House parties were never really your "scene".

The chaos and uncertaintiy of whose house you're even in, the smell of colognes and perfumes and sweat, the alcohol being mixed together in plastic cups that are discarded on the floor later that smell like Disneyland if it wasn't cleaned in a month-. Every part of a house party sounds awful. So, why are you standing in one now?

Well, your friend Lauren would be the reason why. Work had been a bitch for her recently - her words not yours - and you had gone through a breakup recently, prompting her to suggest a girl's night out. How you ended up at a house party from the crappy bar she dragged you to in downtown Chicago was beyond you.

"C'mon! This is totally gonna distract you from Lippy and all the drama he brought. To being single!" Lauren drunkingly cheers as she holds up her plastic cup of (you're sure) three different kinds of alcohol. You hold up your glass of water barely, running a hand over your face. "Yeah, can we not announce that?" You ask.

Two seconds later, she's giggling with a guy leading her up the stairs. You sigh, turning to go get some fresh air when there he stands. Lip Gallagher. Your freshly appointed ex-boyfriend. Or Lippy, as Lauren refers to him.

You and Lip had dated for two years, but you'd known him since you were kids. Your relationship was perfect, until one night. When he called you clingy, a bitch - this was of course after not talking to you for almost a whole week. You told him that night you were done with him. That he could call when he figured himself out.

He didn't call. It'd been a month.

It doesn't feel real that time has passed that quickly, because part of you is still stuck in his bedroom. Right where he left you. A lesson well learned.

"Hi." He says, as he stares at you. You stare right back.

"Hi." You manage to get out, clearing your throat. "I have to go-"

"Wait. Can we talk, please?" He asks, walking over to you, a hand on your arm as he whispers to you. The world stops for a pause before you nod. "Fine." You agree.

You let him lead you upstairs into an empty room, taking it in. It looks to be a guest bedroom, few decorations other then picture frames with the "welcome to our home" and flower vases on the nightstands.

"Welcome to my hell" would be a better fit.

"Why are we avoiding each other like this? You've been my best friend since I was fucking ten years old, I don't want us to lose each other like this." He says as you sit on the edge of the bed, taking note of the floral bedspread. "We already lost each other, Lip. A long time ago." You point out.

"Don't do this shit, don't be all cryptic." He rolls his eyes as you stand right back up, almost giving yourself whiplash. But that's disregarded when every memory floods back to you.

"Oh my God! What the hell do you want from me, Lip, huh? You want me to just forget every single thing you said to me? Or maybe you want me to just forget how you avoided me like the damn plague for a week before you finally did call me just to blow up at me and tell me you didn't want to be with me anymore. You can't go from telling me I was your favorite person to telling me you think I'm a bitch. And I can’t even look at my favorite person anymore, so what the fuck do you expect me to do?" You burst out, turning away from him, staring out the window.

It's silent for what feels like an eternity before you feel his arms wrap around your waist from behind. "I don't want to lose you. I- I haven't been me since you left. Please." He isn't sure what he's even begging for from you, but his voice is soft enough where you feel yourself wanting to give in.

This was a bad idea, right? After all, he was your ex. But you're both mature adults, can't two people reconnect? You'd only see him as a friend this time, it wasn't like he had to be something more.

You sigh as you push his arms off, walking for the door, waiting for a moment before locking it. You turn back around to face him, walking over to him and barely grazing his lips with your own to tease him before he kisses you. His hands find themselves on your waist like how he used to put them there when he kissed you like this.

Used. It still doesn't feel real to use parts of your relationship in the past tense. How you used to kiss him, how he used to hold you, how he used to be yours.

You kick your shoes off, and he does the same.

You feel a sharp prick in your neck and your mind goes to the only person you've ever loved. You take Larissa as an anchor, transporting you to where she is but something went wrong and you end up on the outskirts of Nevermore.

You quickly start your run looking for the woman, you check her officer, room, classrooms, common areas; you start to despair for not finding her anywhere and you try again, this time appearing in the greenhouse.

You fall by her side taking her lifeless body in your arms while tears fall freely down your face.

-Rissa,- you plead, clinging to her body.

Unconsciously your power begins to work absorbing all life around you, killing the plants in the greenhouse, as you bring Larissa back to life.

The woman wakes with a jolt before falling unconscious from the physical toll of it all.

You see the woman kneeling in front of you and your eyes fill with tears knowing that you will have to turn her away.

-Larissa I...- feeling a strong pain in your heart -I can't do it- you say with your voice breaking at the end.

-It's okay honey, I'll wait for you when you're ready,- standing up and coming closer to you.

-It's not that,- leaving space between you and taking courage to end this, -We have to end it,- holding back the urge to cry.

After that Larissa left your house with a broken heart, if it were up to you you would have accepted her proposal, happy to be able to form a life together; but if you really loved her, you had to do it for her own well being.

By the next day there was no longer any trace of you in Jericho, you had disappeared during the night leaving behind the only person you had ever loved.

You come out of your thoughts when you hear a groan, turning to look at Larissa, as she regains consciousness.

-Take it easy,- internally debating whether you should leave her alone.

-What are you doing here?" she asks angrily as you receive a death stare from her.

-I came back for you,- you say forcing a smile.

She simply looks away trying to hide her eyes that are starting to fill with tears.

-I'm so sorry for all the pain I caused you,- sitting down next to her, -I deserve that you hate me, but I would have hated myself more if I had let them find you,- tracing meaningless patterns on your leg, -as long as we were together it was only a matter of time before they came for you...".

An awkward silence is created as your words hang in the air.

-I think you'll be happy to know that Marilyn or Lauren is dead," getting off the bed to leave.

Larissa stands there, not knowing what to do with what you had told her, all this time she wanted to know the reason why you ended the relationship and now that she knew the answers she had no idea what to do with it.

From the beginning she knew it was going to be difficult, when she met you you were cold and distant with everyone, not letting anyone break through the walls you had built. But somehow Larissa managed to break down one by one until she got to the purest part of you and had realized that it was actually your way of protecting yourself from the rest of the world.

She was aware that you had a rather dark past, which you simply preferred not to talk about and she respected that, but to learn that because of this same past was the reason why you abandoned her was a heavy blow.

Weems was standing in front of the house in which you two had shared good times years ago, it looked exactly the same as the last time, it hurt her to know that she would never see you again, you were just gone...again.

-Larissa,- she hears a voice behind her.

She turns around, finding you there with some bags in your hands.

-I thought you had left,- surprised at your presence.

-I have nowhere else to go and technically the house is mine.

They stand there looking at each other, there were so many things to say that none of them dared to take the first step, a strong wind makes them shiver, inviting her to come in.

-I'll make some tea,- in an attempt not to be alone with her.

You stand in front of the stove as you try to process why she is here, you had ruined it a year ago, why will your house come.

-Why did you do it?- asks a voice behind you.

-They were very close to finding me and I was afraid that...- being interrupted by Larissa.

-I don't mean that, why did you bring me back?

-For all these years you were the reason to keep fighting...I couldn't let you go,- turning to look at her and holding her gaze upward.

-I don't know whether to trust you,- he replies, looking away.

-Then I will take it upon myself to show you every day that you can do it," approaching her and taking one of her hands.

Regaining trust in someone meant demonstrating with actions that things could be different, as well as time; but you would make sure to spend every second of your life proving to Larissa that she could trust you.

Hello! Hope your day is going well. I was wondering if for the Compresses Power Rangers Timeline AU, if you could list the teams, who's on each team, their rough age and what they do(and possibly the town's name-or would it make sense to use Angel Grove?). I really want to make a one shot of a typical day in this town for the AU, but I only know Ninja Steel, Dino Charge, Samaria and MMPR. I want to make this as accurate as possible. Thanks! Mr. Garcia keeps his regular job but also gives Javi less of a hard time because music teachers are supposed to be able to play a bunch of different instruments and it looks like he has good chance to take Maya’s place when she leaves the school

Solon remains in the base because she is a dinosaur

Extra notes I came up with on the fly

K is growingly more paranoid due to the number of ranger teams she has evidence have robots in their ranks especially the beast morphers since that’s the team their closest too

Preston was “bullied” out of the magic the gathering club by the mystic rangers due to Vida trying to accuse him of being an evil wizard without blowing their cover. Vida’s exact words were “we don’t don’t want your kind around here”. The ninja steel team now thinks the magic the gathering club is homophobic towards Preston and hates them. Ironically the mystic rangers all love the blue ninja steel ranger and the ninja steel rangers really life the mystic force.

Summer after spending the entire night fighting vengix and exhausted as she walks in the door and Mack the day after he found out he’s a robot. “Summer would you still be my friend if I was a robot?” “Absolutely not” cue Mack having a break down in the janitor closet only to be found by Ben and Betty who assure him they would still be his friends even if he was a robot

Mick is the impromptu medic to most of the robotic rangers

Tyzon is not sure what normal human anatomy should look like so he just copies a lot of what he’s seen Dana do but also does know someone from aquatar when he sees one and treats their injuries accordingly and the aquatar rangers just think he’s a human whose really good with secrets

The teachers are youngish (most haven’t hit 30 yet) and I use TA as a short hand for teachers in training so they’re earlier 20s. And then most of the students besides Justin and Nate are between 14-18 with Justin and Nate both being 12.

Generally everyone else is around the age they are in the show

Captain Lindsay M. "MAD" Johnson - Captain Lindsay Johnson is the A-10C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team Pilot and Commander, DavisMonthan AFB, Arizona. She is responsible for showcasing the A-10 Thunderbolt II at over 20 airshows annually around the country, as well as internationally. Major Lauren “Threat” Schlichting - Major Lauren Schlichting is the Slot Pilot for the U.S. Air Force Demonstration Squadron, flying the No. 4 jet. She earned her commission in 2012 from the University of St. Thomas Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps program where she majored in Mathematics and played lacrosse. Before joining the Thunderbirds, she was an evaluating pilot and executive officer for the 333rd Fighter Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. She enjoys hockey, snowboarding, and surviving the Great White North. She has logged more than 2,000 flight hours in the F-15E, F-16, T-38, and T-6 with 420 combat hours. Lieutenant Amanda "Stalin" Lee- Lieutenant Amanda Lee is the Left Wing pilot for the United States Navy Blue Angles, flying the No. 3 jet. She is a native of Mounds View, MN and she graduated from Irondale High School in 2004, where she competed in soccer, ice hockey and swimming. While attending the University of Minnesota Duluth, Amanda enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT) and reported to her first command, VFA-136 "Knighthawks." She was selected to commission as a Pilot through the Seaman-to-Admiral (STA-21) commissioning program in 2009. The following year, Lee attended the Naval Science Institute (NSI) for officer training in Newport, Rhode Island, and simultaneously began her studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where she received a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry.

Amanda joined the Blue Angels in September 2022, becoming the first woman to fly in a demo F/A-18E/F Super Hornet with the team. She has accumulated more than 1,400 flight hours and over 225 carrier-arrested landings. Her decorations include four Navy Achievement medals and various personal and unit awards.

La pellicola è un musical biografico che celebra la perseveranza, l’importanza di perseguire i propri sogni e una storia d’amore tra l’arte e l’artista. È ambientata in una New York nella quale l’epidemia di AIDS sta uccidendo ogni giorno tantissimi giovani, tra cui i più cari amici del protagonista, Jon, interpretato da un meraviglioso Andrew Garfield che, tra l’altro, vince il Golden Globe come “Miglior attore in un film o una commedia musicale”. Si tratta, inoltre, di un’opera visionaria e colorata ambientata in una cupezza che trova la sua espressione attraverso le immagini di un mondo il più universale possibile. Il punto di forza del film è il modo in cui è stato trattato il pensiero di Jon, totalmente in linea con la sua personalità frizzante e creativa.

“Kate?” A voice called from downstairs, echoing through ageing walls. Picking her head up, Kate’s scribbling hand halts, mindless in its motions. Blinking, she realises the ache in the back of her neck, stemming right where her head met her spine. And beneath her hand, three pages sat on the wood of her desk, one covered top to bottom in a symbol, one she had drawn ever since she knew how to, of a cross in a circle, over and over until not even a border was left on the page. Literally no clue...I think it may have to do with everyone preferring Lauren x Kate than CR x Kate (even tho the right answer is obviously all three of them together smh).
