Just noticed a lovely little costume detail in this scene and had to share.

Under their fleecy coats Rory and Jess's shirts are pretty much exactly the same shade of purple. I like to kind of read that as a subtle visual cue that while they might be in opposition on the surface (arguing about Luke and the chalk outline prank), under that there's this inherent kinship between them. It's like they're LITERALLY cut from the same cloth.

(Even the way Jess's coat is buttoned up and Rory's is open implying that he's more guarded about his inner self at this stage - god I love the costuming on this show!)

NXX Casino Heist

by someone who has this in a giant google doc, but decided it makes more sense in bullet points

alright so let me set the scene for you:

tyson has some shady dealings not with the abyss, but with a casino further up

it was a money laundering front to fund the drug trials. what more could he ask for? so what does the nxx need to do?

find the evidence of money laundering hidden in a safe that davis has so graciously provided for them

so it's time to get spiffy! marius is in charge of the wardrobe bc he has the best fashion sense in terms of what people who have money wear not bc he's the nxx wallet nope that's not it

artem... doesn't get a makeover sadly, all he gets is switching which side he parts his hair.

vyn also gets a side part!! as well as a spiffy new cream tux.

luke gets slicked back hair, he's gonna be looking the part of the body guard. god he looks so hot bro it's uNFAIR

and marius gets a fur coat just a simple change of clothes. he's been to casinos before maybe he has a membership here.

mc looks smoking in whatever they decide to wear (mc in a suit mC IN A SUIT DJNDJFBF)

anyway here's the plan: marius and vyn will be the distractions while luke, mc, and artem deal with the actual evidence recon.

marius, by being a von hagen, acts like a snobby rich kid ready to spend money and that needs to be taken care of by a shit ton of staff

vyn brings the conflict by counting cards and... not cheating but cheating LMAO

so the staff and the security guards have their hands full with these two

and with that happening artem, luke, and mc are free to go snooping around

obviously they're on a time limit before vyn gets thrown out so they rush and are a little careless and get caught by some goons

obviously luke starts hitting and punching but whoa,, is that mc also fighting?? hot.

artem is getting trigger happy with the tranq gun LMAO

in the end they do go to the safe and luke cracks it. he deadass cracks it he just punches it and the safe cracks. this man is a powerhouse

artem takes the evidence and they yeet, but not before vyn gets thrown out for somehow winning 700k stellin in one sitting

meanwhile marius... has to now leave the den he made himself but not before he just randomly pulled a leaver on a machine and winning the 1M stellin jackpot

vyn is salty for DAYS about this

place gets shut down and stellis is a safer place the end 😌
