Downton Abbey fans thrilled as filming for much-anticipated sequel kicks off We can't wait to catch up with the Crawleys!

Good news, Downton Abbey fans! Filming for the period drama's much-anticipated second film is officially underway.

The official Downton Abbey Instagram account confirmed the news with a photo taken from behind the scenes of the sequel simply captioned: "It's so good to be back. #DowntonAbbey2"

Fans quickly flocked to the post to express their excitement. "I'm rewatching the series to prepare for the movie! Can't wait!!!" one said, while another added: "Can it just be Christmas already!?" Other fans simply flooded the comments section with heart and clapping hand emojis.

Although the clapperboard in the photo obscured the faces of those in front of the camera, one eagle-eyed fan was able to work out who was in the scene just based on their outfits alone. "Molesley, Anna, Mrs. Hughes, and Thomas!" they wrote in the comments.

The movie is set to be released on 22 December this year and audiences can expect to see a few new faces among the cast. Joining the likes of original stars Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Joanna Froggatt and Maggie Smith are Dominic West, Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock and Nathalie Baye.

Hugh Dancy is perhaps best known for his role as Will Graham in the hit series Hannibal and was last seen in the legal drama The Good Fight. Meanwhile, French actress Nathalie has appeared in Catch Me If You Can and Call My Agent!, while Laura Haddock is known for her roles in White Lines and Guardians of the Galaxy.

While details about their respective roles remain under wraps, we know that The Affair and Pursuit of Love star Dominic West is set to play a wealthy aristocrat who is invited to stay at the eponymous stately home by Lord Grantham.

It says “Roll 11″ Does it mean the photo was taken earlier, because there was another group bts posted overnight on IG and here (source unknown, deleted apparently per Hugh Bonneville’s request), which shows “Roll 47′. I assume the deleted one is the most recent. Does it mean they’re about to wrap soon?

It was such a bizarre day yesterday. First the media reported Allen Leech is at the head of the table (Collider, CinemaBlend), but it should be Rob James-Collier. The error was tweeted unchecked. At least the Hello Magazine article above took fan reaction into account. That’s why I post this link.

Secondly, the group photo with Michelle Dockery (wavy new hairdo), Hugh Bonneville, an unknown tall young man holding a clapboard, Elizabeth McGovern, Laura Carmichael, Harry Hadden-Paton, Samantha Bond and Rob James-Collier, appeared from nowhere and then deleted. Will we ever see it again?

Thirdly, there’s a small online news talking about Downton alum Lily James and Matthew Goode working on a new ‘Pride and Prejudice’ project for Netflix, with Douglas Booth, Emma Thompson, Elizabeth Debickic, Helena Bonham Carter, and Caitríona Balfe. I don’t think it’s true because it says filming started in May. Matthew Goode was filming ‘The Colour Room’ and ‘Downton Abbey 2′ back to back. MG is also committed to film the 10-part TV series ‘The Offer’ for Paramount Plus. Also for the cast this BIG, other media outlets would have reported it. The writer probably threw the cast of ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ (a 2016 movie with Lily and Douglas in it) and a whole bunch of big names together. The only Netflix P&P project announced is ‘The Netherfield Girls’. Read Variety June 2, 2021 ‘Never Have I Ever’ Actor Maitreyi Ramakrishnan to Star in Netflix Rom-Com ‘The Netherfield Girls’ (EXCLUSIVE). Despite the lack of source and corroboration, the Lily James P&P news went viral again!

Hopefully we’ll see a proper official teaser of DA 2 soon! Haha this I can trust.

Fruits Basket 2019 Thoughts

I recently felt like rewatching and finish the 2001 anime then move onto the 2019 anime and let me tell you it was a good idea cause I’m loving the similarities and the differences. Also, I’ve only read a handful of the manga cause my friend had them and lent them to me as kids.

In no particular order or importance, but how they come to my mind and with vagueness when necessary to avoid spoiling for others. I currently finished watching S1 E17 “This is for Uo-chan” at the time of writing.

I am SOOOOOOOO glad we got a full two episodes dedicated to Uo’s backstory. I have loved her since the first few episodes of the first anime

Having checked her wiki I know something of the future, but WHY THE HECK IS UO NOT QUEER??? Her voice, her outfits, her dialogue!!!! It’s sooooooo queer! Sidenote: why isn’t at least Hana queer if Uo can’t be???

Once again am LOVING Uo and Kyo’s friendship. It’s so fun watching them argue and tease each other (or well Uo teasing him), and I’m loving the more varied redhead nicknames from Uo. I DO miss hearing Uo be called Yankee though...

It was a little weird reconciling Tohru’s change in voice (I mean it’s been 18 years) but I do prefer Laura Bailey’s new voice for Tohru as the 2001 would start to grate on my nerves during my marathoning.

I’m glad Yuki’s hair is ACTUALLY odd-colored now and not purple-black as in the 2001 anime. he actually looks related to white haired Ayame now

I know as a Westerner it’s not my place but regarding pronunciation

Aya-may makes sense but I’m used to Aye-ahmay

GLAD Kagura is the same as Inuyasha’s Kagura finally.

Hone-da is weird... xD

I preferred A-KEY-to not AH-ki-toe (make sense?)

I’m used to Shi-GUR-ay Shig-ure (maybe need to listen)

I DO love that they’ve included some of the classic and proper Japanese honorifics. Sensei/Sempai, Uo-chan, Sohma (Tohru speaking of Yuki), etc etc. I LOVE that!

LOVE Momiji and Momiji’s mom having German accents

But I do have to mention that it instantly makes him sound more mature and male so how does anyone mistake him for a girl? XD

Also, EXCELLENT voice actors to manage as great a German accent as they did!

Took me a while to get used to Hanajima Saki’s new voice actor but it’s grown on me and I like it now

The instant I heard I HATED it in comparison to the 2001 anime

Loving the little moments that are the same between anime series. I find myself saying the line before the character does or at the same time.

LOVING THAT COLLEEN CLINKENBEARD IS PART OF THIS SERIES NOW AND DAAAAAAMN DO I LOVE HER ROYAL VOICE AS AKITO. It’s so perfect!

I need her to play a badass lesbian in an anime though.. (also if it exists and I simply haven’t come across it, TELL ME PLEASE!)

Also, as always, Funimation is the BEST dub studio ever! And I say this confidently having watched the Netflix Bleach movie in comparison to the Fullmetal Alchemist AND the Ninja Scrolls (aka: Basalisk) live action movies and how well Funimation matched lip flaps in their translation/script. They’re also amazing cause they choose the best actors for the characters!

Edit: Apparently the FMA movie only had 3 Funimation voice actors from the OG anime series dubs and was done by a different company, but they DID match the lip flaps better. And now that I think of it, I have a feeling I watched more of the sub than the dub cause I was probably pissed Riza, Hughes and Roy were different voices...

Song Rewind - December

the last month of 2018. well, in this year a lot of things changed. some for the better, some not. but well, in the end i learned a lot. and i hope 2019 will be great. ‘s wird scho. but now: the last list for this year. or more like for 2018. i’ll probably won’t stop making those lists in 2019. and neither will the aphabetical order change

· Ashes by Céline Dion this song is simply so good... it’s one of those songs where you just have to turn the volume up.

· badbye by RM does a goodbye always have to be good? or do ‘badbyes’ exist?

· Check It Out by Oh the Larceny i found this song because of my youtube recommendations. can’t say that i regret clicking on the video.

· Devotion by Tristam yep. winter is definitely the perfect time for tristam.

· Dies Irae by Apashe the requiem ep was one of the best eps in 2018. i’m still in love with it. and it’s really good music when you’re driving through the night and need something a bit livelier.

· Getting Closer by SEVENTEEN at first i was a bit sceptical and rewatched the video just because of the epic choreography i’m still amazed. and then i was just like “well, that song kinda slays. hard.”

· Feeling Good by Apashe feat. Cherry Lena also a song i didn’t like in the beginning. but then after the second time listening to it: freaking awesome.

· Fiancé by Mino so good. stuck in my head for days and i loved every second of it.

· Mashup: Pop/Stars (K/DA) and Mic Drop (BTS) by Miggy Smallz really fast paced but awesome. and the songs actually fit together really well.

· Monody by TheFatRat feat. Laura Brehm another youtube recommendation. another great artist i found that way.

· Regular by NCT 127 i still can’t take this song seriously mullets... the only people allowed to wear them are new kids. but yeah. i dig this song. it has a really intersting vibe.

· Rise by Skillet we were having a game night and this song came on like 12 times. well, guess what was stuck in my head for the next few days.

· The Spectre by Alan Walker hello, hello!

· This Is What I’ve Waited For by Vicetone i had to make another video and that was the background music. can’t say that i didn’t build the entire video around this song just because i love it.

· Trouble by Cage the Elephant my cousin can actually play an epic piano cover of this song. and when she played it for me, i fell in love with this band again. so good.

No worries. If you love mind-bending films, then read on. I will mention some movies that you can watch or rewatch again while waiting for Tenet.

We can agree that there is always something different about mind-bending films, like an art piece painted by Leonardo Da Vinci, that has layers of meaning. You can spend hours on it, and when you finally get it, you feel euphoric.

To make your day good, better, or great, we have listed 10 films with a mind-bending story structure while you wait for Christopher Nolan’s summertime epic.

Primer

This Shane Carruth film is so complex that it will take a genius to understand the film in the first watch.Furthermore, if you read the explanation from dedicated forums and websites, you still need some time before you can finally begin to wrap your head around it.

Shane Carruth was a mathematics student and former engineer when he wrote, acted, and directed the film that also stars David Sullivan. The structure of the film is one of a kind and has never been repeated ever since.

Donnie Darko

You will not get the film after the credits have rolled. But once you get it, you will have a hard time getting the film out of your head. The film is so very well crafted that you will not find anything else that is even remotely similar to this.

It’s a film that took 10 years of Christopher Nolan’s life, but everybody agrees that it was worth it. It’s a film that has dictated filmmaking since the time it was released.

The ensemble cast is everything you need to accentuate the brilliant plot of the film. Leonardo DiCaprio plays the role of Dominic Cobb, a professional thief who steals ideas from a person’s mind. He is offered a job by a Japanese businessman Ken Watanabe which, if he successfully completes, can get him back to his children whom he had left years ago.

The very last scene has created a very passionate debate and speculation among fans, and that precisely is the reason that has made this film so special.

Source Code

This is another Jake Gyllenhaal film that can be treated as a masterpiece. It is also a very emotional film that can make you appreciate your life at the end. In the flick, a helicopter pilot is a part of a military operation which enables him to experience the final moments of Sean Fentress.

Coherence

This is a 2013 film written and directed by James Ward Bykrit, who had previously worked in Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The man took nine months to write the script and then shot it with friends over the weekend.

It deals with friends who get together for dinner when a comet passes, leading to highly mysterious occurrences. The film stars Emily Baldoni in the lead role.

2001 Space Odyssey

Often regarded as the greatest film of all time alongside Godfather, this 1968 film should be preserved as one of the finest gems in the history of cinema. The film has layers of meaning which have been analyzed by many. The novel, written concurrently with the script, is often regarded as the key to its many unanswered questions. The story deals with two astronauts and an AI HAL 9000 voyage to Jupiter.

Mulholland Drive

David Lynch’s psychological thriller from the year 2001 is often regarded as the best psychological neo-noir film by many polls on different platforms. The film also earned him an Oscar nomination.

It follows the story of an actress who is played by Naomi Watts, who meets an amnesiac car accident victim played by Laura Harring.

V for Vendetta

This is a film based on DC/ Vertigo comics that came out in 1988. V is an anarchist played by Hugo Weaving, who befriends Natalie Portman’s character, Evey.

The film revolves around V’s masterplan to bring down an authoritarian government.

The film has been remembered as the spirit of the weak against the powerful and has been quite famous in recent times, especially during the Black Lives Matter movement.

Annihilation

The film is in the horror genre and deals with the group of women scientists who venture out in their expedition inside a quarantined zone where plants and animals show unexplainable mutated characteristics because of an alien presence.

Though the film failed to impress at the box office, it has garnered praise over the years.

Fight Club

The film had to be on the list. This 1999 thriller stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in the lead roles. Norton’s character is the protagonist of the film.

The film deals with the protagonist’s frustration with society and his desperate measures to escape it. The protagonist meets a mysterious yet highly philosophical man named Tyler Durden and joins hands with him to start their cult named Fight Club.

The finale of the film is so profoundly mind-boggling that you would be compelled to re-watch the film again.

Conclusion

Films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Enemy, and The Butterfly Effect can also make anybody’s list without any dispute and at least deserve an honorable mention here. There are Netflix TV series such as Dark, Black Mirror, and Altered Carbon that can engage you while you await the release of Tenet.

Neon Genesis Evangelion, il nuovo doppiaggio è su Netflix

L’iconica serie animata di Hideaki Anno parla di nuovo italiano.

A distanza di ormai un anno, Netflix ha reinserito in sordina il doppiaggio italiano di “Neon Genesis Evangelion”, in una nuova versione curata stavolta da Laura Cosenza e diretta da Roberto Stocchi.

Per chi avesse rimosso quei giorni di fuoco, ricordiamo che il precedente e criticatissimo nuovo adattamento della serie cult di Hideaki Anno, realizzato da Gualtiero Cannarsi e diretto da Fabrizio Mazzotta per il lancio dell’anime sulla piattaforma, al tempo creò malumori sia tra il pubblico che in sede di doppiaggio. A seguito del polverone, Netflix decise di rimuovere il doppiaggio dal catalogo, lasciando disponibili solo i sottotitoli, in attesa di sistemare il pasticcio.

I 26 episodi dell’opera magna del regista sono approdati sulla piattaforma il 21 giugno dello scorso anno, accompagnati dai film “Evangelion: Death (true)²” e “The End of Evangelion”; il primo riassume gli eventi della serie tramite vari spezzoni, introducendo delle parti inedite, mentre il secondo prosegue da dove lasciato, proponendo un finale alternativo a quello concettuale visto nella serie.

In attesa dell’uscita di “Evangelion 3.0+1.0″, quarto ed ultimo film della saga, ora, sembra un buon momento per farsi un rewatch, che dite?

Last one tonight, I promise! Just some overall thoughts after rewatching Da Vinci’s Demons S1E1 with the commentary, and having fun playing with @idriseleven

1. Leo and Zo aren’t even pretending to wear shirts, they basically just have on sleeves and a back. Their chests are wide open (which exactly no one is complaining about).

2. Lucrezia’s dresses are incredibly gorgeous (the first black one, with the pink flowers and purple cape omg) and her jewelry is fabulous.

3. The Turk is such a hottie with the most beautiful, intense eyes, even if his eyeliner game is not quite as strong as in future episodes.

4. Leo is so much hotter with short hair. #burnthewig #fightme

5. The hottest Riario (imho) would be Season 1 Riario’s facial hair, Season 3 Ep 5’s hair and Season 3 Ep 3′s eyeliner, mmm perfect Riario!

6. At least one of the creators had some sort of plan for the mythology and clues planted in Season 1; too bad that didn’t all come to fruition.

7. This episode’s commentary was mostly Goyer talking and discussing some things of interest, but the actors get to speak a little more in the next one. There are two really cute moments though.

One of my favorite bits came during Leo and Lucrezia’s sex scene.

Blake Ritson piped up: Bit of trivia, I actually play Tom Riley’s body double in this scene.

Goyer: And they CG’ed Tom’s face onto your body?

Ritson: Mm-hm, it cost a lot of money, but I think it’s worth it.

Riley: I’m so grateful.

*assorted laughter*

Goyer: The fireworks are meant to, not so cheaply, be ejaculatory.

(Yeah, as if anyone missed that, you weren’t exactly subtle, dude.)

And the second cute bit was during the end credits:

Tom Riley: There’s actually lyrics to the theme tune, so Blake’s going to sing along with the lyrics. *Laura laughing*

Another Love (The Flash; Barry/E2Wells, Barry/Thawne; 4,586 words) “I want you,” Barry confesses unhappily, a charming pucker between his brows. His eyes dart back up, not shying away for once, to meet Eobard’s. A little bit of steel creeps into his expression again, and Eobard wants to applaud him all over again. What a beautiful creature he’s created.

time in a bottle (The Flash; Eobarry; 2,961 words) “If I didn’t exist,” Thawne says, quietly, moving to slide his fingers up Barry’s jaw; they leave goosebumps in their wake. “Then neither would you. And if you didn’t exist… well. We won’t get into that mess. So the universe — the, hah, Speed Force — sent me here. A paradox, clinging to the cracks between time. Just… waiting.”

nothing's gonna harm you (not while i'm around) (SW; Gen, Reylo; 1,167 words) Ben and Rey Organa are born ten years and five hundred parsecs apart, but Ben can feel it in the Force the moment she comes into being. He can feel her every second of her way home, a bright star that outshines even the familiar intensity of his parents.

we dream in the dark (for the most part) (DA; Gen; 806 words) “Will it go away?” Bethany asks, her voice quiet as a whisper.

Ramble On (The Flash; Eobarry; 2,695 words) Thawne playfully hums a few bars of something vaguely familiar. Barry looks back at him, and when Thawne sees him looking, he smiles wider and gleefully stomps his way through a puddle. Sings, “If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I’d like to do…”

D.C. al Coda (The Flash; Barrison; Harrison edges closer, until Barry is close enough to touch, and reaches out to take Barry’s jaw in hand. It’s tacky and cool against his palm, from sweat, tears, or both. He tilts Barry’s chin up in a testing sort of way, willing him to open his eyes. “Barry,” he says, gently. “Look at me.”)

it began with stones (DA; Fenhawke; Everyone knows that the blight started in Ferelden.)

darling, you gotta let me know (Stranger Things; Nancy/Steve/Jonathan; 6,120 words) Jonathan’s room is messy the same way that Steve’s is. There are dirty socks and shirts and underwear strewn across the floor. Cassette tapes litter the desk like miniature landmines. There’s a notebook open on his bed, a textbook and a pencil beside it. He must have been studying when Steve knocked.

Binary Sunset (SW; Reylo; 1,747 words) Center stage, Rey holds herself as still as a statue. Spine straight, toes pointed, already in first position. They’ve done something to her eyelashes, softened all her hard edges, from the jut of her jaw to the point of her nose. She glitters, from her feathered bodice to her flowing skirts, a bright glint of white in the dark.He doesn’t think that anyone else has noticed that she’s trembling.

Nine fics. I don’t even want to know how many words.

Best story I wrote this year: darling, you gotta let me know. It was the first fic that I was proud of from the get go this year.

What’s your favorite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest. Ramble On. It had all of the weird dreaminess of Time In a Bottle without the Inception feel. I ended up rereading it on the plane back to Ohio and liked it so much more than I did when I was writing it.

Okay, NOW your most popular story. darling, you gotta let me know, hands down. It’s the first fic to get over a 1000 kudos since I stopped writing Teen Wolf. I mean, of the nine fics that I wrote this year pretty much every one of them is from a smaller fandom. I think the only reason this one got as popular as it did was because I published it right after Stranger Things got big and I was one of the three people who had written for the pairing. Story of mine most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: it began with stones, probably? I usually have a definite answer for this question, but this one was strange as it is. Dragon Age/In the Flesh fusion with Hawke as a zombie? Kinda weird. I don’t mind that it got a small reception, but it fits the most.

Most fun story to write: Another Love. I had a ton of fun playing with that whole concept. Barry going back in time to when Eobard was playing at being Wells was a fucking gift.

Story that could have been better? All of them? Technically? I’m still not entirely pleased with how time in a bottle turned out, but I ramped that one up in my head for so long that I’ll probably never be satisfied with it.

Story I wrote to fix things: Pretty much all of my Flash fics were written to make something better. Ramble On and time in a bottle were both written to satisfy my need for there to be a current-timeline paradox Thawne still out there, tucked away in the speedforce, just biding his time. Hell, all of the God Complex series were written because I wanted to rewrite or add bits to an episode to suit my shipper heart.

Oddest story: it began with stones. In the Flesh. Dragon Age. Kind of weird. But my brain went, what would Jen like for her birthday? Okay, she likes Dragon Age. And she likes zombies. How can I write zombies in a way that I haven’t written them yet? Oh, I know! Hardest story to do: Okay, so it isn’t on here, but the Sabriel AU is what I’ve really been suffering through. I hit a point and wasn’t able to overcome it, which is why it still isn’t done. I’m hoping to read Goldenhand and the rest of the Like Young Gods series sometime this month and we’ll see if it inspires anything. Easiest story to write? I struggled with pretty much everything I wrote this year except for Another Love. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it just so happens to be the only fic I wrote before I gave up smoking.

Most mining of your own history in one story: Pretty much none of them. D.C. al Coda has a lot of my experiences with grief, but that’s about it.

Themes, or absence thereof: Pretty much ‘heroes and villains make out’. Or in the case of Hawke and Fenris... rivalmancy. Where did you publish/archive your stories? Ao3, as per usual. Story I haven’t yet written, but intend to: I have nixed pretty much all of my Teen Wolf projects. I would like to say that at some point I’ll finish the Bioshock Infinite AU and the Carmilla one, just because I have so much written of it already, but I don’t know. I do know that I want to finish the Sabriel AU and I currently have a weirdly one-sided Julian/Barry fic, a Prompto/Noctis pining fic, and several Stargate Atlantis fics that I want to finish. Oh, and maybe the Yuri on Ice soulmate AU if I can make the idea hang around long enough to get to.

Sexiest moment (excerpt): He slides the palms of his hands up her sides, ghosting them up and over her ribs, framing them, feeling where the softness of skin and muscle gives way to hard bone where her rib cage starts, how each breath she takes pushes her body more firmly into his hands. She makes a noise when he reaches her breasts, shuddering when he cups them, even through the fabric.

“Please,” she breathes, and Jonathan hesitates, unsure of what she wants.

“Here,” Steve murmurs, taking hold of Jonathan’s hands once more. He guides them to the buttons of Nancy’s blouse and pauses, waiting, as Jonathan undoes them himself, his touch sliding down Jonathan’s forearms then back up again.

Jonathan pushes the blouse from Nancy’s shoulders, watching the blush that blooms under his eyes, going from her throat clear to her navel. Her cheeks are flushed too, her eyes black and wanting.

Steve lets go of him, maybe realizing that Jonathan won’t be of much help at this moment, and his hands vanish around Nancy’s sides, quick and darting. It isn’t until he’s helping her pull her bra loose that Jonathan even realizes what he’s done.

Steve’s hands go back to his, guiding them to Nancy’s breasts. The skin is firm and supple, and so very warm. Her nipples pull tight when his hand brushes them. Steve leans close to Jonathan’s ear, and whispers, “Touch her.”

Crackiest moment (excerpt): Outside, it’s raining. The air is heavy with humidity, heat pressing down on his back like something alive. Barry walks down the street, feet bare against the wet asphalt. Thunder rumbles threateningly in the distance. A bird sings, and a street over, another joins it. Everything is green and damp. It smells real. Would a dream smell real?

Halfway down the street, a second pair of feet join his. The person they belong to is silent, doggedly following him down the road. Barry doesn’t have to turn to know who his newest phantom is.

“Are you going to sing at me too?”

“Do you want me to sing to you?” Thawne asks.

Barry glances at him, frowning unhappily. He’s wearing Wells’ face again, a familiar little half-smile playing around his lips. His suit is wet. It isn’t the suit — not the yellow one — just a regular one. Plain. Black. The fabric clings to his shoulders and his hair is dripping in his eyes. His feet are bare too, and somehow it feels wrong to see them, the fine slender bones gleaming wetly. Too intimate.

Barry swallows and looks away, but even when he concentrates, it refuses to change. Figures, that even in a dream Thawne would cause him grief. When Barry doesn’t reply, Thawne playfully hums a few bars of something vaguely familiar.

Barry looks back at him, and when Thawne sees him looking, he smiles wider and gleefully stomps his way through a puddle. Sings, “If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I’d like to do…”

Favorite dialogue (excerpt): “At least,” Eobard interrupts, thoughtfully tapping his finger against his lips. Slowly, he starts to grin. “Not everything. So, Mr. Allen, I’ll ask you again. What do you want?”

The answer is written all over Barry’s face. There’s a story there, behind the pain, the grief, the hopeless lust, and it’s one that Eobard knows he’ll get to live out himself over the course of the next year. He wonders just how many times he fucked this boy before the truth came out. The boy — his Barry — already loves him. Not like this, of course, not yet, but a hero worshiping kind that he’s had since day one.

“Well?” He coaxes, eyes widening. “I’m waiting.”

Barry wets his lips convulsively and swallows, his adam’s apple working. He tugs on the cuff, halfheartedly, mouth turned downwards. He didn’t expect this. Maybe he’d expected closure. Or maybe he’d convinced himself that all he really needed was the formula. But he wants this. And Eobard’s going to make him say it.

“I want you,” he confesses unhappily, a charming pucker between his brows. His eyes dart back up, not shying away for once, to meet Eobard’s. A little bit of steel creeps into his expression again, and Eobard wants to applaud him all over again. What a beautiful creature he’s created.

“Just you,” he adds, just as quiet and unhappy, but with a dawning comprehension. “Eobard Thawne.”

A shiver crawls down his spine, dick twitching in his pants. God, it’s good to hear that name again. “Oh, Mr. Allen,” he breathes. “Say it again, won’t you?”

Favorite lines (excerpt):

Jonathan had known that they’d done this before. After all, he was sort of a witness to it. But up close it’s something else, it’s poetry in motion, the way that Nancy’s head tips back, the bead of sweat that slides down the tip of Steve’s nose, how her legs wrap around his waist, her small feet locking at the dip of Steve’s spine.

It’s beautiful, and his fingers itch for his camera, so he fumbles around beside him, stretching his arm out to his desk until he catches the strap and can tug it into his hands. He watches them through the lens of his camera for a moment before he gets up the courage to touch, tapping Steve with his foot and then gesturing with the camera, head cocked.

Can I?

Steve’s entire face transforms when he laughs, going bright with emotion. He nudges Nancy until she glances over and then she’s laughing too, and they’re both nodding.

He catches them both mid laugh, naked limbs flung around each other. And then he catches the moment that the laughter turns to something else, mouths half-parted in breathless pleasure. He catches the curve of Nancy’s breast and the freckle behind Steve’s ear, and then he waits, breathless, for the right moment.

He waits and waits, and the moment that they both go still, bodies shaking with pleasure, mouth caught on soundless moans-

He swallows, lowering the camera as it spits the picture out with a hiss, and holds it in his hand, watching them. Their eyes are closed, breathless little smiles across their faces, sweat on their brows. Steve hasn’t even pulled out of her.

Fic goals: Finish Sabriel AU. That’s it. My only other writing-related goal is to get out of this funk, write something big (which will hopefully be the Sabriel AU) and something original. Fingers crossed.

Die Internetkonferenz Republica ist zu einer Gesellschaftskonferenz geworden, heißt es. Und es stimmt: Sie ist heute fest in der Hand von Fernsehmachern die dort allerdings länger und ausdauernder sprechen als in ihren Studios. Hans und Stefan hören sehr genau hin, was Gerog Restle, Kai Gniffke, Dunja Hayali, Patricia Schlesinger, Thomas Bellut, Larissa Rieß und Sophie Passmann zu präsentieren und zu sagen haben. Die langweilige Nachrichtenwoche handeln wir kurz ab. Es gibt zwei Intros, Musik von Mathias und Audiokommentare. Nächste Woche das alles wieder im üblichen Rhythmus.
