City of Progress

Piltover's architecture is heavily based in the art deco style while The Undercity of Zaun has mainly Art Nouveau influences.

So my idea is to make Art Deco frames for Piltover residents & Art Nouveau ones for Zaun Residents. I NEEDED to make Mel first but boy oh boy what an undertaking! There is an insane amount of detail in her character and while I'm please with the results, this did take me a while!

Still not sure if the framing is too busy but I'm really inexperienced with that style in general and I've been looking at this for WAY too long.

Tell me if you guys think it's too much okay? I still have time to make changes before I get this out to print!

Last song: Super scription of data by Eiko Shimamiya. Using all my force of will, I am not giving you a Higurashi Rei infodump. But only because you're about to get my unsolicited review of Arcane.

Currently Watching: Arcane, kinda? I've been watching every week with a friend who is a League fan. Tbh after three years of being a bitch and refusing to watch it because I dislike League I am a little disappointed, I expected more from the hype. Shocked that I am really not a CaitVi guy because Vi deserves better than the most boring damn character in the show. Cait and Jayce both have a way of eating up time that could go to more compelling characters. I find Mel and Viktor so much more fascinating than Jayce and he is only tolerable because he's better at facilitating the stories of more interesting characters than Cait is. Anyway I voiced my feelings about the rumored CaitVi romance to my friend and he was like "I think Vi deserves better, but if this is what makes her happy..." We're her parents barely tolerating the new girlfriend.

Currently Reading: The Ten Thousand Deaths of Ardor Benn by Tyler Whitesides. Reasonably good so far, so I'm hopeful. Really need shitty conman protagonists in my life (recently finished She Who Became the Sun- yes those murders were very girlboss gender neutral).

Current Obsession: I played Kingmaker for twelve hours yesterday. I am in the trenches. I have. So much art that needs finishing. And starting. Lot of Vio in there. But this is just generally a waxing phase of the years long obsession. Aside from that, I'm enjoying Limbus Company! Happy Yi Sang part two day to me.

Because it's been two(?) days and I'm going out in a bit I will not be tagging anyone (sorry!) because I just know if I spend the time tracing the network of who has been tagged and who hasn't this won't be posted for like a week. Also like, I don't think I have nine people at the best of times.
