First year of college recap:
Okay, this is SUPER late because I finished my first year in July and I'm already in the middle of my second year lmao. I had thought about doing this shortly after finishing first year but my sem holiday was one (1) day and second year has just NOT been kind to me 🥲
First year had many ups and downs, LOTS of downs; academically it was okay but mentally it was terrible lol. How do you make friends in college 🤣
During first sem my mental state was SHITE, second sem was okay but I'd gained a stalker the minute I'd started it + I got covid towards the end ✌🏼
3rd sem has turned out to be a bit better. I'm participating in a bunch of conferences and club activities that we couldn't participate in while we were in our first year. People keep saying that I need to enjoy my college years because they don't come back, well guess what!! Thank god they don't because I have nothing to look back on! So far at least, but I don't see this changing in the future either.
I could go on and on about how the college experience has been nothing but a scam, but I'll spare you all from my negativity and self-pity.

i’m 18 years old & my birthday is july 17th.
i’m from the uk but i was born in the netherlands; i moved to the uk as a child ( ̳• · • ̳)
i would say i’m an extrovert but, i get overwhelmed easily so maybe i’m an ambivert? i’m unsure…

i did biology, chemistry & psychology at a level.
now i’m on my gap year because i deferred so, i’ll start university in 2022 !! yes, i am very excited
i will be studying arabic & english literature ba in london !
i’m multilingual as i do speak a little bit of everything.
arabic is one of my native languages which i hope to develop in university!!
after university, i hope to go into a teaching profession.

Written by lattebooks. While I’ve never been drunk (in spite of my name), it’s always a fun story starter for some reason. In here, Lance gets drunk, and has a conversation he doesn’t recall via text with a person he doesn’t even know. It’s a great fic with superb writing, and it’s looking to set up a particularly interesting Klance fic. It’s easy to read and kinda just draws you in to keep going. First chapter ends in a rough cliffhanger, though, so try not to salivate too hard while you wait for the next chapter!

GOOD MORNING
I am back???
It was a spur-of-the-moment decision I made just this morning, also given that my final board exams got postponed 💔 so I was royally pissed and somehow ended up wasting my time scrolling through Tumblr (especially the studyblr side).
But it wasn't ENTIRELY wasted bc I found some people who are in the same boat as me! ( @sahersstudyblr @desi-student hi!!! *waves* )
So after a week of moping around after the news, I finally gathered my sanity and got down to studying my worst enemy—chemistry.
Now, whether I stay true to my word (hm this sounds familiar) and be responsible w my studies or if I chicken out of staying regular, you guys and even myself will know either in the next few business days or next month 😃
