m shocked you didn’t think of this earlier, especially since it deals with your favorite hobby in ‘el mundo mundial,’” Monica says.
“What does skating have to do with this?” Luna laughs.
“Competitions. I know there’s some competitions out there in which the grand prize is a sum of money. Why don’t you guys enter one and try to compete.” Luna lets go of her fork and soon becomes energetic. “Mom that is genius!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!” Luna yells out and tightly hugs her mom.
“Well you know what they say, us moms are geniuses,” Monica chuckles. Luna hastily grabs her computer and retrieves to her bed. She opens up the laptop and begins typing and searching through. “Well Luna I guess I shall leave you to it. Glad I was able to help. Love you hija.” Monica kisses Luna’s forehead and leaves. “Love you too mom!”
After searching for hours, Luna is able to find a competition in which the grand prize pays most of the Jam and Roller price tag. When calculating the percentages, Luna notices that what’s left to pay after all the costs are taken up, is affordable for the whole gang. She jumps up and down all around her bedroom with content pouring out of her. The Jam and Roller finally has a chance to stay. Maybe things can even go back to old times when they all skated together.

Flashback Solo Para: You Can’t Keep Me Quiet
Trigger warnings: Death, gore, violence, Tayen/Celena
Victoria points to an actor onstage when daddy asks her who forgot their blocking, making him chuckle a bit at her antics. But then she crosses her arms. “No, daddy, look!”
She opens his script and points to what he’d written himself. Reading it, he pauses before chuckling. “Well, I’ll be. She’s right. You were supposed to cross after your line, not during it. Good job, Tori.”
Victoria beams as he ruffles her hair and then the scene resumes. She continues sitting in her dad’s lap, watching the actors onstage in awe.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Bye, mom!” The fourteen-year-old waves to her mother before flitting out the door. Dad’s sick, so she’s covering for him with the troupe today. She’s a little anxious-- she’s been her dad’s assistant director for so long, stepping into his shoes was a huge step.
Luckily it was only a table reading of their new production set for the winter. She notes the immediate confusion from the actors when she flies in alone. “Daddy’s sick today. He left me in charge.”
With that, she passes out the scripts he’d given her for the actors and stage crew and settles in to lead a proper table reading. This was going to be good, she thinks, hearing the characters come to life before they’re even blocking.
She can’t wait for this show.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Except, it doesn’t happen, because that night the world turns upside down. Victoria leaves their rehearsal space late but she notices immediately that there’s a chill in the air... like something horrible has happened. And she’s not sure what until she looks at the moon... and that can’t be right.
She’s flies home as fast as she can carry herself, which may not be anything compared to her mother but it’s still pretty good. Vidia meets her at the door, having been about to go out looking for her. “Mom, what’s going on?”
“I’m not sure yet. Get inside.” Vidia is quick to pull her inside before anything else can happen, and Victoria shivers a bit.
Whatever was happening out there, she had a bad feeling it was only going to get worse from here.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And she’d been right, of course. An old friend had gone off the deep end, Pixie Hollow was suffering so badly, and...
She couldn’t sit idly by as people suffered and died. So she’d forged a trail, even if it was outside her talent, one that could take others to the mainland. And she began running people, usually children, along her newfound escape trail, out of Pixie Hollow.
Using an alias, Blackbird, she spread the word through rumors and whispers. Only to people she didn’t know, so they’d never identify her by name. It was through this she met Raine and Silva. They wanted to help, after another run had been forced to disband after getting caught.
At fifteen years old, Victoria was way out of her depth. So she couldn’t argue with the idea of getting help from the two, and before she knew it she had an entire operation, with others joining the three of them and allowing people to alternate nights. Never once telling her parents, as badly as she wanted them to leave Pixie Hollow.
They wouldn’t leave her. And she couldn’t leave, not now. People needed her.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But that changes one night. Raine dies in her arms, making her promise to escape with this run. This was her operation... but she passes it along to Silva. Because she promised, and if things hadn’t been this way in Pixie Hollow... it’s possible that she and Raine-- no, River, she corrects herself-- would have, could have, had something more.
But they didn’t, and wouldn’t, and now Victoria was without her parents, alone in this strange new world, and terrified for her life.
She wishes things were different. She wishes she didn’t hurt this much. But they weren’t and she does and there’s nothing she can do about it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But now there’s Dean, and she doesn’t know what she thinks of him. But she does know what she thinks of her.
She’ll never be the girl someone can love. Her past is too dark, her life is too much for someone to handle her. She’s suffered so much, and her mind keeps her trapped in that suffering... nobody could help her.
Nobody could handle her.
Nobody will want her.
But Victoria is a performance talent fairy. She can put on a show, hide how broken she is, hide how hurt and terrified she is, and hide how much she cares for the charming boy.
It’s a piece of cake.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When her parents arrive, Victoria feels something stir in her gut. A fire she thought she’d lost after she ran away.
Because Tayen is here. She’s in Auradon and Victoria won’t let her take this place the way she took Pixie Hollow. Victoria can’t let her parents be in danger ever again.
As she holds onto them, hugging her father tightly, she begins to make a plan. Auradon will see Tayen for what she really is, a monster, a killer, a dictator, and they won’t let it happen here.
And they’ll save Pixie Hollow.
She doesn’t care what it takes.
Victoria Adlon is going to go home again. And she’s going to save her people. Somehow. Some way.

very basic timeline of spy au
saphael past
simon gets assigned job by luke and says his goodbye to the sh gang (minus magnus for now?)
he flies over to raphs location and introduces hmself. and they meet and such.
so then its just super lowkey. simon makes contact with base to let them know hes okay
then they have dinner my god already so romantic i hate them
but then raphael leaves to see his lil bro (hes engaged!!) and to cover someones shift at work
he returns back to see simon still working bc “im a night owl” and then falls asleep on simon
simon smiles and gently closes his laptop and goes to sleep too. he drapes a blanket over them first and sets an alarm for raphael
raphael wakes up in the morning and has such a cheesy smile on his face like wth
but he gets up and then makes breakfast for him + simon for when he wakes and leaves
simon wakes up and is like?? what happened?? but sees the food and is like! AWWW
anyways he goes about his day but also gets kinda bored and he isnt sure where the tv remote is so he starts watching on his laptop
raphael walks in to see a nerdy boy crying as he yells “GO GET HIM” at his screen and is like??
simon tells him to come over obv. and raphael just says no and angrily stalks upstairs
and simon is curious. so he goes upstairs and is like what happened
and raphael doesnt say shit bc hes still a stranger
so simon just brings his laptop and he sits next to raphael even tho hes still at a distance they watch some movie
and honestly its so nice. and once again they fall asleep on each other.
anyways this adorable thing keeps continuing until THE FRIENDS come over
and simon is like!! gotta impress them even tho he and raph arent dating yet
but his friends come over for dinner and are all sizing up simon like. is he good enough and who tf is so special they would make raphael smile
they decide they like him. very much.
more just getting to know each other until one day simon is like. i want a tour of the city gimme
so thats what they do bc its raphaels day off or w.e.
and theyre going around and being SUPER cheesy but its fine. its not like raphael cares
theyre getting to know other random facts about each other like fave __ bc simon points to things and is like!!!!!!
then. they find vidia and just cant leave
he sits down and is like. i’ll wait for the parent to come so the baby isnt all alone
and raphael is about to say that no one is going to come this baby was/is abandoned
but he doesnt have the heart so he sits down next to him
is ofc v good with babies. simon is not but its fine
but it gets to be night and no one came but simon is adamant. so they stay ALL FUCKING NIGHT WITH THIS BABY (except for one time when they left to get food)
and again. no one comes so theyre about to leave but then raphael says fuck it and they take the baby with them (they’ll real with the legal stuff later)
and ofc simon is still simon so hes like. we need to name her, and also put up posters JUST in case
they do that. but for naming they are very very argumentative.
raphael says the last name is rose bc they found a rose next to her and she has such a nice rosy face and simon agrees
simon wants to name her something disney related like vidia [bc he saw it recently and it was THE BEST]
raphael is like no?? lets name her something proper.
they still argue but decide to call her vidia SOMETHING rose
w.e. they continue and then it hits simon...soon hes gonna leave
and he realizes he doesnt wanna leave. not raphael or vidia
anyways they keep tiptoeing around this love thing they have
and they keep falling for each other as time goes on
eventually one night vidia is sleeping and theyre just watching some show
and theyre cuddling and raphael just leans down and kisses the top of his head
and simon...doesnt move away
he looks up sure. and they make eye contact and slowly come in closer...theres music playing from the show...their lips meet...
they start a relationship
nothing really changes they just...kiss more
and then raphael is like?? i gotta take you on a proper date FUCK
so they go clubbing bc simon insisted
simon gets rlly drunk and like. hooks up with some guy he thought was raphael but in the morning realizes HE WASNT FUCK
he tries to play it off tho and lie to raphael
“i woke up in a parkng lot” or smth but he lies
he doesnt tell about his hooking up no....someone else does
and raphael gets SO angry
not at the hooking up but the lie and betrayal
he doesnt talk to simon for weeks
they have this weird relationship where they work together for vdia but not together...
it makes simon go crazy and he almost leaves
but he also gets sick of it so he gets raphael to talk
and they kinda make things better. they arent the same but they amend it a bit
then!! they also gotta go to a wedding (raphaels lil bro)
and simon is a p r o he gets the job DONE
he kills valentine and has a dance with raphael so a+ work tbqh
he lets his orginzaiton know. but asks for one more week to stay bc raphael
but then he overhears raphael talking [to camille whos also at the wedding] and learns that raphael is an assassin
but he refuses to believe it. he also goes home tho and the car ride is super awk but he refuses to believe it. or talk about it
when he gets home raphael goes into the shower and simon just. cant let go of the feeling. he goes into raphaels room and goes digging
finds a file. on him
raphael walks in and is like?? the hell are you doing but simon is so angry
he yells he screams he throws things and then he picks up vidia from the little crib and runs. just runs and runs.
he finds a bus stop and gets on it still running. from raphael. from everything.
he makes contact with lydia who get shim to a house
the end
the beginning
simon and vidia are chilling
when like simon gets scared suddenly and orders her to upstairs
its too fuckng late and someone breaks open the door
someone being raphael
vidia gets knocked out and when she comes to shes so ???
and raphael is cryptic like hello child who is my daughter
and vidia is just. not taking it. and is jsut really confused
but then a bomb suddenly goes off and simon thrusts her towards raphael
and they run
she gets knocked out for like the second time that day
when she finally comes to again raphael is bandaging himself up
(she is already bandaged up)
she demands to be let go and is just. no she doesnt know this person she needs to go save her dad
and he gives like a hallow laugh and tells her that there is no saving her dad
hes gone most likely
but vidia is still held in disbelief and just doesnt believe any ofit
in fact she doesnt even know whATS happening and so very slowly he tells her
well about the spying and that he and his father had a disagreement
(he doesnt say shit about camille)
she still is just very adamant on leaving and doesnt believe it (refuses to) and so she still demands to be freed
he frees her and lets her go
she walks around bandaged and so confused/lost as to where she is
she meets a nice lookng girl and asks for directions
the girl offers to how her the way and walks along with her
she asks what vidia is doing all alone and very hesitantly vidia just says that she + her dad got hurt and separated
they walk and the girl says that yeah shes an orphan too and you know. gets more information out of vidia
they get to the house [remains of the house] and just. everything is a mess
and she sees raphael arrogantly standing and is s o angry
and is about to tell him off
but all he does is hand her a file where there are actual pics + documents
and just. a part of vidia knows its makes sense with all the closed doors and whispers
and raphael also gently remains her that he’ll let her keep running if thats what she wants but he’ll still be following her/watching her
and vidia is just. really tired but shes also really curious and she kinda agrees
they go to the hq [aka hotel dumort] and vidia gets her own private room and wanders around for a bit
she gets so lost because everything is so big but finallly finds like. the kitchen and remembers oh shit i gotta eat
she eats
soon enough guess who comes strolling in?? lita
and vidia is so caught off guard and also so annoyed?? LIKE WTH
lita smirks and takes an apple watching her
she briefly explains with a smrik that shes a con artist. she knows how to manipulate and vidia get sso angry its so funny
i need more plot points but basically they train her and she gets to know lita + raphael and she finds out more about her past. and about the other relatives that know about it and is just so !? and then she also goes around stealing and fighting corrupt and fighting her father

“Roads That Cross... with Handwritings” (Ch3)
You can read the previous chapters here: (1), (2)
Quick note: in this universe Emma doesn’t exist. Or she does, but she’s in England. This is not because I hate her or anything (on the contrary, I quite liked her character) but because in this timeline her whole character would be useless. Ámbar really doesn’t need more motivation to fight for Simón that she already has, so what would be the point of throwing Emma in here if she’d just be in the background doing nothing? kjsdnf
Anyway, that’s that. Thank for reading this oneshot that somehow turned into a multichapter.
Being the manager of the Roller was way more work than she thought it would be.
Technically she had the directors of Vidia to help her out, but in truth, she had mountains of paperwork to fill out on her own and some of them she didn’t even understand. She got down to it, putting all her effort into doing it perfectly because she needed to prove that she could handle it, but it was turning out to be difficult.
Which sucked, not only because she was stressed out but because it had prevented her from talking to Simón since that morning.
And they really needed to talk.
Last night had been… something. Sure, it was out of impulse, but it had been great. Best night of her life, probably. The only problem? That they were found out right after, and, as always, Simón freaked out. Well, she freaked out too, it’s not like she enjoyed being found covered only by a sheet and in a compromising position where there was no way to misinterpret the situation. But she knew how she felt, she knew what she wanted and she had gotten it… or so she thought, because he didn’t seem so convinced.
All that time telling Emilia she wasn’t going to fall for Simón… it was so laughable because she never fell out of love with him. And she tried, believe her, she tried. But it was like he could disarm her with just one look. One smile.
Lately, he didn’t smile at her that often.
She knew Emilia thought he was a loser, but she didn’t think so. Half the things she had spat at him the previous day she didn’t mean them. Okay, maybe sometimes she did think he was a coward, but she knew that he didn’t believe he was better than her. Simón wasn’t the kind of person that thought he was better than anyone; Benicio was.
Oh, Benicio.
She did kind of feel bad for him. A little. He acted like he just wanted to be with her to have a partner in crime and because she was beautiful though, so it'd probably only be a blow for his ego, but still. Kissing someone else would've been one thing, but having totally mind-blowing sex with said person? That was something else entirely.
But what she had told Simón was true: she never said anything about dating. She liked letting Benicio say that in front of Simón because she expected to get a reaction out of him, but it was never her intention to date him seriously. She even told him plenty of times that he shouldn’t get confused, that she knew what she wanted and it wasn’t him.
She shouldn’t have used him like that, that was her bad.
Anyway, there was no point in crying over something she couldn’t change— what was done was done. What she could change was what would come after… and that was why she needed to talk to Simón. She needed to let him know what it had meant to her, what he meant for her because she didn’t have the strength to deny it anymore.
And she needed to do something about Benicio because, if she wanted to be with Simón, he was in the way. But she didn’t have time to do that either. She’d break up with him right now over text but she wasn’t that heartless. These were things you’re supposed to do in person. And besides… she didn’t want to end up alone if Simón still didn’t want her.
Which she was starting to think was the case, because every time their eyes had met that day, he had looked away instantly.
God, she wanted to shake him. How could it be possible for him to act so distant after spending the night together? Did it not mean anything at all for him? No, he must have felt something, there was no way he didn't. She could still hear his raspy voice saying that he was crazy for her… but then again, maybe it was a heat of the moment thing. Ugh, how could things be so messed up?
Maybe he thought she didn’t feel anything? After all his monologue of them being different and saying she refuses to be better maybe he was scared of that. How could she prove that this was serious for her? How could she show him that, with him, her walls and defenses didn’t work? That she didn’t want to feel but she couldn’t get him out of her heart? How could she show him that she was willing to do things right for him?
She could tell him but words didn’t seem to work between them. Last night was an example of that.
What about actions then? Was there anything she could do as a gesture of good faith?
As she filled up the papers of the Roller’s inventory and deliveries, she came up with an idea.
**********************************
It was afternoon when Simón witnessed alongside his friends how Ámbar gathered everyone and announced her idea of making a Flash Open. All day long they had been exchanging looks from afar, but he quickly looked away every time it happened.
He still wasn’t over the fact that he had slept with his boss. No, they hadn’t just ‘slept’ together— They'd had completely screwed each other's brains out, which was a whole different matter and it made his temperature rise only thinking about it. He only wished he had been thinking before any of it happened, or during, instead of just throwing himself at her without a care in the—
Wait.
Simón put down the rental skates he had been fixing in the lockers room and racked his brain for a memory of last night. A memory he didn’t find, because it didn’t happen.
Oh god, he hadn’t worn a condom.
Simón whined and dug his face in his hands. How stupid could he be?!
So not only he had slept with Ámbar, who was in a relationship, and was his boss, but he also hadn’t thought about protecting themselves while at it.
This was just great.
But she hadn’t said anything either so maybe she had that covered. That was most probably the case now that he thought about it. Ámbar was a smart girl, not like him who was an idiot.
He’d still had to ask her though, he had to make sure.
Hell, how had he ended up in this mess? …Okay, he knew exactly how, he remembered quite clearly. But the thing now was, how did he get things back to normal? …Did he want them to?
He loved Ámbar, he knew he loved her, but she was dating someone else and she was still adamant on keeping this dark façade. He knew he loved the real Ámbar but… did he love this one as well? If she never changed back to who she used to be, would he be okay with that?
It would get him in trouble with his friends, with his team… Actually, it pretty much would only mean trouble.
But he was still considering it and that said something. Especially when she said she wanted the Open Music to be a boys vs girls so they could all get over their differences and put an end to the war between teams. His heart really soared at hearing that, at seeing her smile at everyone and talk about peace. He caught a glimpse of the Ámbar he knew she could be, and he thought maybe, just maybe, the idea of going back to her wasn't so crazy after all.
… Then he compared Benicio’s handwriting with the number of Felipe Mendevilla and he grabbed all of those previous thoughts and sent them to hell.
************************************
Ámbar was taking out the green folder that had the documents she needed from under the bar table when Simón approached her suddenly.
“I need to talk to you."
Ámbar looked at him with surprise. After all his avoiding, she'd thought she would have to be the one to approach him first.
“Me too," she said earnestly, glad that he had come to her. “I’ve been meaning to all day, but I have all this work and—”
“It’ll be quick," he interrupted her, and that was when she noticed he looked serious, almost like he was mad.
Concerned, she put the folder down on the bar and decided she could spare a few minutes, especially since she'd been wanting to talk to him all day. “Alright."
Simón opened his mouth but then seemed to reconsider and sealed his lips. He started again, seeming more sheepish than grim this time.
“Actually, it’s two things. The first one it's that, um… Well, I realized that we didn’t— I mean, I didn’t…” He looked around like checking no one was near before whispering the next part “…wear any protection last night, which was totally irresponsible of me, so I need to know if you…”
He left the question hanging, but the meaning was clear. Now Ámbar understood why he looked so serious. She hurried to ease his mind.
“I’m on the pill, don’t worry."
Simón relaxed a little at hearing that, but then just as quickly, he tensed back up and a grimace soured his face. “Right. Benicio. How could I forget," he remarked, bringing his gaze elsewhere.
Ámbar’s eyes widened.
“What? No, no, it’s not because of him. We haven’t— It’s not that," she rushed to explain “I just started taking them with Matteo and never stopped cause it helps with the cramps and regulates your cycle." Aaand in her rush said more than she probably needed to. But whatever, it was common stuff.
Simón nodded as he processed that.
“And now that we’re finally talking about it," she continued, taking advantage of his silence to get all out of her chest, “I want you to know that—”
“Actually, Ámbar…” He interrupted again, looking down as he said the next words. “… I think it’ll be better if we forget about what happened."
Her heart stopped.
“…What?”
She couldn’t have heard that right.
Simón remained silent. She huffed out a laugh, weak and mirthless. “You’re not serious. Look at you, you can’t even look me in the eyes.”
He looked up then, and she almost wished he hadn't because the brown of his eyes, usually warm like sweet, melted chocolate, looked as cold as ice when they locked with hers.
“I am serious.”
There was no uncertainty she could hold onto anymore— He did mean it.
Her heart, which had seemed suspended in time since he first suggested it, finally fell. She had hoped it had meant something for him…
How could it not mean something for him? How dare he?
“Oh, I get it. You got what you wanted so now we’re done, is that it?” She said, crossing her arms in front of her, her voice dripping with venom.
Simón looked scandalized. “Of course not! Ámbar—”
“You’re the worst, I can’t believe you!” She accused with pain. She thought he was different, she thought he was a nice guy, she thought—
“I’m telling you is not about that!" Simón defended, and he really looked outraged that she thought that.
“Then what is it?” She asked, not knowing what to believe anymore.
“This!”
Ámbar watched as he took out two torn out pages and showed them to her.
“What? Two pieces of paper? Are you kidding me?” She said, offended because it didn’t seem relevant and had nothing to do with anything.
Paying no mind to her tone, he pointed to each one with a grim face.
“This is the list of songs that Benicio said he’d agree to sing with us in the Open. He has been impossible to work with by the way," he noted with frustration. “And this is Felipe Mendevilla’s phone number. Or so we thought because, if you look at the handwriting, they’re pretty similar, and I find it very weird that after asking to see Luna right away he’d just go on a trip and don’t return her calls… So, my question is: Did you guys change Felipe’s number?”
Ámbar felt her heart rate rise as he looked at her. Now it all made sense— His bleak, serious expression, his cold attitude. He knew. He wanted confirmation but he knew.
He wasn’t supposed to find out about that; no one was. It was clear that he was mad, and she couldn’t help but think that this was the worst timing possible for him to find out about this. Why did her past always have to come to bite her when it came to him?
She thought about denying it but there was close to no point. Then she thought about begging him to forgive her but she quickly got rid of that idea. She was Ámbar Smith, she didn’t beg. And also, she could see why this would bother him but it was still not excuse to ignore what happened between them.
He thought he could sleep with her one day and the next jump at the first opportunity to accuse her? That it would somehow erase his actions? That was not how it worked.
She crossed her arms in front of her and looked at him, defiant. “So what if we did? What’s the big deal?”
There. At least she was going to own her doings.
Simón looked at her with wide eyes.
“What do you mean 'what’s the big deal'? It’s horrible!” He said outraged, which in turn made her outraged.
“What we did is horrible? What about what you did?” She retorted, all the anger from the past days coming back at her.
“What did we do?” He asked, having the nerve to look clueless.
“You ruined our festival!” She growled. The memory of that day, of them entering the rink only to find the bleachers empty, was still fresh in her mind. The soul-eating disappointment had left too big an indentation to just forget. “We lost a huge professional opportunity as skaters because of you!”
Simón looked at her disapprovingly. “We didn’t ruin anything, and Luna doesn’t deserve any of this."
He sounded so sorry for Luna that she had to roll her eyes. “Is just a phone number, she won’t die."
Simón didn’t seem to see it that way though.
“It’s not just a phone number because, what if Felipe had an awesome offer for her? She’s very talented and he saw that and maybe now that offer is lost forever because you changed that number."
“I’m very talented as well and I could’ve received a thousand offers, but I didn’t, and you know why? Because of her. So now we’re even."
Simón's eyes looked at her for a long time. The annoyance made way to sympathy, even sadness.
“Ámbar... I understand you’re angry and that you were hurt by what happened with the festival. Sometimes we do things we shouldn’t when we’re angry. But... I mean, open your eyes, Ámbar."
All his body language seemed to be begging for her to understand what he was saying, and she did, deep down she did but—
“In my eyes, she’s at fault. She’s the one that deprived me of this and I- I’m furious with her. I can’t control it, my blood boils and I can’t help it," she confessed.
She was frustrated to no end. It wasn’t fair that her festival was ruined after they worked so hard. It wasn’t fair the audience changed the choreography they rehearsed so much for a spontaneous one on the street. It wasn’t fair that Luna always got what she wanted while she didn’t— None of it was fair.
“I can see that," Simón replied, solemn. "But you can’t just keep doing these things, you’re just sinking yourself lower."
Sinking herself lower?
“You didn’t seem to care about any of that last night," she spat.
She wasn’t going to let him lecture her after what he had done, what they had done together. Maybe he was eager to forget, but she wasn’t going to let him do it so easily.
Simón’s mouth shut and he looked away, checking once more for any eavesdropping. She was half expecting him to change the subject again, but instead, he closed his eyes and sighed. When he opened them again and stared into hers, there was no judgment anymore. He didn’t look mad or distant. He was looking at her openly for the first time since everything and it made her slacken her stance. She let her arms fall to her sides, immediately missing their comfort, but willing to brace it as he spoke with honesty for once.
“Ámbar, what happened between us was… intense. And I won’t tell you that I didn’t want it because I’d be lying. But I think we can both agree that we let it get too far. I mean, you have a boyfriend and—"
“I already told you that—”
“—And, even if that wasn’t an issue, I can’t be with someone that wants to hurt my friends."
Ámbar felt a pang in her chest.
“She hurt me first!” She bemoaned, trying to make him see from her point of view. It wasn't like she had done it out of evilness— Luna had taken something from her again, so all she did was get even.
Simón took a step closer to her and his eyes locked with hers with kindness.
“Ámbar… I get it. I understand that you can’t control how you feel. But I also know that… the Ámbar I like knows that it was wrong."
His eyes danced between hers and Ámbar felt her anger subdue. How did he do that? How could he ease her with just one look?
“… Maybe, I don’t know," she found herself whispering. Maybe she just wanted to be the Ámbar he could see in her. Or maybe, without the anger, she really did regret it— she didn’t know.
But she liked the little smile that he gave her.
“See? You doubted there. That’s step one. And I’m gonna give you the chance to take the next one."
Ámbar frowned. “What are you talking about?”
His smile turned bigger as he spoke matter-of-factly. “You’re gonna talk to Luna. You’re gonna tell her everything and apologize, sincerely."
Her eyes widened. “What? No, I’m not.” One thing was admitting to him that it was wrong, another very different thing was saying that to Luna.
He looked like he knew she was going to object, but he didn’t recede.
“Ámbar, I could tell her myself. But I wanna give you this chance to fix things. Because I believe that deep down you regret it, and that this isn’t you. I believe that you’re hurt and that’s why you lash out but you don’t really want to be fighting all the time. You just need a chance to do things right, and I trust you will. Because I believe the real Ámbar is still in there…  Please, please don’t prove me wrong."
There were those begging eyes again. They were always begging her for something: to be nicer, to be honest, to feel… But this time they were asking her not to break his trust in her, to not let him down.
And that was the last thing she wanted.
“Okay. I’ll talk to Luna."
A huge weight seemed to lift from his shoulders as he smiled. “Thank you."
They stared at each other for a moment longer until he seemed to realize what he was doing and he looked away, clearing his throat awkwardly.
“Here," he said, grabbing the green folder and handing it to her. “I won’t take away any more of your time, sorry.”
“It’s okay," she said as she received it. Their hands touched when she did, but neither said anything about it.
Muttering he should get back to work, Simón turned around and walked towards the lockers.
Ámbar saw him go as she hugged the folder to her chest.
She hoped she had made the right decision.
************************************
Ámbar spent the rest of the day working, convincing Emilia and Benicio that the Open was a good idea for their public image (which wasn’t a lie; it really could work to their advantage) and rehearsing with the rest of the girls for their music number.
She was exhausted, so she climbed to her bedroom right after she ate something and she was about to go in when she heard her name.
Simón had also been working and rehearsing with the guys, so he hadn’t gotten the chance to talk to her again since before. So, he chose to do it before going to sleep because he really needed to settle that issue.
“Ámbar."
She turned towards him with a little smile.
“Why, hello there. Came for your goodnight kiss?” Ámbar purred as she got closer, and even if it was just a second, he couldn’t help his eyes from glancing at her lips. Damn it.
“No. I came to ask if you talked to Luna yet," he said resolutely, because he was resolute. He had decided yesterday that this matter was top priority over anything else. He had decided to forget about what happened, cross it out as a moment of weakness and go back to his old life where he respected boundaries and knew what was best for him. Love had made him blind, but that thing with Felipe’s number was a wake-up call for him.
Kisses weren’t apologies, and not because she wanted him it meant she had returned to the Ámbar he knew. It wasn’t that easy, no matter how much he wished it was.
And it would be hard, because every time he looked at her he had flashbacks of their night together, it was engraved in his mind.
But he was going to be strong. If not for him, for Luna.
“Why the rush? It’s only been one day," she pointed out, and because she noticed his slip up, she inched even closer, her own eyes staring at his lips before returning to his brown ones. “Or perhaps you’re using this as an excuse to get closer to me?”
No, it is a reason to stay away from you, he thought.
He took a step back. “I’m serious, Ámbar."
She had been trying to lift the mood with some teasing but, apparently, that wasn’t an option.
She sighed. “No, I haven’t—" He opened his mouth to protest so she hurried to continue. “I know, I know, and I will, really. But I’ve been too busy coordinating the Flash Open and taking care of all the legal paperwork of the Roller; I haven’t got the time."
“Well, you’re at home now. Luna literally lives here as well, talk to her," he stated as if it was obvious.
She looked at him like he was crazy. “I can’t just go ahead and do it like that, it has to be in good timing!”
“And what would good timing be?”
She shrugged. “I don’t know, I’m waiting for it."
He gave her a look, not amused by that response at all. He shook his head and tried once more to make her see how important this was.
“Ámbar, do you realize that I’m putting my friendship with Luna at risk for you? This is a big deal and I’m keeping quiet because of you, but if you don’t tell Luna soon—”
“Tell me what?”
Both turned at the same time, seeing Luna appear out of nowhere. She was looking at them with a question mark on her face and Ámbar felt her mouth go dry.
She looked at Simón and he looked back at her.
“Ámbar here has something to tell you," he told his best friend as he looked at Ámbar dead in the eye.
“What do you have to tell me?” Luna asked in all innocent curiosity and Ámbar had never felt more on the spot. Simón was urging her to tell her but she couldn’t, not now, she hadn’t even prepared herself.
As fast as she could, she made something up.
“I… was talking to Simón about tomorrow’s Open. I had this new idea of having two solo performances, one for each team, and I was wondering if you’d like to be the representative for the girls."
Simón blinked. What?
“Wow, really? Of course! I’d love to!” Luna exclaimed, looking at Simón all smiley and excited. He couldn’t do anything but smile back, even if it was fake. “Thank you so much," she said to Ámbar, and he seized the opportunity that she wasn’t looking at him to throw daggers at Ámbar with his eyes.
But he didn’t give her away. He was frustrated but he understood that it was hard for her. He still had hope that she’d talk to her on her own, he still wanted to believe that she would.
So he just followed Luna downstairs, hoping he had made the right decision in trusting her.
Ámbar saw them disappear and wiped the fake smile from her face. Trust Luna to appear at the worst timing possible— Did she have a superpower that told her when someone was talking about her? It sure as hell seemed like that sometimes. Or maybe she just loved to interrupt others' conversations in general.
Anyway, that wasn’t the most important part here.
Ámbar walked inside her room and sat on her bed as she recalled the last thing Simón had told her.
He said he was risking his friendship with Luna because of her. Luna was his best friend, she had seen plenty of times how much he cared about her— He wouldn’t jeopardize that for just anyone. But he was doing it, for her.
That meant that he really cared about her, that had to be the reason.
And she was gonna make him admit it.

A Dangerous Game
Genre: Fluff, Angry Angst
KpopMember: BTS Min Yoongi
Summary: A big race is coming up and Yoongi doesn’t want you to compete.
Tumblr media
“Yoongi~ I’m home!” You called as you took off your boots, and placed your back pack down onto the ground.
“I’m in the kitchen,” Yoongi said back with a stuffed face. You walked into a kitchen as Yoongi sat at the table stuffing his face with food,
“Ooh looks good~” You sang as you sat down in front of him and started stuffing your face with the food.
“Y/N?” Yoongi called, you looked up at him innocently. “What have you been doing?” He asked you sat up, a little surprised by the tone of his voice.
“I went to practice today, it ran a little late because my car broke down... “ You muttered before you continued eating. “Y/N... Can I be honest with you?” He sighed, you nodded as you drank some beer to wash down the food before clearing your throat. “Yeah of course what’s up?” You asked, “Do you really have to do this race...?” He asked quietly,
“Yoongi, I mean it’s my job. I’m a professional racer.” You giggled lightly, “But, why?” He asked again, “What do you mean ‘Why’? It’s like you in the recording studio it’s what I do.” You sighed as you grabbed a piece of chicken from the bin.
“But I’m not risking my life!” He snapped, you jumped in shock as you looked up at him. “Min Yoongi we are not going over this again.” You scoffed, taking a swig of your beer.
“No Y/N! I-I don’t want you to get hurt like last time!” He yelled as you slammed your beer bottle onto the table as you looked up at him.
“Min Yoongi that was two years ago, it was a rookie mistake...” You protested.
“Bull shit!! You laid there in that car unconscious your head bleeding and you laid there DEAD!” He screamed, “But I’m not dead, and stop yelling you’re giving me a head ache. “ You groaned as you pinched the bridge of your nose.
“Oh I’m giving you a head ache? At least I’m not killing myself!”
“Then how am I killing myself, It’s driving!!!” You screamed, “It’s a murdered street and you know it!” He screamed back, standing up violently, the chair falling back as his face grew red in anger.
“What the fuck are you even talking about?! That’s if you don’t know what you're doing!”
“Then explain two years ago!” He yelled, his arms flailing around in anger.
“Min Yoongi sit down, it’s late stop yelling. “ You said quietly.
“No! I don’t want you to go to that race! I’m not letting you crash like that again!” He yelled,
“Min Yoongi! That happened two fucking years ago! Get over it!” You yelled back.
“I’m not letting you go to that race, No. You’re not going.” He scoffed, smiling at you as if he won. It pissed you off, you smashed the beer bottle onto the ground.
“When you stay over night in the studio with no food, sleep or water I don’t tell you you’re killing yourself!! I let you go to your year long concerts! I let you do your job then why don’t you let me do mine!!?” You screamed back.
“Because it’s stupid!! What girl would want to drive a car to her death!!” He yelled back,
“Wow...” You muttered, Yoongi calmed down as he looked up at you. “Y/N.. I-I’m so sorry-”
“Yoongi, shut up. If you feel that way then I might as well leave. I thought you were better than this.” You sighed, walking out the kitchen and to the front door.
“Y/N where are you going-” He asked, walking after you.
“Nowhere you need to know, I have a race to compete in and I don’t need any of this shit. I’ll see you when I win.” You stated and walked out the door with a slam.
Tonight was the night you beat everyone's ass. You smiled at the competition, looking at the VIP booth as BTS even Yoongi waved at you, fangirling as they held up signs and screaming their lungs out.
“So, Y/N. Ready to get your ass beat?” A girl snickered, you rolled your eyes as you turned over to see Vidia, you scoffed. Smirking up at her as your arms crossed at your chest.
“I wouldn’t bet on it coming from you the last Grand Prix, “ You sighed, She scoffed,
“It was a rookie mistake. “ She stated, “Like all your other ‘ Rookie Mistakes? ‘ Man if that was your only excuse I would have just quit to train.” You laughed.
“My only excuse?” She grumbled. “Yeah, because if I wasn’t in the races. You may have had a better chance at winning, without your rookie mistakes.” You stated,
“Right, But I please my fans. I don’t need a K-pop star to get where I need to be.” She said, “Really? You’re really gonna bring my boyfriend into this? How low can you be?” You scoffed.
“I don’t know you tell me. “ She smiled, Rolling your eyes, you snatched a beer from the cooler, opening the metal bottle top with your hands. As Vidia grabbed one too,
“Vidia, it’s already bad enough you stole my slogan, do something original for once damn it.” You snapped, “What I can’t grab a beer?” She scoffed. Taking a swig from it. Only for you to chug down the whole thing in one go as the crowd cheered your name, you smashed the bottle on the ground.
“Beers are for champions little girl, step aside for the big kids.” You snapped, walking past her as she attempted to chug down the drink only for her to choke.
You walked to your car and grabbed your helmet. “Uh, Y/N are you sure you want to drive drunk?” A man from your pit crew asked, “I know my limits. And you should know too you’ve been working with me for years now Adam!” You whined, he laughed as he patted your helmet as you climbed into your car.
Driving up to the starting line as Vidia was right next to you.
“Are you ready? “ The announcer stated, the engines roared as the crowd cheered,
“Let’s get this bitch done!” You cheered as you revved your engine.
“Start!” The light turned green as you went zooming past the others with light speed. Vidia, already getting pissed. Yoongi on the other hand, his leg was tapping in fear as he bit his nails.
“Hyung why are you so worried? This isn’t Y/N’s first race. “ Jimin said as he sat down next to Yoongi.
“I know but... Our fight yesterday was already bad enough... I-I can’t watch this...” He sighed, hiding his face in his hands.
As the laps went by you were still in the fist place, soon Vidia climbing up the chart. You looked in your mirror to see Vidia’s car creeping up behind you,
The last lap soon approaching as Vidia was still on your ass, Getting pissed you played a little trick, you slowed down beside Vidia as she zoomed passed you, only for her to almost crash into a wall. With her slowing down, almost crashing into the other cars you ran back into first place. Laughing at yourself at the trick you played as Yoongi still kept an eye on everything as the other members stuffed their face with food and screamed your name.
“This is the last lap people with Y/N still in first place this is a close neck to neck situation with Vidia slowly climbing the charts, soon reaching Y/N’s place. Look’s like Y/N’s got some competition this year!!” The announcer yelled into the mic.
The finish line soon in sighed at you pounded on the gas pedal. Your grip on the wheel getting tighter as the smile on your face growing bigger as you leaned forward.
“Y/N’s creeping up in first place pretty fast to the final finish line- But Vidia’s on Y/N’s Tail!!-” But before you could look, Vidia’s car crashed into the side of your car, causing you to crash violently into the gate, the car violently spinning out to the side woods of the race track, luckily you were flung out the car and into a river but by the sight of your car going up into flames. You were pissed, swimming out the river with no pain but anger fumed out of your body as you started walking to the front of the stadium. The guards shocked at your appearance.
But by the time you got down to the track, you saw Vidia grasping for the first place trophy, you ripped your gloves off, climbed over the fence and punched her straight in the face. The crowd gasped as she started hitting back, clearly losing as BTS and other people tried to break up the fight.
“Y/N’s alive!? I can’t believe it! She’s okay after that deadly car crash!” The announcer screamed in joy. “Y/N stop! She’s not worth it!” Namjoon said, trying to hold you back. You got out of his grip and started punching her again.
“This bitch tried to kill me!! She tried to kill me!!” You screamed as you started punching her again, knocking her out in an instant as she fell to the dirt road.
“I ought to-” You screamed, “Y/N stop!” Everyone screamed, Yoongi came around and took a hold of you, and started to pull you away.
“Y/N- Y-Y/N Are you okay!? What-Wha- Got I’m gonna be sick-” Yoongi cried as he held onto your body tightly in his arms, you calmed down as you hugged Yoongi back.
“I-I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry...” He cried, you patted his back as he continued to shake violently, but as soon as he pulled away, he hunched over as he started to cough violently.
“Good Lord Yoongi what did you do!?” You yelled as you pounded on his back.
“He drank a lot of beer... “ Jungkook stated as he walked up to the both of you.
“Like a lot of beer. “ Jimin giggled as he took a swig of his beer. But as soon as Yoongi looked back up at you, the next thing you knew he passed out on the ground.
“Yoongi!! “ You cried as you fell with him. “What’s wrong with him now!? He never passes out when he’s drunk!”
“It’s your face!” Hoseok commented, “Haha very funny asshole but why is he like this!?” You yelled, Hoseok walked up to you as he wiped his hand on your forehead, showing his blood covered hand, you touched your hand as it was covered in blood too.
“Oh, “ You uttered, Jin handed you a water bottle as you washed off your bloody face and wounds. Putting your hair up in a pony tail and wrapping a handkerchief around your head.
“You’re weird.” Jin uttered, “Thanks.” You stated as you lifted Yoongi as you both were transported to the hospital.
You sat next to Yoongi in the chair, reading a book with your silver rimmed glasses as Yoongi groaned in agony. You looked over at him as you placed your book down.
He turned his head over to you, his eyes slightly open as the missing color from his face soon starting to appear. You smiled as you placed a hand on his forehead, soon playing with his soft hair.
“Hey babe, how are you feeling?” You asked quietly. He only nodded his head as he leaned his head against your hand.
“Are you okay...?” He said groggily. You nodded, “Babe... I’m sorry for that I said to you two nights ago...” He cracked, tears starting to fall out his eyes.
“Yoongi, It’s fine I know you didn’t mean it. And, I-I should have been more considerate of your feelings. I didn’t know that you would be that worried about me because of that accident.” You sighed, He soon grabbed your hand, causing you to look up at him.
“Then, I’ll forgive you if you forgive me.” He smiled, you laughed as you nodded your head. Placing your head on his chest as his hand played with your ponytail.
“Yoongi-ah.” You said, sitting up.
“Hm?” He hummed in response. You took the chance to kiss his lips lovingly, He groaned as he took your hair out of your ponytail as you tugged on his hair.
“Oh Y/N-” He moaned, you backed away as you started laughing. “What’s so funny?” He whined.
“How did you get horny from that!?” You laughed, he gripped your hand.
“You drive me fucking insane in both good and bad ways you know that?” He laughed back.
“Tell me something I don’t know.” You smiled, you pecked his lips as you continued reading your book In Yoongi’s arms in his hospital bed.
“But why am I in the hospital..?” He asked you.
“You passed out because you saw my bloody head.” You stated.
“WHAT!?” He screamed, “Shhh I’m fine you big baby.” You smiled, he soon relaxed as he kissed your cheek.
“I love you...” He muttered. You smiled turning your head to face him. “I love too.” You smiled.

Music and writing: A harmonious match
Do you listen to music when you write? It’s a pretty common question and most writers feel pretty strongly about it one way or another. I myself can’t listen to music when I’m writing for the blog, but I definitely have playlists for when I’m writing fiction. At the moment, I’m ears deep in turn of the 20th century and Appalachian folk music for a period piece I’m working on. I asked the Bella authors about their writing and music habits, and they filled my inbox with their thoughtful responses. Maybe you’ll even get some inspiration for your own writing.   Genevieve Fortin: When I lived alone I never listened to music when I wrote. I usually had the TV set on the Food Network in the background. Then I bought a house with a lovely woman who is also a talented musician and likes to play the guitar or the piano while I write. I have to admit it sets quite the creative mood. So much so that she recently played a piece that became the main inspiration for a new novel. I’m not telling you what piece, but I’m very excited because it’s the first time music is such a driving force to my writing. Sometimes my musician prefers listening to music while I write and that’s fine too as long as said music is instrumental or, if there are words, they have to be in English. Although our first language is French, I can’t listen to French songs when I write in English. If I try, both languages collide in my brain and I can’t function. Karin Kallmaker: I’m a long-time “slow music for fast times” Hearts of Space kind of listener, and I find ambient music works like nothing else when I’m really on a roll writing fresh text. It makes the room quieter and my mind freer. Vidia Wesenlund, Lisa Gerrard, Michael Stearns – they’re all perfect. A true favorite is Brian Eno’s Bell Studies for the Clock of the Long Now. Artists like David Bowie and Moby have produced ambient works that are on also on the 34-hour+ Writing Music playlist, and there’s a hand played instrument called a hang that produces a bell-like steel drum tone – total ear candy. On the other hand, when I’m self-editing I can go more up-tempo. I totally love ElectroSwing. But still no lyrics – other people’s words make it harder for me to find my own. Riley Scott: When writing more intense scenes, I choose to listen to silence (or at least as silent as it can be with my three dogs snoring nearby). However, during the stages of mapping out what I want to happen during a specific writing session or in the beginning stages of my writing session, music is a must for drawing inspiration and setting the tone. I listen to a variety of music, as I do in my everyday life, and my choice depends on what type of scene I’m writing. My all-time favorites to write to include Stevie Nicks, Melissa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman, Brandi Carlile and Halestorm, although for my latest novel, A Time to Speak, I spent a lot of time listening to country artists, as the story is set in Texas.     Tracey Richardson: Music most definitely can inspire my writing. While I don’t always write to music, I sometimes do for important scenes if I need a little emotional jolt. When I was writing a short story set in the Second World War, I set up a playlist of music from the 1930s and 1940s, which really helped me “feel” like I was back in time. For a romantic scene, I sometimes throw on a playlist that includes such songs as “Ain’t No Sunshine”, “Sara Smile”, “Falling Slowly”, anything by The Carpenters. Music played a huge role in my romance novel The Song in My Heart. My musician friend Elaine Dark wrote a song specifically for the book, and I even learned how to play guitar so I could feel what my characters feel when they play music. I like to think that music and fiction are close cousins (kissing cousins?)! E.J. Cochrane: I find the Thao and the Get Down Stay Down station on Pandora incredibly helpful for writing. I get a nice blend of quirky, indie, mostly female musicians that seem to inspire more quirkiness in the mostly female characters in my mysteries. D Jordan Redhawk: I always listen to music when I write. It’s my version of white noise that keeps the real world at bay while I’m concentrating on my novel. And every book has its own unique soundtrack! Tiopa Ki Lakota’s playlist held both Irish folk music as well as powwow tunes. Darkstone and Pixie (my next book!) used the same list—Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine, Kidney Thieves, Celldweller—to evoke the nu-metal mastery that was the focal point of that world’s magic. While writing Alaska Bride, I listened to Acoustic Labs, Alex Murdoch, KT Tunstall and a creepy disc by Jordan Reyne.     Heather Rose Jones: I used to play music a lot while writing—fiction, non-fiction, day-job stuff, anything. It always had to be something without lyrics (which interferes with the words in my head) so it helps that I have a vast library of classical favorites. I fell away from the habit due to the environments I write in. So if you count the ambient music at Starbucks or Peets’ Coffee, that’s my usual soundtrack! I can’t very well play music while I’m doing dictation, which is my current first-draft method. But when I was polishing up the climactic chapter of Mother of Souls—the one with the magical opera—I sat out in my garden playing Antonin Dvorak’s “Carnival Overture” on a continuous loop, because that piece perfectly encapsulated how the opera was supposed to make the characters feel. Marie Castle: What most people don’t know about me is that I studied piano and trumpet for most of my formidable years. I played with both marching and concert groups until my eyesight decreased to the point that it was difficult to read music. Making music and/or listening to it has been part of my life for so long that it’s hard to be creative without it. I find it helps me set the pace and mood when writing, drowns out random street and house noises, and generally keeps me focused, especially when writing late at night. I have very eclectic tastes, so what I listen to depends on the personality of my characters, the setting, and the purpose of any given scene. If the scene is at a piano bar, I’ll put on piano music. If my main character is a country girl who sings along with Shania and dances in her socks while cooking dinner then upbeat female country is on tap. If it’s a love scene, I pick a romantic, tantalizing playlist. Heavy rock or sharp fast electric for the fight scenes, swinging techno for dance scenes. Acoustic pop when writing humor…cause there’s enough clichés there to keep you laughing for hours. Listening to lyrics is fine when editing. But when writing new scenes, listening to unfamiliar lyrics can be a distraction. I find myself wondering what the singer is saying rather than what my characters need to say. So for new material, I often choose karaoke, instrumental, movie soundtracks, very familiar tunes, or something similar. MB Panichi: For me it depends on my mood, what I’m writing, and what part of the writing process I’m in, and if the words are flowing or not. The harder I need to think, the more the music or background noise needs to be things that I won’t sing along with or get too involved in. And sometimes, I just like it quiet. If I’m listening to music, I have a go-to playlist on my iPhone called  ‘Chick Metal All Heavy’  that has all my favorites.  Lots of guitars and drums, and all female lead singers with female backing bands where possible. I like it loud enough to make my ears bleed. (Okay, not literally. That would ruin my headphones.)  Some example bands in the list: the Agonist, Kittie, Evanescence, Halestorm, Straight Line Stitch, Level C, Epica,  L7, Otep, Mystica Girls.  For when I just need background noise, and I have some nature sounds files I use, with ocean surf, rain and thunderstorms. http://dlvr.it/Ntl7lg

Serious Study Session || Chat Log
Important Plot Stuff Here
The N.E.W.T.s Potion Study Session was schedule for Friday night. A few students actually signed up and even fewer showed. The unused classroom was dusty and lacked light due to the lack of upkeep over the years. The tables were rickety and each of the students were stuck with a stool that had some sort of issue from wobbly legs to loose seats that shifted with the slightest movement.
Vidia: Vidia's foot slid off the top rung of the stool as she flipped through her Advanced Potions textbook. The lighting blew and made her eyes strain just to rest the ingredients of her book. "Fucking stupid N.E.W.T.s" She muttered in Spanish to herself.
Malinda: As Malinda tossed her textbook onto the table, she huffed and pulled her wand out, casting a quick lumos in the hopes that it would make the lighting a little better. "Look, we can go through this book again and again, but we need to actually get our hands dirty if we're going to remember any of it." At least, that was her opinion.
Dory: As usual, Dory found it hard to keep still as she sat looking at the pages in her potions book. She'd been kicking her legs as she tried to put the information on the page into her head. Even with a memory that worked, she was finding that a difficult task. Dory looked up as the book hit the table and one of the other girls spoke up. Her face brightened as she beamed a smile. "That sounds like a great idea!"
Elsa: Elsa was never late and hardly ever 'just on time', so of course she had been the first one to arrive. Not many people had showed, so she was stuck with the three girls sitting around her. She didn't even know any of them outside of what had happened with Vidia. "Which potion do you suggest we do then?" She asked as she flipped through the pages of her textbook.
Vidia: Vidia scowled at Elsa as she flipped through the pages. "It was Mal's beautiful idea. Let the puta pick." She let a smirk tug at the corners of her mouth. As it overstayed its welcome on her face, she let the smirk drop and she slammed her book shut. There was no use for it if Malinda was going to lead the session with making a potion.
Malinda: "I was thinking Polyjuice. It's complicated but something we need to know for our tests...and I've figured out how to make it without needing to wait so long for it to simmer. What do you think?" She looked at everyone around the group expectantly, hoping they'll like the idea as much as her.
Dory: "I think we should do it!" Dory said enthusiastically as she hopped up off her stool and clapped her hands together.
Elsa: Elsa nodded in agreement, but couldn't help but be a little worried about how Malinda had managed to shorten the time by so much. She'd never heard of anyone being able to complete the potion within a single night.
Vidia: Vidia rested her boot against the leg of the table as she stared around the old room. Studying was so tiresome. She could name at least ten different things she'd rather be doing. She only signed up because she needed to pass her exam. With everything she was doing lately she was falling behind.
Malinda: Malinda nodded her head and grinned in excitement as she started gathering the cauldron and main ingredients. "Okay, we still need a few of the ingredients, but they're easy enough to get, so I think we should divide and conquer," she said, splitting up the ingredients left on pieces of paper for each of them. "Yeah? Sound like a plan?"
Dory: Dory took the piece of paper handed to her and looked at the small list, her grin not even fading for a second. She was eager to help. This would be fun. And hopefully, she'd learn a little more. "Okey Dokey Smokey!" Dory said with a salute as she turned to go search for the ingredients on her list.
Elsa: "Alright," Elsa nodded and followed Dory out the door, heading for where she'd last seen the potions closet.
Vidia: "Alright," Vidia slid off the stool as she took the list and went to collect the ingredients she was in charge of.
Malinda: Malinda grinned as everyone headed off to get their parts of the potion, she went off to collect her own and then started working on the spell to make the potion work faster. As the other girls started to come back in, she gave them a grin. "Welcome back! Get everything?"
Dory: Having been the first one out the door, and having practically sprinted in order to go and get the things on her list, Dory was quick in returning to the room. "Yep!" she answered with a bright grin as she set all of the things in her arms onto the table. "Got it all!"
Elsa: Fortunately the potions closet hadn't moved from where she'd last seen it so she was there and back pretty quickly. She placed the collected items on neatly on the table beside Dory's, "Yes."
Vidia: Vidia had to go to the extra storage closet that they used while the dungeons were flooded so she was the last to return. Thankfully, when they do their exam, the ingredients would be present or Vidia would be injuring some Ministry officials who thought that would be a good idea. "Yeah," She put her items down on the table next to the rest the others collected.
Malinda: "Perfect!" she exclaimed when she saw all the ingredients on the table. She opened her potions textbook and set it in front of them. "Alright, let's do this. I'll let you know when we're skipping steps...pretty much any time we're supposed to wait." She paused and twirled her wand a little bit, hesitating a little bit. "Have any of you guys ever successfully made this potion before?" she asked, not wanting to seem rude but being genuinely curious.
Dory: As the book was set in front of the group, Dory leaned down with her elbows on the table to have a really good view of the pages. She was eager to help and eager to learn, so she was determined to follow along as they brewed this potion. Dory thought hard about whether or not she'd ever made this one before. "Mmmm... I don't remember," she said, not able to find a memory of having brewed this potion before. That wasn't necessarily something to worry about. There were still lots of things that Dory couldn't remember.
Elsa: "I have," Elsa replied. It had been a semester-long project in her potions class last year. "May I ask how you've managed to shorten the time so significantly?"
Vidia: "Nope." Vidia couldn't think of a time she had to make a polyjuice potion. There was never a time she had a need or a desire to be anyone else but herself.
Malinda: Malinda was glad that another person in their group had been able to make this potion. The question, however, threw her off a little bit. "Oh, um, it's a fairly simple spell," a lie, "just basically shortens the time for everything else. So instead of weeks, we wait a couple hours." Malinda offered a genuine and confident smile, sure that it would work. "So let's get started," she continued before turning her attention back to the book.
Dory: Dory didn't really like the idea of waiting around for hours, but it was better than weeks. Waiting was the worst part of making potions. It was just so boring.
Elsa: "Uh.... alright then," Elsa didn't know how she felt about Malinda's time shortening spell, it certainly was a bit worrying since she'd never heard of such a thing before, but she supposed she didn't have much of a choice. If they didn't use it there was no point in even making the potion.
Vidia: Vidia was game if they were able to figure out the stupid potion in less time. That meant less time stuck in that dusty room with the perpetual sweet child and Miss Stick-in-the-mud. Although, alcohol would make it tolerable but Elsa was there and Vidia didn't need to land herself in the Headmistress' office.
Malinda: Starting the potion was easy enough, things wouldn't get more complicated until the middle and the end, so as they worked on the polyjuice, Malinda was more than happy to take the lead, so to speak, but gave the other three plenty of chances to jump in and help and continue the arduous process. Soon enough, they were at the waiting part, and Malinda paused, putting a hand up for everyone to pause as well. "Okay, stand back for a minute. This is where I make that spell work and then we only wait for a couple hours." She pulled her wand out again and pointed it to the cauldron, a soft blue light leaving the tip of it and lighting up something that looked like a web around the cauldron.
Dory: As they worked on the potion, Dory was happy to jump in at every opportunity afforded to her. She eagerly took instructions from Malinda and was actually rather proud to be contributing to the potion in a tangible way. When they got the part with the waiting, Dory did as Malinda said and backed up a little bit. She was eager to see the spell that would make things go faster but was cautious because she knew that potions could be very bad news when you got on the wrong side of them. "Wow," she said in a low voice as the cauldron was lit up by a web of magic around it. "That's some spell. It's so pretty!"
Elsa: Elsa looked down at the potion surprised the spell looked to be working. She had no idea what the spell was actually supposed to look like, but Malinda wasn't freaking out so Elsa assumed it was working like it was supposed to. She wouldn't say it out loud, but she did agree with Dory about it being a rather pretty spell. Though that was probably because she'd always been partial to the color blue. Before Malinda had time to even thank Dory for the compliment the spell suddenly went very wrong. There was a loud "BOOM!" and then a cloud of sickly colored smoke exploded from the cauldron. There was a whole lot of coughing as everyone struggled to breath. As Elsa's lungs were filled with the almost toxic air her body began to feel... very odd and even a little painful.
Vidia: Vidia didn't join the group in the general enthusiasm. She sat close enough to see what Malinda was doing and learn the tricks to make the potion brew faster. Her eyes rolled at the spectacle of blue. Whoo hoo. Who cared? Vidia just wanted to see the potion completed so she could say she knew how to do it. Then the boom happened. Vidia's hands waved the smoke from her face as she coughed from inhaling it. "What the fuck, cadela?" She pounded the smoke from her lungs with a fist to her chest. "Fuck," She exhaled and ran her hand through her hair. "What?" Vidia stared at her hand as it held blonde strands of hair. "Malina, what did you do?" Vidia jumped from the stool, sending it across the room as she ran to find a mirror. "AHHHHH!" A shrill scream came from the potions closet. "I'm-I'm-I'm a bubblegum princess!"
Malinda: It was working. It was actually working. And then all of a sudden....it wasn't. The web started to waver, shift like it shouldn't have, and it was almost imperceptible to the naked eye, but she'd been working on this spell for months, she knew it inside and out. The boom reverberated throughout the room and her chest, and she felt pain like she had taken some polyjuice potion and was changing but she didn't feel wrong. Except now that the smoke was clearing, she was looking down rather thank looking up. "Oh no....no no no. No!" Immediately, instead of looking at the other girls, she went straight to the cauldron and saw that what was left was nothing but charred ingredients. "It should have worked! Why didn't it work? Is everyone okay?" she finally asked, looking around at everyone else...and then she spotted her face...but she wasn't looking in the mirror. "Fuck."
Dory: Few things could dampen Dory's enthusiasm, but one surefire way to do it was for something to explode. Even more surefire was if that something was a potion. The memories might be a little fuzzy, but Dory knew enough about her previous encounters with exploding potions to know it was not something she wanted to repeat. As the boom rippled through the room, Dory hit the dirt and crouched beneath the table as the smoke rolled over the group. Dory coughed along with everyone else, feeling the pain of something happening but not knowing what. As she huddled under the table, Dory was scared. Scared that something awful would happen to all four of them. But soon enough, the pain faded and the smoke cleared enough to breath and Dory slowly started out from under the table, only to quicken her pace when she heard the scream. But Dory froze as soon as she looked because... wait... that was her. But she was here. Dory glanced to the other girls and... that wasn't right either. "I'm okay," she said, answering the most pressing question first. "Well... I'm not hurt, anyway. I'm not sure our bodies being all switched around is okay..."
Elsa: The smoke cleared and Elsa's hearing was a little fuzzy, but otherwise she was mostly okay. Her whole body felt sore, but it was nothing life threatening. She heard a scream that sounded like Dory and immediately looked up, only to find herself face to face with... well, herself standing over the cauldron. Elsa gasped and glanced around the room frantically. Dory was panicing beside a mirror and Malinda was rushing over to her. Okay so Dory and Malinda were okay, but there was a duplicate of herself and Vidia was gone- A lock of dark hair fell into her vision and Elsa froze. Everything seemed to click in that one moment. Everyone was freaking out because a POLYJUICE POTION just exploded; a potion that made the drinker look like someone else. Elsa pulled off her glove and was met not by her pale hand, but instead by very tan skin. Malinda - or whoever now looked like Malinda - confirmed Elsa's realization when she said all their bodies were switched around. "Oh no," Elsa pressed a hand to her forehead and closed her eyes. "No, no, no, this cannot be happening."
Vidia: "Fuck, fuck, fuck," Vidia paced around. "Malinda what did you do?" Vidia kicked the stool over as the ringing in her ears faded and she could finally hear herself talk. "Please tell me you can fix this. I can't walk around looking like Dory and I can't have-" Vidia pointed at the person who looked like her but was clearly dressed in Elsa's clothes, "- Princess Prude walking around looking like me."
Malinda: Malinda's mind was going about a mile a minute. She couldn't figure out where she'd gone wrong. Everything had worked perfectly, it all made sense. How had this happened? She was still shaking her head and staring at the cauldron when Vidia, or at least who she assumed was Vidia based on the amount of bitching, started directing her questions at her. "I don't know. I don't know what happened...I don't know how. I'm sorry. I don't...her own pale hands threw her off a little. She was pale but not this pale. "But if you're Dory, and I'm Elsa, which one of you is me? Is it Dory or Elsa? Oh no, I'm so confused." Her head was starting to hurt a little, and she could feel the guilt starting to roll over her. "I am so sorry I didn't mean for this to happen. It was supposed to work! I - I'll make it work, I'll figure something out." She paused in her panicking and looked around at the other girls, her gaze lingering on her own face for a while, finding it very strange to know someone else was wearing it. "What do we do now?"
Dory: The whole scene was very odd. For one thing, it was extremely strange to see herself with such a potty mouth and kicking stuff around. For another, it was hard to tell who was who now. Obviously Dory wasn't the only one with that problem as Not-Elsa was trying to work it out too. Dory made her way over to the cauldron and pat Not-Elsa's arm. "It's okay. It was an accident, of course you didn't mean for it to happen." She smiled encouragingly, a thought in the back of her mind wondering how exactly that looked when she was using Malinda's face instead of her own. Since she didn't see Malinda anywhere else in the room, Dory had to assume that she was the one who looked like Malinda. "And if you got it to happen, then there's gotta be a way to make un-happen. We just have to find it. But it might be a good idea to figure out who is who first. I'll start, I'm Dory."
Elsa: "I'm Elsa and that's obviously Vidia," Elsa gestured over to the girl who looked like Dory but was spewing out all sorts of Spanish and fowl language. That meant Malinda was the one who now looked like her. She crossed her arms across her chest and tried avoiding looking at 'herself'. It was just too weird, like looking in a mirror and having your reflection act of it own accord. She swallowed anxiously, the high levels of stress she was feeling very clearly shown on 'her' face, "We should tell a professor, shouldn't we? If there's anyone who would know how to fix this it's Professor Pace."
Vidia: Vidia scowled as she watched herself talk. "Aren't you a genius?" The sarcasm was heavy as she spoke. "Elsa, why don't you shut the fuck up and sit in a corner. If we tell a professor what do you think will happen? I don't want detention because we let Malinda do some trick that backfired. Or get stuck like this for even longer to learn some bullshit lesson." Vidia turned to Malinda then to the person who was actually Malinda. "How long do you think until you can fix this? I need to be myself before the next quidditch game." She groaned thinking about being stuck as Dory and having Elsa looking like herself. "Esto es una mierda. Me quedé así porque hice lo correcto y llegué a la sesión de estudio. Mierda. ¡Mierda absoluta!"
Malinda: "No!" Malinda immediately said, panic clear on her--Elsa's--face. "We can't go to the professors. We can't. We need to figure this out on our own. Think of it as a good way to study for exams. Please, just leave the professors out of it." She nodded her head. "Yeah, we'll figure it out," she repeated, thankful that Vidia was on her side in this. Malinda turned her attention back to Dory. "Take care of my body please. Don't like...get blown up or something. I'm going to go fix this. I promise!" As she spoke, she gathered up her things and picked up the cauldron while she was at it. Maybe something in there would give her information on how to turn this around. "This can be fun! I'll fix it. Just give me a little time! DON'T TELL A PROFESSOR!!" Malinda called over her shoulder as she hurried out of the room.
Dory: As the other three erupted into an angry/panicked argument, Dory mostly just stood there. Between the angry Spanish exit of Vidia and the panicked rush of Malinda following soon after, Dory was left more than a little confused about what happened now. And she was fairly certain that polyjuice potion just made you look like someone else, not actually switch bodies with them, so was it actually possible to take care of Malinda's body? That question would probably remain a mystery. Dory watched Malinda hurry away and then turned to Elsa, nervously tugging at a strand of the dark hair she now sported. "So... I know she said not to but... I kind of think we should tell a professor..."
Elsa: As Malinda began gathering up her things Elsa started pacing. It was something she always did whenever she was stressed. "This is a complete disaster and you two want me to keep quiet about it because you don't want to get in trouble?!" She groaned and tried to think of how she was supposed to go back to her dorm like this. She was brought back to the present reality when Malinda started talking again and then sprinted out of the room, Vidia hot on her heels. "Fun?" Elsa murmured in disbelief. Her face quickly turned from one of mass confusion and anxiety to pure frustration, "This will most certainly NOT be fun! It's a complete and utter mess!" She clenched her jaw and ran over to the door, calling after them as they hurried down the hall, "You better figure out how to fix this soon or so help me I will go straight to the head mistress!" She let out an annoyed huff and walked back into the classroom. Oh God, how were they supposed to fix this? Malinda promised she'd figure something out, but after what had just happened Elsa didn't trust a word she said. The Head Girl was so caught up in her thoughts she complete forgot Malinda - whoops, Dory - was still there. The sound of the girl's voice altered Elsa of her presence and calmed her down a bit. "I doubt Professor Pace is even awake right now," Elsa sighed. "Let's just wait until morning and then try to figure something out then. Maybe Malinda will have actually figured something out by then, or maybe the effects of her disastrous mistake will have worn off by morning, I don't know."

Breaking Point
When Elsa gets hurt she doesn't ask for help. She doesn't burden people with her pain, not even the nurses at the infirmary whose sole purpose at the school was to take care of students. No, Elsa took care of things herself. Her parents were the only people who Elsa had ever let help her. When she was occasionally sick her mother would get her medication and make soup. When her magic got out of control her father was right there beside her, telling her to calm down and repeating the mantra they'd come up with. Of course as she'd gotten older she’d become more and more independent, trying to do everything by herself and, in her mind, giving her parents less to worry about. They'd been her entire support system, so when they died Elsa fell apart. The one stable part of her life was gone forever, and without it she completely, utterly broken - lost and unable to control her emotions, and thus her magic.
If she hadn't been completely against all forms of help before, she certainly was now. When Vidia had taken aim and hit her head with the swift kick of a football, Elsa should have gone to the infirmary. She hadn't thought it was anything serious, it was just a headache after all, and decided to go back to her dorm to rest it off. Unfortunately the pain only got worse as she ascended the staircases. So, she ditched the idea of going all the way up to Ravenclaw Tower and instead ventured into the closest bathroom she could find.
Thankfully, it seemed everyone was at lunch, so she was alone in the restroom. Standing before the sink, Elsa turned and inspected the area of her face that had gotten hit. She sighed as she noticed the new coloring on her temple. Elsa had the unfortunate tendency to bruise easily. Fortunately since it was the area between her left eye and ear she could cover it somewhat easily. She undid her bun and let her hair fall out of the up-do. It also felt odd wearing it down since she so seldom ever did it. The last time had been at the Yule Ball, but that was because she hadn't been comfortable leaving the area above her collarbone so exposed.
Cautiously pulling off her glove, Elsa pressed her fingers to the inflicted area and light out a light sigh. Her cool skin, and a bit of wandless magic she wasn't even aware she was doing, helped ease the pain. She quickly slipped it back on and headed out of the bathroom. She received a few confused glances as she walked through the halls, but she tried not to pay them much attention. Her eyes felt weak and she just wanted to lay down, but she was determined to get to Hogsmeade and find something to fix the headache.
Walking to the school-side village was difficult, she'd lost her almost footing on more than one occasion and the jostling of the carriage certainly hadn't helped worth the pain, but she did eventually make it; the cool air helping comfort her pain a little. Upon arriving she headed straight for the only medicinal shop there. Elsa hadn't ever truly trusted magic, so she bought of the few muggle-made pain relievers the store surprisingly had. She'd run into Denahi there and they'd talked for a little bit before Elsa made her way back to the castle. Her head had still been throbbing, but it wasn't so excruciating that she couldn't move. So, despite the pain, she climbed up every flight of stairs until she reached her dorm… To which she promptly fell onto her bed and passed out.
The next few days were bad. If it hadn't been for one of her roommates waking her up she would have slept through all her morning classes. She found it difficult to concentrate in class (thankfully she didn’t have any tests) and complete her homework, felt worn out almost all the time, her vision would randomly start getting blurry, and while the pain in her head had subsided from what it had originally been, it was still there. Despite this though, Elsa refused to go to the infirmary. She kept taking the medication she bought in Hogsmeade, she’d went out and gotten more, and tried her best to act like nothing was wrong. Obviously her classmates saw that something was going on - she was wearing her hair down, it seemed like she was struggling to pay attention in class, and while walking in the halls she looked a little unsteady - but no one asked how she was doing. Whether it was because they were too nervous to approach her or for some other reason, Elsa didn’t know and quite honestly she didn’t really care. She didn’t need anyone taking care of her, she could do that on her own.
It’d been a week since the incident and Elsa hadn’t gotten any better like she’d hoped. She felt achy and completely out of it. The headaches kept her from sleeping a lot, so she was more tired than she’d ever been before. There were new, small bruises along her body from accidentally running into tables that didn’t quite catch her eye, columns she hadn’t noticed she was approaching, and one night even her bedpost. Needless to say, she looked like a complete wreck. Fortunately she’d managed to avoid Anna the whole week, not wanting her sister to see her like this. She was supposed to be perfect, but instead here she was, dreading the stairs every time she had to walk up them. The thought of getting legitimate medical help had crossed her mind, but the idea was quickly shot down every time it arose. She didn’t want anyone touching her - not now, not ever.
Elsa hadn’t gone to dinner Saturday night, she typically avoided the Great Hall during that time of day, instead venturing into the kitchen and getting something to eat there. The house elves were very kind, they always were, and had prepared her a bowl of soup and two rolls. The warm food seemed to ease the pain in her head a bit, probably because it finally let her relax a bit and take her mind off the headache, and once she was full she thanked the wonderful creatures and was on her way. Dinner in the Great Hall was beginning to wind down and students were making their way back to their dorms just like her.
About halfway to Ravenclaw Tower Elsa passed by a couple sixth years joking around with each other. She didn’t pay them much attention, looking down and walking near the wall rather than down the middle of the hall, and evidently they didn’t notice her much either. Right as she was walking by one of the boys got pushed by his friend and he tripped, falling backwards onto the Head Girl. Had she not been so unsteady and her reaction speed so slow, Elsa probably could have stayed standing when he felt back into her or at least could have sidestepped the fall. Unfortunately that was not the case and she fell back with him, stumbling to the side and hitting her head hard against the wall she’d been sticking so close to.
A jolt of pain coursed through her skull as soon as her head made contact with the wall and she let out a pained gasp. The weight of the younger, though clearly larger, boy pulled her down and she fell to the ground, hitting her head a just as hard a second time on the stone floor - blacking out before she could register the pain.
When the Head Girl didn’t get up the boys started freaking out. She was breathing, they could see that, but her eyes were closed and she wasn’t moving. Two of them sprinted off to the infirmary to get help and quickly came back with a few nurses. Thankfully rather than touch her, Elsa was lifted from the ground using the levitation charm and rushed to the infirmary; the place she’d been avoiding all week. As they fussed over her, doing everything they could to help, Elsa faded in and out of conscious. She never had the strength to open her eyes, or move at all really, but she could hear people talking, their voices fuzzy and only half there most of the time.
“I can’t say anything for certain, but it seems like she already had a minor concussion before tonight.”
“...Did she really? Well in that case it’s a wonder she didn’t pass out before now. I mean, just look at her...”
“Someone should find her sister and tell her what’s happened. If she’s already asleep leave her be, it can wait till morning.”
Despite the matrons’ efforts, eventually the Ravenclaw fell asleep. They’d tried their hardest to get her to stay awake, but it was clear she was exhausted and no amount of magic could keep her from passing out. She slept peacefully through the whole night and late into the next morning.

Luna drops her new skates onto the floor surprising Simón and Ámbar. They were worried something happened to Luna. They dashed to the lockers and see Luna concerned staring at Nina. Luna turns her head to face Simón. “Is it true? Is the Jam and Roller up for sale and may get shut down?” Luna questioned Simón. Simón takes a big gulp of air while anxiously thinking of an excuse. “No of course not Luna. Why would you think of such a thing” Ámbar says immediately, saving Simón. “I heard exactly what you guys said when I entered. I know it’s true,” Nina stated. “Yes Nina. You’re right, the Jam and Roller was for sale back when Vidia owned it but now it’s owned by some other worker of Vidia and it’s this whole complicated process of company shares and such. You guys wouldn’t understand. Nothing to worry about. You both know we wouldn’t ever lie to you guys,” Ámbar replied.
Luna and Nina both glared at each other. Nina was still in disbelief while Luna, believing her friends, said, “sorry for the misunderstanding. It’s just lately it seems like you both have been hiding something, so we were worried.” Hearing those words come out of Luna’s mouth made Simón very depressed knowing he was lying to Luna. He hates lying to her which is why he’s never done it, but he doesn’t want to break her heart especially after how lonely she had been feeling with Matteo gone and the whole situation that came about from it. Luna grabbed her skates, placed them in her locker, said goodbye to Simón and Ámbar and headed out the door with Nina.
Ámbar let out a sigh of relief than saw Simón’s frown while he stared at the ground. “Look I know it’s hard lying to Luna, but this is very serious. Who knows what will happen? The only thing we can do is hope for the best. Telling the others will only stress them out even more.” Simón knew Ámbar was right but hated the thought of lying. “You’re right… but they deserve to know. Before I thought this was the best decision for the rest but now, I don’t think so. I regret lying and making you lie with me. It was my idea, and it was a stupid one. We should’ve told them.” Ámbar felt bad for Simón. She didn’t like seeing him upset and always tried to comfort him or cheer him up when it happened. “No mi amor. It’s not your fault. We were just trying to help, that’s all. Yeah, it may be a good idea to tell them, but we’ve kept this lie for far too long that I feel like it’s too late now. Plus, we don’t know what’s going to happen so who knows maybe someone will buy this place and keep it the way it is.” Ámbar hugs Simón afterward, which puts a slight smile on his face. He loves her hugs and knowing how much of an incredible person she is. Seeing her the way she is every day and how she has truly changed to become a better person, has always made Simon so proud and he feels like he’s falling in love with her every time.
The Next Day
Gastón frantically paces back and forth in his kitchen knowing Nina had left about a minute ago to meet up with Eric. He hesitantly calls his friend Matteo for help. “Good morning hermano, how’s your morning been?” Matteo asks. “Bad. Very bad. Nina just left to meet with Eric. I still can’t believe I said yes to this. Plus, how can that guy still keep in contact with her AND want to meet up with her. It’s obvious he still likes her. I don’t know what to do but I feel like I should do something,” Gastón exclaims. “Wow slow down there. You’re talking very fast. Look I know you’re stressed but Nina would never go back together with that guy even if he still has a crush on her. Remember, she only dated him to forget her feelings about you, he was her rebound. She’s always loved you and only you,” Matteo reminded him. “I get that, but like I said, I don’t trust that guy. He shouldn’t be talking to my girlfriend, his ex. I just want to be there to protect her, and at least know what’s going on,” Gastón explained. “Well than your only choice is to follow them. Spy on them and see what they’re up to. If you hide in an area where no one notices you, you will be fine, trust me I know from experience.” Gastón stayed quiet thinking about Matteo’s idea. He didn’t want to seem super jealous and make Nina feel like he doesn’t trust her, but he also feels like it’s his job to protect her. She is the love of his life after all and doesn’t want to lose her again.
“Alright fine. I’ll do it. I’ve never done this before but for Nina I will do anything,” Gastón admitted. “I knew you were going to take my advice. Also don’t worry I can help you. I’m available this whole hour since Viviana isn’t planning to come to the studio yet,” Matteo replied. “You’re hanging out with that girl again? You guys seem to hang out a lot,” Gastón remarked. “You know this is only business related. We’re making a collaboration and my manager wants the song out asap. We finished it yesterday and are planning to make the music video today,” Matteo answered. “Sounds interesting. Just wanted to let you know since that girl seems like bad news.”
The Park
Nina sits at a bench waiting for Eric to arrive. After waiting ten minutes a hand slightly pats her shoulder. She turns around and to her surprise it’s Eric but not the same guy she knew since the last time they broke up. He’s completely changed. Who knew stardom can truly transform a person’s looks? He had long, soft, dark brown hair that resembled Nico’s old hairstyle while wearing black skinny jeans, a long grey shirt and a long black coat styled jacket with sleek, shiny black boots. His outfit looked a lot more put together and even expensive. “Eric is that you?” Nina questioned. “Yep, it’s me. Long time no see Nina. I’ve really missed you. It feels like it’s been forever,” Eric beamed with excitement. “Yeah, it has. You’ve seemed to change a lot. You look nothing like how you looked before.” Eric chuckled at Nina’s response. “Why thank you, I guess. Well, the thing is I changed up my whole aesthetic. When I flew to Brazil for that record deal, I decided to change. Not change who I am, my personality that is. It was just that I had felt more comfortable in my own skin. I truly felt like the real me. I was very excited with my record deal and the whole process; I even came up with a new artist name, Jandino. That’s what everyone knows me by. I just flew back to work with the Fundom and its Be U campaign. I used to work with LAIX but that is a long story.”
“Wow you seemed to have had quite the adventure there ‘Jandino,’” Nina jokingly said. “Would you like to take a walk and look around,” Jandino asked. “Sure, I guess.” Nina and Eric both stood up from the bench and walked around the park. Gastón finally had arrived and saw at the corner of his eye Nina and Eric strolling along a red-bricked path. He slowly walked closer to them and hid beneath a bush covered in yellow daisies. “Alright Matteo I’m here. They have yet to see me. I’m a little far away but close enough to hear the conversation,” Gastón says on the phone to Matteo.
“Nina, I wanted to tell you that I have my record deal, my fame and music all thanks to you. Without you I wouldn’t have been able to discover my passion and have the confidence in myself that I do now. You truly helped me, and I don’t know how to thank you,” Eric proclaimed. “This man disgusts me!” Gastón criticized on the phone. “Eric, you always had it in you. All you needed was a little push to help you realize how capable you were of achieving your dreams and turning them to reality,” Nina being modest. “I’ve always loved your words and how beautifully you speak. I hope you know how amazing you are as well and any man to have you is lucky to have such an amazing woman.” Eric than grabs her hand and kisses Nina on the cheek.
Gastón rebuked, “He did not just flirt with my girlfriend and future wife! Matteo I’m going to have to call you back,” Gastón fumed to the phone. “Wait Gastón what happened, que paso?” Gastón hangs up on Matteo and darts to Eric. “Who do you think you are to kiss and flirt with my girlfriend. I don’t care how much of a musician you are cause trust me I sing too and much better than you. Plus, I’ve graduated the top in my class in Oxford. Bet you haven’t done that, and may I remind you she broke up with you so get over it, she’ll never get back together with you.” Gastón smirks till he notices the irritated look on Nina’s face. He slowly regrets what he said. “I’m sorry but have you been stalking us?” Eric points out which makes Gastón really nervous. “No…. I just so happened to be taking a walk around the park and noticed you two. That’s all,” Gaston lied. “Look I don’t know what’s happening with you Gastón, but this is so unlike you. Why would you spy on me like that? I thought you could trust me. Plus, he wasn’t even flirting. He was thanking me,” Nina affirmed. “Really? Then why did he held your hand and kissed you on the cheek? Explain that Eric,” Gastón questioned. “The kiss on the cheek was a kiss goodbye. I have a meeting in about ten minutes and needed to go now,” Eric answered. “See Gastón. There was absolutely nothing to worry about. I can’t believe you did this.” Nina dashed out of the park. “Nina no wait!” Gastón yelled. “Look if I were you, I would run after her. Nina is like no other girl and you wouldn’t want to lose someone as special as her,” Eric advised. “You may be right about that, but I still don’t trust you,” Gastón furiously said.
Jim and Yam’s Apartment
Jim takes the last piece of clothing out of her bag and places it on a shelf in her closet. “Finally, I’m done. It felt like this unpacking would never end,” Jim joked. Yam giggled a little than grabbed her journal off her nightstand. “What you got there?” Jim asked. “Lately I’ve been going back to writing songs. I finished writing this one titled ‘Cuando’ last night,” Yam confided. “Ooooh can you sing it now? I would love to hear it!” Right when Jim bursted with excitement someone knocked on the door. “Here, I’ll get it,” Jim walks to the door and opens it to Delfi and Jazmín. “Hey chicas! We’re so excited! Summer has finally started! We can go shopping and eat at cafés,” Delfi stated. “And I can film more videos and post more for my Ja-Jazmín fans.” Jazmín proclaimed.
“Yeah, I saw you both were on the Be U campaign for the Fundom. You guys seemed to have done a lot of interesting stuff. Lately Jim and I, all we have been doing is either studying or practicing our singing routines and choreography. School has really kept us on our toes,” Yam exclaimed. “Very true, but you seemed to have forgotten you also have been doing interesting things as well. Like that new song you just mentioned about,” Jim squealed. “What song? Yam never said anything about a song,” Jazmín questioned. “No Jazmín. Before you guys arrived, Yam said she wrote a song called Cuando. I asked her if she can sing it,” Jim explained. “Oh, please, por favor can you sing it for us. We would love to hear it!” Delfi and Jazmín begged. “Alright, alright I’ll sing it.”
Yam picked up her shiny black guitar off the wall and placed it on her lap as she sat down on a chair beside her desk. As she began strumming the song, Jazmin picked up her tablet from her purse and started filming Yam sing. You can tell the song Yam sang was meant for a lover. “Cuando te vas a dar cuenta que te quiero tanto. Cuando te vas a inviter me para salir. Cuando te vas a dar cuenta que pienso en ti cuando estoy cantando. Todas mis canciones están escritas para tí. (When are you going to realize that I love you so much. When are going to invite me to go out with you? When are you going to realize that I think about you when I sing? I write all of my songs for you).” Jim, Delfi, and Jazmin glared at each other with giggles and smirks when they would hear that chorus of Yam’s song.
After Yam was done singing, the girls wouldn’t stop clapping. “Oh, c’mon girls it wasn’t that good,” Yam sincerely stated. “Yam don’t say that. That song you wrote was incredible!” Jim proclaimed. “Yes, it truly was. Now I really want to know who it was for. I do have my suspicions,” Jazmin chuckled and winked at Yam. “It was for no one. Why do you guys always think my songs are about somebody else,” Yam laughed while blushing. “Oh, please you literally said it in those lyrics. Plus, don’t think I don’t notice those looks you and Ramiro give to each other,” Jim stated. “Everyone can tell you two are in love with each other. I’m shocked you guys haven’t gone on a date yet,” Delfi confessed. “Honestly girls I don’t know why either,” Yam admitted.
Luna’s House
Nina barges into Luna’s room with a frown on her face. “Que pasa amiga. What’s the matter?” Luna asked. “No nothing,” Nina murmured. “Nina I’m your best friend in the whole wide world. I’ve known you for years. You really think I’m going to believe nothing has happened. C’mon Nina, speak to me,” Luna persisted. “It’s Gastón. Today I was going to see Eric since he wanted to meet up with me. It had been a while since we’ve seen each other so it was nice catching up and seeing what each other are doing. Well, we met up at the park but then, all of a sudden Gaston came out of a bush and started yelling at Eric out of jealousy. I couldn’t believe he would do such a thing. What shocked me the most was how jealous Gastón was, and how he didn’t trust me. I told him we were just meeting up as friends since we hadn’t seen each other in a long time,” Nina sniffled. “Nina, you know Gastón trusts you. Whenever I look at you two, it’s obvious what you guys have is true love. I think that Gastón was just worried that Eric was going to flirt with you, and you would get back together with him. Also, you can’t really blame him. Anybody would get upset knowing their partner is meeting up with their ex even though you two are just friends. It was a normal reaction. Well, maybe not the ‘stalking’ part but his reaction makes sense.”
Nina wiped off the tear on her face and realized what Luna said was right. “I guess you’re right. Any person would get jealous even I got jealous before when we first started dating, when I would see him with Flor or Delfi. The only thing I didn’t like was his act of rage and how he didn’t trust me,” Nina confessed. “True but I’m sure you guys will figure it all out.” Luna grabbed two outfits from her wardrobe and displayed them to Nina. “Alright so which one should I wear for my date with Matteo tonight. The long sparkly pink dress or the white romper with yellow flowers all over?” Luna asked. “Luna, it still bewilders me how you ask me always on what to wear. You know fashion is not my thing and I never know what to wear or put on,” Nina stated. “Oh, please Nina. You know I love having your input and you do dress very nicely I will say. I want to pick the perfect outfit for my date with Matteo today. I’m really nervous since it’s been about almost a year since we’ve went on an actual date. It feels like forever. We have a lot to catch up on,” Luna said. “I’m sure it will go great. Plus, lately Matteo has been quite the romantic. Getting you those sparkly, light up skates and all.”
Nina’s phone begins to ring. “Hello…. Yeah, I’m at Luna’s house…. You need my help… alright I’m on my way.” Nina ended the call with a surprised expression. “Who was that, Nina?” Luna asked. “Delfi asked me for help on her new video. She’s been writing the script and wants me to help out. She said she’ll meet me at my house. A little odd that she doesn’t want to meet at the Jam and Roller, but I guess she’s closer there so that’s why?” Nina questioned. Luna and Nina shrugged at each other. “Well, I guess that’s my cue to go. It was nice talking to you Luna. Te quiero amiga.” Nina got up from the chair and hugged Luna. “Te quiero tambien amiga.” Nina headed out the door and then stopped for a second. “Oh, before I leave, I recommend the sparkly one since you’re favorite thing to wear is sparkles, sequins, and glitter,” Nina giggled. “You know me too well Nina,” Luna laughed.
Once Nina left, Luna grabbed her sparkly dress, silver heels, butterfly bracelet, and her blue glowing ring Matteo gave to her. She’s always kept it and always puts it on since it reminds her of him. It hasn’t ever stopped glowing, and she doesn’t help but smile at the sight of seeing it beam since he told her that when it glows it means that he’s thinking of her. Luna’s phone begins to ring. “Hola chico fresa. Don’t think I haven’t forgotten about our date tonight,” Luna beamed. “Yes, chica delivery. I’ve been excited all day for it. I’m almost done shooting. I’ll be there in no time. If you’d like we can meet up at the restaurant?” Matteo asked. “Sounds like plan,” Luna replied. “Well, I have to go now. Bye mi amor.” Matteo hanged up and Luna gripped onto her phone seeing the time. She grabs her purse and heads out the door. “Ay mi medallita!” Luna exclaimed. She runs back to her room and grabs her luna (moon) and fresa (strawberry) necklace. She loves it so much and it always reminds her of the beautiful memory she shared with Matteo and their friends at her eighteenth birthday party.
Jam and Roller
Simon enters Ambar’s office. “Hola mi amor. Como estas. Hi my love. How are you?” Ambar lifts her head up. “I’m just filing. Everything seems to be going good here,” Ambar replied. “Sounds great. Have you heard any news on any offers or pitches?” Simón asked. “None yet. It’s ok though cause I have hope about the future.” Ambar’s response made Simon widely smile. “That’s the spirit my love,” Simon stated right before giving a kiss to Ambar.
Delfi walks towards Pedro with her tablet. “Now that summer has started I have so many plans on making new videos since now I’ve got time. The only issue is I have no idea which topics to talk about,” Delfi sighed. “I’m sure whatever you make will become a hit just like all of your other videos,” Pedro comforted Delfi. “Awww thanks my love. I hope something cool and exciting happens soon so I can have something to post about.” Pedro grabbed the blender and started pouring in the raspberry smoothie on to the glass. When Pedro looked up, he couldn’t believe what he saw.
“Nico?” Pedro shockingly said. Nico with two rolling luggage entered the front door of the Jam and Roller. Delfi and Pedro stared in astonishment at Nico standing at the front door as Pedro was overspilling the drink in his hands.
