clandestine meetings
Alexia putellas x williamson reader!!
It was late afternoon, probably around 5 p.m., and the sun was setting. It was October, the fall season. The air smelled like leaves, almost like pumpkin. I was so focused on people walking down from the rooftop that I didn't notice someone joining me.
I didn't have to turn to see who it was since I knew who it was right away. Just by her hair, her height, and the vibes she radiates. I couldn't be wrong, I knew it was her. Memorising those small details about her makes me hate her because I can't seem to get over her.
She moved closer to me, leaving a small distance between us. She took out a cigarette, lit it, and went on about her business while I was at a loss for what to do beside her. I don't think starting a conversation with her would help either, so I just stood quietly, admiring the view and watching the sun set as the wind blew through my hair.
There's something about that comfortable silence. We didn't have to say anything to one other or anything like that. Or, if we did talk. We didn't have to worry about running out of topics or being awkward since simply being with her in silence is plenty; her presence is enough. Being together felt like home; it made us feel complete.
Leaning over the rail, I turned my head to check on her, and she was as lovely as ever. She was always beautiful. She was the first person who caught my attention when I moved to Barcelona. I've kept an eye on her ever since.
She continued smoking and admiring the view, while I got lost staring at her. She sighed and smiled, "You know I can see you staring, right?" she asked, turning to face me.
I couldn't think of anything to say so I just chuckled and shrugged it off.
She turned to face me, tossed her cigarette in the trash can, and moved closer to me.
"Why did you stop smoking?" I asked as she approached me.
"I don't want you to smell like smoke, plus i don't think you like it when people smoke near you" she went on to say
"That's very thoughtful of you, ale," I comment, laughing at her.
She was taken aback for a moment because she had never heard me call her by her nickname. It was my first time addressing her as such. I usually refer to her as "alexia" or "cap"
She paused for a bit before clearing her throat, "Is your sister okay?"
she said, seeming nervous
She seems to have gathered up enough courage to ask that question. Leah and Alexia weren't on the best of terms, so hearing her ask this makes my heart melt.
"She'll be fine; I'll be back home once the breaks come," I reassured her.
"I know she was against you going to Barcelona," she said as she drew closer to me than she had ever been.
"Um, yeah. She was," I answered nervously, hoping to keep it hidden because she was closer than ever right now.
"I'm pretty sure you know why she didn't want you to come here, right?" she asked, with a slight smirk on her face. She was clearly having a good time.
"Of course," I answer, trying to cover up my nervousness. Having her so near to me makes my knees shaky, like jello. Her stares make my knees wobble.
"She didn't want me coming here because she'll be alone, and we've never been separated this long, it'll be new to her, to me as well," I reply, looking wherever I can to avoid facing her because I know it'll be a dead end for me if I do.
"Come on, that's not all of it, isn't it?" she nudged me
"I'm not blind, I know the main reason why williamson doesn't want you to come here is because of me" she said with that annoying smirk on her face that I desperately wanted to erase
I just nodded and tucked my lips because she got it right
"What does she say about me? I bet she told you I was bad influence" she said and laughed
“You should surely take your older sister's advice, don't you think?"
"Like the good girl you are," she said, smirking.
We fell silent and let the breeze wash over us.
She drew nearer as I walked toward the doorway, placing both of her arms on either side of the rail to enclose me.
"Do you think I'm a bad influence? Do you agree with your sister?"
I look at her and see her eyes piercing at me, green with a tint of brown, she looked breathtaking. I felt like I could drown in her eyes.
"I don't think you are," I responded, swallowing hard.
"I'm your sister's rival, and yet you still stick with me?"
"I don't think you'd like it if I ignored you, though," I muttered, glancing down because just looking at her makes me want to pass out.
She tilted her head in such a way that it gave me butterflies. Lord, when will this end?
"Why so?" she inquired, completely teasing me.
"Would you like me to ignore you for the entire season, ale?" I said back.
She pouted at me, seeming to think about what she was about to say.
"Hmm, no. It would make me sad," she teased, smiling.
"Sad, why?" I inquired, still smiling.
"Because if I were to ignore you, that would make your sister feel relieved that I'm not circling you. I want her to be mad at me and for her to feel annoyed because it makes me happy." She grinned and moved closer to me.
"You're really messed up in the head, ale," I joke, pushing more against the rail because if I don't, you know what would happen.
"I want her to be annoyed, I want her to be angry at me, I want her to feel all the emotions," she said as she locked her gaze on mine. Her eyes seemed to want to express more, as if there was more to what she said.
"Which is why i won't be leaving you"
She whispered and stared at me for what seemed like hours. She was just staring at me, as if she was trying to memorise my face. I felt very vulnerable.
"Is that the only reason you don't want me to ignore you?" I asked, leaning closer to accept her challenge.
"Do you think there's something more?" she replied, edging closer to me until our faces were almost touching.
"I know there is"
I'm so sorry for leaving u w a cliffhanger 😭😭 i promise you there is a part 2! THERE WILL BE A PART 2 👹👹

You didn’t have to send the letter. But you did. Sort of. You left in her cubby for her to see after practice. It was the last day before your first match back. It was the last match of the domestic league and you had been promised at least the final 10 minutes. Was it the best timing for something of that magnitude? Probably not. But you needed her to know how you felt before the summer breaks began, and she went off the Olympics.
You hadn’t been ignoring Ona like you were at the beginning of the season, but you weren’t friends either. You still remained in your separate friend groups, but you didn’t avoid her like the plague, and she had gradually left her little corner of the gym during sessions. You were still in love with her. That much was definite – you often stared at her during matches, allowing yourself to reminisce over your memories. But you wanted to do it properly, with full communication and honest answers. You decided that the letter was an olive branch; she could do with it as she pleased.
She could ignore it. That would hurt, but you would endure it.
She could acknowledge but reject you. That would be painful but survivable.
She could accept it. That thought made your heart happy.
Since That Day with Lucy and the time away to repair yourself, everyone could see how much better you were doing. You were laughing again, smiling brightly as Patri joked around, giggling at Pina for tripping over the cones, chatting softly to Esmee or chasing after Mapi as Ingrid shook her head. Lucy was happy that the bubbly girl she considered a little sister was returning.
That Day, she had taken you to her house and laid you in bed. You were exhausted – mentally, emotionally, physically – and so fragile. She couldn’t remember a time when she had seen you so small. She had called Keira; she was frightened by your outburst, disturbed by what you had told her and saddened to think you thought you couldn’t talk to her. Keira had done an excellent job in calming her - promising it wasn’t her fault and that she was there for you now, and that’s all that mattered. The pair had set up the guest bedroom for you to stay in as you got ready to go back to England. They had given the heads up to the Lionesses that you would be coming home for a while – Leah got the full story, but everyone was told that you weren’t doing ok and needed more support than they could give you at Barcelona.
Ona was also taking the months to heal. She was talking to a therapist that helped her regulate her emotions, particularly when she was scared. You could see the change. It was nothing drastic, nothing too noticeable, but you knew. She was working on herself, and that was all that you wanted. You still watched all of her games for Spain. You had promised her you would always support her, and you always would. You hadn’t watched the matches in person, but they were always on your TV – sometimes favouring watching her matches over the Lionesses.
“Ugh, I don’t want to go,” Ona complained as you packed her suitcase for her. She was lying on your bed with just a big T-shirt on. It was one of your old England training tops.
“Because of what happened last time?” You knew bringing it up was a risk, but you couldn’t help yourself. You wanted to protect her from everything bad in the world.
“I mean, yes, there’s that, but …” She looked a little embarrassed as she turned her head away from you. You reached over and gently grabbed her chin, forcing her to look you in the eye.
“But?” You raised an eyebrow.
“Te voy a extrañar.” You heart softened at her confession.
“Oni,” you cooed as you flopped on top of her. I’m going to miss you too—so much. But I will still be supporting you. I promise.” You littered kisses over her face, ignoring her squeals and laughter telling you to get off
“You’re playing on the 7th, right?” You breathed into her ear as you gently bit her earlobe
“Sí” She all but moaned out.
“Well, my match is on the 6th,” you drifted over to the other side of her neck. “So, I will be watching your game; I’ll always watch your games. Forever and ever.” You drifted down her body, pushing her t-shirt up as you went.
“Si us plau, fot-me,” she begged.
“I don’t speak Catalan, Oni.” You reminded her as you tugged off her shirt.
80 minutes into the last game of the season, your number flashed green on the screen held up by the 4th Official. This was it. All your hard work had finally paid off. Marta ran over to you and smacked your awaiting hands, using them to pull you into a brief hug. “Vamos, chica,” She whispered in your ear. You ran onto the pitch as the crowd clapped and cheered for you. You looked to where you knew some of the Lionesses sat; they had made the trip over to Spain to watch your debut. You knew it was in your mind, but you would swear on your life that their cheers were the loudest. This was your happy place, finally back on the pitch. You felt the final pieces of tension melt away. You were finally home. All the emotions of the past 18 months were forgotten. The heartbreak, heartache, anger, fear, and frustration were all gone in a moment as the ball fell to your feet. You always felt the most at peace on the pitch.
“Ok, listen up.” It was media day for United, something you had mixed feelings over. You always liked the video side of media day, but you hated the photos – you always felt so awkward doing them. “On videos, we have Toone and Russo, and Blundell and Galton. On photos, we have Ladd, Zelem, and Parris. On interviews, we have Turner and Williams, Batlle and Y/S/N …” You stopped listening. Thank god you didn’t have to do photos straight away. And you were with Oni – sure, it would fuel the flame about whatever you were for the fans. But you were with Oni.
“Vamos, amor. We’ve got an interview to do.” Ona tangled her fingers with yours and pulled you over to the interview station.
“It’s pretty simple, introduce yourself, then just read the cards and answer them. We’re already rolling, so just start whenever you’re ready.” A man said from behind the camera. You looked at Ona for confirmation before introducing yourself. It was simple. The questions were nothing you hadn’t seen or answered before.
“Ok, amor, what is your happy place?” Ona read from the card.
“Hmm … lemme think ... um, is it cliché to say the football pitch?” You laughed, looking at Ona as she rested her head on your shoulder, groaning at your answer. “What? It is. It’s always been the place that calms me down. I don’t really get nervous on the pitch either, even for important games. Beforehand, I’ll be absolutely bricking it, but on the pitch … cool as a cucumber.”
“Bricking … it?” Your phrasing confused her. You always forget that she was speaking her non-native language; she was so fluent in English now.
“Oh, um … nervous, I guess? Oni, you know how I get before games, especially the big ones, but I'm absolutely fine once that whistle goes.”
“I do know how nervous you get. Do you remember our game at the Arnold Clark Cup? You were so nervous. Leah had to come get me before the match.” She smiled teasingly at you.
“Stop,” you whined. You said you’d take that to the grave.” You didn’t like people knowing how panicky you could get. You also didn't particularly want to spill how Ona had gotten you to calm down —she had kissed you—long and hard and deep. It had calmed you down instantly.
They say that history repeats itself, and you think they might be onto something. Your team was finishing the domestic season in typical Barca fashion. You were 8-0 up with 10 minutes still to play. You set a pass to Lucy as you began to push forward. It was a perfect cross back from Ona as you entered the penalty area. You controlled it with your chest to the ground. You swung your leg back. This time, there was no clash of studs. No horrific pain. No blood. This time, you released the ball into the back of the net.
You didn’t care what you looked like as you ran around like a headless chicken. You may have looked silly celebrating this hard for the ninth goal of the game, but you didn’t care. You were back. You leapt onto Ona, legs wrapping around her waist as her arms came to support you under your thighs.
“Estás de Vuelta, amor,” she shouted. With that response alone, you knew she had read the letter.
“I’m back, Oni,” you laughed as she put you down and straight into the arms of Lucy and the rest of the team.
The match ended 9-0. The match had been won long before that, but everyone assured you you got the winner. Medals were handed out as you cheered with the rest of the squad, music blasted, and shouts were heard from all around. You didn’t bother looking for your parents; you knew they weren’t there. But you did see the smiling faces of Alessia, Ella and Leah, with Mary and Georgia on Facetime. After promises to find them later you found a relatively quiet corner in the tunnel and allowed yourself to fully process your feelings. Elation. Happiness. Love. Everything was so different compared to this time last year.
Someone cleared their throat, drawing your attention to them. It was Ona. “Um … can we talk?”
“Yeh, yeh. Do you want to sit?” You gestured to the floor against the wall. You both got comfortable and sat for a few heartbeats.
“Felicidades … your goal, it was beautiful.” She was clearly a little awkward.
“Oni, the letter –” you started
“I’m sorry. I’m so, so, so sorry for what I did to you. I was looking for a fight. I was terrified you’d leave me behind. And I was jealous Barca wanted you. There will never be a day where I don’t regret what I did to you, and I hate myself for it. For hurting you so badly. You didn’t deserve any of what happened. I was a raging bitch, and I was so awful to you, and -” She gushed out.
“Oni, stop,” you said gently. "It’s ok. I forgive you. You need to start forgiving yourself, too.” You rested your head on her shoulder. You did forgive her. She had done a horrible thing, but she wasn’t a horrible person. She leaned her head on top of yours, enjoying the closeness she had craved for so long.
“Did you mean it?” she said after a long pause. Her voice was fearful that you might reject her—which was perfectly within your rights, she reminded herself. “That you’re still in love with me?”
“Yes. I am still absolutely head-over-heels in love with you. I never stopped," you answered honestly. "But if we are to try again, we’re going to need to be friends first. So, I’m reintroducing myself to you.” You stuck out your hand. “Hola, I’m Y/N," you repeated the words you said to her so long ago back in Manchester when you first met.
“Hola, soy Ona.” She laughed as she shook your hand, letting it linger for longer than she should have. Her hand was warm, rough, soft, and perfect.
"Got any nicknames?" Her lips split into that beautiful wide grin. Your smile matched hers.
“Um, hola.” You said as you stood in front of her cubby.
“Hola?” She was sceptical of you. Not many people had made an effort to talk to her, let alone talk to her in Spanish. It was the end of her third day at United, and she was homesick and terrified about whether she had done the right thing.
“So, I overheard you in the lunchroom earlier about Spanish food being so different from English food, and I was going to make paella for my tea tonight anyways, so I was wondering if you wanted to come round? I can’t promise it will be any good; the recipe I’m supposed to be following says it's ‘Spanish Rice’, not even paella, but … yeh.” God, you were so awkward; you hadn’t even let her answer the question. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to. You probably have plans. So … anyways … I’m gonna now,” you went to turn around before her fingers caught your wrist.
“You didn’t let me answer” She smiled. Your heart fluttered in a strange way. Were you having a heart attack because a pretty girl smiled at you?
“What is tea? I thought it was a drink.” She asked. Oh, god – that voice. You thought you had died and gone to heaven.
“Tea? … oh, yeh. Sorry, I forgot I’m northern,” you laughed. “It’s how you say dinner if you’re northern. Um, I think it’s ‘cena’ in Spanish?”
“Ah, sí, sí. Yes, I shall come for tea.” She giggled. You knew you had just fallen in love right then and there.
Ona was slightly nervous as she knocked on your flat door. A pretty girl had asked her to come round. She wasn’t used to this; she was usually confident, always knowing who and what she wanted. But you had surprised her with your gentle smile, quick ramblings, and soft laugh; you had stolen her heart and didn’t even know it.
“Hey, sorry to leave you hanging.” You said as you answered the door. Your expression confused her, but she ignored it as you ushered her into your flat. It was exactly how she expected, a perfect physical representation of you. She never wanted to leave.
“Ok, so I’ve already cooked it, so it’s ready when you are, really. I don’t particularly like seafood, so it’s chicken and chorizo. I know that Barcelona is famous for its seafood. And there are peppers and peas in there, too. I hope that’s okay,” you said as you gestured for her to sit at the table.
“Sounds deliciosa,” she commented, looking around. Your flat was clean, neat, and tidy, but not to the point that it looked like no one lived there. You had a lot of pictures of friends dotted around, but it didn’t seem like many of your family. You clearly took pride in your home. Ona could respect that. She always thought that you could tell a lot about someone based on how they decorate and treat a space.
“Here you go,” you said as you handed her a bowl of steaming rice. “So … this might come across as rude or something, and I really don’t want that, but … um, how do I ask this? How, um … howdoyousayyourname?” You said it so quickly it was a blur. Ona clearly didn’t understand you.
“Qué?”
“Um … how do you say your last name?” You asked sheepishly. “I want to get it right. It’s important to me that I say people’s names right,” you explained. Her heart melted at your kind gesture.
“Oh, um, it’s like bat-jyay.”
“Batlle,” you said slowly. “Batlle,” you said quicker, reassurance in her accompanying smile.
“Cool … now that that’s out of the way, do you have any nicknames or anything?” It was clear to Ona that you were trying to get her to feel more comfortable around you.
“Um … not really. It’s common in Spain to add 'ita' at the end of words, so sometimes Onita? Or Oni, I guess?”
“Oni, I like it.” The nickname rolled off your tongue so effortlessly that Ona swooned.
“What about you, any nicknames?”
“Oh, no, not really. I mean beyond the standard English love, or darling, or pet, or duck or anything really,” you laughed.
“Well, I won’t call you love. But I will call your amor, sí?” Your heart was doing backflips as you looked down at the table, hiding your blush.
The summer that followed was unforgettable. You hadn’t had a summer off since … you couldn’t remember when. You and Ona had used the few weeks before she left for camp to reacquaint yourself. There were lots of laughs shared over coffees and slightly too-long hugs. It was easy to fall back in love with her and rediscover your dynamic.
You didn’t go to Paris, no matter how much you wanted to see her. You watched every game, though, sending her a steady stream of your consciousness through text. You knew she couldn’t see them when she was playing, but you wanted her to know you supported her like you had promised to do all those years ago. Ona adored the fact that she would look at her phone after the match to hundreds of messages, reading every one as she chuckled at your play-by-play.
She didn’t attend preseason, but you did, obviously. You used the time to add the final touches to your new style of play. You were ready to prove to the world that you were back and better than ever. You had seen some comments on social media speculating about your return. But you knew you were ready. When Ona returned, you lingered behind the group who swarmed the Olympians. She had quickly extricated herself and came to join you. “Congratulations, Oni. I’m very proud of you,” You said as you hugged her tightly, dropping a series of light kisses on her head.
The final Friday before the season officially started was full of drinks and laughter. You had one final blowout before settling in for the next season, and naturally, you ended up at Manuela’s.
“You did good, kid,” Lucy said as she wrapped an arm around your shoulders. You were at the bar, sipping on a fruity drink.
“Thanks, Luce. For everything. I know I didn’t exactly make it easy on you, but …”
“Hey, no, don’t do that. You were in a bad place. I didn’t do it because I needed to; I did it because I wanted to. You’re like my little sister. I love you more than I love my actual little sister.” She promised you.
“I know, but still. Thank you. I appreciate you, truly.” You rested your head against her shoulder as she squeezed you gently.
“Y/N,” Someone called for your attention. It was an incredibly drunk Patri. “Ven a bailar, chica.” You made your way over to the group; almost everyone was incredibly drunk; even Alexia had the tell-tale flush on her cheeks, but that could have been more to do with Olga dancing in front of her than the alcohol. The only people that you think weren’t drunk were you and Ona.
“You’re not drinking?” You asked as she came to stand next to you.
“Not really, don’t want to be hungover tomorrow,” she answered. “What about you?”
“Same. This is probably the only drink I’ll have.” Your therapist had advised you to stay away from drinking as much as possible, telling you that it could affect you in negative ways. You didn’t really mind; you liked being able to remember everyone’s drunk antics. It was useful for blackmail purposes, and at least one other person remained sober during nights out anyway.
You spent the night splitting yourself between the dancefloor with Patri and Pina, the booth with Ingrid and Mapi, or the table Marta and Caroline had claimed. It was fun, but you forgot how hot Barcelona nights out could be, even in the late summer, when the temperature rarely dipped below mid-teens. It was hot and loud, and sweaty. To escape, you pushed your way outside, taking deep breaths of the fresh night air.
“Esta todo bien, amor?” It was Ona.
“Always so concerned, Oni.” You laughed.
“Lo siento. It’s just, I saw you leave … and I wanted to check on you and …” She was starting to panic, thinking she was overstepping a boundary.
“Hey, Oni. It’s ok. I like that you're so concerned about me.” You reached for her hand, holding it tightly to reassure her. “I keep forgetting how hot Barcelona can be,” you explained. "I’m still not used to it.” She laughed lightly.
“You’ll have to get used to it. I don’t want you to leave Barcelona” she trailed off, “because of the weather” she added quickly.
“I don’t want to leave Barcelona either … especially because of the weather,” you teased.
“Callate,” She groaned as you tugged her closer, arm going around her shoulder as hers came around your waist. “I like your outfit.” She murmured as she played with the lace on the bottom of your bralette. “It’s the same one you wore in Manchester the first time we…” she whispered, trailing off again. You knew exactly what she was referring to.
“Do you want to go dance?” You asked after a few minutes of soaking up her closeness.
“Sí, vamos.” She led you back to the dancefloor, her back coming against your front as you held her close. It felt like the most normal thing to press your body closer. It felt right as she turned around to face you, her arms looping around your neck. It felt normal as your eyes flicked from hers to her lips and back again. The way your heart pounded felt nice when she stepped even closer, somehow managing to pull herself even more against you. Like always, the way the world slid sideways as your lips pressed against hers. It felt like the most natural thing in the world.
“Vull això. ens vull. Si us plau, porta'm a casa.”
“I still don’t speak Catalan, Oni.”
Yeh, so that's the end of the proper story, but I want to do an epilogue/final chapter thing about cute moments between R and Ona and stuff. So, yeh. I hope you enjoyed it.

Hi guys ♥
We come to the end of this series that I really enjoyed writing. I hope you had as much fun reading it as I did and I thank again all those who took the time to comment or like the different chapters.
It was a big work and I'm kind of sad that it ends to be honest, but I think it's better to finish it this way :)
Enjoy ♥
TW : Kidnapping, hurt, angst, fear.
PART 1 I PART 2 I PART 3 I PART 4 I PART 5 I PART 6
______________________________________________________________
Your rehabilitation is going well, even if you find that the time is long to be completely honest. After four weeks you had the right to have your cast removed to make you put a splint, which has already helped you move a little better by yourself. After that you were able to start a rehabilitation, allowing you to quickly find the pitch. You miss playing football terribly and you don't know how you will do when you have to retire permanently. But you’d rather not think about it for now, focusing on the idea of playing again as soon as possible.
To pass the time during your rehabilitation, you started painting more than before. You are not tired enough to go to sleep after your workouts so you get tired using your concentration otherwise. You paint a bit of everything, without it being very precise. Landscapes, objects, memories of your childhood… You paint a bit of everything that goes through your head.
Leah likes to come and join you in your studio, apparently finding yourself with your long white shirt and painted hands particularly attractive. You’re not complaining, of course. You wouldn’t know why you feared Leah’s eyes on your painting until you really let her into your studio. Maybe because she knows a little about the subject and because what you paint is something you consider intimate. You never really let anyone see what you were painting. But again, Leah is different.
********
You come back from training, which you were able to participate in for the first time since your injury. Your leg is back as muscular as before and you managed to recover to play the last games of the season, including a very important England Cup final for the club.
You’re also at the same point with Chelsea to win the championship, which also means a lot to Arsenal. And for Leah, coming back on a double win would be something exceptional for her. And you hope that you and the team will be able to offer this to all of you. Your teammates are relieved to have you back and you are happy to be able to help them too. It's not yet a question of you going back to a game entirely from the beginning, but playing the joker of the second half suits you perfectly for the moment.
So you’re back from practice, lying on the couch in your living room watching Love Island. Alessia isn't with you tonight, stating that she intended to offer herself a good hot bath, certainly with a multitude of bath salt and candles.
You and Leah managed to sit on the couch, lying next to each other after dinner. Leah seems to be captivated by the screen but you are not really. Your gaze must weigh on her at least a minimum since she ends up turning her eyes on your face.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" the blonde wonders.
"For nothing" you mumble by biting your lower lip.
Your fingers gently push back a lock of her blonde hair behind her ear. This isn't really the truth, since you have an idea that has been in your head for some time and you don't know how to propose it to Leah. Your lie doesn’t work at all about Leah arching an eyebrow.
"Since when you try to lie to me?"
You laugh slowly, letting your fingers slide over her jaw. You may have seen her daily for months, but you doubt that you will ever tire of the perfection of her facial features. You hit her gently on the nose when she pretends to bite you though.
"If I offer you something and you find it too strange, you agree to act like you didn’t hear anything?"
Your question seems to surprise Leah, whose attention you now have. Her curious gaze scrutinizes you attentively.
"Is it something sexual?" she grins.
"No, you horny teenager boy" you laugh
"What is it then?"
You feel the curiosity in her voice too and you briefly wonder what she can think of before answering her. But when you open your mouth to offer her what you have in mind, you abruptly reverse.
"No nothing, forget it. It’s a bad idea"
You feel a little blushed and you hope that Leah will accept what you just said. But you also know perfectly well that it won’t.
"But tell me!" exclaims the blonde rising suddenly, almost throwing you on the ground.
"Leah!" you laugh-shout when you catch up to her size to stay on the couch.
"What is it? Tell me!"
To support her request, Leah sits on your stomach, thus preventing you from moving if ever the idea came to you to run away in the kitchen. And you have to admit that it came to mind for a few seconds.
"No" you answer smiling and shaking your head.
"You leave me no choice."
With an evil smile, Leah starts tickling your ribs, causing your uncontrollable laughter. You try to escape, but between her muscular strength and the loss of yours through laughter, you end up accepting the idea that you have no chance to escape.
"All right, all right! I’ll tell you."
Satisfied, Leah immediately stops her torture session and patiently waits for you to catch your breath to be able to answer her.
"I was wondering if you would accept that I make a portrait of you"
You see curiosity give way to surprise, then reflection on Leah’s face. You don’t do much portrait to be completely honest, you once made a replica of a wedding photo of your parents for their twentieth wedding anniversary and that’s it.
And a Raven portrait, but you’re not sure that matters.
"You want to paint me?" wonders Leah
"Only if you fully agree with that. You have the right to say it’s weird"
"I don’t think it’s weird"
Leah smiles at you and you immediately know that she means what she’s saying to you. She’s still sitting on your belly and you’re gently sliding your fingers down her legs, mechanically reshaping the scar from her surgery last year.
"Like a Titanic painting?"
"I imagined it with a little more clothes to be honest" you laugh softly. "But sincerely, how you feel most comfortable"
"That would be amazing" ended up answering Leah after a few seconds of reflection.
You smile at her and pull her against you, kissing her lips. When the pretty blonde lies on top of you and you turn your attention to the TV screen, you are in truth once again not focused at all on what is happening there. Your mind is already thinking about the canvas you are going to make and what you want to bring out on it.
********
When you can finally play an entire football game, Leah’s portrait is almost complete. What started out being a little intimidating quickly became a special moment between you. You feared at first that the way you represented her would not suit her. However, you have pushed this fear into a corner of your head since you will not allow Leah to see the canvas until it's finished. Despite her self-confidence, Leah seemed almost shy to you at first. It must be said that the look you put on her in those moments is different from the stolen looks you give her when you watch television, or when you admire her sleeping when you wake up before her.
But you have an excuse to admire her as much as you want now and you never get tired of it. The truth is, you’re almost disappointed that this is over. You loved spending hours looking for the perfect color mix for her eye or hair color. And having her with you in your painting studio also makes you happy.
Over time, Leah has become familiar with your lair and seems to enjoy spending time there too. When you tell her that you no longer need her and that she can go do something else, she often comes back to you with other things to do. To make her feel more comfortable than a simple chair, you bought an extra sofa despite Leah’s protests that it’s frankly not necessary.
The following Tuesday, after training, Leah goes to spend time with her family. Well, Amanda asked you to be here too, but you still want Leah to spend time alone with her family. So you go from time to time, but today Leah goes alone directly after training.
"I’m gonna miss you" says Leah, hugging you.
You may be exaggerating your goodbyes, but you don’t care. You enjoy your embrace, Leah’s arms around your waist while yours are around her neck. Just like you enjoy her kisses on your cheek, on your jaw and in your neck.
"I’m going to miss you too" you smile as you take her face in both hands to put a kiss on her lips.
"Oh God" whines Katie joining you at the exit "You will see you again in maximum four hours, don’t you think you’re a little too much?"
"Five if I beat them all" Leah smiled mischievously as she picked you up again, kissing you in the hollow of your neck.
You laugh when you hear Katie sigh desperately, then turn around when you hear the building door open again, probably in search of some moral support.
"Caitlin comes kiss your girlfriend to get her off my back, please" Leah says when she sees the Australian coming with Kyra and Steph.
"I’m not as needy as you are" Katie snorts
You see Caitlin rolling her eyes but approaching Katie who discreetly passes an arm around her waist to train her to her car. When you see Alessia finally arrive, you know that you will not be able to postpone your little separation very longer.
"Write to me when you arrive?" You ask Leah despite the fact that she does it every time.
"Sure" smiled Leah.
After a few kisses exchanged (Alessia must practically tear you from Leah’s arms), you find yourself in the Mercedes of the blonde in the direction of your building.
The ride is full of discussion, laughter and songs. With Less' promise of homemade pizzas, you know you’re going to have a great night. Lia is supposed to join you a little later to spend the evening with you, just like Manu.
"Shit, I left my phone in your car. Sorry, can I have your keys please?" you sigh when you come out of the garage.
If Leah had been with you you wouldn’t have cared, but this time it’s different. You take back the keys of Alessia’s car in the hands with an excuse smile and you go back quickly. After retrieving your phone, you return to the elevators and press the button on your floor by sending a message to Leah informing her that you have arrived home.
You take the time to put your bag in your apartment and grab a bottle of water in your fridge. You are filling the bowl with Raven’s croquettes when you hear the characteristic sound of something crashing into Alessia’s apartment, making you roll your eyes. This is clearly not the first time and probably the last.
"I don’t know if we’ll ever meet someone as clumsy as Auntie Less" you tell Raven.
The latter throws a reproach glance over her meal, without taking care to stop eating.
"I never said it took away her qualities" you answer by raising both hands in the air.
After two or three caresses, you get up to join Alessia in her apartment and probably help her to clean what has fallen. You just hope it’s not the jar of flour or tomato sauce she uses to make her pizzas.
"You alright Less?" you ask when entering your friend’s apartment.
But you freeze suddenly. It’s not Alessia who is in front of you, where she should be. It's not Alessia who is in the middle of the glass bricks of a mozzarella jar that
And it’s not Alessia looking at you with a dark smile, arms crossed over her chest.
It's Helena.
Your brain makes a short circuit for a few seconds, during which you watch her without moving. You don’t know what she’s doing here, how she found you and how she got into Alessia’s apartment. And what scares you even more is knowing exactly where Alessia is. That’s finally the first thing you can say. You know what she’s capable of, and that terrorizes you.
"Where’s Alessia?" you ask her, with your chaotic breathing
"After all these years without seeing me that’s all you have to say to me?" laughs coldly Helena.
You suppress a chill. Her bad and cold laugh reminds you of very bad memories, but you try not to let yourself be dragged there for the moment. You focus on the present and therefore on the health of one of the people who matters most to you right now.
"Where is Alessia?" you repeat, in a slightly louder voice.
"Don’t worry about her, she’s fine"
Her tone and voice are filled with disdain. When she starts to move, moving around the apartment looking around her, you feel like electric currents running through your body. Nothing to do with what Leah gives you, though.
Leah.
Finally, it’s a good thing the blonde is with her family right now. You don’t know what Helena wants from you, but it’s out of the question that your girlfriend crosses paths with your ex’s. The idea that Alessia had to do it makes you nauseous.
"So this is where you live now?"
You don’t answer anything, just watching her like milk on the fire. You know very well that when she seems calm, this is where she's the most dangerous. When she realizes that you will not answer her, Helena turns to you with an amused look.
"It’s true that you were much less talkative at the end of our relationship. I forgot"
"What do you want, Helena?" you ask coldly.
"Watch your tone, pretty girl" tsked Helena looking at you.
Unlike the last time you saw her, you supported her gaze when she stuck it in yours. It seemed to surprise her. But time passed and you grew and evolved. You changed, just like her. Her face is thinner and slender, purple circles give her two eyes steel color an impression of disturbing grandeur. She's still pretty tho, but has definitly nothing attractive to you.
"What do you want?" you say again.
Helena comes to position herself in front of you and even if your mind begs you to run away, you don't move. Not until I know what’s going on and especially what she did to Alessia.
"You? You didn’t come back to see if I lived in the same place for nothing, did you?"
You feel your stomach fall from several floors. You don't understand how she saw you, you were perfectly hidden that morning. She couldn’t see you from her house, let alone from the window where you saw her. Your face must be talking since Helena is laughing.
"Next time you come spying on me, do it wisely. The neighbor saw you hiding behind his car. He almost called the cops."
Helena laughs again and gets closer to you. You’re only a few inches apart now.
"Did you miss me?" she asks you with a mischievous smile.
"Not for a fucking second" you answer coldly.
Her smile fades as quickly as you slapped her and you see her look change. Seeing her so surprised is so surprising to you that you let your guard down. It doesn’t take more than that for Helena to jump at the chance, grabbing Alessia’s rolling pin to crush her with all her might on your skull, knocking you out instantly.
********
Your skull hurts when you try to open your eyes. You realize you’re lying on a cold floor and it’s dark. Your eyes need a few seconds to get used to the ambient darkness. Your hands are immobilized in your back, preventing you from helping you get up in the small room you are in. You quickly realize that it must be a small cellar somewhere. In front of you, Helena looks at you attentively, your phone in her hand.
"Drop it" you mumble as you roll on your back before sitting up.
"She’s pretty stubborn" Helena replies, ignoring you completely.
She turns your phone screen in your direction and you can see Leah’s ID. She’s trying to call you. If your gaze lingers for a few seconds on the photo you chose for her contact, you also manage to see the time it is. And it’s been at least five hours since you left her from the training ground. Lia and Manu are supposed to have arrived at your home as well and you sincerely hope that they were able to help Alessia.
When your screen turns black again, Helena gently rests it on the ground and puts her attention back on you.
"You continue to be a constant problem for me, it’s painful."
You don’t answer at that either. Not out of fear as was previously the case, but because you learned that ignorance is the best contempt. You don’t want to give Helena any more hold on you.
"Looks like you’ve made some friends. How all those people can be interested in someone like you?" laughs Helena, and this time you can’t support her gaze.
That’s kind of the question you constantly ask yourself in the background and probably where most of your insecurities come from. How can people care about you? Why did Ingrid choose to put herself in danger and get you out of that cursed house? Why did Laia and Leila automatically take you under their wing in Manchester? Why does Alessia also consider you a sister? Why do Manu, Lia, Katie, Kyra, Caitlin consider you a friend today?
By what miracle does Leah seem to be in love with you, too?
"You’re nothing and mean nothing. It was time I came to remind you, I think."
You answer nothing, your eyes stubbornly fixed on the ground at your feet, jay tightens. Your silence and lack of reaction seem to begin to annoy Helena.
"Look at me when I talk to you" spits Helena.
You hate to obey so quickly, but you automatically raise your gaze on her. But it allows you to realize that the mask of coldness that she used to keep is now cracked. She realizes that she no longer has the control as before and that gives you a little courage.
"You are mine. You belong to me."
The words she says are somewhat similar to those Leah can utter in your most intimate moments, but the intent behind it is completely different. Where there is only evil in Helena, behind those of Leah there is only love, devotion and admiration. Even if you don’t understand how and why you’re lucky enough to have a girl like Leah in your life, you realize right now that what Helena is telling you is wrong.
You have people who love and appreciate you. People who believe in you.
"And you know you won’t love anyone else as you love me"
Helena tries a poker game, but it only triggers a scornful laugh from you.
"I don’t even have enough interest in you to hate you anymore" you answer coldly.
The sound of the slap she gives you echoes in the little room. You should have expected it. The skin of your cheek burns after its blow and you know that she put all her strength into it.
"No one will be interested in you for ever as I will and you know it. Look! Even your precious girlfriend stopped trying to call you"
Helena grabs your phone and throws it in your direction. It comes straight to your head before it ricochets off your head and falls to the ground. You see the number of missed calls from Leah, but you find that it’s indeed been long minutes since she tried to contact you. You also received other calls from people you can’t see and the usual whatsapp notifications and different social networks you’re on. The only difference from usual is Lia’s missed calls.
"You didn’t listen to anything I told you. You keep strutting around on the football fields and chasing your stupid ball. You are ridiculous."
A new slap sounds in the room and you close your eyes under the impact. You pretty sure you will have bruises. You’re trying to get back on your feet, hoping that your muscles that are more developed than before will allow you to do better than all these years ago. Where you spent hours at the gym, Helena seems to have spent them lying on her bed using illegal substances.
But your attempt is quickly spotted by Helena, who doesn't hesitate to return you to the ground with a well placed kick. You crash violently against the ground, the pain leaving you groggy for a few seconds.
A loud sound makes you suddenly open your eyes and you fear for your life for a few seconds, but you finally understand that it's actually the door of the cellar that we tried to force. A split second later, it opens on the fly, letting in several armed people. Your first reaction, no doubt stupid, is to believe that they are Helena’s accomplices. But when they throw themselves at her, you realize that if they’re there, it’s to help you.
THey help you get up and free you from the bonds that held your hands before getting you out of the cellar. Honestly, you don’t understand what’s going on. When you get out of the building, you realize you’re not far from your building.
The night seems to have fallen for a long time and the headlights of the police cars illuminate the street at regular intervals. They take you to an ambulance and you let it happen, like a robot. However, you quickly come back to reality by hearing a voice you know well pronounce your name.
Leah.
You barely have time to turn around as you find yourself caught in her arms, her hair obstructing your field of vision and her perfume enveloping all your senses. When you close your eyes, you feel tears coming out of your eyes and soon your whole body is shaken with tears.
Whispering comforting words in your ear, Leah leads you to the ambulance without releasing you for a single second. And that’s exactly what you need, the way you hold onto her shirt could attest to that.
"Alessia" you manage to pronounce after a few minutes.
You’re sitting in the back of the ambulance, Leah at your side while the paramedics seem determined to examine you from head to toe despite your confirmation that you’re okay.
"She’s fine" Leah says "She’s shocked, but she’s fine. Lia and Manu finds her when they come to her apartment, she was in her bedroom. She's not hurt."
You nod, feeling your throat knotted again. Knowing what she went through this because of you gnaws at you from within.
"It’s my fault Lee. She came back because I was seen in her neighborhood in Oslo. You were right. I should never have gone."
"It’s not your fault" Leah replies, wiping one of your tears rolling down your cheeks
But you cannot tolerate that answer. You gently shake your head and shift a little to get away from her. You don’t deserve someone to comfort you after all the evil you brought tonight. Especially not someone like Leah. Someone who deserves better. It’s time you stopped being selfish.
"Y/N..."
Leah try to take you back against her, but you are interrupted by one of the nurses who comes back to you with different papers in his hands. Apparently you are fine, but they still want to keep you in the hospital under observation for the night. You will probably be visited by police officers to discuss what has just happened.
You nod, despite the fact that you are getting tired of hospitals.
"Are you coming with us?" the nurse asks Leah
"Yes" she answers automatically
"No" you answer at the same time
The look Leah gives you is so shocked that you can’t help but feel guilty. Like at the beginning of your relationship, you still have no desire to hurt or harm her.
"Alessia’s gonna need you" you’re vaguely mumbling as an explanation
"She has Lia and Manu with her and we called her parents"
Realizing the number of people involved in this story, you curl up and squeeze your palms against your eyes. When you feel Leah’s hand on your shoulder, you have once again the reflex to try to detach yourself from it. But Leah doesn't let you.
"Everybody’s gonna hate me" you mumble, before you start thinking out loud. "I’m gonna have to move from here, change places and stop football. The best thing is that I go back to Norway and I…"
"Y/N, shut up for mercy"
You oblige and freeze instantly when you hear Leah’s voice. With the help of her hands, she gently lifts you up and removes your hands in the same way from your eyes.
"I know what you’re doing. There’s no way you’re running away. Nobody’s going to hate you. You’re the victim in the story"
But you shake your head violently at this statement. You feel the ambulance start, the engine purring gently.
"Bullshit. If there’s a victim here, it’s Alessia. And you, because you should never have had to go through this. And Lia and Manu, who certainly freaked out too. And Alessia's family, god can you imagine their fear? It’s my fault that all this happened."
"No. It’s Helena’s fault."
You hate to hear Leah say that name and she knows it perfectly. If the nickname she had chosen was a little to dismiss the situation, he was nonetheless innocent. It was mostly to stop hearing that name that makes you nauseous.
"Everybody’s gonna know. Everybody’s gonna know and hate me" you say in a low voice.
"Nobody’s gonna hate you god Y/N" sighs Leah pushing you to sit next to you on the bed. "The only thing that’s gonna happen is that people who know about you will be worried about you because you’re important to their lives. Because they care about you. Because they love you."
You remain silent, carefully avoiding Leah’s gaze. You cannot imagine that she could be right to be completely honest, something terrible could have happened to Alessia for example. And if Leah had been with you, you wouldn’t even imagine what might have happened. The very idea terrifies you.
"I can’t let her get close to you" you end up answering.
"She can’t do it anymore. After what happened tonight, even if you decide for stupid reasons not to press charges, Alessia will."
Leah’s tone is a little abrupt and you can’t decently blame her for being a little bit angry. Alessia is one of your best friends, but you know that Leah and her are also very close. So you remain silent, letting yourself move as the road moves. You feel Leah’s gaze on you, but yours is stubbornly fixed on your hands.
"Hey"
Leah’s voice sounds again after a few minutes and surprises you in your thoughts. Forgetting your resolve until now, you mechanically turn your gaze on her.
"Believe it or not, you matter to a lot of people here"
You sigh softly and look away again, putting your eyes back on the landscape that passes by the small rear window of the ambulance.
"I don’t want to cause trouble for anyone. Especially not for people I love"
"There won’t be any more problems. She won’t make it this time."
Leah seems so confident and determined that you finally believe it a little. But Helena always seemed so untouchable that you still have a little trouble realizing that it’s possible. Except for Ingrid, no one ever suspected what she was doing to you. Leah knows now and you’ll probably have a lot of questions to ask her about how they found you.
"Hey" whispers Leah again.
You again silently raise your gaze on her and you note with surprise that it has softened a little since earlier.
"I do. I love you, I care for you and you mean the world to me"
You’re back in tears. Leah puts an arm around you and you let yourself go against her this time, unable to resist any longer the comfort that you know she is able to provide you.
"And I’ll tell you until you finally believe it, every day if you have to. Until you get sick of me."
"Never" you mumble, not really knowing if she heard you.
Plot twist: She heard you.
When you arrive at the hospital, you stubbornly refuse additional tests, repeating again and again that you are fine. You don’t even have a concussion as a result of the shock you received, which made you lose consciousness. You have a good bump, though, and some bruises. But you’re doing pretty well.
The most difficult moment is undoubtedly the interrogation of the police to whom you had to tell everything from A to Z. Despite your supplications, Leah was not allowed to stay with you and this obviously made things much more complicated to live or to relive.
The second moment was the call to your parents, informed by the justice of what had happened to you. To them too, you had to tell them some things but you silenced the worst things undoubtedly. They’ll probably resent you for a while for hiding such things from them, but not to the point of not wanting to talk to you. You had to stop your mother from jumping on the first plane to meet you.
Fortunately, the judicial inquiry and everything around it will be kept silent at your request and the general public will not learn what happened to you in the past and in recent days. The official story is that you and Alessia stumbled upon a group of particularly aggressive burglars. That’s quite plausible.
To get you home, Leah had to go home to pick up a car since she followed you here with the ambulance. After making sure you were okay, she finally left the hospital and you took the opportunity to call Ingrid, informed by your parents. You should also ask them not to say anything. For Ingrid, you know that you have no risk of this happening.
You just hung up with her when someone gently knocks on the door of your room and you look up at the door when you allow the person to enter. Your heart tightens a little when seeing that it's Alessia. She looks at you cautiously and on your side you don't dare to sketch the slightest movement, persuaded that she's terribly angry with you. And if it’s not her, it’ll probably be her family.
"Can I come in?" she asks you, almost timidly.
You silently nod for any answer. You watch her gently close the door behind her, looking in her behavior for the slightest sign of a potential dispute or reproach. Your eyes glide over herface, hands and body in search of wounds, but you find nothing.
If Leah saw you, she’d probably call you a fool.
"How are you feeling?"
Her question makes you blink and you feel a little stupid for not having asked it first. So you bite your lip briefly before returning it to her, without having replied.
"What about you?"
"I'm okay. I only have one bump."
You cross her eyes and you can easily detect the attention with which she looks at you.
"I'm -"
"Leah told me you expect me to yell at you or resent you. But it’s not what I think Y/N. It’s not your fault."
You sigh softly and shake your head negatively. You want people to stop telling you that, because you know that’s the case. You never should have gone back to her house that night, she never would have come back.
"Listen" continues Alessia as she sits on your bed "I know what you think but let me tell you what I think. It wasn’t very smart of you to go back to her house in Oslo, I agree with you, but at least now we know where she is and what she’s doing. She can’t hurt anyone anymore. She can never come back for you or seek to harm you in any way. You can feel safe now, because you are."
It’s hard to remain insensitive to such a speech, but you can’t find the words to answer Alessia. The blonde doesn't seem to hold it against you once again, since she addresses you a new smile.
"And for what it’s worth, you’re still my sis. And I love you."
Despite yourself, you can’t hold a little laugh and you reach out to her hoping to receive a hug. Alessia isn't begging to offer you one, almost crushing you in her arms.
"I’m so glad you’re okay" you whisper, briefly tightening your arms around her. "And thank you."
"What for?"
"Being you. To forgive me, to be there again and again."
"Again and again" she repeats before letting you go, smiling. "Now put on your shoes and jacket, Leah is waiting for us downstairs. Let's go to her before she accuse me to molesting you again."
********
There are finally only a few people at Arsenal who are aware of what really happened and it suits you very well. In addition to Leah, Alessia, Lia and Manu, you suffered the suspicious look of Katie who looked at you at length during your story. She didn’t ask any specific questions, but just told you that if you needed any help from the Irish mafia, she had contacts. You know that this is certainly not true (well, you hope) but you appreciate the message behind this statement.
You violently refused to rest for the next games, just like Alessia. You also asked Jonas to treat you as he would normally, according to your abilities of the moment and what you do during training. That puts you in the starting players for the final game for the England Cup, West Ham. And this time, you are both on the pitch against Alina and Jordan, who are also both lined up from the start of the game.
The players of the opposing team are not yet present in the corridor when you arrive and you imagine that it's for this reason that Leah lets herself grab your fingers with hers. This draws your questioning gaze to her and she simply smiles at you. You feel that she is trying not to choke you with her worry about what happened with Helena, but you appreciate her constant presence at your side. Since you are only between you and the others are discussing everything and nothing, you take the opportunity to let yourself go a little more against her.
"Stressed?" You ask Leah when she drops your fingers to put her arm around your waist.
"A little more than usual" confesses the blonde in a low voice.
"You will be exceptional, as always"
Leah pinches your ribs smiling maliciously, your little cry of surprise making turn almost all of your teammates. Some people laugh when they see you, and you chase Leah’s hand away by hitting her. Seeing that she is about to continue your hand game, Lia pretends to intervene between you smiling.
"That’s enough, behave yourself"
That’s when the West Ham players begin to arrive at your side and you let Leah spin you aroung by holding you by the shoulders to face the exit. That doesn’t stop you from taking one last amused look at her before focusing on the game. Well it was until Leah kiss your jaw.
Your face is impassive when you shake hands with Jordan and then with Alina. You feel a lot better in your shoes than the last time it happened and it really makes you happy.
You find yourself in front of the field, attacking, alongside Alessia. Leah is in the back with Katie and with Caitlin, Lia in midfield, Beth and Viv, it has become a bit of your basic structure. It works very well like that and Jonas probably didn't want to take risks and try last minute strategies. Maybe he keeps a card in his sleeve for the second half if something weird happens.
But it doesn’t happen. Alessia manages to score a goal in the twelfth minute and you put another one in the twenty-third. Katie scores the third on a free kick just before half-time and you have to hold back from jumping into the locker room. Jonas urges you to stay focused for the second half, reminding you that if you managed to score three in forty-five minutes, West Ham is quite capable of doing so as well. So it’s just as focused that you go back into the field, ready to fight.
You don’t know what instructions the coach gave to the West Ham players, but there is no doubt that he asked them to press you as high as possible on the court. During corners or free kicks it's suddenly Alina who is supposed to take you, which isn't necessarily to your liking. You suddenly push her hands back when she puts them on you several times, ending up attracting the attention of the referee who comes to ask you to calm down a little.
West Ham actually manages to score a goal soon after, but you score a second a few minutes later. And Kyra, back for Beth at halftime, seals your easy win just before the end of the game.
When you lift the cup, you can’t help but look at the joy on Leah’s face and then on your teammates. Your friends. No matter how much you think about it, you don’t remember being as happy in your life as you are at that moment.
You smile at Leah when she crosses your eyes, mimicking a silent "I love you" with your lips, to which she responds by sending you a kiss.
********
"Leah, where are we going?" you ask, laughing softly, the blonde making you walk with both hands on your eyes.
It almost makes you stumble several times, but Leah watches over you carefully and catches up with you every time.
"We’re almost there" the blonde promises.
And indeed, a few seconds later she releases your eyes, taking the time to put in front of you before resuming the speech.
"Don’t open your eyes yet" Leah said, taking your face in her hands "First of all, I want you to know that there is no obligation to anything. That it won’t change anything between us no matter what you say. And that I love you"
"You’re scaring me, Lee." You mumble, frown.
"You don’t need it" Leah smiles.
She puts a tender kiss on your lips before releasing you and stepping back a few steps.
"You can open your eyes now"
You comply and blink several times to recover to the ambient light. Leah dragged you here after training, you’re at St-Albans not far from the training center, but not far from where her parents live too. You know that Caitlin and Katie, Kyra and Lia lived not far from here too. The building in front of you is typically English. It's a semi-detached house whose building is protected by a barrier and various security. Some work has certainly been done recently because everything seems particularly clear.
"What are we doing here?" you ask while frowning.
Leah is scratching her throat, apparently a little stressed. The way she swings from her toes to her heels tells you how nervous she is.
"Move in with me. We practically live together already and I want to wake up with you every day. I want to fall asleep with you and be able to moan because Raven is clawing on my couch while that damn cat has a brand new cat tree. I want to be able to take care of you and protect you every day. I know it’s a big step, but I love you and I want to make my life with you. Say yes, please?"
"Of course, yes" you answer with a smile.
Truth is, she already had you in the first sentence, but hearing that pretty statement doesn’t hurt. A big smile appears on Leah’s face as she hurries to put her hands around your waist to lift you off the floor and offer you a hug. You can’t help but laugh and put your arms around her neck.
After a few kisses, Leah shows you around the house, pointing out that you have the right to refuse the place if it doesn't suit you. But it seems to be perfect. An underground garage, the ground floor is reserved for the kitchen, the open dining room and the living room which gives access to the large garden behind the house. There is also a bathroom. Upstairs, there is what Leah proposes to transform into your ensuite bedroom, a guest room, another bathroom and a room that she proposes to transform into your studio provided that you leave her a small corner to install her piano and desk.
"What do you think?" Leah anxiously asks as you walk down to the living room.
"I love it" you answer honestly with a big smile on your face.
Leah smiles and seems to relax when she hears your answer. She puts her hands on your hips when you snuggle up against her and put your lips on her cheek and neck.
"I’m surprised you chose a semi-detached house" you admit however between two kisses.
"Oh, the neighbor looks nice, I don’t think you’ll have any trouble getting along" smiled Leah, sliding her finger under your chin to put a kiss on your lips. "Come, I’ll introduce you"
She grabs your hand and brings you out of the house to go into the house attached to yours. Both have been redone recently and you appreciate the light color of the front and the orange cobblestones on the outside, giving a small impression of southern Europe despite being in St-Albans.
Leah knocks at the door and you stand slightly behind her, still clinging to her hand. But your curiosity gives way to surprise when the door opens to an Alessia Russo and her famous smile.
"What are you doing here?" you ask, confused. "Are you dating the neighbor?"
"No" laughs Alessia while Leah next to you laughs too. "I’m the neighbor"
It takes you a few seconds to figure out what that means. You look in turn at Leah, who has meanwhile entered the house to greet Alessia’s brother whom you had not yet noticed, and Alessia who continues to smile.
"Are you moving here?"
"I think. This house is buzzing and apparently the neighbors won’t be too annoying"
You just smile while Luca confirms by mentioning all the positive things he found in the house. You quickly understand that Alessia called on him to get a second look and make sure everything was in order, but you trust Leah completely in that regard. Instead of listening, you jump into Alessia’s arms and finally realize what it means. You would have been sad not to have her next to you to be completely honest, but this is even better than what you imagined.
"You didn’t expect to get rid of me like that?" whispers Alessia, smiling as you hugged.
You roll your eyes and just tighten her against you with your arms around her neck, before Leah joins your embrace, squeezing you both against her.
"You whisper sweet words to my girlfriend besides molesting her now, Russo?"

Klamille is my OTP from TO. Yes I know I’m late in the show 🤦🏻‍♀️ I didn’t get to enjoy it live *SOBS* but I’ve recently binged watched all 5 seasons and WTF!! Smh. I haven’t watched legacies because, let’s be honest, Klaus Mikaelson is my tiny baby who deserved better than what he got and so did his wifey. Also, can I just say, there was NO REASON to bring Caroline into TO. That right there was fan service to the Kl*rolines, who btw, did NOT deserve it. After what they did to Leah Pipes, they deserved NOTHING. *Sighs* I’m, what, 5 years too late and yet I’m angry because it feels like it was yesterday. Whatever. Julie Plec & Kevin Williamson are the true villains of TO. Point blank. *storms off*

Took this weekend off from binge watching Star Trek to binge watch another insane space show: Foundation season 2.
It's an interesting show, and I'm invested in the plot (Lee Pace). I hear some people find it chaotic with the different storylines, but I could follow the story pretty well (shirtless Lee Pace), though I did miss some characters who had a larger role in season 1 (Leah Harvey being a loner badass). Luckily there's exciting new characters (fully nude Lee Pace, and his open robe) and plot points (extreme and literally violent sexual tension between Lee Pace and Ben Daniels). Anyways, if you haven't seen it, give it a chance! You may see something you like... (6' 5" actor Lee Pace).

Maya le tissier fanfic part 1!
(sorry if there’s spelling mistakes Ive written most of this late at night)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
20th July 2022
BREAKING NEWS Maya Le Tissier has joined Manchester united on a 3 year deal reports say.
You turn away from your phone to your team mates who have been discussing the rumours all week and now it has finally been confirmed.
“Can’t wait to meet her” Millie Turner said from across the room.
“She was hard to get past when we played Brighton”, Leah Galton replied.
The introduction of a new player is always exciting to have, but with her it seemed different.
You watched her enter the training ground already wearing the united training kit with a big smile on her face, a smile so contagious it lit up the whole room up, and she’d been here for 5 minutes, yet it felt it as if you knew her your whole life.
The way she shook your hand to greet you and looked into your eyes as if you were an old friend that haven’t seen each other in a long time, it just felt natural.
Millie Turner must have said something funny because she laughed as she was greeting her making her head slightly tilt backwards.
You couldn’t help but smile.
“What are you smiling at?”, Nikita joked poking your side.
“Nothing” You laughed shaking your head back at her.
-
A few weeks had past and Maya fitted in straight away, she was always working hard especially in the gym.
Just before the season starts the whole team decided we should go out altogether for a meal before the hard works starts.
It was a fancy restaurant that we were not used to and half the menu seemed pointless. You happened to sit next to Maya who gave you a smile as you were sitting down.
“That suit looks good on you”. Maya said as she ran her fingers so delicately on your shoulder feeling the fabric.
“Why thank you”, You replied feeling yourself start to blush. “Your dress is beautiful”. You said slightly positioning your body towards her.
“Maya what are you going to order?”, Katie asked from across the table.
This diverted her attention off you as she turned to Katie replying she’s going to order pasta.
In them few seconds you missed having her full attention on you which made you think, is there a chance you have some feelings towards her? No that can’t be the case you barely know her, she’s been here for 3 weeks and you’re already jumping to conclusions because she complimented you once, I am really down that bad you thought to yourself slightly shaking your head.
The night went on and before you knew it, it was already 2am due to the amount of drinks that were being ordered.
By that time there was an only a small group of us left.
“Ughh i can’t believe an uber is £30 just get back to my apartment” You sighed.
“I could give you a ride?” Maya replied with a smile, as she hasn’t had much to drink. (don’t be dirty minded😉)
“Are you sure?”. You replied slurring, regretting having them shots ella convinced you to drink.
“Of course” She replied with a smile.
“Thanks”.
“No problem”. She replied slightly stroking your back.
Once you got in the car you turned to look at maya who was rubbing her arms due to the cold winter air.
“You can wear my jacket if you like”, you asked her.
“No it’s ok”, she said smiling “your apartment is only 20 minutes away”.
“Ok, if you get hypothermia don’t blame me”.
“Woww”, she said laughing slightly pushing your shoulder.
You laughed with her.
The drive to her apartment seemed quicker than you hoped as you both listened to the radio almost at full volume.
You saw Maya glance to the side of you and she noticed you didn’t look so well, your arms were now folded onto your stomach and you looked out the window slightly turning away from her.
She quickly parked up just in front of your flat. “Are you ok?”. Maya asked worriedly.
“I think i’ve drank too much”, you chuckled wiping your forehead that was slightly sweating somehow even though it was freezing outside.
“Let’s get inside then”, she said quickly getting out her car and walking round to help you.
As you were about to enter your apartment building a group of guys walked past that you were familiar with.
“Look at the state of her”, one of them remarked and then they all started laughing.
“Hey, leave her alone”, Maya replied back angrily.
“Or what?”.
“Maya it’s ok”. You exclaimed.
Maya walked back up to the guy “I’m gonna sh-”
“Maya let’s go”, You interrupted, walking inside.
Maya sighed smirking at the guy, then slowly turned to follow you.
“Do them guys bother you a lot?”, Maya asked placing an arm around your shoulder as you walked to the lift.
“Sometimes…b-but not often”, you replied avoiding eye contact with her.
“You’re welcome to stay with me if they do”, maya said as you searched for your keys in your bag.
“Thanks, but it’s ok”, you said as you walked out the lift, to your door.
“Are you sure?”, She asked.
You didn’t reply as you did want to stay with her…but for the wrong reason.

Sorry this is so short for now i will continue this if you want me to :)

Okie dokie, I wanted to share my opinion on the PJO show so far. Feel free to disagree, this is my personal opinion.
The Disney+ PJO show does not live up to the hype. I'm trying not to be so critical since it is meant to be a kids' show, and I am no longer in that target age demographic, but it's really bugging me. I'm not saying that it's awful, but it isn't as good as people are making it out to be. My reasoning is below (the order does not matter, it is not an order of importance/most annoying to least annoying, it is literally just the order I typed them out in.:
1. Pacing. The first two episodes had really weird pacing and episodes 3 and 4 were only a little better. Major things are rushed and minor things are stretched out. I understand that adapting a book to screen means some things will be left out or rushed but this was to the extent that it was difficult to stay engaged because either too much or too little was happening.
2. Show not tell. Everything is told, nothing is shown. Instead of the trio figuring things out, they are just told everything. Too much of the show is an exposition dump. I understand that with something based on Greek mythology, there is some explaining that needs to happen, but this is excessive. Luke just said, "Annabeth's my sister," and they have like 1 interaction. Show the bond don't just say it.
3. Character development. I feel like we have seen very little character development from the trio. The most recent episode has it best, but the relationships between the trip are so important, and I feel like they aren't being delved into enough. This is true with all characters, but since the trio is going to be the main focus of the season, I feel like their development should be better. I'm fairly hopeful that this will get better in the coming episodes, but it is a gripe I currently have.
4. Acting. This one probably relates back yo character development and pacing a lot, and it isn't really a priority for me because I know the show focuses on child actors, and I can forgive them for not being the best because they are children. For the most part, the acting is good. That being said, there have been multiple occasions where the acting has been so bad or campy that I was completely taken aback. Percy has many moments where the lines seem really clunky or he just seems out of character. Waking up in the infirmany and his first little bit at camp was poorly acted in my opinion. Percy is supposed to think his mother is dead, and any grief or saddness is barely there. I feel like this may be because of how rushed Percy's introduction to camp was (back to pacing issues). Annabeth's introduction was incredibly bitchy and watching it just shocked me. I can understand her being reserved and a bit hostile, but the tone was just really weird, and to me, it felt out of character. Idk if that was an acting choice by Leah or a directing choice, but it was strange to me. There are some other parts where the acting isn't the greatest also. I know I may be too critical in this aspect, but these characters mean a lot to me, and seeing parts of them poorly acted stand out a lot and ruin my immersion. It's been getting better as the show goes on, and I'm confident it will continue to improve, but it has bothered me, and I wanted to vent a bit.
5. Stakes. They have made it seem like the entire quest is about Percy getting his mom back. I understand focusing on that angle because Percy is motivated to go on the quest because of the chance to get his mother back, but the quest is also about stopping a war between the gods. They don't mention the master bolt enough and haven't mentioned the fact that Zeus and Posideon are on the brink of war nearly enough. The dreams with Kronos taunting Percy help with this issue, but not enough, in my opinion. I know the stakes, but while watching the show, I even start to believe the quest is just about getting his mom back. I'm watching with someone who has never read the books, and they thought the quest was just about his mom. A little more emphasis on the whole saving the world part of the quest would be nice.
Other than these reasons the show is good, I like watching it and will continue to watch it. I just wonder how much of my enjoyment is coming from nostalgia and love for the books. I also think that as a community, PJO fans have not been very open to hearing criticism about the show. This is understandable because there is a not insignificant amount of criticism that is stupid like "its not the same as the books" or the racist bullshit relating to Annabeth's casting. However, there are definitely things that aren't great about the show and could be done better, and we should be able to voice these criticisms. We should be able to discuss differing opinions on the show without it becoming an argument.

!PJO SHOW SPOILERS!
Quick little nod to the watch parter Walker, Leah and Aryan had for the Premier! It's so adorable and so funny, their friendship is amazing.
But my favourite part was Leah's "there's always a duo in a trio." Like yes, yes, there is, but the potential that has for edits??? Like right now, it's percy and Grover, but in season 5, that's going to switch, and I can already see Aryan bringing it up when the last olympian is released.
Episode 3 Highlights:
- THE CHOOSING CEREMONY! Oh my god, I was screaming! The way Annabeth's face lit up temporarily, then she returned to her cool, calm collectedness. You can celebrate Annabeth, you've been waiting forever for this! Personal headcanon that Malcolm was bombarded with her rambling excessively as she packed.
-THE SHOES!!!! THEY WAY THE WINGS WERE WOVEN OUT OF THE SHOELACES?!?! I'm a VFX fanatic, and that was so cool!
- Annabeth and Thalia's tree?? I almost cried oh my god. But Percy's line of "She met the fate of a pinecone" So funny but now is not the time sir.
- I have read these books so many times with the most recent being the beginning of December and it never clicked to me properly that Grover was both of their protectors. Like I knew that Grover found Annabeth and Grover was Percy's protector but the line of "He was my protector first." Was a real light bulb moment for me.
- The song on the bus! Oh my god I'm going to use that when my baby cousins fight. I really thought the clapping was going to be Alecto but it was Grover singing his happy song.
- Annabeth not knowing which snacks to get! I love her characterisation so much I don't think anyone could've done as good a job as Leah.
-The two furies! That was cool! Annabeth just stabbing Alectos sister as an answer to Alecto? Badass.
- The Medusa scene was so different to the book and honestly I preferred it. It was a scene I never really understood its use apart from to demonstrate Percy has a rebellious streak and Annabeth's fatal flaw is hubris. What do you mean a daughter of Athena wouldn't realise aunty ems was medusa based on the statues it's like Greek mythology 101. But the way they had to pick between Medusa and Alecto and the lesser of two evils! Tell me that's not foreshadowing for choosing between 12 O's and big bad K (speaking in code to avoid non-reader spoilers for future events.)
- More on Medusa, the plan??? Made so much more sense and I almost broke when Percy tried to suggest Annabeth left her hat behind!!
-PERCY SAYING HE THOUGHT ANNABETH WOULD NEVER BE HIS FRIEND! You cannot tell me Annabeth just felt like she'd been punched in the gut. All those years she's waited and she finally gets chosen for her wit and ability to stay on task but then the forbidden kid she's been waiting revealed it's actually because he hates her. Ouch.
- Them revealing why they didn't take the respective deals?? Brilliant.
- "they'll think we're impertinent." "I am impertinent" "but we're not" the trio in one foul swoop: reason, rebellion and reputation.
- I am unsure how I feel about Lin as Hermes, I think maybe he'll grow on me but he looked so pissed off in the elevator and then was so proud of their mischief. It was a good little moment.

Not playing in the Champions League is certainly disappointing, but the fact that you can go to your girlfriend's games cheers you up. You'd been going out with Jana since the SheBelievesCup in 2020. It was the start of the USWNT vs Spain match, and you had just inspected the pitch when you saw that the La Roja team had arrived to do the same. That's when you met for the first time. You weren’t necessarily looking for love, but it seems to have found you and hit you hard.
//
At the end of the match, it was thanks to Kelley and Emily that you had the courage to approach her to talk. You were scared because you'd just won the match and destroyed their hopes of winning the SheBelievesCup. After that, the more the days went by, the more you got to know each other, which is why, at the end of the 2020/2021 season, you decided to go to Gothenburg in Sweden to watch her Champions League final.
Sitting alongside some of the WSL players, you were one of the only ones wearing a Barcelona shirt, even the Arsenal players who were there were wearing a Chelsea shirt despite their rivalry.
//
When the final whistle blew, you rushed to the edge of the stands in hope of seeing her. She took you down onto the pitch with the help of her captain, Alexia Putellas. You thanked Alexia before she winked at you and left to see the rest of the team.
Once the celebrations were over, you went back to the hotel with Jana's team, so it must have been a coincidence that she was alone in her room. You remember you kissed for the first time that evening and you said we'd talk about it when we woke up in the morning if we remembered...
You remembered, and you plucked up the courage to ask her to be your girlfriend. She kissed you back with a big smile and asked if you could keep it between you, because despite everything you're still young, and even though you're in the 21st century, homophobia is still present.
"Of course", you replied, agreeing with her, because even if you’re quite open about it, it's not always easy to live with it when you can get beaten up in the street for it.
//
That's how you ended up in Eindhoven this year, wearing a shirt with 'FERNANDEZ' written on the back with her number 5. This time you were again in the company of players from Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, some of whom were for Barcelona and others for Wolfsburg.
When the abutment team came out, she instantly found you; it was as if she knew you were there, in that very spot. Wishing her good luck from a distance, she gave you two thumbs up and a big smile. These actions did not go unnoticed by Leah Williamson and Lia Walti, who were sitting behind you.
At half-time you tried to reach down to grab Jana and tell her that everything was going to be fine, that she shouldn't go away defeatist.
"Jana" you shouted a little, so that she could see and hear you, she was surprised to see you here, instead of in your seat.
"Stop stressing, stop being scared, you're FC Barcelona, the best team in the world, you can do it. You can win, all right? I trust you, I trust you. So get moving okay, where's the team that gave us a 4-0 hammering during the season?" you say, hoping to cheer her up so she can do the same afterwards in the dressing room.
"We're going to win, I promise, mi amor," she tells you, whispering the last part.
"I'd rather that, now go on, your team's waiting for you, I love you," you say, blowing her a kiss on the cheek and shaking her hand before climbing back into your seat.
When the match resumed, it was immediately clear that Barcelona had not finished fighting, and what the coach had to say in the dressing room did them good, even a little too much, because in just 2 minutes, Patri levelled the score. Ten minutes later, it was Fridolina Rolfo's turn to score, putting the team ahead for the first time in the match.
With a score of 3-2, FC Barcelona regained the title of best team in Europe. As two years ago, you rushed to the edge of the stands for Jana, who quickly noticed me and helped me down the barrier. Deja vu, eh?
"I'm so proud of you" you say, taking her in your arms and twirling her around.
"I could never have done it without you mi amor" she said, wrapping her arms around your neck.
"I want to kiss you can I?" you asked, looking her straight in the eye.
"Go ahead, show the world that I'm yours and you're mine" she said, smiling.
With that, you put your lips on hers before we pulled away because of the wolf whistles that Mapi, Alexia and Bruna were blowing at you.
//
The day after the celebrations, you woke up with a massive headache, to the ringing of Jana's and your phones. She still has her head on you chest with one arm under the pillow and the other on top of you.
"Por favor apaga tu teléfono mi amor" she begged you, burying her head in your neck to get comfortable.
"Careful" you said as you moved to pick up both yours phones, when you handed her hers, you'd already switched your on to find out what was going on, you'd only had time to read one notification when you saw that Kelley was calling you on facetime.
"Hi?" you say, yawning and making sure Jana was comfortable.
"Don't "hi" me, how come it takes you a season in Spain, to be in a relationship with someone?" she asked you half seriously and half jokingly
"Honestly? it isn’t from this season" you say.
"What? and you didn't tell me" she said.
"Oops?" you say, blocking your eyes with Jana who looked at you in incomprehension.
"You could at least be polite and put your girlfriend on so I can say hello to her" she said with a smile.
After that disastrous call, you decided to go back and check the notifications on instagram, when you saw that Jana and you had got your fans chattering all over the web last night with your kiss. Your fans even had time to make edits. Before you know it, Jana had taken a photo of you and posted it on her instagram story, her head with your arm around it and you on your phone looking at all the photos where you'd been tagged. She captioned it, "the best wake-up after being European champion. 💙"

My takeaways from Season 2 of The Wilds and my hopes for Season 3:
1. I really fucking enjoyed it. I understand the complaints about the boys taking away from the girls screen time, and I agree to an extent, but I think having the juxtaposition of the boys failing like so many of the tasks set directly next to the girls just thriving together was very much needed. Plus, it will be interesting to see how the boys bonds compare to the girls, and how their personalities mesh with each other!
2. The girls take priority in my hearts obvi but I really did enjoy some of the boys’ storylines!! The Ivan/Kirin storyline was a such great arc, especially compared to their developments on the island between like episode 1 and 5.
3. Henry is my absolutely favorite of the boy group and I just adore him. I want him to become besties with some of the girls. I want him to start humming a random and obscure song that Leah also knows. I want him to say something disparaging about parental expectations and institutions and Fatin to be like “hell yeah man.” I want him and Dot to have debates about survival techniques.
4. I want Bo and Shelby to bond over some of their shared religious trauma!! I think it would be so good for Shelby to be able to talk about it with someone who actually understands where she’s coming from!!
5. I also hope we get to see the southerners (the texas girls and the florida boys) bond a little over weather or food or something! And for Kirin and Rachel to discuss athletics and dealing with sudden changes that impact your sports career.
6. I want the boys to see the girls come together and come up with a plan and just like function as the found family unit they are, and realize that they are so out of their depth. Like I want some of the guys to try and take charge and have the girls immediately look at each other and just laugh.
7. I also want them to learn about what each group had to deal with!! Like both groups had to deal with some pretty harrowing shit. I want the guys to talk about how terrifying the jaguar was and then have Rachel just hold up her right arm and be like “I survived a shark attack.” I want the guys to just be like wow so we survived some pretty difficult physical stuff but they had whole ass mental trips to deal with too huh.
8. I cannot WAIT to see Leah try to explain to the others that Nora is still alive. Especially her bestie-in-mental-distress Rachel
9. Leah and Fatin WHO I CALLED IN SEASON 1 AND GAVE US SO MUCH THIS SEASON. Like I’m sorry but one or both of them is going to sleep with one of the guys and but then find their way back to each other FOR SURE
10. Alex Fitzalan as Seth was incredible. The way he managed to turn an at first endearing socially anxious rambling into something so sinister by the end of the season was superb. Like I might never look at him the same way again, and I already fell in love with him in The Society so that means something. He is a phenomenal actor.
11. Last but certainly not least, SHONI. Their story was so fucking cute this season. The pure moments. The fact that they were together and that sexual tension was still there in so many scenes (aka when Toni was watching Shelby go nuts over party planning and just got so hot for her like damn). The communication and the love and the beautifully shot scenes of them making out in the woods!!! Honestly I have nothing but high hopes for them they are the moment

Making a silk purse out of a sows ear: the new Netflix shows by u/Mickleborough
Making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear: the new Netflix shows Richard Eden’s column in the Daily Mail (archived / unarchived), posted earlier and announcing that filming of Meghan’s quackery show begins demain, also has some interesting professional information:The first show is Harry’s not-Ralph-Lauren polo doco.Presumably the Sussexes are hoping that some stardust brushes off them:- Welcome to Wrexham has won 5 Primetime Emmy awards. Disclaimer: I’ve not watched it. From what I gather, Welcome to Wrexham is about 2 Americans who buy the 3rd oldest professional football team in the world (founded 1864) and who try to revive its fortunes. It’s got eccentricity (who buys a football team?); cultural clashes (no football club management experience); an underdog story (Wrexham AFC’s not very highly ranked, but has been improving); and Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds (the co-owners). That’s a lot of meaty storylines there: a 3rd season will be released.Let’s see what Milos Balać can make of Harry playing polo; Meghan watching Harry play polo; Meghan presenting Harry with a trophy; Meghan kissing Harry for winning; Meghan trying to look relevant on a polo field.- Selena + Chef was nominated for a daytime Emmy as well as a host of other lesser awards. Disclaimer: I’ve not watched it. It’s about someone meeting various well-known chefs and being taught by them (remotely?) how to cook their signature dishes in a manner that’s ‘unrehearsed, unfiltered, and totally unscripted’. I gather Gomez’s family or friends sample her efforts at the end. It’s an original concept, with comedy (following instructions from well-known chefs via a remote camera; the usual disasters that come with cooking); heart (sharing with family and friends); and, of course, Selena Gomez. It ran for 4 seasons. What will Leah Hariton make of Meghan’s word salad, roast chicken, avocado toast, and unsubtle flogging of lifestyle brand American Riveting Orca? Will these talented film makers deliver resounding successes? Or will both be like Meghan’s Thanksgiving show, being a pair of turkeys? Having a good film maker doesn’t guarantee awards, right, Liz Garbus? post link: https://ift.tt/9rAQoWz author: Mickleborough submitted: April 16, 2024 at 12:24AM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog.
