"I'm the stupid but charming protagonist!" - Yuji Itadori, Episode 3 JJK Abridged (by The Schmuck Squad).

Reasons To Why I Believe These Characters Should Be Cast As The Variant of JJK Abridge's Yuji Itadori are listed below:

Elrand Brandt (Fallout Vault Dweller OC, faceclaim Jason Statham) -> Main protagonist privilege, and despite being in his early 20s, will cuss you out unprompted.

Finidy Mona (Fallout 2 Chosen One OC, faceclaim Jessica Alba) -> Main protagonist privilege, and extremely gullible yet a badass.

Alph Dolen (Fallout 3 Lone Wanderer OC, faceclaim Sam Blanckensee. Has transformed into a Ghoul) -> Main protagonist privilege, companions move on from him, despite being smart he has youthful gullibility.

Ryder (Fallout New Vegas Courier Six OC, faceclaim Halle Berry. Has gained cybernetic implants from the Think Tank on Big MT) -> Main protagonist privilege, most definitely not that nice underneath the surface.

Nate Gust Sarid (Fallout 4 Sole Survivor OC, faceclaim Steven He. He is a synthetic human) -> Main protagonist privilege, a bit dense but has some charm.

Vega (Fallout 76 Resident OC, faceclaim Yvonne Strahovski. Has transformed into a Super Mutant) -> Main protagonist privilege, wildly unpredictable and not as smart as she makes herself out to be.

Ian (from Fallout, Elrand's first and closest companion, helped fake his death after fighting their way out of the Lieutenant's attempted interception when the Master decided to blow up the base) -> Closest human companion to the Vault Dweller, seems reasonable enough, his artificial stupidity will be taken as canon and is now prone to accidental friendly fire.

Miria (from Fallout 2, Finidy's wife after both were caught in the act by Miria's father, Grisham, causing a shotgun wedding, and throughout their journey together they become closer and Miria becomes a rather cool fighter, unlike in canon but the mods are impressive) -> Dense and horny but with standards.

Butch DeLoria (from Fallout 3, leader of the Tunnel Snakes and Alph's former childhood bully until he saved Butch's mother's life from Radroaches, and after a turn of events that lead to Alph taking Amata with him out of Vault 101, Butch managed to help gather up a rebellion against Overseer Almodovar and was the one who escaped the vault to find Alph and Amata to get them to return and help. After resolving the issue, the two take Butch with them on their travels, becoming the official founding members of the newest Tunnel Snakes) -> He's got the confidence, the humor, and some small form of gullibility. He checks some boxes.

Arcade Israel Gannon (from Fallout New Vegas, researcher of the Followers of the Apocalypse, a remnant of the Enclave, and a reliable companion whom Ryder respects and appreciates, especially for his finesse in energy weapons) -> Out of all the companions to react to variants of themselves in an abridged series, I think his would be the funniest.

Danse (from Fallout 4, a loyal Paladin in Maxson's chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel, helps Nate get onboard the Prydwen and meet Maxson, a capable ally who warms up to Nate, despite his xenophobic beliefs, has a crisis after finding out his entire life has been a lie when discovering he was a synth the whole time and the group who gave him purpose have turned their back on him. Nate though doesn't give up on him and gets him out of the BoS without being killed, and gives him a place amongst the Minutemen, which Danse was greatly appreciative and grateful for. It's a long journey, but he is letting go of the hatred he had towards others and himself) -> Danse gets the short end of the stick a lot, and I think writing his reaction towards his Yuji!variant would be pretty mind baffling (for him). Not to mention, although dense, he is brave.

A Letter Filled With Love and Appreciation

As some of you might know, I express my thoughts, feelings and emotions through writing and words. In fact, my number one love language is words of affirmation. I just think that little notes, messages and letters filled with love and positivity goes a long way. This is my fan-art (in a way) and nothing but love flows every time I write something about the people and things that I appreciate and love.

This whole post is a letter that is dedicated to one of the best fandoms that I have ever joined this year. That is none other than the TZP Squad. This might be lengthy, might not be, but one thing's for sure, I'm gonna be a little bit sentimental considering what they've got me feeling these past few days.

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I think that giving thanks and being grateful knows no time and date. Since it's Thanksgiving season anyway, this will be my Thanksgiving gift to the lovely angels of the fandom who has been nothing but pleasant, accepting, warm and just some of the kindest folks that I have ever encountered online. Other than Taylor himself and some of my other favorite people, these folks are what keep me sticking around in the crazy and ever-evolving realm of social media.

So, without further ado, here's my letter of love and thanks to my dearest fandom, the TZP Squad.

To my dearest TZP Squad,

I would like to start the letter by telling you guys that the found family trope is one of my favorite tropes in books. Just the feeling of finding people outside your own bloodline that loves and appreciates you is a special feeling.

To me, a fandom is like a virtual family, where the members bond and share a mutual love for a specific person or a group of people. Nothing compares to the happiness and pride I feel being a part of one. I have been a part of several fandoms throughout the years, some are still active and some no longer. With every fandom I enter, I always make a promise to stay there for as long as I can unless my heart calls to another or I'm no longer interested in the content or there's too much controversy and negativity that I had to leave and just be a casual supporter instead of a die-hard fan.

The TZP Squad is a special one. What started with me casually replying and liking some posts on Twitter/X and IG turned into something special and meaningful. You guys are just some of the most pleasant, sweetest, kindest and most respectful bunch of people that I have ever encountered on social media. To be able to interact with you and share the mutual love for Taylor Zakhar Perez with you guys have been amazing so far.

The amount of creativity and artistry in this fandom is just overflowing. The edits and the artworks are just amazing and is deserving of so much appreciation. I have a few of my favorite accounts that I interact with on a daily basis but all of you honestly deserves lots of love and appreciation.

Since I live in the Philippines which is in Southeast Asia where it's night when it's day for some, if not most, of you guys, being able to wake up to your TZP-related updates, photos, videos, interview insights and edits is just some of my favorite things to wake up to. Like to be honest, I can't start my day without seeing and interacting a least a couple of posts from you guys.

That's quite the story time, I'll actually now get to the "Thanks-giving part" before I get carried away.

My dearest members of the TZP Squad, first and foremost, thank you for accepting a newbie like me into the fandom. This fandom is new on its own but I know some of you have known Taylor since his "The Kissing Booth" days. Thank you for the warmest and most pleasant welcome into the fandom. Do continue to be your pleasant and accepting souls so our little squad can continue to grow and diversify.

Secondly, thank you for letting me share my thoughts and feelings about Taylor without judgment. I do keep it wholesome and pretty tame most of the time by simply letting the all capital letters and emojis speak for me, but if you can see me behind the screen, I usually go pretty feral. Along with one of my best friends, you guys are the only ones who can fully understand my love for Taylor. Like I can go on and on about him for hours, I'm not kidding.

Thirdly, I thank you guys for simply being my little corner of paradise on the internet. I don't know what it is, but the TZP squad community is my favorite little corner in the messy space of social media. You guys just make my social media experience pleasant. There's no toxicity and negativity, everyone's like helping each other out. Like it's a little space of positivity and inclusivity and I love that so much.

Lastly, I really just want to thank you guys for the happiness and joy you bring to me. I consider Taylor as my sunshine, but you guys are the solar energy. The happiness that I feel increases when I see updates and content of him from you guys. I'm not on my phone 24/7 so I really appreciate it whenever you guys provide like little updates here and there about Taylor. Also, thank you for making me scream and go wild with the insane amount of photos (I don't really care if they're the same ones!) I see on my feed every day! I love you guys so much for that.

Before I end the letter, I would like to give a couple of shoutouts to some folks...

Firstly, shoutout to the folks who run @/InfoTZP and @/tzpsquads. You angels. You have been my go-to pages for TZP updates since the beginning of my TZP fan era. I appreciate the work and effort that you put into providing accurate updates and y'all are just some of the sweetest souls ever! The fandom and Taylor is lucky to have you guys! Extra shoutout to @/InfoTZP for that poster that you made me for my birthday a few days ago. I still cannot get over the cuteness and the sweetness of that gift. That was also the first time that I have ever received a gift from a fandom so I was really touched by it. Thank you for making my birthday extra special.

Secondly, to the folks over here on Tumblr, thank you for letting me express my Taylor-related thoughts on here. Thank you for liking them, reposting them and simply reading them. They can be lengthy (especially those fashion-related ones) but I really appreciate you guys taking the time to read them.

(He's not gonna read this, but who knows, he might!). Lastly, of course, to the person who is the reason this fandom even exists, Taylor Zakhar Perez. Taylor, my comforting sunshine, thank you for being you and for being the reason why I have a lovely fandom to belong in. Thank you for being an inspiration to many people and thank you for being a positive force that we can look up to. I am forever thankful to have discovered you and I promise to forever love and support you.

This is one of my many Taylor-related posts, but this is more about the fandom than Taylor himself. The fandom is just as special as Taylor and I'm excited to spend the future loving and supporting him with you guys. The TZP squad is one of the best fandoms with the sweetest people and I'm just having a pleasant ride with you guys. I'm here for the long run and I promise to stand by you Taylor and you guys until time tells me that it is already time to stop.

Happy Thanksgiving , everyone! Eat some turkey, eat some stuffing and cornbread. Celebrate and always be grateful for everything that you have!

I've watched through the end of Les Mis 1925 part II, and must say--I'm digging this version, actually? I don't know whether someone uninvested in the source material would be as engaged, but I'm here for it. Some thoughts:

I.VII.III is a bitch of a chapter to adapt to the screen and '25 pt. II gets off to a weak start with its attempt to do so. It doesn't capture the vacillation, the debate. Since this adaptation is so long I would expect this scene to have more room to breathe than it's given. The ghost of Bishop Myriel does show up to give Jean Valjean a fondly chiding look though so that's chill.

Thought for a minute we were getting a dream sequence as in I.VII.IV but no. cockteased.

Does the ghost of Fantine '78 haunt every deathbed scene for anyone else? She haunts me. Milovanoff is comparatively understated.

I'm completely won over by the dynamic between this Valjean and little Cosette. '25 retains the lost/"found" coin (over which the two share a delightful conspiratorial look) and the louis d'or as well as the absurdly extravagant gesture of Catherine, and it's a good call. They keep very close to the novel through this sequence--down to Valjean putting Catherine's hand into Cosette's when he is urging her to take the doll (I'm normally unsentimental about child characters but found this sweet).

No, really, I'm unsentimental, but later on Valjean brushes off Cosette's stockinged feet before putting her shoes on, and such a little thing does so much to communicate his love for her.

The Gorbeau house is a goddamn mess, Valjean loses a point for housing a child there.

Given this is the only time Javert's presence in Valjean's life isn't purely coincidental, it's unfortunate that '25 fails to explain his appearance at the Gorbeau house (it attempts! it does not succeed).

Pause to appreciate the Javert squad.

Once in a while an adaptation makes a change that I'd guess is due to the creative team looking at the novel and saying, "No, that's too fucking sad." I suspect that is why Fantine and Cosette get reunions in '35 and '52, for example. In '25? Cosette gets to keep Catherine.

Calling all convent husband 'shippers: Valjean reciprocates Fauchelevant's affections in this one.

Tomorrow: Cosette grows up, and God willing there's no incestuous energy.

I've been a fan since: when did the LE come out again? haha, I tried ME3 when it originally came out, got about five minutes in and was like “I am clearly missing a lot of this story” and didn’t pick it back up until the LE came out.

Favorite game of the series: ME3, for sure. Mission flow is better, weapons and mechanics are much improved, just an overall much better experience haha

MaleShep or FemShep?: Most of my Sheps are male, and I have one NB/femme and one femShep. Let’s see... Everett (Infiltrator, my main boy); Nico (Engineer), Rainier (Sentinel), Hutch (Adept), Dana (Soldier), Maxine (Vanguard)

Earthborn, Colonist or Spacer?: I tend to default to Earthborn, but I have a couple Spacers and at least one colonist in there

Paragon or Renegade? Most of my Sheps veer towards paragon

Biotics or Tech? Both? Tech, though I’ve come to appreciate biotics more (though I do prefer them in ME:A)

Favorite class: Infiltrator

Favorite companions: Kaidan, Tali, Wrex; later, EDI as well, and Liara in ME3.

Least favorite companions: Jacob; they could’ve done a lot more with that character to give him a bit more substance, I feel. He and Zaeed I think I take the least on missions

My squad selection: ME1: Kaidan and Tali; ME2: Miranda and Tali; ME3: Kaidan and Liara (and sometimes Tali or EDI, but Kaidan is a constant when available haha)

Favorite in-game romance: mShenko

Other pairings I like: Specifically with Shepard? Uhhh... I like Cortez and Shepard for sure, but I do wish we had gotten more out of it (sensing a pattern here eh)

Favorite NPC: ME1: toss up between Gianna and Shiala; ME2: EDI; ME3: Major Coats ;)

Favorite antagonist: Ryuusei’s fishtank :|

Favorite mission: Citadel DLC

Favorite loyalty mission: Kasumi’s

Favorite DLC: i honestly don’t know what content is DLC with the LE haha, it just sorta came with them i think? I know it didn’t have everything but I also can’t tell the difference

Control, Synthesis or Destroy?: Destroy; writing-wise, I have a modified Destroy ending (as in Shepard was not the one making the decision)

Favorite weapon: Widow sniper rifles (except in one of the games where they felt extra clunky for some reason?? BOO). Carnifex pistol

Favorite place: Kaidan’s arms

I’ve been a fan since: technically Andromeda, but I only played Andromeda first bc the LE was coming out in a few months. I loved the Dragon Age series before that, and I figured I would probably like ME, but the old graphics were a major turn-off for me. When the LE was announced, I got really excited bc it was another BioWare series I could binge and adore, but it wasn't out yet. My friend had just finished Andromeda and convinced me to try it, and now it's probably my favorite game series ever~

Favorite game of the series: ME2! While I love ME3 because the graphics are beautiful, and you get more substance out of romantic relationships (Garrus, specifically), ME2 has my favorite vibe. You're kind of a rogue agent, assembling a team of the most dangerous and skilled people in the galaxy, and they all become a sort of found family for Shepard after the Alliance and the Council hang you out to dry. Plus, I love the interface for the game; the orange menu screen is easy on my eyes, and I like the clicky selection noises <3

MaleShep or FemShep?: FemShep <3 I love her so much. Played MaleShep once, and I loved him, too, but it really feels like FemShep is THE Shep to me.

Earthborn, Colonist or Spacer?: Colonist

Paragon or Renegade? Paragon (close to ParaGade, but not quite)

Biotics or Tech? Tech, but biotics are really cool.

Favorite class: Infiltrator! I don't really love any class in ME1, but ME2/3 make Infiltrator the fucking best. Tactical cloak and sniper rifle, my beloveds. Vanguard is a close second.

Favorite companions: Garrus, Zaeed, Mordin, Tali, Wrex, Grunt, EDI~

Least favorite companions: Kaidan and Jacob. I have nothing against either of them personally, honest, and I think they're generally good characters. But Kaidan bores me, I find him wholly uninteresting, and Jacob is just repackaged Kaidan, imho.

My squad selection: ME1: this changes every playthrough, honestly. Often it's Garrus and someone else, most recently Ashley. Others it's Ashley and someone else, most often Wrex. ME2: Usually Zaeed and Garrus; those two are my go-tos and my faves. Current run is Garrus and Miranda, but I've taken Grunt a fair bit. ME3 is, surprise-surprise, most often Garrus and someone else, but I try to tailor squad selection to each mission so I can get the most interesting story dialogue.

Favorite in-game romance: Shepard and Garrus <3

Other pairings I like: I cannot pair my Shep with anyone else, so it's difficult, but I do appreciate others. I like FemShep with Tali, Liara, Ashley, Miranda, and Jack (bc I just think all the characters should be bi, lol).

Favorite NPC: I'm choosing multiple--Aria T'Loak, Joker, I adore Hackett, and Anderson.

Favorite antagonist: The Illusive Man in ME2. Sure, you're cooperating with him, but he's definitely an antagonist.

Favorite mission: ME1: If we're talking purely vanilla game, probably Feros. Otherwise, maybe the Bring Down the Sky DLC. ME2: Thane's recruitment or the Suicide Mission, if we're excluding loyalty missions. ME3: Grissom Academy.

Favorite loyalty mission: Oooh, tough. I really like most of them. It's a toss-up between two, but for different reasons: either Garrus's or Samara's.

Favorite DLC: ME1: To my knowledge, there was only one for ME1, besides pinnacle Station, but that couldn't be added to the LE. ME2: Lair of the Shadow Broker--LOVE the level designs. ME3: Super original and revolutionary: the Citadel, lol. That's the canon ending in my mind. OH! But I also love the Omega DLC! Hmm...

Control, Synthesis or Destroy?: Destroy, but I also change a bunch of that ending in my mind, too. Namely, that EDI and the geth live and the Citadel isn't destroyed.

Favorite weapon: N7 Valiant sniper rifle <333

Favorite place: Omega or Illium

I'm reading the sneak peek and there are four things that stood out to me:

Reyna's handwriting is really good, much neater than some of the kids her age

Claudia reminds me a bit of Lavinia, just more valley girl (without the accent) in her and minus the religion, bubblegum and possibly sexuality, and did I mention she has valley girl vibes?

Communications were down between the Camps, as in, barely any contact, if any at all, which means they don't have updates on what is going on upon the other coast, even about their loved ones (which reminds me, still, of the whole Join the Hunt debacle which is still bothering me)

Upon rereading - a lot of Roman demigods died in the Giant War? I mean, we know Octavian did, but he's like the only named (permanent) casualty we know of, so… definitely in the dozens if their numbers were “badly depleted” (and let's not even get into TTT, where the camp gets decimated, in comparison with CHB which has barely any known casualties in their encounters with foes, excluding the first series - which is obvious bias but let's not debate that on this post) and this means… it's gonna suck, and the death toll in that final battle of HoO was much higher than I expected (maybe half a dozen or less than 20 at most), and camper PTSD definitely needs to be discussed further; but we just never knew since in that battle, we were too focused on sky action with beating the lady herself and seeing Octavian go mad and fling himself with an onager into oblivion

a collection of my notes from a local newsies production

haha i have no self control and am posting this now!! anyways i saw a local production of newsies earlier tonight and here are some notable things that happened!!!

ok so before the show even began i was entertained

jack and crutchie were already lounging up on the scaffolding when we walked in

the opening announcement was from jack and crutchie, example:

crutchie: hey jack? can i sleep here tonight? i’ve been having nightmares about the refuge lately.

jack: sure (to audience) and please turn off your cell phones

crutchie: hey jack? what’s a cellphone?

jack: it’s- uh- a- go to sleep crutch

ok so first things first there were lots of girlsies and i was !!!

sniper was VERY pretty

les was played by a high school girl!!! she was so small too, not even up to kath’s shoulder!!!

davey and crutchie were both great

one of the delanceys laughed like spongebob

there were three scaffoldings and sometimes the actors would start to take a step off one while other people were wheeling them together and then land on the next, they first did it when the delanceys were chasing jack

medda was spectacular too

fancy curtains fell from the rafters to make the theatre set. i thought it was funny how fast they descended

someone laughed obnoxiously loud at medda’s sex jokes

kath choked twice in watch what happens but she played it off and she was really great too!!

i was the first person to start clapping after watch what happens lmao

davey just fuckin TOSSED his hat into the air during seize the day

in seize the day two of the girls were getting piggybacks from other newsies and everyone crowded around them so i though were gonna get like. basket tossed. into the crowd. but no it was just a pose for the picture

the photographer was a woman!!! now i’m thinking about her and kath bonding in their male dominated field :D

crutchie’s arrest was six against one. oof. :(

santa fe started in pink, purple and blue lighting and i was 👀

king of new york was my favourite number but when isn’t it

race is the real star of the show (but i might be partisan ‘cause the guy who played him is a friend of a friend and i’ve seen him in other shows before)

on “pape with my face beaming” everyone looked at the paper and then rolled their head back behind their shoulders??? i don’t know how to describe it but y’all know what i mean right

everyone including kath were all tapping together before any solos!!

the three tap soloists were all great and they went on their toes like pointe together

davey and les got a little tap duet together!!! (actually this might have been where davey threw his hat. i can’t recall)

kath didn’t high kick, she mimed kicking one of the newsies in the face and then mimed punching another

i was also the first person to clap after king of new york

i cried at letter from the refuge but who doesn’t lmao

the set for the theatre included a whole mini platform and jack just rode in on that for the scene before watch what happens reprise

jack RIPPED his santa fe painting off the wall to reveal the pulitzer-stepping-on-newsies-painting. it was emo and i adored it

there was an audible gasp from the crowd at the pulitzer daughter reveal and i was like >:)

spot looked like a frat boy and i hated it. he had and untucked sleeveless flannel like he tried to be a rapper but failed

i was also the first to clap after brooklyn’s here

smalls!!!! my love!!!!

race and spot greeted each other by name and hugged at the rally 👀 👀 👀

kath was watching from the catwalk at the rally and then did the aforementioned moving-scaffolding-walk-across-thing to get to jack’s roof to look at his drawings

kath made the “or is it because i’m a girl” line not cringey! good for her

i actually didn’t mind the jatherine romance in the production. it was well done

spot said all of race’s lines in the scene before once and for all???? is that how it is in the script or am i correct in noting that it’s wrong???

in fact race was entirely missing from that scene

the newsies all clambered through a gap on the bottom of the scaffolding to get to pulitzer’s cellar and it was cute

*EDIT* completely forgot about jack bouncing up and down on pulitzer’s chair while they were negotiating

kath shook her head when roosevelt goes “he doesn’t do happiness does he”

anyways that’s all i remember now but i probably add more in the coming days!! goodnight y’all!

Kim Appreciation Week, day 3: favourite ship

(aka I can’t decide between Kimax and Kimdine and neither can Kim, so just have both)

“So who are you giving the brooch to?” Marinette asked.

“That’s the problem, I don’t know!” Kim stared down at the little heart-shaped box in his hand, the thing that had got him akumatized so long ago. “I just can’t choose between Max and Ondine.”

“You know you don’t have to choose, right?”

“But I do, ‘cause there’s only one brooch! I’m not good at maths but I know you can’t give one brooch to two people.” He sat down beside Marinette, frowning in thought. “I guess Ondine’s more likely to actually wear something like this… but Max is the one who bought this brooch for me in the first place, so it would be really meaningful for him…”

“Why don’t you just buy another brooch and give one to each?” Marinette suggested. Kim’s face lit up for second, but then he sank back into despair again.

“I lost all my pocket money in a dare. And anyway, I wouldn’t know who to give the old one to and who to give the new one.” He turned to face her. “Who do you think I should give it to?”

Half of Marinette’s brain was yelling out Me!!! She quickly pushed that thought aside. “I don’t know. Who do you like more?”

“I have no idea! They’re both so awesome, and cute…” He was staring off into space with a dreamy expression. “Max is super smart, and he always makes me feel better about myself and hangs out with me all the time and I just feel smarter around him… But then Ondine’s super sweet and pretty and knows pretty much all my secrets and I can trust her with anything! Ugh, they’re both perfect! I wish I could just–”

He stopped abruptly. After a few seconds of furious thought he leapt to his feet.

“I have an idea! Wait right here, guard this…”

Putting the brooch box down in front of Marinette, he ran off out of the room. She was hardly surprised at his hyperactivity – she wasn’t surprised by much he did at all these days. Surely whatever idea he came up with would be classic Kim, ridiculous but endearing.

She had not expected him to run back into the room wielding a giant axe, of course.

“Stand back, Mari!” he called, running over to the table swinging the axe around rather dangerously.

“What the – Kim what are you doing?!” She jumped up and scrambled backwards, horrified. Where did that idiot even get an axe from in the first place?!

“I’m gonna chop the brooch in half!” he announced, a deranged smile on his face.

“What? Why?”

“Then I can give half each to Max and Ondine, of course!”

“No – wait –”

It was too late. Marinette watched in disbelief as Kim hacked the poor brooch to pieces. So much for “chopping it in half” – it had shattered almost directly, pieces of jewel flying everywhere. He put the axe down to admire his handiwork, only to see a pile of broken shards on the table in front of him.

“Aw man, maybe that was a bad idea…”

Marinette stepped forwards apprehensively and swept the shards into two distinct piles. “Well, it’s the thought that counts, right? You can still give this half to Max, and this half to Ondine, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.”

He smiled and ruffled her hair. “Thanks, I guess I will. You can have some too if you want, for being so encouraging all the time. Or do you want the axe? You can have that!”

She took the axe, wondering vaguely who it actually belonged to, but knowing that it was certainly safer out of Kim’s grasp. “Thanks. Now go give those brooch shards to Max and Ondine – go go go!”

Kim did not need to be told twice. He scooped the shards into the pockets of his hoodie and ran out of the room.
