"Lower your guns"
In a tense standoff amidst the chaos of a battlefield, you stood firm and with a straight posture as your grip unwavers on the gun pressed against the tall figure infront of you the figure of your enemy whom you couldn't comperehend it was non other then the one and only heeseung as soon as your finger hit the guns trigger his army poised to retaliate, but hesisted at their bosses command.
"Lower your guns" he spoke with a hoarse yet cold voice that cuts through the tension as if it was a blade , his eyes not moving from the lock it had on your eyes that held too much hatred, the one he could feel just by locking his eyes with yours.
The soldiers exchanged a uncertain glances , but didn't question the command and obeyed their boss immediately, their weapons lowering as the tension between you and heeseung lingered in the air. Your gaze flickered as you felt a sudden harsh grip on your waist pulling you and the gun drops that leaves you flabbergasted not knowing what's next to come or what was heeseungs next move.

Everyday you walk onto campus and make sure you avoid eye contact with a “certain someone” and even though the outcome always remains the same, you still hope that one day it will actually make a difference. Unfortunately for you, on your campus, there is only one way to get to your morning class which makes this “certain someone” rather happy to know that you practically have to see him everyday. Although you try your best, he never fails to call out your name, even if you try hiding behind other people; he can spot you from a mile away. This, you find to be annoying. He, however, looks forward to this moment every day because what other reason is there to get up early in the morning if it means he doesn’t get to see you?
You hear him call after you as you try to quickly make your way to your first class which, luckily for you, does not include him. You can hear his footsteps hurrying towards you making you break out into a light jog to your classroom door that is just ahead. You reach for the door handle and open it just enough to let yourself in and as you are about to close it behind you, a hand from the other side stops you, forcing it back open enough for you to be face-to-face with the one and only bane of your existence: Lee Heeseung.
He gives you a cocky smile receiving an eye roll from you as you can already hear his irritating voice begin to say a bunch of sentences and words that you couldn’t care any less about because you couldn’t care any less about him. Heeseung is fully aware about how you feel about him and although some most of his actions are–-yes, he’ll admit–-advertently creepy, he means no harm. You, of course, don’t see it that way, but that doesn’t stop him.
“You didn’t hear me calling your name?” he asks, knowing that you did and also knowing that you ignored him, but he just wants to hear any snarky reply you have because that’s the only time when you actually acknowledge his presence.
“Nope, must’ve missed it.” you say in a fake sympathetic tone.
He lets out a “hmm” and you mock him. He smirks, leaning a little closer to you. You would move away, but then you figured he might take that as his chance to open the door more, so you decide to stay put.
“I was just wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner with me. There is this restaurant that my family and I only go to on special occasions and I think you’ll really like it.”
There it is, him asking you to the same stupid restaurant that you have said no to many (and you mean many) times before. You know what restaurant he is talking about, some way overpriced place that only really rich people go to. You clenched your jaw as your hand gripped the edge of the door a little tighter. He smiled at you, which you thought was him being smug, but rather it was him anticipating your answer. He meant what he said and he just wants to be given a chance to show you how much he likes you.
Him asking you out to this restaurant, always offering to buy your lunch, pay for your snacks, or buy you some other object just felt as him rubbing his money in your face, making all of his attempts seem as though they are a joke; that you are a joke. Ever since middle school, when you and Heeseung had first met, he made his “crush” on you apparent, which all of the other kids found to be funny and ridiculous. You know he doesn’t actually like you and you hate him for still acting like this even though you both are now grown adults and not eleven year old children who still ride in the car with their parent on their way to school everyday.
“Well, if you think I’ll like it, then I’ll surely hate it.” you reply.
“You’re only saying that be-”
“No, Heeseung, I will not go out with you and for the last time: stop bothering me.” you say sternly.
You scowl at him and he can’t help but find you to be adorable. He knows you’re annoyed by him, but there isn’t anyone else he would rather spend his time with other than you, even if his only way to spend time with you is by pestering you constantly.
“I’m just going to ask you again tomorrow.” he says with a smile.
You knew he wasn’t joking about that and that made your blood begin to boil. You hated having to be bothered by him, you hated feeling like a joke, you hated seeing his stupid face everyday, and you hated how it seems like he doesn't even care. You have to put a stop to this, you simply can’t take it anymore. But how? You’ve tried everything, what other way could there possibly be? Then it clicked. You stood up straighter, looking him directly in his eyes. He found himself a little taken aback by your sudden eye contact, but didn’t want to show it; to show how you make him flustered and blush just by simply looking at him.
“Heeseung, I have a boyfriend.” you say, trying not to smile.
You don’t know how you didn’t think of this before, but you’re overjoyed that the idea finally came. His smile drops–for a split second–as he felt the wind practically get knocked out of him like someone had just suckerpunched him in the gut. You were bluffing, you had to be…right?
“Pfft, I don’t believe you.” he says, letting go of the door, only to cross his arms and lean against the doorframe.
You feel your face become hot as you stand your ground, “And what exactly makes you say that?”
“I’ve never seen you with your “boyfriend”.” he says, making air quotes.
“That doesn’t mean I don’t have one.”
“Well it surely doesn’t mean that you do.”
“I know you stalk me because you have nothing better to do with your life, but that doesn’t mean you know what I do every second of the day.”
He shrugs his shoulders, not buying a word that you are saying. He keeps telling himself that you are lying, but what if that small percentage of possibility actually means you are telling the truth? He doesn’t want to think about that, he has to believe that you are lying.
“Okay, what’s his name, then?” he asks, confident that you won’t have an answer.
Shit. How do you answer that? You try not to show your worry in your expression and quickly try to come up with an answer. You open your mouth to speak, hoping the words that do end up coming out make sense.
“Yeonjun.” you reply.
Well, you said a name and that’s all that counts. Sure, it’s the name of your best friend’s boyfriend, but she won’t mind if you use him for a lie…right? Now it’s Heeseung’s turn for him to clench his jaw. He scoffs, rolling his eyes before looking back at you.
“Then how come I’ve never seen you with him on campus?”
“Because he goes to another school, idiot.”
“How did you two meet?”
“Through my best friend; they go to school together.”
You could see him become more annoyed with your answers as you tried to say them with as much confidence as possible.
“I still don’t believe you.” he says, less certain of what he is saying than before.
You’re so close and you know it, you just need to say something that will make him back-off once and for all.
“I’ll have him bring me to school tomorrow.” you said, now being the one to cross your arms as you smiled smugly.
Heeseung felt his blood run cold, terror now coursing through his veins. Were you actually telling the truth? He didn’t want to see you with some other guy, most definitely not someone who you are claiming to be your boyfriend. The thought made him both upset and annoyed. What do they have that he doesn’t? He’s the one who has been trying to show how much he likes you for years now and some rando comes in and sweeps you off of your feet? Over his dead body.
“Okay,” he says while standing up from leaning on the door, “I can’t wait to see you and a bunch of air walk into school tomorrow.”
“You still think I’m lying?”
He shrugs his shoulders, looking away before looking back at you.
“I just find it hard to believe.”
“That I have a boyfriend?”
“You could say that.”
Man, you couldn’t wait to prove him wrong (even though he is technically right). You fake laugh at his reply and stop as you grab his hand. He feels butterflies erupt in his stomach from your sudden contact and is so distracted that he isn’t even paying attention to what you are doing, which is putting his hand on the door frame. You plaster on a fake smile before quickly swinging the door shut. He snaps out of his daze and moves his hand out of the way just in time before it could have been smashed by the door.
-
Beomgyu didn’t think to even hold back his laughter once the words left your mouth and although the music in the club was blaring through the speakers, you could still hear his piercing voice. The others, however, were a little more surprised to hear what you had said, especially Yunjin and Yeonjun. You had a guilty smile on your face as you exchanged glances between the two and then Yeonjun scoffed. He raised his glass in a ‘cheers’ manner and Yunjin slapped his shoulder.
“It’s honestly not that bad of a plan,” Minjeong says, trying to defuse the tension, “Yunjin, you know better than any of us here how badly this guy bothers her.”
Yunjin sighs before she chugs the rest of her drink from her cup. “You can borrow my boyfriend on one condition: it doesn’t go too far.” She says, pointing between you and Yeonjun.
You both look at each other and cringe. Yeonjun puts his arm around Yunjin and she smiles. He kisses her temple, “As if that would ever happen.”
“So how exactly are you going to convince him?” Yunjin asks.
You chug the rest of your drink, wincing as the alcohol burns your throat. “Is it cool if Yeonjun takes me to school tomorrow? I was thinking all he has to do is walk me to my class and just essentially tell Heeseung to back off.”
“He’s not going to do it unless he believes it.” Beomgyu points out as he leans back into the booth.
“He’s right, him walking you into school isn’t going to be enough to convince him; he sounds persistent.” Minjeong agrees.
“The most he is allowed to do is kiss you on the cheek to make it believable, but that’s it.” Yunjin says looking at Yeonjun to make sure he understands.
“I don’t get a say in whether or not I agree to this?” Yeonjun asks, looking at everyone, but landing on you.
“No.” the rest of you say in unison.
He laughs before finishing his drink. “Okay. I’ll pick you up at seven thirty.”
-
Even as Yeonjun pulls his motorcycle to a stop in front of your campus, he can still feel your fingernails practically digging into his stomach.
He lifts up the visor on his helmet, “Can you please stop trying to claw your way into my intestines?”
You let go of him all together and he lets out the breath that he has been holding in.
“Sorry.” you say, it sounding muffled under the helmet. He smiles, taking off his helmet after getting off the bike. He sets his helmet down and holds out his hand for you to take. You take it, him helping you off, before he helps you take off the helmet. “Thanks.” you say and he shrugs his shoulders as a reply.
He glances over his shoulder, noticing people looking at him and you, whispering. “So, which one is the stalker?” he asks, trying to be discreet.
You turn your head to look, not seeing Heeseung anywhere, oddly enough. You scoff, “The one day he isn’t here is the day that you bring me.” you roll your eyes and Yeonjun shrugs.
“Well, see you later.”
“Woah-wait. I still need you to walk me.” you say, grabbing one of his shoulders to stop him from leaving.
“What? Why? You just said he isn’t here.”
“That doesn’t mean that I don’t need reinforcements.”
Yeonjun groans, but turns back around to face your campus. You clear your throat before reaching to hold his hand. You intertwine your fingers, looking at each other through the corners of your eyes, confirming that you’re ready to go. You walk hesitantly at first, but the further you get, Yeonjun releases his hand from yours to put his arm around you. Low and behold, once you made your way to the front of your class, Heeseung was there waiting right beside the door.
He, of course, hadn’t been there the whole time. He was pacing back and forth in the bathroom before working up the courage to actually make his way to your class, a part of him hoping he had just missed you so he wouldn’t actually have to see you with someone else. Yet there you are, walking up to him (well, your class), with some dude who looked like he was trying too hard to be cool with his arm around you. He felt sick and the closer you came, the more he felt like vomiting.
You smiled, stopping in front of your class door with Yeonjun.
“Oh Heeseung, you’re actually here, I thought you chickened out.”
He smiles, annoyed. His gaze shifts over to Yeonjun and Yeonjun smirks.
“So this is Heeseung?” He asks, eyeing him up and down.
Heeseung pokes his tongue in the side of his cheek. He looks back at Yeonjun and eyes him up and down before crossing his arms. Although he currently feels sick to his stomach, he’s still a little suspicious.
“Am I supposed to believe you’re her boyfriend?”
Yeonjun scoffs, crossing his arms, “You can believe what you want,” he steps closer to Heeseung, leaning close to his ear making Heeseung tense up, “but you better stop messing with her regardless.”
He pulls back, smiling at Heeseung and patting one of his shoulders. Heeseung scowls, wiping off his shoulder as Yeonjun turns to you. You smile at him, ignoring Heeseungs glares.
“Have a good day, babe.” he says before kissing you on your cheek. He glances back over his shoulder before snickering at Heeseung and walking away.
You smile proudly at Heeseung while he looks at you in complete and utter shock. Did he just see what he think he just saw? He couldn’t believe it, he didn’t want to believe it.
“Well,” you say, making him snap out of his thoughts, “you heard him: stop bothering me.” you say before going into your class.
-
“I heard from some people that he has a motorcycle and he brought her on it today.” Jake says while taking some food off of Sunghoon’s tray, earning a glare from him.
Heeseung rolls his eyes, clenching his fork harder in his hand. “I don’t get it, he’s not even her type.”
Sunghoon laughs and Heeseung scowls at him. “How would you know? You’re not exactly close with her.”
“I think it’s time for you to just leave her alone, you’ve been bugging her since we were kids.” Jay comments.
Heeseung goes quiet. Should he give up? He reminisces about the time he first saw you, laughing with your friend, and the only thing he could think about was how pretty you look when you smile. He isn’t the type to hide how he feels and he thought you would be pleasantly surprised by how open he is about how he feels about you, but when you rejected him after he bought you your favorite drink, he was confused. He didn’t want to give up, though, because all he wanted was to be able to make you laugh just like when he first saw you.
“Jay’s right, the joke has gone on for long enough.” Jake adds.
Heeseung looks up at him, raising an eyebrow. “Joke? What are you talking about?”
Before Jake can answer, a girl walks up and takes a seat in one of the open chairs at the table. Everyone’s eyes go to her as she smiles.
“Hi,” she says shyly, “Heeseung, can I speak with you privately?”
“No, thanks.” he replies, continuing to eat his food.
Jake tries to suppress his laugh and Jay kicks him from under the table. Jake’s smile falls as he kicks Jay back.
“Don’t start something you can’t finish.” Jay warns.
“You started it.” Jake mumbles.
“Well, I was just wondering,” everyone looks back at the girl, momentarily forgetting she was even there, “if you would like to get coffee with me after school.” she says, moving some of her hair behind her ear.
“No, thanks.” Heeseung says in the same uninterested tone as before, not bothering to spare her another glance as he continues eating.
She sits there, a little taken aback as an awkward silence settles. Sunghoon clears his throat before taking another bite of his food. The girl stands up and walks away, not bothering to push back in the chair; Jay and Jake watch her as she leaves.
“She was cute, why did you say no?” Jake asks.
“We know why.” Jay says, drinking some of his water.
“You’ve been turning down every girl that asks you out for years, don’t you want to at least try and date someone?” Jake asks.
Heeseung groans and sets down his fork. “What’s the point? No one else is worth the time.”
-
“You all should have seen his face.” Yeonjun beams as you and your friend group continue roaming throughout the mall.
“So, it worked?” Minjeong questioned and you nodded your head happily.
“I didn’t see him for the rest of the day and he didn’t say anything else once Yeonjun left.” you replied happily.
“And there was nothing more than a kiss on the cheek?” Yunjin questioned.
“Of course.” Yeonjun says, kissing her quickly.
You and the others groan as they both just smile at each other.
“Oh!” Minjeong says, grabbing your hand. You look at her and then the store she was looking at, “They finally restocked the perfume I was telling you about.”
“I can’t afford that.”
She rolls her eyes, “You can’t, but I can, now come on.” she says, pulling you with her.
“I’d rather not be stuck with you two sickos, so I’m going to go with them.” Beomgyu states to Yunjin and Yeonjun before heading off to follow you and Minjeong.
Yeonjun grimaces and mocks Beomgyu as he walks off and Yunjin laughs.
As much as Heeseung would rather have gone home straight after classes than come to the mall to help Jake pick out a new keyboard, he came anyway due to his friend’s consistent pestering.
“You’re paying me back for gas money, I hope you know that.” Heeseung mumbles.
Jake scoffs, “You’re richer than I am, besides, friends carpool other friends.” Heeseung rolls his eyes as he and Jake make their way to the store. Heeseung opens his mouth to say something, but is caught off guard by loud giggling coming across from where he and Jake are. Both of them look in the direction of where the noise is coming from to see Yeonjun and Yunjin laughing, her hitting his shoulder playfully and him scattering kisses on her face. Heeseung stops dead in his tracks. Jake stops walking and looks between Heeseung and the couple. “What’s wrong?” he asks.
Heeseung could feel anger surging through his body. Isn’t that guy your boyfriend? Why was he so publicly flirting with this other girl? Is he cheating on you? Unknown to him, Heeseung was walking towards the two, blinded by rage. Jake tries to call after him, but it just sounded like static to Heeseung. Jake rushes to catch up to him, trying to figure out what he was going to do and why he was even doing something in the first place. Heeseung stands in front of Yeonjun, making both Yeonjun and Yunjin turn their attention towards him.
“Shit.” Yeonjun mumbles.
Heeseung didn’t have the patience to ask any questions, he knew he was right in the first place. This guy had some nerve to hurt you like this, so before anyone had another chance to say a word, Heeseung clenched his hand into a fist and punched Yeonjun in the face.
“What the hell!?” Yunjin exclaims, grabbing onto Yeonjun’s arm as he falls to the ground.
Heeseung didn’t pay any attention to the throbbing pain from his hand and raises his fist to punch him again, but Jake stops him. Yeonjun touches his face, blood dripping from his nose as he looks up at Heeseung, clenching his jaw in anger.
“You son of a b-”
“Don’t start with that, you’re the one cheating.”
Yunjin scoffs and stands up to slap Heeseung. “You have some nerve to punch my boyfriend, asshole.”
“What the hell is going on?” Beomgyu questions as you, him, and Minjeong come out from the store.
You look around to see the chaos that has ensued as well as people starting to crowd around all of you.
“This idiot punched my boyfriend because he thinks he’s cheating on you.” Yunjin says shooting you a glare as she helps Yeonjun off of the floor.
“You did what?” you turn to Heeseung.
“Isn’t he your boyfriend? Why aren’t you upset that he’s cheating on you?” Heeseung asks, confused and starting to feel the pain from his hand as the adrenaline and anger start to subside.
You open your mouth to say something, but Yunjin interrupts you. “Maybe because he isn’t actually her boyfriend.”
Heeseung looks between you and her, confused.
“Bu-”
“They only pretended to be dating because she wanted you to back off.” Yunjin seethed.
Heeseung wasn’t sure how to process all of this information, let alone, he wasn’t even sure if he was.
“Yunjin-” you try to apologize, but she pushes past you with Yeonjun. You try to grab her hand, but she pulls away and turns to you.
“It went too far.” she says, trying to control her temper before turning around to walk away with Yeonjun.
You turn to look at Minjeong and Beomgyu, but they both just look at each other awkwardly.
“We should probably go with them.” Beomgyu says.
Minjeong nods her head, agreeing, but before they both walk past you, she stops, “I’m sure if you try talking to her tomorrow, she’ll forgive you.”
You bite the inner part of your cheek as they walk away. The crowd starts to disperse, still earning a few questioning glances from those passing by. You glare at Heeseung and begin to walk away.
“Look, I didn’t-” he tries to explain, but you cut him off by turning around, now face-to-face with him.
Tears sting as they begin to brim your eyes. There are so many things you could say to him right now, so many things to yell, but for once you find yourself to be at a loss. He too, is also at a loss for words. Seeing you look at him this way, tears in your eyes, he feels so ashamed and embarrassed.
“Just leave me alone.” you say through shallow breaths, trying your hardest not to cry in front of him.
You knew to him this was all some sick joke, so you doubt he would actually listen to you, but you hoped there was some small part of him that would finally see you never found any of this to be funny and that he has finally taken it too far.
-
You have never dreaded walking to your class this morning more than you do at this very moment; you just don’t have the energy to put up with Heeseung now or even ever again. You tried texting Yunjin, but she never replied let alone even opened the messages. You were so wrapped up in your emotions you didn’t even realize you made it to your class in peace. Relieved was an understatement about how you were currently feeling, but you also felt oddly sick.
Although you didn’t want him bothering you, you couldn’t help but feel annoyed at the fact that he didn’t even try to apologize once while you were on your way to class. It was the least he could do, afterall. He pretty much destroyed your friendships with your closest friends and now that he’s had his fun, he no longer felt the need to keep up the act? The more you thought about it, the more angry you became. You knew you hated him before, but you’ve never been this furious with him, not even at his attempts to rub his wealth in your face by buying you things. No, this was a new low, even for him, but you keep trying to tell yourself you should’ve seen it coming.
-
“Oh hell no.” Yunjin mumbles before standing up from the steps she and the others were sitting on. Heeseung approaches cautiously as he feels their eyes burning into him with their intensive stares. “You really are a stalker, how did you even know what university I go to?” she asks, crossing her arms defensively.
“It’s in our high school yearbooks, everyone put where they were going.” he replied. Yunjin scowls, hoping he would get the idea and leave once and for all. “I came to apologize. I just-” he pauses, looking away while clenching his jaw before looking back at them. “I’m sorry I punched you.” he says to Yeonjun.
Yeonjun looks at him, unimpressed.
“You suck at apologizing.” Yunjin states.
“I thought he was cheating! I didn’t know-” he groans, becoming frustrated. He tries to calm down, running his hand through his hair before speaking again. “All I want to say is that I really am sorry, I was just trying to look out for your friend, okay? She deserves better and when I saw who I thought was her boyfriend kissing someone else, I just…handled things poorly.”
Yeonjun gets up to stand next to Yunjin, draping his arm around her shoulders. “I get it, you didn’t know.”
Yunjin scoffs, “You’ve officially taken this joke of yours too far, so stop acting like you care about her and just admit it already.”
“Why does everyone think I’m joking?” he asks, both frustrated and genuinely.
“Everyone in school knew you were joking. I thought you took it too far back when you bought her a pair of some new, expensive shoes.”
Is that really how everyone saw it? Is that really how you see it?
“I bought her the shoes because she had her old ones for years and had bandaids for the blisters she was clearly getting. I also bought her extra bandages, did you forget about that?”
Yunjin stops scowling, “So you aren’t just messing with her because she rejected you?”
“Of course not, I really care about her. I know I annoy her, but I never thought she would think I was doing all of this just to hurt her feelings.”
Yunjin stands there for a second, questioning whether or not she believes him.
“You’re right,” she starts, making eye contact with Heeseung, “she deserves the best.” It falls quiet again for a moment, mainly because Yunjin is wondering whether or not she wants to give him a chance to prove himself to you. “We’re going to meet at the club downtown around ten, if you really mean what you say, you should come.”
Heeseung stands there, stunned. Does this mean she believes him? Does this mean they all believe him? Does this mean you’ll believe him? As they walk away from the steps, they all look at him, but not the same way they did when he first came over; skeptical. They all looked at him like they wanted what he said to be true and tonight is the night he is going to prove it.
-
You walked into the club, anxious, yet grateful that Yunjin finally responded to one of your messages. You wanted tonight to be like any other night that you all hang out here, like everything was back to normal; like it was before the whole debacle with Heeseung at the mall. You made your way past the crowds of people through the darkly lit club, over to the booth you all usually sit at.
“Hey.” you say, trying not to sound awkward.
Yunjin sheepishly smiles, “Hey.” she says.
“Are you guys going to kiss and make up now?” Beomgyu asks, honestly over all of the drama.
Everyone laughs and Minjeong hands you your usual drink as you all make your way to the dance floor. From there, you move your body to the music, just wanting to let go of all the stress you’ve been under lately. Dancing along with your friends, having a good time, is all you care about at this very moment. You were enjoying yourself, feeling confident in the outfit you chose to wear paired along with the light buzz from the alcohol you were drinking. You closed your eyes as you soaked it all in; it felt like nothing could disrupt this feeling.
“Wow…” you hear someone say before they trail off.
You open your eyes and freeze. You know this voice a little all-too-well. Your grip on the glass you are holding in your hand becomes tighter as you slowly turn towards the person who was speaking. Your eyes lock with Heeseungs as he looks at you in awe. You look stunning and he felt like all of the air from his lungs had escaped the second he saw you; breathless. You walk closer to him, so he wouldn’t get any crazy ideas and try to do something else to your friends, but as you got closer to him you couldn’t help but think about how nice he smells. You shake the thought from your head as you look up at him, your eyes meeting once again.
All thoughts you previously had were now gone; he made your mind go blank. Have his eyes always been this pretty? No…what the hell are you thinking? Pull yourself together.
“Do you take nothing I say seriously?” you manage to blurt out.
He smiles, happy that you’re talking to him (and just because he’s happy to see you in general).
“For all the years you’ve known me, you should know better than anyone else that I can’t stay away from you.” he replies before smirking.
That smug attitude thankfully snapped you out of whatever weird thoughts you were having earlier and brought you back to reality: he’s a prick. You roll your eyes and push yourself past him as you head to the bar to return your glass. You set the glass down a little harsher than you anticipated and Heeseung follows you as you make your way out of the club. He calls after you, but you ignore him. Nothing is going to change, apparently. But as you’ve said to yourself before: you really shouldn’t be surprised.
Heeseung stops calling after you and instead catches up to you, grabbing your hand gently so you would stop walking away from him. You turn to face him, looking down at your hands for a split second, feeling a different kind of buzz result from it. You try to shake his hand away, but he doesn’t budge. You meet his eyes, feeling your heart begin to race. As much as you tried to stop, something was happening, and you were certainly not a huge fan.
“I spoke with your friends earlier and apologized.”
He did what? Wait…have you been hallucinating this whole time? That would explain why you suddenly feel this way because you know, not in any lifetime, would you possibly have feelings for Lee Heeseung.
“How?” is all you could manage to say.
Your mind was running a thousand miles a minute, not really in any shape to hold any kind of conversation, but especially not one with Heeseung.
“I made a mistake. I have a lot of things I want to apologize to you for.”
He spoke so gently and sweetly; it was like he was hypnotizing you. The streets were oddly quiet, not too many people, but you could still hear the music from the club. You found yourself staring at him in amazement. The fluorescent lights from the signs of stores nearby and the streetlights felt as though they were shining on the both of you, like you two were the only people who matter.
“What?” is all you can think to say.
“I’m sorry I’ve been bothering you to the point where you felt like you had no other choice but to lie.” he says, taking a step closer to you. “I’m sorry I made you and your friend fight.” he takes another step closer to you. You felt your breath hitch as your eyes traveled along his figure. Has he always looked this good in a black button up and black pants? It doesn’t help that his sleeves are rolled up to his elbows and you find yourself staring at his arms.
He waits for you. He waits for you while he clearly sees you checking him out and it’s turning him on. God, you look so beautiful and the way you are looking at him, slowly taking in everything about him as if you are seeing him for the first time makes him want to kiss you; it makes him want to do a lot more. When your eyes meet his again, he takes this as an opportunity to step closer to you, placing his other hand on your cheek, gently cupping your face. He wants to be gentle because you are one of the most precious things to him. He leans close to your face, each others’ breath scattering lightly along one anothers face.
“And I’m sorry,” he whispers as he rubs his thumb back and forth on your cheek, still looking into your eyes, “for making you feel like a joke.”
You feel yourself tense up. “Was it? All a joke…” you trail off, not necessarily sure what you want to happen next.
He continues looking into your eyes, never looking away because he wants you to know that he is being serious; that he means every word he says.
“Not for a second.” he replies.
You think back to everything he has done for you in a new perspective. How he would leave your favorite snack on your desk on test days, notes telling you how well you did after a presentation, volunteering to be your partner because he didn’t want you to feel alone or left out, buying you your favorite drink if you forgot to bring money for it, and asking you out to a restaurant that holds a special meaning to him and he only wants to share it with you.
You want to kiss him, but you find yourself pulling away instead. He looks at you, confused, as you separate yourself from him, letting go of his hand.
“I should get home. You know how early my morning class is.” you say while looking at the ground.
“Are you walking home? This late?”
You step back a little bit, finally looking back at him and you smile nervously. “I usually take the bus, but I think I missed the last one, so yeah, I guess I am.” you say kind of bunched together. Are you nervous?
“I can just drive you home.” he says, not really offering, more like telling.
You shake your head as your eyes shift to one of the cars in front of the club. You recognized it as his since he drives it to school everyday. A small, small part of you would love to ride in it, but you can walk home yourself (even if you also know it’s a bad idea).
“Yeah, I’m not letting you walk home alone this late.” he says, no longer wondering why you pulled away from him, but more concerned for your safety. He reaches for your hand and you let him take it, even if you keep telling yourself you shouldn’t. You both walk over to his car and he opens the door for you to get in. You look at him and he looks back at you, not intending on budging from his offer. You roll your eyes playfully as you get into the car. He closes the door and walks over to get into the driver's seat. He gets in and closes the door before starting his engine. You sit there, a little surprised you were even in his car in the first place. “You kind of need to put on your seatbelt.” he says, nodding his head towards the seatbelt that you left untouched.
You laugh nervously, but for some reason, you still don’t think to move to put it on. He sighs, smiling to himself at your cuteness, before leaning over to grab the seatbelt, slowly extending it over your body before clicking it into place. He looks at you, your faces inches apart, and you feel your breathing quicken once again. His heart begins to beat faster, but he can’t stop looking at you; you’re stunning. He manages to pull himself away, worried he might make you feel uncomfortable, before putting on his own seatbelt and putting the car in drive.
“Do you want to tell me how to get to your house?” he asks as he pulls out of the parking spot.
Your eyes widen. Right, your house. A house that--you assume--is nowhere near as nice as his house. What if once he sees just how different you two are he will stop liking you? What if he was lying before and this was his final cruel attempt to make fun of you? You shake your head.
“I would rather not tell you.”
He steps on the brake, turning his head to look at you.
“You…don’t want to tell me?”
You shake your head, hoping he’ll give up and let you out of the car. You hear him let out a tut, making you turn your head to look at him.
“Would you rather I take you to my place?” he asks, trying not to sound nervous.
Not particularly, you kind of already planned on going to bed once you got back home, but you stayed quiet, leaving him to answer his own question. He sighs, releasing his foot off the brake.
-
Heeseung pulls up to a gate that guards a huge house behind it. Your mouth falls a little agape as you look at it, thinking about how the driveway is the size of your own home. He puts in the code, opening the gate, and driving up the huge driveway. He parks the car and turns off the engine, unbuckling his seatbelt before looking at you.
“Do you need me to unbuckle it for you?” he asks while smirking.
You kind of want him to, but you opt for doing it yourself. You both get out of the car and he waits for you before he begins to lead the way. You can’t stop looking around as you two walk up the stairs leading to the (in your opinion) oversized doors, to which he opens and lets you walk in first. The house is even more luxurious on the inside than it is on the outside, which you honestly didn’t think could be possible. He shuts the door behind him and you both take off your shoes. You feel out of place, starting to feel insecure. The guy with all of this money to have this grand living room with a huge television, windows covering the walls and expensive furniture littered everywhere claims to like you? And has for years? You were starting to find it hard to believe again.
“I hope this is okay.” he says, breaking the silence.
You weren’t sure what he meant, but you assume he’s hoping it’s okay that he brought you here. He starts heading for the staircase and you follow behind, still taking in your surroundings. He leads you to his room, and you decide to stand by the doorframe. To you, it doesn’t seem like the downstairs even needs a living room since he already has a couch and t.v. in his room along with a big bed laying on a platform and more windows for walls. A beep is heard and the curtains for his windows start automatically covering them and the two lamps on his bedside tables turn on. He looks back at you, smiling at your expression that he finds to be adorable.
“You can come in, you know.” he says as he rummages through some drawers.
You hesitantly walk into his room, somehow just noticing how nice it smells, and find the confidence to walk up the few steps to his bed to take a seat. You turn your head to look around some more and Heeseung looks up, stopping what he is doing upon seeing you on his bed. You are on his bed. Is he dreaming? He honestly never thought this day would come and he clears his throat to try and calm his nerves, making you look at him.
“What are you doing?” you finally ask.
He grabs what he came in for and walks over to you holding out the clothes he picked himself.
“The guest rooms don’t have any clothes in them, so you can borrow mine.”
Did he just say “rooms” as in plural, like multiple?
“Right, naturally.” you tease.
He smiles and you stand to grab the clothes from him. You hold them as you look up at him, once again meeting his eyes. That feeling starts to form again, the one where you don’t want to stop looking at him and certainly don’t want him to stop looking at you.
“I forgive you.” you whisper.
He looks confused for a second before he understands what you mean. He smiles.
“You don’t know how happy I am to hear that.”
You aren’t sure if it’s the atmosphere, the way he smells, the way he’s looking at you, or all three combined, but before you can even process what you are doing, you are tossing the clothes he handed you onto the floor and pulling him by the collar to kiss you.
Holy. Shit. You’re kissing him. You’re kissing him. One of your hands moves to hold the side of his neck while the other moves to the back of his hair as you start running your fingers through it, gripping it here and there. He moves his hands to hold your waist, squeezing them lightly from anticipation, as he kisses you back. He gains more confidence, pulling you as closely as possible to him, as he deepens the kiss. He is desperate for you, he is desperate to show you how he feels. He lifts you up and your legs wrap around his waist, him carefully carrying you and placing you onto his bed. He lays you down as you two continue to kiss, him pulling away from your lips and beginning to leave a trail of light, breathy, kisses from your jaw down to your collarbone. Your chest raises from the deep breath you take and he swears he is going to lose his mind from looking at you in your current state. The state he is currently leaving you in.
His hands roam your body, wanting to feel every inch of you.
“Heeseung…” you say breathlessly, practically sending him over the edge.
He can feel his erection growing and you saying his name like that makes his cock ache harder. He pulls away from leaving hickeys along your chest, pulling you up by the waist so he can lift your dress off of you. He pulls it over your head and you help him, throwing the dress off to the side. He rests his forehead on yours, trying to calm his breathing and you begin to palm his erection. He whines, moving your hand away before laying you back down. His eyes scan your body, now realizing you were never wearing a bra. There you are, laying on his bed in nothing other than your underwear and he has to try and collect himself before he cums in his pants at just the mere sight of you. His right hand begins to travel up your leg, his fingers lightly running along your skin as he continues to look at you, look at every inch of you. His fingers travel past your hip up to your breasts where he cups one of them, earning a small gasp from you.
He bites the inner part of his cheek, trying to contain himself as he fondles your breast, playing with your nipple, watching how your face contorts in pleasure. He leans down to leave light kisses on your shoulder, looking at your face between each one, going down and stopping at your other breast before latching his mouth around your nipple. You bite your lip, one of your hands comes to grip his hair. He moans as he swirls his tongue around your nipple, occasionally flicking it. He felt drunk and so incredibly turned on. He stops fondling your other breast with his hand and lightly trails his fingers down to your underwear, sticking his hand inside. You gasp again, his fingers feeling a little cold as he runs them along your wet folds.
Fuck he was making you feel good and you let out a moan, making him smirk. He sticks a finger in, making you grip his hair a little harder, and so he sticks in two. You moan again and he pulls away from your breast to kiss you as his fingers pump in and out of you. You’ve become so wet that you start to cover his hand in your wetness, the sound of his hand coming in constant contact with your pussy starting to fill the room. You feel yourself become close and your mouth falls agape. He stops kissing you and pulls back as well as pulling his fingers out of you. You open your eyes, the dim lights suddenly being so bright as you try to process what is happening.
He brings his fingers to his lips, licking off your arousal from them. His eyes close as he inhales deeply, consumed by the taste of you.
“Please, Heeseung…” you start to plead.
He opens his eyes and figures he can’t leave you without what you want. So, in honor of a fair trade since he feels intoxicated by your taste, he takes off your underwear and throws your legs over his shoulders as he positions his face in front of your pussy. You swallow harshly as you feel his breath on you before he licks a stripe along your core, causing your eyes to roll back a little bit and your back arch at the sudden contact. His hands grip the sides of your thighs as he indulges in you, licking up every last drop of you before making his way to your clit and sucking on it.
“Fuck, Heeseung…” you moan out breathlessly.
He’s too consumed by your taste to notice and he pulls you more into his face. He moans into you, one of his hands leaving your thigh as he starts to finger you again. He hears you moaning and gasping, prompting him to open his eyes and look at you. Just the sight of you causes him to pick up his pace, his fingers rapidly going in and out of you and the more you moan, the more turned on he gets. You feel yourself become closer, gripping the sheets as you call out his name. That mixed with the taste of you on his tongue makes him moan. You taste so good, you look so beautiful, he feels like the luckiest man alive to have you call out his name. He sucks harder and pumps faster as he moans into you, cumming in his pants.
Your head falls deeper into the pillow you were laying on as you release yourself all over his fingers, mouth, and face. His movements begin to slow down as he calms down from his high and he pulls away, seeing your legs shaking a bit. He sits back, taking your legs off of his shoulders and you look at him. His face is flushed and shiny because of your cum, which he didn’t mind. He licked his fingers again, trying to catch his breath afterwards and you find the energy to sit up.
You pull him in for a kiss and his hands land on your ass, squeezing it. You moan and reach your slightly shaky hands up to the buttons on his shirt, unbuttoning them. You pull away as you take the shirt off of him, throwing it to the side. This time, you leave a trail of kisses from his jaw to his neck, his mouth falling agape from pleasure. He was becoming hard again and so you started to undo his belt as well as the button and zipper on his pants. You can hear him let out shallow breaths, and he pulls you back to kiss him on the lips. You kiss each other with so much need, and as you start taking off his pants, he pulls away to take them off himself.
You watch as he does, seeing his bulge through his underwear along with the cum stain from earlier. You smirk, which makes him feel a little shy.
“Come here.” you say, your eyes flicking back to meet his.
He listens, and you move each other so he is now the one laying back as you sit between his legs. He swallows harshly, completely turned on by the sight of your bare self looking at him in such a sinful way. Fuck, he wants you to ruin him. You keep eye contact with him as you lightly grab the edge of his boxers. His breath hitches as he becomes increasingly more nervous and he bites his lip as you run your pointer finger over his v-line. You smirk, slowly pulling his boxers off of him and finally letting his aching cock free. You cast aside his boxers, lightly running your fingers along his length, making him let out little moans, trying to decide what you want to do next. Seeing him like this, you decide you can’t wait any longer, so you position yourself over his cock, one hand holding onto his shoulder as the other guides it into your cunt.
You both throw your heads back as you let out a moan in unison. You slowly sank onto his length and he watched in awe. He couldn’t believe this was actually happening and when you finally settled fully onto his cock, his mind felt fuzzy. You felt so fucking good and here you were, riding his dick with hickies all over your chest and neck made by him. Consumed by his thoughts, he gripped your hips a little bit harsher as he let out a stifled breath. You look at him, wondering what was happening, but feeling his cock twitch inside of you and him letting out a string of moans and apologies answered your question quickly as he came inside of you.
His breathing settled after his release and he looks at you, eyes a little hazy, but full of pleasure; he looked so fucked out.
“I’m so sorry.” he half whispers and half exclaims.
He really meant it and to be honest, he was kind of embarrassed. You shake your head.
“Don’t be,” you say, starting to rock your hips, causing his eyes to roll back in pleasure, “it was hot.” You pick up your speed and call out his name from how good he is making you feel. “Shit…” you whine as you start to lose momentum from the pleasure. He notices and adjusts himself so he is laying a little bit lower to which he slings his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. You let out a small yelp as he hoists his hips up, thrusting into you, fast and deep. “Fuck…” you call out into his ear, making him pick up his pace.
Moans mixed with the sound of his cock rutting into you fills the room and you grip the sheets as you feel yourself clench around him.
“Fuck-” Heeseung starts, but is cut off by his own moans from being close to his climax.
He thrusts into you faster and you clench around him harsher, your legs shaking as you cum all over his dick. He grips your waist harsher and clenches his jaw, breathy moans still escaping through his teeth as he cums–once again–inside of you. He does a few more thrusts to ride out his high before pulling out of your throbbing cunt. You both lay there for a moment, you still on top of him, trying to catch your breath.
“So…” Heeseung starts. You lift your head slightly to look him in the eyes and he smiles sheepishly, “does this mean you’ll go on that date with me?” he asks, hopeful.
You roll your eyes, “God, you’re annoying.” you say before smiling.

LEE HEESEUNG !
— his gaming pc
you were over at enha’s dorm since you were spending a few day’s there.
you and heeseung were currently in the living room, while he played with niki and jake on the tv and you were sitting besides him scrolling through your phone.
you have been like that for a while and you started getting bored and since you didn’t wanna disturb the game you tried to think of something to do.
something came to your mind and you asked something that seemed to shock the other guys.
“hee, can i play for a little bit on your pc?”
“yeah of course angel!”
jake and niki turned their heads to you, their eyes widening.
“...what?” you asked, looking at them.
“i literally asked heeseung to play league on his pc yesterday and he almost ripped my head off.” niki told you making you smile.
“yeah, because you’re not her.” heeseung said, rolling his eyes.
“girlfriend privilege is real after all.” jake
PARK JONGSEONG !
— his clothes
all the guys planned a dinner where they all took their partners.
so you and jay were now walking down the street towards the restaurant they had booked a table.
“i think this is it.” jay said, opening the door for you.
“ladies first!” he said acting like a gentleman making you laugh and playfully rolling your eyes at his silliness.
as you entered you spotted the boys and started walking towards them, sitting on the two seats that were left.
“you’re late. again.” jungwon told you guys, making you wince.
“yep, sorry bout that, won.” you told the younger boy smiling at him apologetically.
“wait a minute…” heeseung started. all people at the table looked at him.
“is that… jay’s prada jacket?”
“um… yeah?” you said confused at his puzzled expression. heeseung playfully scoffed.
“oh my god, heeseung. don't even start.” jay said and you looked at him not understanding.
“so you let your girlfriend borrow it but not your dear bandmate? unbelievable!" you started laughing at heeseung.
“yeah but she’s my girl and you, thankfully, are not.”
“word!”
SIM JAEYUN !
— layla
ok obviously you can’t borrow an animal but you’ll see what i mean.
you woke up this morning and saw the weather was sunny and warm so an idea popped in your mind.
you texted jake and asked if you could take layla on a walk, to which he agreed right away.
he trusted you with layla alone and that meant a lot to you.
you went to pick her up at his house while he was at practice and started walking without a destination in mind.
you decided to go to han river and stay there for a while with her and watch as she played with other dogs.
you picked up her toy ball and started playing with her.
“layla, catch!” you threw the ball watching and she ran following it and jumping to catch it. you smiled at the view, enjoying the sunny weather and flowery scenery, picking up your phone to take a picture of the wholesome moment.
when the sun started to set, you decided to take her back to jake’s house, knowing he was there along with jungwon.
arriving at his house you rang the bell wrong for him to answer.
“hey, baby.” jake said, greeting you with a long peck, making layla bark.
you unleashed layla and got in, going to the kitchen where the boys were.
jungwon looked at you with layla by your side, you smiled and greeted him.
“were you with layla today?” he asked, raising a brow.
“yeah, why? went on a walk with her.” you said petting her head.
“i can’t believe you jake. i feel so betrayed.” jungwon said dramatically.
“what? i’m not catching.” jake said, confused.
“i literally asked you two days ago if i could take layla on a play date with maeum and you refused and almost blocked my number.” jungwon said, making jake shrug.
“it’s not fair! we are bros!” jungwon said.
“and she’s my girlfriend.” jake said and went to do something else in his room.
jungwon looked at you and you just shrugged apologetically.
PARK SUNGHOON !
— his jewelry
sunghoon and you were just hanging out in his room at the dorm talking about random things.
jay came into the room and you both looked at him.
“hey sunghoon, you know that dior ring you bought back in LA?”
“yeah, what about it?” sunghoon said, sitting up in the bed, already annoyed at him for ruining your precious time.
“ i was wondering if you could maybe let me borrow it for today’s dinner?” jay said, giving him a toothy smile and attempting to give him puppy eyes.
“yeah, no.”
“why not?”
“because… um no.”
“oh come on, just this once, hoon.” jay said, begging him, making you hold back your laugh.
“i said no, jay.”
“give me a valid reason then.”
“y/n’s already gonna wear it for the dinner.” sunghoon said and you stopped smiling, turning your head to him with a confused expression, making him kick you under the blankets.
“sorry jay, i already claimed it.” you told him, smiling at him with a pitiful look.
jay rolled his eyes and turned to go away.
“whatever.”
“sunghoon, why did you do that?” you said, hitting his arm, scolding him.
“i have my priorities straight, princess.” sunghoon told you, smirking at you while you rolled your eyes, but still smiled.
KIM SUNOO !
— his skin care products
you and sunoo were having your weekly sleepover and you just finished taking a shower together.
you put on your matching pajama sets and sunoo went into the kitchen to grab some snacks while you started doing your skin care routine using sunoo’s products.
before starting, you grabbed sunoo’s small speaker and connected it to your phone playing a random playlist.
you put on a headband sunoo had gifted you with bunny ears, using it to keep all the hairs away from your face.
you started your routine doing all the steps carefully, making sure to not use too much product since they were your boyfriend’s.
as you were moisturizing your face, sunghoon came into the room.
“ hey have you seen sun- what are you doing?” sunghoon said, looking at you with wide eyes as if you were gonna die.
“im… doing my skin care?” you told him with a puzzled expression, starting to get worried you did something wrong.
“you know what happens when you touch sunoo’s skin care right?”
“i mean i’ve always used it since I come over often.” as you said that sunoo came into the room.
“sunghoon stop being jealous that i let my girlfriend use my forbidden possessions.” sunoo said, patting the older boy on the back.
“you almost punch us when we come close to touching your products, but she can do it?” sunghoon said, putting his hand on his chest, faking betrayal.
“go away before i break your pretty nose, please.”
sunghoon sighed and went away.
“what was that?” you asked sunoo laughing at what just happened.
“you would never understand.”
YANG JUNGWON !
— his phone
you were at the boys dorm and you were all hanging out in the living room, just talking and playing around with each other.
the boys were just talking about random things that happened while they were away for tour, telling all the funny stories, making everyone laugh.
“i need to go to the bathroom.” jungwon said, getting up to leave.
“then there was this time where niki was doing a really funny impression of jay. it was so accurate.” jake said, making everyone laugh as they remembered the moment.
“i think jungwon recorded it on his phone, not sure tho.” heeseung said, making you get up and grabbing jungwon’s phone that was sitting in the table.
“i can check it here quickly.” as you said that, everyone suddenly went quiet and started looking at you shocked.
you unlocked jungwon’s phone and went through his gallery.
“wha. how did you even-” jay said, not believing what he saw.
“what?” you said looking at them and seeing their faces.
“you know his password. no, wait, you can pick up his phone?”
“yeah? why couldn't i?" you asked them, confusion covering your face.
“because won never let’s anyone touch his phone, let alone go through his gallery.” heeseung explained but you still didn’t understand.
“does he? i mean he even put my face recognition on his phone and asks me to send anyone texts, so i don’t think there’s a problem?” you told them trying to take away their confusion.
“oh god, i can’t- i mean it was kinda predictable.” jake said, not as surprised as before.
jungwon came back and saw everyone silent and looking at you.
“did i miss anything?” he asked, getting as confused as everyone.
“no, not really.” heeseung said. “just thought no one could touch your phone.”
jungwon looked at you and saw you with his phone.
“yeah, you can’t, she can, not a big deal.” he said sitting back next to you, as everyone scoffed and rolled their eyes.
“anyways jungwon.”
NISHIMURA RIKI !
— his choreographies
niki called you today, telling you he had something he had to show you at the dance studio, so you were heading to hybe’s building.
you got in and greeted the receptionist that was already familiar to you, so she let you up.
“he’s at the studio on the 5th floor.” she informed you, smiling tightly at you as you silently thanked her while bowing.
you went on the elevator and clicked the button to the 5th floor.
the ride was familiar, since niki always showed you and only you the choreographies he was working on, trusting your feedback the most, even if you didn’t understand anything about dancing.
you walked the corridor, greeting staff you were already familiar with.
you reached the dance studio and opened the door, hearing music loudly blasting from the speakers, which just meant he was dancing and working on the choreography.
you quietly entered the room, trying not to bother him.
you put your things down and sat on the floor, watching niki, as he performed the moves smoothly.
you loved watching dance niki, you thought nobody did it like he did. it was visible how passionate he was while dancing, specially if he was dancing something he created himself.
the song ended and you started clapping and he finally noticed you, running to you with open arms. you got up and embraced him, pecking his lips, letting yours linger for a while.
“you were doing so well, baby.” you told him with a proud smile, making his cheeks get a soft pink tint. he hides his face in your neck, mumbling a small thank you.
he pulled away and looked at you in the eyes.
“you know i only show you my choreographies. not even the boys know about them until they are finished. i trust you that much.” you smiled at him pecking his cheeks, feeling butterflies in your tummy and your heart doing flips.
“i know, riki. thank you for trusting me. i love you.”
“ i love you too, angel.”

like he prefers you to talk to other guys when he's around
so he can keep a hand on your waist yk 👀
also DEFINITELY would kiss your neck if he sees a guy staring at you for a second too long
fully owns up to being jealous
like most people are in denial about it but not him..

the type to lean over ur shoulder to look at what’s making you laugh on your phone
ngl i can see him being a pouter, a small pour but it’s still there
this man just really wants you to himself
gets really physical and touchy when the other person leaves
takes off his sweater and puts in on you to cover you up, doesn’t want anyone else to see you type stuff
acts all tough in public but………

twelve.
warning; 😳 1.3k words. masterlist.
if you thought wooyoung was popular, well tonight’s party proved to you just how popular he really was.
the entire beach house was packed by the time it hit 10pm, hundreds of people gathered here to celebrate the man’s birthday. so many popular faces you recognise from around campus but of course the most popular guest of all was lee heeseung.
you’ve seen him here and there since the shirt-drenching incident earlier, the man very busy with the beautiful female crowd somewhere in the living room since then. every time you looked, he had a different girl but really, you expected nothing less.
while you being you, was already tired two hours into the party, wanting nothing more than to run away to the comfort of your designated room upstairs.
“girlie you look so pretty tonight!” eunji drapes her arm over your shoulders, the girl obviously not sober anymore, “too bad yeonjun couldn’t make it tonight huh?”
you know eunji wanted you to look good but her choice of outfit for you was really out there, barely covering anything it was supposed to. it definitely made you feel pretty though.
“too much talking and not enough drinking my pretty ladies!” wooyoung suddenly appears beside you, in his hand three red cups full to the brim, “bottoms up for the birthday boy!”
you down the entire cup for the boy, your fourth one actually and it was all starting to creep up on your very lightweight ass.
“now for shots!”
you internally gulp at the sight of wooyoung pouring a line of 9 shots on the kitchen bench, knowing damn well you couldn’t handle one right now let alone three. you were about to come up with an excuse when lo and behold, heeseung arrives... to your rescue.
for the second time today.
“did the birthday boy forget about me already?” heeseung playfully knocks into wooyoung, the two joking around before downing four shots each in a blink of an eye. leaving just one shot for dear eunji and thankfully, none for you.
you make a run for it when they’re all busy chatting, the massive bed upstairs immediately welcoming you in, your entire body and throbbing head finally able to relax. only for half an hour though because your nap is unfortunately interrupted by a sudden knock on the door.
“hee- heeseung?”
it’s hard to miss the way he’s kind of slouching at your door, eyes blinking at a much slower pace. like he can’t keep focus at all.
he stares at you for a second, the man looking hesitant before continuing, “i need to hide from wooyoung.”
that’s all you needed to hear to understand. wooyoung had been drowning everyone in his path with alcohol the entire night, literally, so you didn’t blame heeseung for wanting to hide.
it’s obvious that he had drank a fuck ton more since you last saw him downstairs, his cheeks now slightly red like the red in his eyes. he was definitely not very far off from blacking out.
“uh- yeah of course come inside.”
he makes himself comfortable on the small couch while you’re left slightly nervous at his very sudden presence in your room. you were now completely alone with heeseung, something you were praying wouldn’t happen tonight...
and something very dangerous with how tipsy you both currently were.
“are you... okay?” you slowly approach him, your own damn mind barely able to keep focus with all the alcohol running through you. you weren’t exactly drunk either but it’s coming. “want me to grab you anything?”
“just needed to rest a bit but the other rooms were occupied. sorry.”
“n- no it’s fine heeseung. just rest.”
he gives you a nod of acknowledgement and closes his eyes to do as told. it’s weird, to say the very least, having to act like strangers after being in such an intimate relationship for months.
you would’ve liked to say that you were over it, having ended things weeks ago. you really tried but you’re not. evident with how you’ve been feeling after seeing him again today.
you weren’t in love with him, but you definitely liked him more than you should’ve. and the fucked up thing is that you might actually still do.
“are you okay?” his voice breaks your thoughts, just to see him staring at you now, “you’re just standing there.”
“ye- yeah i’m fine,” you take steps closer to him without knowing it, your knees now almost touching, “thanks... for the four shots earlier.”
“you mean seven.”
“what! wooyoung is insane! how is he alive??”
you both fall into a fit of laughter, the light atmosphere makes you nostalgic of older times. yes it was toxic but there were times when you and him simply enjoyed each other’s company, being in each other’s hold, laughing away at stupid things. you fell for that heeseung but now you question if that was even the real him or not.
“sit down. you don’t look well.”
“yeah...” you awkwardly chuckle, “drank a bit too much as you can see.”
you’re not sure why you can’t seem to take your eyes off him. it had been this way since he got here and more obvious during the party, where you found yourself randomly scanning the room for him. it was unintentional but you kept doing it.
and now he’s sitting right there, staring up at you with that gaze you knew so well. the one that tells you he wants you, right at this moment.
taking a deep breath, you decide it’d be best to leave before something unwanted happens. so you do what you must, turning away so fast that you immediately lose balance and brace for the dramatic fall.
the fall does come, but not in the way you expected.
someone’s arms are suddenly around you, hugging you tightly against their chest as you both fall onto the ground. thankfully he spins you just in time to prevent any injuries to the face but at this point, you’d rather get knocked out cold on the ground than be in such an unnecessary situation with lee heeseung.
you’re now both on the floor with you in his embrace, your face buried in his chest. as if you weren’t intoxicated enough, the mixture of his familiar cologne and all the drinks he had tonight were only making it worst for your head.
“i think you’re drunk.”
his words make you move away from his chest, eyes finally meeting his, “honestly i think so too heeseung.”
laughter fills the room again, the two of you too in the moment to mind the specific position you’re both in right now. until one wrong movement causes him to lean in a tad closer, your faces now barely a breath apart.
well shit.
everything that happened today seemed like some sort of test given specifically to you. to see if you’d crack. to see if you’d go back to old ways. as if seeing him topless wasn’t bad enough, you’re now literally trapped under the man with his eyes focused on you and his lips seemingly waiting...
waiting to be kissed.
“heeseung-”
“you look so beautiful tonight...” he interrupts you, words kind of slurring as his hand moves away the loose hair on your face, “my heart is going crazy.”
his words could’ve been a result from how drunk he was and you supposed your actions could also be from how drunk you were.
because now you’re kissing him. his lips feel exactly how you remembered them to be, so soft and so plump.
and so damn desperate for yours.
end.

HEESEUNG COULDN’T EXACTLY PINPOINT THE EXACT MOMENT THE TWO OF YOU BECAME ENEMIES.
To him, it didn’t really matter. He didn’t even really see you as an enemy to begin with, you were just an extremely easy target, making it almost too easy for him to annoy - sometimes even humiliate you throughout the years; something he enjoyed doing maybe a little too much.
You, on the other hand? You knew exactly when Heeseung became your number one enemy.
You’d like to think that if Heeseung never slipped you that note in math class back in middle school, maybe you and Heeseung wouldn’t be where you were today. But sadly, Heeseung did slip you that note in math class and twelve-year-old you stupidly opened that note.
Maybe if you just threw that note away instead of reading it, you wouldn’t have to go through years of enduring Lee Heeseungs stupid ways of ticking you off. Maybe, just maybe, you would have avoided the incident that changed your and Heeseungs relationship for all eternity. But you were twelve years old, after all, and which twelve-year-old wouldn’t become curious if the cutest boy in their class slipped them a note?
Well, curiosity killed the cat. It didn’t make sense as to why the whole class was looking at you in anticipation, nor did it make sense as to why Lee Heeseung had just slipped you a note asking you to go out with him. He had never paid much attention to you before, so why would he suddenly be asking you, someone who he’d spoken to about three times in total, out?
Oh, how you wished it would’ve stayed that way.
The picture of his stupid grin as you walked up to him after class was practically burned into your mind at this point, holding the note in your hands as you told him your answer. Of course you said yes, who wouldn’t?
And as his loud laugh, the laugh you swore made your stomach turn inside out, echoed through the hallway, pointing his finger at you with his friends laughing alongside him; Lee Heeseung became your number one enemy.
Your classmates got over the whole thing quickly, only having to endure a couple of days of their endless teasing about you actually believing he was serious when he asked you out. Middle school was hectic, and by the following Monday morning, the whole school had long forgotten about your embarrassment. Heeseung, however? He was not going to forget about it that easily.
The look on your face as he told you it was just a joke was something Heeseung would remember for the rest of his life. The way your ears turned red from sheer embarrassment and how you quickly ran off with your hair covering your face, was most definitely the funniest thing 12-year-old him had experienced; not even Sunghoon tripping on his own shoelaces during soccer practice could beat the look on your face.
That’s when Heeseung made it his number one goal in life to make your life as miserable as possible.
And he most certainly did not disappoint. From shaking your bottle of coke during lunch without you noticing it only for you to get sprayed the second you twisted the lid open, to accidentally tripping you in the hallways; he did all of it, just to see the furious expression on your face.
As high school came around, you couldn’t be more relieved. After having to put up with Heeseung for years on end, you would finally be free; a completely new school, with new friends, new teachers, and most importantly, no Heeseung.
But as you walked through the doors of what you had pictured as heaven, a place where you could finally breathe without having to look behind your shoulder every step you took; your whole world came crumbling down and so did your dreams of having a peaceful high school experience.
With his stupid grin and his hands shoved down the pockets of his jeans, Lee Heeseung stared at you as you walked through the doors; the sparkle in his stupid doe eyes telling you everything you needed to know. At that moment, it became clear to you that getting rid of Heeseung wouldn’t be as easy as you had originally thought.
Not only did you have to endure another four years of Heeseung endless torment, but the boy also had decided to step it up compared to his childish middle school tactics. You were now in high school, and tripping you in the hallways no longer sounded appealing to Heeseung. So with his newfound status as a popular high school boy, he decided to do what people with that kind of status do best; spreading rumors.
As the news reached everyone else, it also eventually reached you. The news got everyone whispering as you walked down the halls, small giggles leaving the girls' lips and boys rolling their eyes as you walked by; leaving you completely clueless.
Until the amazing news of you being all over Heeseung at a party he attended the weekend before, a party you never even sat foot in; a party you didn’t even know existed reached you that being said. You had been quick to storm off, looking for the culprit himself, only for him to laugh in your face as you approached him. Apparently seeing the furious look on your face was amusing to him, like he hadn’t just ruined your entire high school experience. ‘’What? I’m not going to hook up with you if that’s why you’re here, I thought I made that clear at the party.’’ Had been his exact words, that shit-eating grin accompanying his words as he spoke.
For the entire four years, the four years that were supposed to be the prime time of your youth, that one rumor haunted you. All thanks to Lee Heeseung, your teenage fantasy came crashing down two weeks into your freshman year; no one forgot about the fact that 16-year-old you had tried getting in someone's pants the second you entered high school, not even four years later when the 18-year-old you graduated.
So when you entered college, you knew better than to expect a peaceful college experience. In some way, you were thankful you had mentally prepared yourself for Lee Heeseung to magically appear. Because if you hadn’t, you probably would’ve gone insane the moment you realized that Lee Heeseung would as a matter of fact be attending the very same college as you.
Something you however forgot to prepare yourself for, the most important thing to every boy attending college; what they would personally describe as the prime of their youth - fraternities.
Now, the fraternities itself wasn’t really the problem.
Sure, you never found it very appealing, not really understanding the thrill of living with a bunch of other men which you would call your brothers and using the precious fratboy term as an excuse for their shitty grades. Everything for the brotherhood, right?
But no, that still wasn’t the problem. The problem?
Lee Heeseung. More specifically, Lee Heeseung joining a fraternity.
With his tall figure and the doe eyes that every girl seemed to love, it wasn’t exactly hard for Heeseung to join a fraternity, any fraternity as a matter of fact. The fraternities wanted Heeseung more than Heeseung wanted them it seemed, while the other boys had to fight for their lives to prove themselves worthy, to even get to the recruitment part - Heeseung had every single fraternity in his Instagram DMs; practically begging him to join them.
And so he did.
Overnight, Heeseung went from the cute, lanky popular high school boy to your typical frat boy. He was still the very same Heeseung, he still wore the same grin as he walked down the hallways and he still wore the same dangly earring in his left ear; the same earring he had worn every day ever since he was a freshman in high school. Most importantly, however, was the fact that he was still the very same jerk, just worse. Much worse.
You guessed that it was the frat boy status that got to his head, when the attention he already received during his high school years almost tripled. Maybe it was all thanks to the number of people that showed up to the parties Heeseung and his stupid fraternity threw.
Which brings you to your current situation, sitting on a couch in someone's living room with loud music blasting through the room - a red cup in one of your hands and a very drunk girl hanging off your other arm. You had stopped listening to the girl rambling a long time ago, tuning out her voice as you sipped on the alcoholic beverage you had grabbed from some random kid standing in the kitchen.
You had no idea who the drunk girl sitting beside you was, nor did you know how much she had had to drink. But judging from the way she had practically tripped on nothing but air and from the way she had giggled with her eyes half shut when she apologized, she definitely had one too many drinks that night.
Not only had she clung onto your arm like the two of you had known each other for years, like you were a friend she hadn’t seen in a long time - when in reality, you had never even seen her before; but she also decided to go on a long rant. What the rant was about, however, was something you could not answer.
You were already uncomfortable as it was, being dragged to a party against your own will. Not necessarily because you didn’t feel like going to a party, no, that wasn’t the case.
You enjoyed partying. It was fun and you usually had a blast, as long as there was no one around to ruin your night. That special someone being no other than Lee Heeseung, of course. And with tonight's party being hosted by no other than Lee Heeseung and his stupid fraternity, you just couldn't bring yourself to enjoy it.
How could you, when Heeseung was lingering right around the corner, ready to ruin your whole night with a simple grin?
And an incredibly drunk girl telling you her whole life story only made the party even less appetizing. ‘’But I just don’t know how to get his attention, like why is he after my best friend and not me?’’ The girl whined beside you, causing you to hum in response; pretending like you were actually listening to anything she was saying as you scanned the room, looking for a way out of the situation you currently found yourself in.
‘’Do you have any tips for me? To like, get his attention or something’’
‘’Get who’s attention?’’
You immediately realized what you had just said, your eyes widening as your gaze shifted over to the girl now leaning on your shoulder. You practically just gave it away that you hadn’t been listening to a single word that had left her lips for the past thirty minutes.
She just stared at you for a moment with her eyebrows furrowed together, her eyelids still heavy before a giggle left her lips. ‘’Heeseung, stupid! I’ve been talking about him the entire night, were you not listening to me?’’
An uncomfortable chuckle left your lips as you shifted your gaze away from the girl once again as she playfully hit your arm. ‘’No, I have,’’ You tried defending yourself. ‘’I just forgot his name and needed you to remind me.’’
You almost laughed at your own lie as soon as it left your lips. Like you needed any reminding of who Lee Heeseung was. The girl beside you, however, seemed to believe your lie as yet another giggle trailed off her lips. ‘’Don’t be silly, I know you know who he is!’’
Her words caused you to once again look her way, now it was your turn to furrow your eyebrows in confusion. She just looked up at you with a grin spread across her lips, still holding onto your arm. ‘’What do you mean?’’ You asked. There was no way this random girl knew that you had known Heeseung almost your entire life, considering the fact that you only met her for the first time tonight. ‘’Well,’’ She sighed, finally letting go of your arm as she sat up straight for the first time since she slumped down next to you.
‘’I know you hooked up with him back in high school or whatever,’’
Your jaw almost hit the floor as soon as the words left her lips. When did the rumor of you allegedly trying to hook up with him turn into you actually hooking up with him? ‘’I what?’’ You almost stuttered as you spoke, the shock causing you to stumble over your own words. She nodded eagerly, the same grin still plastered on her lips. ‘’C’mon, it’s not like it’s a secret! Everyone knows you were like, one of the first girls he ever hooked up with,’’
You almost felt the need to pinch yourself, trying to figure out if this was some sick joke or not. One of the first girls he hooked up with? ‘’No, I never h-’’
‘’You don’t have to act like you didn’t, I mean, look at him! Who wouldn’t want to hook up with him?’’ She interrupted you before you even had a chance to deny the words coming out of her mouth, a sigh trailing off her lips as she finished speaking; her head hitting your shoulder once again. ‘’Isn’t he just so dreamy?’’
With one of her arms now extended, her index finger pointed toward something, or someone in the crowd. Your eyes followed her finger, your eyes eventually landing on the one and only, Heeseung himself.
Leaning against the wall, one hand shoved down the front pockets of his black jeans and a cap sitting on top of his head; his upper body leaning down as he spoke to the girl standing right in front of him. You could see him grinning as he whispered something into the girl's ear, the grin you swore you hated more than anything on the entire planet, causing you to clench your jaw in disgust the second he trailed his fingertips up and down the poor girl's bare arm, the girl you assumed to be the drunk girl sitting beside you’s best friend.
Not only had he made people believe you tried hooking up with him, but apparently that the two of you actually hooked up. A sour taste filled your mouth as you saw the girl across the room giggle into his touch, his eyes glued to her like she was the most delicious thing he had ever seen.
The lustful look on his face only made you even angrier. Someone needed to humble him, and they needed to humble him badly. ‘’So do you have any tips or not? Since you’ve already been with him, you probably know what he likes and stu-’’
‘’He’s shit in bed.’’
The words slipped out of your mouth before you could even think, taking yourself by surprise. Instant regret hit you, fighting against the urge to slap yourself across the face as you realized what had just left your lips. You could tell by the way the girl suddenly sat up straight that your words surprised her just as much as they had surprised you. ‘’What?’’
You considered just laughing off, telling her you were just joking and that she should just go for it. But with your eyes still glued to Heeseung standing across the room with his hand now placed firmly on her waist, disgust once more filled your senses. That’s when the idea popped into year head. ‘’Yeah, like he’s really bad, he has no idea what he’s doing,’’ You continued speaking, looking over at the now shocked girl.
Her eyelids were no longer droopy like they had been a few minutes earlier, her eyes now wide open as she stared at you in pure shock. ‘’But,’’ She stuttered, almost like she refused to believe your words. ‘’Everyone says he’s like a sex god or something!’’ She blurted out. A dry chuckle left your lips as you shook your head. ‘’Heeseung? He’s the furthest thing possible from a sex god.’’
The girl sitting beside you only stared at you for a moment, her lips parted in shock before leaning back on the couch; mumbling something indistinctive under her breath. ‘’Are you sure? The two of you hooked up in high school after all, maybe he’s gotten better?’’
Your eyes darted over to the wall which Heeseung was leaning against once again, a small grin forming on your lips as you spotted him now pressing kisses against the girl's neck. ‘’We’ve hooked up in college too,’’ You let out. ‘’And he’s still just as bad.’’
If Heeseung got to ruin your reputation, not only in high school but apparently in college as well, it was only fair that you got to tear his reputation down as well. What could such a little lie possibly do to his indestructible reputation, anyways?
The girl beside you let out a gasp before slapping one of her hands over her mouth, her eyes darting over to Heeseung as well. ‘’But there’s just no way,’’ She mumbled, leaning forwards as she kept her eyes glued on the boy standing across the room. ‘’Like bad how, exactly?’’
‘’Like can’t make girls cum at all type of bad.’’
Another gasp left the girl's lips as you brought the red cup you had been holding in your hand this entire time to your lips, a small smile still plastered on your lips as you sipped on the alcohol. ‘’But everyone says he’s amazing,’’ She mumbled, her eyes gaze shifting over to you. Another chuckle left your lips as you shook your head in response. ‘’Well, that’s just what Heeseung wants everyone to believe,’’ You replied, leaning back on the couch.
‘’Have you ever heard another girl saying that he’s good?’’
Your eyes met the girl's eyes, silence falling upon the two of you for a moment as she thought about your question. You had no idea if she was just drunk and going with whatever you were saying or if she had actually never heard another girl saying that Lee Heeseung was in fact a sex god, but you had to hold back a laugh as she shook her head in disbelief. ‘’You’re right, I don’t think I have.’’
Was he really that bad?
‘’Exactly.’’ You chuckled. ‘’He just wants everyone to believe he’s some type of sex god, when in reality he doesn’t even know how to finger a girl.’’
In reality, you had no idea what Heeseung was like in bed. As a matter of fact, you didn’t even want to know; but you could sure as hell pretend like you knew. And in your head, his good looks were incredibly deceiving as there was actually no way Lee Heeseung knew how to satisfy a girl. Not with that foul mouth of his.
‘’Oh my god,’’ the girl mumbled under her breath, her eyes still wide from the sudden shock of having her whole image of the Lee Heeseung being ripped to pieces. ‘’I can’t let my best friend hook up with him then!’’ Her words made you chuckle as you looked over at Heeseung once again.
A small smirk formed on your lips as you watched the girl stumbling across the room, making her way towards where her best friend and Heeseung were standing; his head dipped in the crock of her neck. The girl grabbed her friend's arm, the way she practically ripped her away from Heeseung's grip almost made you laugh out loud as you watched Heeseung stare at the two walking away from him with a confused look plastered on his face.
Game over, Lee Heeseung.
Tumblr media
‘’You what?’’
The boy sitting in front of you almost choked on his drink as you told him what had gone down the previous weekend. ‘’I hope I ruined his chances of getting laid that night.’’ You chuckled as you shook your head, remembering the look on Heeseungs face as his potential hook up was ripped away from him.
‘’This isn’t about him getting laid or not Y/N, why would you even tell someone you hooked up with him in the first place? Like the rumor wasn’t bad as it was,’’ Sungchan exclaimed, his eyes wide as he stared at you. You just rolled your eyes in response, crossing both your arms over your chest.
Sungchan wasn’t wrong. He had been there with you in high school when Heeseung first started spreading the rumor of you being all over him at some party. Sungchan was also the only one who believed you when you said it wasn’t true, considering the fact that he had been with you the entire night you were supposedly at the party as Heeseung claimed you were.
‘’The girl was drunk, like out of her mind drunk. I don’t think she even remembers speaking to me.’’
The boy sitting across the table from you let out a sigh, shaking his head. ‘’It’s gonna bite you in the ass, I’m telling you.’’ He mumbled, raising both his eyebrows as he spoke. You just stared at him, shooting him a sarcastic smile. ‘’C’mon, you can’t deny that it was a good way of ruining his night though.’’
A chuckle left Sungchans lips as he leaned forwards, wrapping his fingers around the drink placed in front of him. ‘’I guess it was.’’ His words caused a grin to form on your lips, leaning forwards; wrapping your own hands over his which was still wrapped around the plastic bottle. ‘’Of course it was, otherwise I wouldn’t have done it smartass.’’
Sungchan chuckled as he spotted the playful grin on your face, pushing your hands off his own. ‘’Careful, you don’t want people thinking you’re trying to get me into bed as well.’’
You met Sungchan in biology class on the first day of your freshman year in high school. The Sungchan you met back then however, was nothing like the Sungchan sitting in front of you now.
The Sungchan you met back in high school was nothing but a quiet, introverted and awfully shy kid. You, however, were so excited to make new friends that you had practically forced yourself onto the poor boy as you got assigned to sit next to him in biology.
Looking back, you almost cringed whenever your mind flashed back to your first encounter with the boy. He had stared at you like you were crazy for talking to him, something you completely missed back then. You were just so excited to make new friends, someone who didn’t know you from middle school.
But no matter how cringe it was looking back at it, you were thankful you actually did speak to him. And you knew Sungchan was just as thankful. In a way, Sungchan had you to thank for turning him into the boy sitting in front of you today.
Only within the first couple of months of your blossoming friendship Sungchan went from the introverted and lanky high school kid to this new almost extroverted and cheerful kid. Not necessarily because you were the most extroverted kid ever, but mainly because the friendship the two of you shared was so genuine. It was his first time ever sharing that kind of friendship with someone, as well as your first time.
Rolling your eyes once again at his witty reference, you playfully hit his arm. ‘’In your wildest dreams.’’
Not only had your best friend dramatically changed in terms of personality, but lookswise as well. He was no longer that lanky, almost awkward looking boy he used to be, he was more mature looking now. Sure, he still had that boyish look to him, but it was nothing compared to what he used to look like.
His shoulder had gotten significantly broader and his jawline had gotten more defined as the years passed, and you almost even dared to call him handsome.
Or you knew he was. There was no dancing around it, he was attractive. And if it wasn’t because of the relationship the two of you shared, maybe you would’ve actually considered hooking up with him one day; if you weren’t best friends, that being said. But you were, and there was no way you’d ever even consider it.
You realized you had been staring at the boy sitting across from you for a little too long, snapping out of your wandering thoughts as you unlocked your phone laying on the table in front of you to check the time. ‘’I need to go, I need to use the bathroom before my next class starts.’’
Sungchan nodded in response, shooting the drink in front of him across the table, the plastic bottle grabbing your attention; a confused look plastered on your face it slid across the table. ‘’Take it, in case you get thirsty during class.’’
A small grin replaced the confused look on your face as you stood up, grabbing the already half-empty drink. ‘’Be careful, we don’t want people to think you’re in love with me or something.’’ You winked, causing Sungchan to roll his eyes as he pretend to gag. ‘’Don’t make me take it back,’’ he warned you, causing you to quickly shove it down your bag. ‘’See you after class, Chan!’’ You exclaimed, already walking away from the table; waving him goodbye with a smirk on your face, watching as he shook his head before going back to eating his food.
Tumblr media
With one earbud placed inside of your ear and the other hanging down your body, you walked through the hallways; music blasting through your headphones as you made your way toward the bathrooms.
The hallways were almost always empty at this time of the day, with every student busy eating their lunches. Lunchtime was always your favorite time of the day, mainly because you got to hang out with Sungchan but also because everything felt almost peaceful.
No one could've prepared you for how noisy college would be. You thought nothing could top the high school corridors, with a bunch of teenage boys yelling and fighting each other in the hallways and girls giggling while gossiping about something on their phones. You were fully convinced that college would be nothing like that, because when you enter college you’re no longer a kid. You’re grown, and the boys no longer fight in the hallways and the girls no longer stand huddled together against the lockers.
You were wrong.
Even though it was nothing like it was in high school, the boys no longer argued about football practice, and the girls no longer gossiped about the cute boys; in a way, maybe it was just like high school. But football got replaced by arguments consisting of when they should host their next frat party and the giggling about cute boys got replaced by gossiping about how the fratboys fucked their brains out.
Maybe college was just like high school after all. But that’s why you appreciated lunchtime, because the hallways felt awfully quiet for the first and only time during the day. Today, for example.
You couldn’t help but nod your head to the beat of the song blasting through your headphones, enjoying the peace and quiet as you walked down the empty hallway. That was until you heard distant arguing over your loud music, that being said.
Just as you were about to turn the corner, your steps came to a halt. Your eyebrows furrowed together as you slowly pulled your earbud out of your ear, lowering the volume as you tried to make out where the arguing came from; wanting to avoid bumping into a group of friends arguing, or even worse - a couple arguing.
That’s when you heard a familiar voice. The voice made you raise your eyebrows, your lips parting as you pressed your back against the lockers behind you; trying your best to hide yourself so the people arguing further down the hall wouldn’t notice your presence.
You listened intensely, trying your best to make out what the people were saying. But most of all, you were desperately trying to figure out whose familiar voice it was you were hearing. It was a voice you knew all too well, and the voice almost sent shivers down your spine, yet you just couldn’t figure out who it belonged to.
You know you shouldn’t look, you really shouldn’t. It’s none of your business, and you don’t want to make it your business either. But curiosity got the best of you and you can’t help but slowly peek from behind the lockers as discreetly as you possibly can, only to get a glimpse of the people arguing.
As soon as your eyes land on the figures standing further down the hall you realize just why the voice sounded so familiar to you. His lanky figure was leaning against the lockers, a girl standing in front of him with her back facing you, playing with her fingers nervously behind her back. You immediately recognized the boy as Heeseung, and the girl, well, as the girl from the party the previous weekend.
The girl you had ruined his chances of getting into bed with.
Your back hit the lockers behind you once again as you slapped your hand over your mouth to prevent a gasp from leaving your lips, your eyes wide as you realized the situation unfolding right in front of you.
You couldn’t help but notice the look in his eyes during the quick glance you got at him. His big doe eyes were no longer sparkling like they normally did, no, instead he almost looked sad. Something you had never seen before, something you didn’t even think Heeseung was capable of feeling.
‘’I just don’t get it Yunjin,’’ Heeseung let out, both frustration and hurt lingering in his voice as he spoke. You discreetly peeked your head around the lockers once again, trying your best to remain quiet so they wouldn’t notice you literally spying on their ongoing discussion. Heeseung dragged one of his hands through his hair in annoyance, his eyes still glued to the shorter girl standing in front of him.
‘’It’s just, I don’t think this is going to work out,’’ The girl whose name you noted to be Yunjin let out nervously, still playing with her fingers behind her back. ‘’But why? Where is this coming from?’’ Heeseung pressed, his eyebrows slightly furrowed together as he spoke.
Your lips slightly parted as you listened to the two speaking, your eyebrows slightly furrowing together as well as you tried figuring out what was going on. What was Heeseung doing standing in the middle of the hallway during lunchtime, arguing with the girl from the party? Was he really that butthurt from her getting dragged away?
A sigh left Yunjins lips before she mimicked Heeseung's actions by running her fingertips through her hair as well. ‘’Look, Heeseung,’’ She mumbled, Heeseungs eyes still glued to her as he waited for her to continue speaking. ‘’I’m sure you’re a great guy and all, I mean, the past two weeks we’ve spent together has been great,’’
So she wasn’t just some random girl. The two of them had actually been seeing each other, your eyes widening as you realized what was going on. Were you about to witness Lee Heeseung getting dumped? ‘’It’s just that I’ve heard some things about you and I just no longer see you and me being a thing.’’
You had to hold back a gasp as the words trailed off her lips. You knew that if you made as much as one single noise, they both would hear you and Heeseung would’ve probably killed you for listening to their conversation; considering the look on his face, you knew this wasn’t the right time to mess with him.
But you also couldn’t help but wonder what things she had heard about him. Maybe her friend actually did remember speaking to you and had told her everything you had told her, about how shitty he was in bed? You quickly disregarded the thought, remembering how incredibly drunk that poor girl had been. There was no way that your little lie was the reason behind this.
‘’What things? You can’t just tell me you want to stop seeing me because of something you heard, at least tell me what you’ve heard so I can clear things up!’’
Yet another sigh left Yunjins lips, her gaze meeting the ground. You could tell Heeseung was only getting more and more frustrated with the girl standing in front of him by the way he was now nibbling on his bottom lip. ‘’Just accept the fact that I don’t want to see you anymore, Heeseung.’’
If it wasn’t for the fact that you absolutely despised Heeseung, you would’ve felt bad for him. You could tell that her words hurt him and for a split second, you actually did feel the tiniest bit of compassion for him. That was until you realized it was Lee Heeseung, and the tiniest bit of compassion you had just felt went away. ‘’I need to go now,’’ Yunjin mumbled, picking up the bag she had placed beside her on the floor.
You watched as she walked past Heeeung, making her way down the opposite way of the hallway; Heeseungs lips parting like he was about to say something. He turned around, his back now facing you as he watched the girl make her way down the hallway but not a single word left his lips.
You should’ve turned around and left ages ago, yet you couldn’t force yourself to actually walk away; yet look away. Your eyes were still intensely watching Heeseung as he ran his fingers through his hair, letting out a loud curse as the girl went around the corner.
It wasn’t until Heeseung turned around and his eyes met yours you realized you were in fact still staring. Your eyes widened, quickly placing your back against the locker once again. You held your breath, praying that he hadn’t actually seen you peeking from behind the lockers, mumbling curses as you shut your eyes.
Suddenly, you heard him make his way down the hallway. You immediately opened your eyes as you realized his footsteps were approaching your end of the hallway, and not the opposite. You quickly grabbed your bag, sprinting the way you came; still mumbling curses as you ran down the hallway.
It wasn’t until you reached the classroom where your next class was being held you slowed down, panting as you bent over, placing your hands on top of your thighs as you desperately tried to catch your breath. You looked behind you, scared that you would spot Heeseung standing there; but to your surprise, the hallway was completely empty. You let out a sigh of relief, placing your bag on the floor as you ran your fingertips through your hair.
You were thankful that it was still lunchtime and no one had seen you running down the hallways like your whole life depended on it, embarrassment washing over you as you realized that there was a possibility that anyone had seen you.
Including Heeseung.
The thought of Heeseung seeing you, spying on him and then running for your life made you want to sink through the ground. You prayed that he hadn't actually seen you and you had been quick enough for him to miss your eyes peeking from behind those lockers. You squeezed your eyes shut at the thought of Heeseung endlessly teasing you about it, making your life even more of a living hell.
By the time the first student arrived, you had managed to catch your breath and you were even able to shoot the other student a small smile as they greeted you. The small amount of sweat that had formed around your hairline however was still visible and you noticed how the student slightly furrowed their eyebrows together at the sight.
Wiping your forehead, you let out a sigh as you realized you didn’t even get to go to the bathroom. Spying on Heeseung and seeing him get dumped wasn’t as worth it as you originally thought as the urge to use the toilet crept upon you.
Lee Heeseung and his ways of constantly ruining your life.
Tumblr media
The picture of Heeseung getting brutally rejected kept lingering in your mind the following days. You had to hold back a laugh from leaving your throat every time the image of his furrowed eyebrows popped up in your mind, like right now for example; a small smile forming on your lips as the image of him running his hands through his hair in frustration once again flashed through your mind.
Not only had you caused Heeeung to not get laid, but you had also witnessed him getting dumped - all within the spawn of three days.
Some might call it luck, some may say it was unfortunate for him; but you? You’d like to call it karma. He had it coming, after all.
To your surprise, however, Heeseung hadn’t bothered you all week  - something that was incredibly unusual. Normally, he’d go out of his way at least once a day to annoy you, everything from some smart remark about the clothes you were wearing to blocking your locker.
But every time you walked past him, he didn’t even look your way.
At first, it surprised you. You had prepared yourself for some remark of some sort as you spotted him walking in your direction. But the remark never came, instead he just simply passed by without even laying his eyes on you. It left you confused, purely because something like that hadn’t happened in years. And as the week passed, and Heeseung didn’t even look your way once; you started to feel accomplished instead of confused.
Maybe you truly did manage to humble him by ruining his chances of getting laid that night.
‘’Earth to Y/N,’’
Sungchans voice snapped you out of your thoughts, the image of Heeseung getting blurry as Sungchan waved one of his hands in front of your face; leaning over so he could get a better look at your face. You blinked your eyes, clearing your throat as you put the pencil you had unknowingly been chewing on down on the bed. A chuckle was heard coming from Sungchan. ‘’What are you thinking about?’’
His question almost caused a grin to form on your lips once again, shaking your head in response. ‘’Nothing important,’’ You replied, flashing him a taunting smile as you leaned back on your bed.
It wasn’t unusual for you and Sungchan to hang out after school. Normally, Chenle would join the two of you as well; if he wasn’t busy hanging out at the frat, that being said.
You had met Chenle through Sungchan. The two of them knew each other before you even met Sungchan, and even though they weren’t exactly friends they usually hung out in a group of other people through out middle school. It wasn’t until Chenle showed up at some high school party you and Sungchan had attended together, however, that you met him.
That night had been the first time Chenle had ever gotten drunk and Sungchan was the only person he could recognize in his drunken state, which led to him following him around the whole night like a lost puppy. You had been there to help clean himself up after he had vomited in a bush outside the party, before he begged both you and Sungchan with tear-stained cheeks never to tell a single soul about what had happened. With a crying Chenle and with small giggles trailing off both your and Sungchans lips, a new friendship formed.
Chenle, to this very day, still denied that night ever happened. You weren’t sure if it was because he was still embarrassed about it, or if he just didn’t want his new frat buddies to find out about his miserable first experience of getting drunk. But one thing was for sure, he did not give up on his party life because of that minor incident. Which is why it didn’t come as a surprise to you when he decided to try getting into some of the fraternities the second he sat foot in college.
You were happy for him when he finally got into one of them, excited about all the parties he’d be able to get both you and Sungchan into with his new position as an official fratboy. But just like always, the universe seemed to have something personal against you when it turned out that Chenle had, as a matter of fact, gotten accepted into the very same fraternity as Lee Heeseung.
To make things even worse, the two of them became friends. Not only did they become friends, but good friends. Chenle hadn’t been around in high school like Sungchan had, therefore he didn’t exactly know the history you and Heeseung shared - even though you had told him about it multiple times. He always just shrugged it off, he never really understood why it was such a big deal anyways. To him, it was just a harmless rumor that hadn’t actually caused you any harm.
Maybe if he knew about the torment Heeseung had put you through ever since middle school, he would’ve actually understood why the rumor of you trying to get in his pants was a big deal.
‘’Whatever you say,’’ Sungchan mumbled, leaning against the headboard of your bed. ‘’Have you even been listening to what I’ve been saying?’’ You looked over at him, a small apologetic smile on your lips. Sungchan let out a groan as he spotted your smile, indicating that you hadn’t been listening to a single word that had left his lips.
‘’I asked you about the party tomorrow night.’’
Now it was your turn to let out a groan, leaning back so you were laying flat on your back. You put your hands over your face, rubbing your eyes in annoyance as your friend reminded you of the upcoming party. Chenle’s upcoming party. ‘’I really don’t want to go,’’ Your words came out muffled due to your hands covering your mouth as you spoke. ‘’You have to, it’s his birthday Y/N,’’ Sungchan argued, lightly slapping your legs; causing you to peak through your fingers.
The serious look on his face told you he wasn’t playing around. You stared at him for a moment before a sigh escaped your lips, letting your hands fall off your face. ‘’I know, I know.’’
It wasn’t that you didn’t want to attend your friend's birthday party. There was no way you’d actually miss it, he was one of your best friends after all; the only problem was that you knew you’d bump into Heeseung.
With Heeseung and Chenle being practically best friends, and with you and Chenle also being best friends, there was just no way you’d be able to avoid him. You were there to celebrate your friend, and so was he; leaving you with no other choice but to hang out with Lee Heeseung - against your will. ‘’You can’t avoid it just because Heeseung will be there,’’ Sungchan let out, his eyes still glued to you.
You rolled your eyes in response. ‘’I know and I won’t. I’m not going to miss my friend's birthday party just because he’s there.’’
Well, a part of you wanted to do exactly that. But you know that would make you a shitty friend, knowing how fed up Chenle already was with the relationship you and Heeseung shared. He just wanted the two of you to get along and not argue every time the two of you as much as walked by each other, how hard could it possibly be?
Well, harder than he could possibly phantom. ‘’Whatever you say,’’ Sungchan mumbled once again, tearing his eyes off you as he picked up the notepad laying in front of him; placing it in his lap. ‘’You can just avoid him as much as you can and no one ends up getting hurt.’’ His words made a dry chuckle leave your lips. ‘’Like avoiding him is possible when Chenle is so far up his ass.’’
You could tell Sungchan was holding back a laugh by the way his lips almost twitched into a smile. He knows he shouldn’t laugh, he knows he should tell you off for speaking about your friend like that; but he also knows it is true. He knows Chenle views Heeseung like he’s some type of higher being, when in reality he’s just a jerk. But he fits the frat boy stereotype perfectly, and Chenle wanted nothing more than to fit right into that role as well.
‘’Don’t worry, I’ll protect you from the big bad monster,’’ Sungchan playfully grinned at you, your lips parting before playfully kicking him in the arm, a chuckle trailing off his lips as he dodged your kick. ‘’You better, or he might come after you next.’’

Now standing in the hallway where your friend's birthday party was being hosted, you immediately regretted coming. The smell of men's perfume filled your nose the second you stepped into the house, making you scrunch your nose in disgust as the scent only continued to get worse. What did you expect of a house filled with nothing but boys?
‘’Do you want me to hand him the gift or do you want to do it?’ Sungchan mumbled into your ear as you walked through the already packed living room, greeting people as you walked past. ‘’You can do it, you were the one who bought it anyways.’’ You mumbled back, shooting a smile at some familiar faces in the crowd as you continued making your way through the crowd.
You had practically begged Sungchan to be the one buying him a gift, claiming you had no idea what to get a frat boy for his birthday. Not that Sungchan knew any better, but at least he was a man himself and had a somewhat better idea of what to get another boy his age for his birthday. He eventually decided to go with a nice bottle of whiskey, a bottle that you knew Chenle would proudly place on top of one of the shelves in his room as decoration.
‘’Not only do I have to be the one buying it, but the one giving it to him as well?’’ Sungchan muttered into your ear, causing you to roll your eyes. You were about to argue back, but a loud yell coming from in front of you interrupted your thoughts. ‘’You made it!’’
Your eyes shifted over to the direction where the voice was coming from, a big smile spreading across your lips as you spotted Chenle making his way toward you. ‘’You really think I’d miss my best friend's birthday party? Who do you take me for?’’ You giggled as you felt his arms wrap around your body, pulling you into a tight hug. He slowly rocked your body back and forth, a chuckle trailing off his lips. ‘’I’m just joking, I know you wouldn’t.’’
You watched with a big smile on your lips as Chenle pulled the taller boy beside you into a tight hug as well, a chuckle trailing off your lips as the two slightly stumbled backward. ‘’Be careful, I don’t want to drop your birthday present,’’ Sungchan let out, pushing the shorter boy off himself with a chuckle trailing off his lips. An ironic gasp left Chenle’s lips as he spotted the brown bag Sungchan was holding in one of his hands.
‘’You got me a gift? Guys, you didn’t have to do that!’’
Sungchan only rolled his eyes in response as he handed him the bag, which he didn’t even bother wrapping before leaving for the party. With his shaky handwriting and a pen that almost didn’t even work, he had written ‘To: Chenle, From: Sungchan and Y/N’ across the brown paper bag. You had scolded him for it when you had met up with him, to which he only replied that you should’ve done it yourself if you weren’t pleased with his efforts.
Chenle was quick to tear the paper bag off, only to reveal a nice bottle of whiskey. This was the first time you even saw the bottle, putting your trust in Sungchan when he said he’d buy the fanciest bottle he could find. And he did not disappoint, it was a nice bottle. And judging by the way Chenle’s eyes lit up as he held the bottle up, you could tell he found it just as nice.
‘’Dude, I’m totally putting this in my room for everyone to see,’’ You had to stifle a laugh as the words trailed off his lips, confirming what you had originally thought. Maybe you knew your friend better than you thought. Before you knew it, you were pressed firmly against his chest once again; a squeal leaving your lips as he lifted you up into the air. ‘’Thank you so much,’’ He excitedly let out, refusing to put you down even though you were now giggling and playfully hitting his arm, begging him to put you down.
After Chenle ran off to show his friends the bottle he had just received, boosting about it being the nicest bottle he had ever seen, the night went on.
You stayed by Sungchans side the entire night, chatting with each other over the loud music. Even though Sungchan was no longer the same awkward and introverted kid he once was, he still wasn’t the type to enjoy parties. He could appreciate the social aspect of it, but the drinking? Not so much. But Chenle had managed to get him to drink various drinks throughout the night, something Sungchan usually never did, but it was his best friend's birthday party after all; and who was he to refuse his requests?
‘’When do you think they’re bringing out the cake?’’ Sungchan let out, his eyes scanning the packed room from the corner where the two of you were standing. A chuckle left your lips as your eyes scanned the room as well, spotting Chenle dancing in the crowd. ‘’Not anytime soon,’’ You sighed, taking a sip of the alcohol Chenle had poured you. ‘’Then I have time to run to the bathroom,’’ Sungchan mumbled beside you, placing his cup on the table beside him. You only nodded in response, your eyes darting over to look at him again.
‘’Just be quick,’’ You let out to which he chuckled. ‘’Are you scared the big scary monster is going to get you?’’ He smirked at you, causing you to roll your eyes at the mention of Heeseung. ‘’You’re so funny.’’ You let out, glaring at him as he winked at you before disappearing into the crowd.
Your eyes scanned the room once again, the small smile returning to your lips as you watched Chenle dancing across the room. For a moment, you considered joining him; it was his birthday after all, and he looked like he was having way more fun than you judging by the big smile on his face as he danced with his friends.
Speaking of Heeseung, you had yet to even see him.
The thought, however, barely even crossed your mind before you felt a strong grip around your wrist. You didn’t even get to look at the person who was now holding onto your wrist before you were suddenly dragged up the stairs leading to the second floor, the second floor which Chenle had made very clear was off limits.
‘’I mean it, do not go on the second floor,’’ The serious look on his face as he told you had almost made you laugh, like he was telling you the most serious thing ever. ‘’I wasn’t planning on going up there begin with.’’ You chuckled, raising one of your eyebrows. Chenle let out a sigh before shaking his head. ‘’No, I mean it Y/N,’’
‘’Do not go on the second floor.’’
This time, you could no longer hold back your laughter. Chenle just rolled his eyes at your reaction, getting annoyed that you weren’t taking him seriously. ‘’I’m serious,’’ He whined, watching as you bent over the bed laughing, holding your stomach. ‘’The boys hate when people go up there and they’d literally kill me if they ever found out my friends went up there.’’
The boys, as he liked to refer to them as, were in fact his fellow frat buddies. You wiped your eyes, rolling them before shaking your head. ‘’Don’t worry, you can tell the boys that I wasn’t planning on it.’’
Well, you weren’t. But with the person now dragging you up the stairs, you had no other choice than to follow them as their grip around your wrist was stronger than you; despite your desperate efforts to try to snatch your arm away. The darkness made it almost impossible for you to see who the person was, which only made you even more nervous.
‘’What the fuck,’’ You let out as you reached the top floor, the person in front of you finally letting go of your wrist. ‘’What are you doing?’’ You exclaimed, your gaze darting down to look at your wrist which was now slightly throbbing in pain from the steady grip. ‘’No, what the fuck are you doing?’’
You recognized the voice faster than you would’ve liked. Your eyes immediately darted back up, only to come face to face with Heeseung. Your eyes slightly widened as you scanned his face, his eyebrows furrowed together and his lips pressed into a thin line; he was angry. He was really, really angry.
A chuckle trailed off your lips after a second of nothing but silence. ‘’Careful dragging me up here, people might think you’re trying to fuck me.’’ You hissed at him, knowing your words will only tick him off even more.
Over the years, you learned how to bite back whenever he tried getting on your nerves. The first time you had talked back, his eyes had widened for a split second; something he never expected you to do. But as the years passed, it no longer surprised him and now he found himself laughing in your face at your desperate attempts to defend yourself.
Only he didn’t laugh this time.
‘’Everyone already seems to think we’ve fucked so it doesn’t really matter, does it?’’
Another dry chuckle left your throat. ‘’Your own lie biting you in the ass, Heeseung?’’ You glared at him, A sarcastic chuckle leaving his lips as he ran his hands through his hair in frustration, just like he had done when you witnessed him getting dumped; his eyes looking everywhere but at you.
‘’Why are you telling people I can’t make a girl cum?’’
His eyes met yours as he finished speaking, his big doe eyes squinted as he stared at you. You just stared at him for a moment, both shock and amusement washing over you. So the girl had remembered what you had told her after all. And not only had she remembered, but the words had somehow reached Heeseung which meant that she was now telling other people about it.
‘’You haven’t even slept with me, so why the fuck would you even say that?’’ He continued as you only stood there, staring at him while trying to process what had happened.
You had unknowingly spread a rumor about Lee Heeseung, the boy who once ruined your whole reputation by once spreading a rumor about you.
‘’For the exact same reason you told the whole school I tried sleeping with you!’’
Heeseung clenched his jaw as he groaned, throwing his hands up in the air. ‘’Really? That was years ago now Y/N!’’ He exclaimed, his eyes still glued to you. ‘’Well since someone came to me claiming that we slept together the rumor still seems to be relevant,’’ You hissed, crossing your arms over your chest. Heeseung let out a curse under his breath as the words left your mouth, shaking his head in disbelief.
‘’You should be thankful, it’s not like it’s a bad rumor.’’ He hissed back. ‘’Are you kidding me? You made everyone believe I was some kind of attention whore,’’ You defended yourself. This was the first time you ever spoke about the whole rumor thing with Heeseung, and only now did you realize that he had no idea how his stupid rumor affected your high school years.
Heeseung once again let out a groan in annoyance. ‘’So you decided to make that rumor even worse by adding even more lies to it?’’ He spat at you. You shook your head in response, a small smile forming on your lips. ‘’No, I just did it so you wouldn’t get laid.’’
‘’Well now I won’t be getting laid ever again! Why would you tell Chaeryeong out of all people? She never knows how to keep her mouth shut!’’
You raised one of your eyebrows in confusion. You had no idea who Chaeryeong was, you had never even heard of her before; until it hit you. The girl you had told all about Heeseung and how incredibly bad he was in bed must’ve been Chaeryeong. Even though you felt like laughing in his face, you decided to not do so. You didn’t feel like putting your whole life on the line today.
‘’I’m going back downstairs.’’
You had already turned around as the words left your mouth, your back facing him as you made your way towards the stairs. However, Heeseung was not done with the conversation the two of you were having; causing him to once again grab onto your wrist, this time to prevent you from walking away.
You were about to curse him out, anger building up inside of you as you once again felt his tight grip around your wrist. The sound of someone coming up the stairs behind you, however, interrupted your thoughts.
You immediately looked over at Heeseung, fear replacing the previous angry expression you had worn on your face. Heeseung wore the exact same expression on his face, his face going pale as he remembered his own rule. He wasn’t even supposed to bring someone up there in the first place.
‘’Heeseung?’’
Your panic only grew as you recognized the voice as no other than Chanle’s. You kept your eyes glued on Heeseung, who only looked at you with the same amount of fear in his. You wanted to slap him across the face for not quickly thinking of a solution, for a way to avoid Chenle walking up the stairs and spotting the two of you; he had been the one who had dragged you up there after all. Not only did you not want your friend to see you standing alone with Lee Heeseung, but you knew he’d scold you for even going up there in the first place.
But Heeseung just stood there, not moving an inch - his grip on your arm only tightening for each second that passed.
‘’Bro, are you up here? We’re gonna bring out the cake soon,’’ Chenle’s voice only got closer which only contributed to your panic. You could tell Heeseung panicked as well judging by the way his eyes were now darting around the hallway, looking for a way out of the current situation he found himself in.
You were about to snatch your arm away, not wanting to stand around anymore, getting ready to quietly slip into one of the doors beside you. At this point you didn’t even care about the one rule Chenle had ordered you to follow, you’d much rather he found you in one of the bedrooms rather than him spotting you with Heeseung.
Heeseung, however, seemed to have other plans. Before you could even consider where to escape, you felt yourself being pulled to the side; almost causing a yelp to leave your throat as you suddenly felt Heeseung press his hand over your mouth.
Your back suddenly hit his chest, causing your eyes to widen. You had never been this close to Heeseung in your entire life and the fact that his hand was firmly placed over your mouth was stopping you from making as much as a single sound. Not only could you feel Heeseungs hot breath fanning across your neck, but the room he had just pulled you into was pitch black as well; making it impossible for you to even see your surroundings.
But judging by the way Heeseung had you pressed up again this chest, you figured the room couldn’t be that big. You knew Heeseung well enough to know that he would never hold you this close voluntarily.
His touch sent shivers down your spine, and it most definitely wasn’t the type of shiver that sent butterflies flying in your stomach. No, you almost felt sick to your stomach as you realized it was the Lee Heeseungs hand placed over your mouth, his rough fingers touching your lips - and breathing down your neck.
‘’Don’t you dare make a single sound, okay?’’ He hissed into your ear, speaking so quietly that you almost didn’t even hear him. You only nodded in response, too scared to even utter a single breath.
The whole situation almost felt surreal to you.
The closest you had ever been to Heeseung was whenever his hands ruffled through your hair or whenever he’d accidentally bump into you walking through the hallway, but other than that he always kept a safe distance from you. But there you were, closer to him than you had ever been before with your back pressed firmly against his chest - something you never thought would happen, nor was it something you had wished for.
You could hear footsteps approaching from outside the door, feeling the grip that Heeseung had on you tighten as they came closer. You weren’t too sure as to why he was holding onto you, almost like he expected you to run out of there if he let you go. Not that it mattered, you were too paralyzed by the whole situation to even consider moving anyways.
As you heard the footsteps slowly descend back down the stairs, you allowed yourself to breathe; grabbing onto Heeseungs hand that was still covering your mouth and ripping it away from your face. A gasp left your lips as you were finally able to breathe properly, slightly stumbling forwards, trying your best to get away from Heeseungs presence.
‘’What the fuck!’’ You hissed at him, turning around to face him; not that you could see him. The room was still pitch black from Heeseung never turning on the light. Not that it really mattered, you hoped that he didn’t need to see the angry expression you wore on your face for him to understand how mad you were - the anger lingering in your voice speaking for itself.
But to your surprise, it seemed like Heeseung didn’t quite catch onto your hints as you once more felt his hot breath against your throat; causing your eyes to widen. ‘’I told you to be quiet,’’ He hissed into your ear, causing you to slightly panic now that you couldn’t see just how close he was standing to you.
You desperately put your hands on top of his chest, getting ready to push him away from you. Your panic only continued to grow as you felt him quickly grab onto both your hands, bringing them down to his side; his hands still holding onto yours. ‘’Why do you always have to be so goddamn difficult?’’
You swore you could feel his lips brush against the skin of your neck as he spoke, sending shivers against your spine once more. This time, however, you couldn’t exactly pinpoint what the feeling now rushing your body meant. You weren’t sure if being in the dark, pressed up against Heeseung had made you lose your mind or if your heart actually skipped a beat as his lips slightly touched your neck; you weren’t too sure if you wanted to find out either.
All you knew was that you needed to get out of there. And you needed to get out of there quickly.
But it seemed like your legs picked the perfect timing to deceive you, refusing to move as much as an inch as you stayed frozen to the spot; Heeseung still holding onto both your hands, now feeling his hot breath against your face. It wasn’t until a quiet chuckle escaped his lips that you realized you were still in fact staring at him, your eyes slowly adjusting to the dark. ‘’I can feel you staring at me, you know.’’ He whispered.
You wanted to scream. You wanted to throw yourself out of the door, get away from his presence; anything. Yet no matter how hard you tried to get your body to move, you simply just couldn’t. Not only was your body refusing to move, but your ability to speak also seemed to be gone as not a single word left your lips. Heeeung remained quiet for a second, before leaning even closer to you.
‘’Don’t tell me that’s your heart pounding?’’
His words only freaked you out even more as you realized that your heart was in fact pounding. You hadn’t even realized it until he pointed it out, turning you into even more of a nervous wreck. You weren’t sure if you were nervous because of your best friend almost catching you pressed up against Lee Heeseung, or if it was Heeseungs presence that made you nervous. Both options seemed equally bad to you.
Another chuckle trailed off Heeseung's lips as you failed to respond to his question. ‘’Never knew I had that effect on you,’’
Normally, you would’ve just rolled your eyes or told him to fuck off. But in a situation like this, in a completely dark room where you had no vision of your surroundings with him only moving closer and closer to you, those options were completely off the table. You wanted to tell him how wrong he was, that he did not have that effect on you, but your heartbeat definitely told not only Heeseung, but you as well, otherwise.
You had been preoccupied with your own racing thoughts to even notice that he had let go of your hands, both of them now hanging by your sides. It wasn’t until you felt him place one of his hands on your face you realized that he had let go of them, his touch almost making you flinch.
A series of curses ran through your mind as you felt him place his thumb under your chin, tilting your face up; your eyes still wide from the shock. Maybe you were happy that he never turned on the light, you knew he’d endlessly tease you if he could see the look on your face. Although he didn’t even need to see your face, the faint sound of your pounding heart told him enough.
You felt his head dip in between your neck and shoulder, the feeling of his lips brushing against your skin causing you to let out a gasp. ‘’Should’ve told me sooner and you wouldn’t have to lie about sleeping with me.’’ He mumbled, his lips finally meeting your skin.
Upon his rough lips meeting the skin of your neck, you grabbed onto the surface right beside you, your hand coming into contact with a sink; making you realize you were in a bathroom.
You had no idea how you ended up in this situation. You had no idea how the fuck you ended up in a bathroom with Lee Heeseung, the person you swore you hated more than anyone else on this entire planet, with his lips leaving wet kisses down your neck. What you did know, however, was the fact that you desperately needed to get out of there.
Heeseung wasn’t going to let you get away that easily though. Almost like he read your mind, he grabbed onto your waist; pushing you up against the counter beside you. A small yelp left your lips as your lower back hit the counter, Heeseungs lips still attached to your neck.
‘’Maybe you’ll let me prove you wrong, Y/N?’’
His lips left your neck, now slightly hovering above your own lips instead. You felt your breath quickening as you felt his top lip slightly brush against your own; one of his hands was still placed on the side of your face, his thumb tilting your head upwards.
‘’Prove me wrong?’’ You managed to stutter out, not even sure if he could hear you due to how quietly the words left your mouth. He hummed in response and if the room hadn’t been completely dark, you’d be able to see the grin that had formed on his lips.
‘’You’d let me prove to you that I can make any girl cum, wouldn’t you?’’
As soon as the words left his lips, you could’ve sworn you stopped breathing for a second. Normally you probably would’ve cringed at his words, but the shock that had washed over you was making it almost impossible for you to even utter a single word.
Or maybe it was the way his lips brushed against yours that had made you question your entire existence, making it hard for you to breathe properly; how were you supposed to know when all you could possibly focus on was the way he was now pressing his body up against your own?
You knew this was just his way of messing with you. He probably found it amusing, seeing how you became a stuttering mess with him this close to you. You knew he was only doing it for his own amusement, your mind flashing to the future for a split second - a future where Heeseung would tell everyone how he had you quivering in his arms by doing nothing but press soft kisses against your skin.
There was no way you’d ever let that happen.
‘’Yes.’’
Or maybe you would. The word trailed off your lips so softly, so softly that Heeseung almost missed the way they fell off your lips so perfectly. But he didn’t, he didn’t miss the way you whimpered a ‘yes’, which was his cue to press his hovering lips against your own.
It all happened too fast, too fast for you to even realize the fact that your hands had wrapped themselves around his neck; pulling him deeper into the kiss. Your mind was too foggy to even try to comprehend what was happening, simply accepting the fact that you found yourself pressed up against someone when you should be downstairs celebrating your friend's birthday.
Your brain just choose to ignore the most important part, that the person you had just pulled into a kiss was in fact no one other than Lee Heeseung.
His lips felt almost too soft against your own. His touch, however, was not nearly as soft. You could now feel his fingernails digging into your skin as his hand slipped under your shirt, the grip he had on your jaw only hardening the deeper the kiss got. A small whimper left your lips as you felt him run his tongue over your bottom lip, asking you for permission to enter your mouth.
The darkness definitely contributed to the whole situation. If you had actually been able to see him, there was no way you’d let him even come remotely to close to you. But you couldn’t, and the darkness made it almost too easy for you to fall into some sort of fantasy where the boy who was now slightly tugging on your bottom lip was someone completely different.
Someone who wasn’t Heeseung.
So that’s what you imagined as his tongue come into contact with yours, causing the kiss to become much messier. You almost whined as his lips left yours, only to travel back down your neck; this time leaving much wetter and harsh kisses. A small whimper left your lips as you felt the dangly, silver earring he was wearing brush against your skin; the cold sensation only heightened the feelings you were already experiencing.
The feelings you refused to accept were indeed rushing through your body, you refused to accept that you were indeed starting to rub your thigh together in order to relieve the throbbing now coming from your core. Heeseung seemed to catch onto you trying to discreetly but desperately relieve the aching feeling, a chuckle trailing off his lips as he felt you uncomfortably shift underneath him.
His fingertips suddenly started tracing up and down your bare thigh, causing a small gasp to leave your lips; his sudden action taking you by surprise. You weren’t complaining though, feeling his fingertips lightly drag across your skin, moving closer and closer to the spot where you needed him the most.
It wasn’t until he pulled the skirt you were wearing up, rolling it up by your waist and his fingertips traced over your clothed core that he let out a groan. His fingertips immediately came into contact with the growing wet patch that had formed in your underwear, causing him to slightly bite into your skin. ‘’You’re incredibly wet for someone who claims to hate my guts,’’ He grunted against your skin, causing your eyes to flutter close as he lightly tapped your clothed clit.
‘’Shut up,’’ You hissed through your teeth, the last thing you wanted right now was for him to tease you. The only thing you needed was for him to touch you, and you needed it badly. Too badly. A dry chuckle trailed off his lips, pressing his lips onto the skin right below your ear as he slipped his hand into your underwear.
You let out a sigh of relief as his fingers came into contact with your clit, running two of his fingers up and down your slit. A hiss left his lips as your arousal covered his fingers, feeling his cock twitch in his jeans; something he chose to ignore as his fingertips reached your entrance.
The first finger slipped into you with ease, your slick walls welcoming him with a moan trailing off your lips. He had to hold back a moan himself as his knuckles came into contact with your sticky entrance, slowly pumping his finger in and out of you before eventually slipping in yet another finger.
Your hands grabbed onto his hair, slightly tugging on it as the new sensation took over your body. Never had someone ever fingered you before, and you surely never expected Heeseung to be the first one to do so. But with the way his index and pointer fingers were now pumping in and out of you at an agonizingly slow pace, you simply couldn’t help but fall into the pleasure of it all.
Even though it was the fingers of the person you hated more than anyone else making you feel good, you simply just couldn’t deny the fact that he was indeed making you feel a little too good.
‘’You gonna take back what you said?’’ He mumbled against your skin, his fingers still pumping in and out of you. You had to bite back a moan, shaking your head. ‘’Never.’’
Your words only riled Heeseung up even more, a grin forming on his lips as he pulled his fingers out of you completely. You were about to whine in protest, an empty feeling washing over you as his fingers slipped out of you. But before you could utter a single word, he slammed his fingers into you once again; a loud gasp leaving your lips, slapping one of your hands over your mouth to stop the whimpers about to leave your lips.
‘’We’ll see about that.’’
The previous speed he had set changed into something almost sinister, the sound of his knuckles hitting the wet skin surrounding your entrance filled the room as you spread your legs further apart, making it easier for him to slam his fingers into you.
At this point you couldn’t even control the moans spilling past your lips, nor did you try to. You were too lost in the bliss of his fingers pumping in and out of you at just the right speed to even notice the way you were moaning into his ear. It wasn’t until he curled his fingers, his fingers now hitting just the right spot you realized how loud you were being as a loud yelp left your lips.
Heeseung quickly realized that he had found the spot that made you weak at your knees as he felt you grab onto his bicep in order to stabilize yourself, your legs becoming slightly shaky as he continued to pound his fingers into you. ‘’Don’t tell me you’re going to cum already?’’ He whispered into your ear, your moans almost deafening his whisper.
You, however, were too lost in the pleasure to even realize he had said something. The only thing you could focus on was the way a familiar feeling filled your stomach, your legs starting to fail you as you felt your orgasm slowly approach you. You were too lost in the pleasure to even notice the way he had leaned over you, his fingers still pumping in and out of you.
Almost like you had forgotten who the person in front of you was, you were painfully reminded as he suddenly flipped the light switch; the bright light causing you to squint your eyes. With a grin on his face and your lips slightly parted, you only stared at him in utter shock as the realization hit you.
You had just let Lee Heeseung finger you in his very own bathroom.
A whimper left your lips as his movements stopped, his fingers slipping out of you. The knot in your stomach came undone, but not in the way you had hoped for; no, he simply just didn’t let you cum. You just stared at him, your eyes wide from the realization. Not only had you actually let him finger you, but he also left you hanging by not letting you cum.
The two of you just stared at each other, a taunting grin still plastered on his face as your heavy pants filled the room, your eyes still wide. You could tell he was holding back a laugh as he scanned your fucked out expression, a proud smirk replacing the grin on his lips as he leaned closer to you once again.
Brushing your hair behind your ear, he placed his hand on the side of your neck; breathing down your neck. ‘’What a shame,’’ He whispered into your ear. ‘’I guess I don’t know how to make girls cum after all.’’
If you weren’t speechless before, you most definitely were now. You were too deep into your own thoughts, your shaky hands trailing up your face; covering your mouth as the fact that you had just let Lee Heeseung finger you settled in to even notice the boy washing his hands beside you.
It wasn’t until he cleared his throat you looked over at him. He just smiled at you, scanning your body; slightly shaking his head while clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. ‘’I’m gonna go back downstairs now,’’ He let out, placing his hand on the door handle. ‘’You should probably make yourself look at least presentable before going back down there.’’
You stared at him as his eyes darted down to your skirt, your eyes following his. Your lips parted as you realized your skirt was still pulled up by your waist, revealing your now drenched and side-looped underwear. You quickly pulled your skirt down as Heeseung opened the door, a laugh leaving his lips as he watched you straighten your skirt back down using your hands.
You were still fixing your skirt as he stepped out of the door, his head suddenly peeking back from behind the door. ‘’And Y/N?’’ His words caused you to snap your head towards him, not daring to say a single word; feeling both embarrassment and resentment towards the boy standing in front of you.
And with the very same shit-eating grin he always wore on his lips, he took one last look at you.
‘’That was just for spying on me earlier this week.’’
You were done for, something telling you this was only the beginning of Heeseungs revenge. Not only were you done for, you were fucked.

hi!! #34 from the prompt list with heeseung???
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
w.count 365 | warnings nothing much just pure fluff + typos and not proof read | ems note thank you thank you anon for requesting this!!!! i had a lot of fun writing this so i hope you love it !!
Tumblr media
the sound of your front door opening woke you up, in a sleepy haze you thought someone was breaking in until you heard the rattling of keys and your boyfriend talking “baby? why are you awake? It's past midnight and you should be in bed!” heeseung said finding you cuddled up on the couch with the end credits of some movie playing. “wanted to wait up for you.” you said, fluttering your eyes trying to fight off sleep, the way you spoke made heeseung feel like he died and went to heaven, you knew he had to work late today, but you still wanted to keep up the routine of being there when he gets home. “Let me take you to bed.” heeseung whispered, bending down to meet your eyes only to be met by your shaking head “no it’s comfy here!” you reached up to pull him towards you and who is he to refuse your cuddles, yes your couch maybe a little bit too small for both of you to lay down on but if anyone were to fall off it would be heeseung. gently climbing on top of you feel him place his head in the crook of your neck only for him to pepper quick kisses onto your neck and travel to your face, wrapping his arms around your body even though in a few hours he won’t be able to move from how numb they are but he doesn’t care because he knows it’s your favorite cuddle position, having him lay his head on your chest so you can play with his hair, for heeseung it’s easy for him to see how much he’s loved, but he’s never felt for over than when he’s with you.
the chirping birds outside the bedroom window caused you to wake up from your suspenseful dream, you didn’t remember when you moved from the living room couch to your bed but you didn’t ask questions when you felt heeseung arm pull you closer to him as he hummed a few words that your mind didn’t seem to register until he kissed your neck. “go back to sleep baby.” and who were you to refuse.

TIME OF YOUR LIFE, LEE HEESEUNG.
Tumblr media
pairing lee heeseung + reader.
genre fluff.
summary heeseung takes his partner to their first concert.
word count 0.3k.
warnings none.
an i love imagining little things like this
Tumblr media
Your grip on Heeseung's hand is tight when he pulls you through the concert crowd. It's hard to squeeze through the people, squealing out apologies at people who seem to 'accidentally' shove you back and glare at you as your careless boyfriend tried to drag you to the front.
"Hee, I don't really care if we're at the front or not! I'm just happy to be here with you." You try to shout over the interwoven coversations surrounding you, your voice sounding so small that you would be surprised if he had even heard you.
"I want you to have the best view you can. This is your first concert, baby. I want you to have the time of your life- plus then I can take you to them all." He replies with a big smile, holding your hand tighter as you get closer to the barricade, "We won't go all the way to front. I don't want you to get crushed against the fence."
He doesn't do a brilliant job at getting you excited, but he's trying his best, so you let him off for insinuating you could die in here. After fitting you into a little spot where you can see the stage, Heeseung takes the room behind you for protection and holds onto your hips securely.
The classic lights change colour into a deep red and the booming speakers stops playing, the arena now filling with screams and squeals as they prepare for the artist to finally come on stage after all of the waiting.
Heeseung tries to keep his eyes on the stage, thought he finds it so hard when you're right there in front of him. He imagines your eyes are gleaming, wide open as you take in the new experience.
The show doesn’t matter to him, not one bit. For him, you’re the star shining so brightly in front of him, and he just wants to show you all of the beauty in the world.

HEESEUNG 02. ⏱﹕ꕤ﹔ OFF THE RECORD NIGHT !
lee heeseung couldn’t stand hearing jake talk about his crush on y/n l/n any longer. but after he finds himself entangled with the girl in a late night conversation, perhaps his mindset shifts.
Tumblr media
⌇#GENRE ◠﹒fluff + (american) college au #PAIRING ◠﹒lee heeseung x fem! reader #WARNINGS ◠﹒heeseung is kind of mean and a bitch LMFAO also poor jake
Tumblr media
if lee heeseung were to hear the name y/n l/n one more time that day, he would officially lose his shit.
it started when jake invited heeseung over to his dorm. hanging out with jake was supposed to help him relax before their midterms but as expected, the conversation had turned over to the topic of girls.
heeseung admitted to not being romantically interested in anyone. of course he found girls at their university attractive, but there wasn’t quite anyone he would see himself dating. the hot girls either had boyfriends or weren’t interested in him.
on the other hand, jake claimed that there was one girl in his major he found really pretty. he sugar coated it by saying he just admired the way she looked in a few of their classes together. that was, until jake’s roommate exposed him.
“jake has a crush on her!” sunghoon, who was jake’s roommate, stated while passing by the two in the common area.
heeseung whipped his head around at jake, who held a sheepish expression and sunghoon’s words.
for someone to get jake so flustered… heeseung wanted to know who it was.
“who’s the girl?” heeseung inquired, accompanied by a little giggle. he felt silly acting in such a way as if it was a schoolgirl crush, but even heeseung could admit that there was nothing more heart fluttering than the topic of love.
jake was hesitant to answer, but eventually he let it out.
“it’s y/n l/n, the girl who lives next door.”
at the reveal, heeseung raised an eyebrow. y/n l/n?
he was familiar with her because he also had a fair amount of classes with her. she was relatively smart and when no one had an answer to a question, she would be the one to raise her hand. she also seemed to have a kind personality and was constantly seen talking to new people each day.
and heeseung wasn’t a liar, he could even admit she was a pretty attractive girl.
but for jake to have a crush on her? she didn’t really seem to stand out all that much.
it got worse when the topic of y/n couldn’t seem to leave jake’s mouth for the rest of the night. anything they spoke about, jake would somehow tie it back to y/n.
“do you want to play genshin?” heeseung had asked at one point, hoping to move on from the girl that jake was so irrevocably in love with.
but much to his dismay, a lovesick smile overtook jake’s face as he sighed. “did you know y/n is an kazuha main? isn’t that so cute?”
no, heeseung couldn’t understand what about the girl made jake act in such a way. what was all the hype about? he would’ve understood if it was someone like park sieun or kim jiwon, both of whom were known amongst the physics majors for being extremely pretty, kind, and talented. but y/n l/n? the girl who failed to make it onto the school’s dance team? the girl who was never seen around campus and only had a presence in her classes? what was so special about her that had jake hooked?
as the night progressed and jake only spoke about her more, heeseung became sure of one thing.
jake had a horrible type in women.
after an extensive night of y/n, playing video games, binging ghibli films, more y/n, cooking food, and even more y/n, heeseung found himself ready to go back to his own dorm. after all, he did have a midterm at 9 am the next day and he didn’t want to be out too late.
“are you sure you don’t want me to walk you back to your dorm? you’re all the way on the other side of campus.” jake was correct, the walk was about 30 minutes and the idea of it made heeseung want to cry.
however, heeseung shook his head. “nah it’s alright, i can go by myself. i gotta go to the convenience store anyways and you should be trying to sleep early since your midterm is at 8 am.”
jake raised an eyebrow. “what do you need from the convenience store? i might have it here.”
“a red bull.” heeseung stated. “i don’t think i can survive all my classes plus my midterms tomorrow without one, and i definitley won’t wake up early enough to buy it in the morning.”
jake snorted. “oh yeah, you’re on your own then. i don’t believe in energy drinks and neither does sunghoon.”
heeseung just chuckled and waved at jake before heading out, mentally preparing for long, treacherous walk. a 30 minute walk wasn’t that bad in theory, but walking in the dark with a bunch of alpha delta kappa apple phi sigma ligma balls frat guys walking around making moaning noises wasn’t something heeseung was looking forward to. so he took a deep breath and made his way to the campus convenience store.
after about 15 minutes, heeseung notice the familiar sight of the store. he sighed in relief at being able to take a break from walking, and went inside.
he immediately beelined for the drink fridge, where he was able to find his beloved red bull.
10.99 for a red bull?? college is a scam. heeseung thought before proceeding to the counter to pay for his drink.
he was getting scammed, but at least he was self aware.
once the drink was paid for and in his hands, heeseung briskly walked out of the store to make it to his dorm before the frat guys could get to him. one of the asian frats in particular had been trying to get him to join for a while, and he declined each time. although, he almost joined at one point before he heard that the president was choi yeonjun and he had a bone to pick with that guy after he beat him in a singing contest.
when heeseung stepped out of the store, he noticed someone crouching down in the alley that he hadn’t seen when he walked in. he was about to leave, until he got closer and realized who it was.
y/n l/n.
was she trying to torment him on purpose? seeing her after jake blabbed his ear off about her all night was absolutely comedic.
but one thing rubbed heeseung the wrong way. what was she doing in the dark alleyway? suspicious thoughts filled his brain as he attempted to get closer to see if she was doing something weird.
though he fully expected to see the girl crouched over lines of cocaine, he was taken aback when he noticed that she was crying.
oh fuck, what do i do?! i don’t have the facilities for this…
it was then that he remembered he wanted to see what jake saw in her, so he mustered up whatever courage he had before walking up to her.
“you shouldn’t be in a dark alleyway like this, someone is going to think you’re doing drugs.”
y/n looked up at heeseung with tears in her eyes, but chuckled at his joke.
heeseung was surprised to feel his heart race a little at her laugh.
“sorry, can you not tell my ra? im trying not to get another offense.” y/n joked back despite the apparent sadness on her face.
although he wanted to go back to his dorm and relax, he couldn’t help that he wanted to see what jake saw in y/n. the opportunity was too good to pass up.
so he sat down next to her, to which y/n didn’t deny. as soon as he was on the ground, his stomach had growled.
fuck… he thought. despite eating at jake’s house, the walking made him hungry once more and he really didn’t want to buy more food.
much to his surprise, y/n reached into her bag and pulled out two onigiris. she held one out to heeseung. “want one?”
heeseung smiled at this. he thought the act of sharing her food was kind, especially since she barely knew him. he gratefully accepted the onigiri and the two began eating in silence for a moment.
that was, until heeseung started talking. “want to tell me why you were crying?”
y/n purses her lips before responding. “i don’t know, will you tell anyone about it?”
heeseung shook his head. “my mouth is shut, i promise.”
another laugh left y/n’s lips, which heeseung couldn’t tell whether it was a genuine laugh or just a side effect of all the tears she had released. “i’m just not have the best start to the semester. for one, i’ve been having a hard time adjusting from being so far away from my family. and i don’t really have a lot of friends here so i feel especially lonely.” she started.
during the pause, heeseung brought up a question. “i thought you had a lot of friends? i see you talking to people often.”
y/n shook her head. “i talk to a lot of people, but i don’t really consider myself friends with all of them. i only talk to them in my classes and i never go out. i literally just rot in my dorm all day.”
heeseung made a noise of acknowledgement, before signaling her to start again.
“i also got rejected from the dance team which was heartbreaking, because i had been dancing for 15 years of my life and to find out i wasn’t good enough to make the team really discouraged me. my roommate always invites guys over without my permission and isn’t willing to listen to me when i tell her i’m not comfortable with a guy literally sleeping in our shared room. like hello?? our beds are two feet away from each other. i’m not going to sleep in the same room as her fucking boy toy. plus, always yells on the phone when i’m trying to sleep.” y/n took a breath before continuing. “sorry, that one gets me really heated.”
heeseung laughed. “i get it though, i have a lot of classes with juhyun and she’s really rude.”
“right?! thank god i’m not the only person who thinks that. for some reason, everyone seems to adore her.” y/n rolled her eyes at the thought. “anyways, i guess the breaking point for me was when my uncle passed away. that was kind of what set me off because i was really close to him and i always considered him my second dad since he sort of looked after me whenever my parents were too busy with work.”
“i’m sorry for your loss.” heeseung frowned. “i know it can be hard to cope with these things especially since you’re far away from your family.”
y/n nodded at his assertion. it was as if he read her mind. “yeah, i think at this point i’ve cried enough about it that i’m just kind of in shock.”
the two sat there for a moment in silence, basking in the calming atmosphere. for some reason, heeseung didn’t find it awkward to be around y/n. he figured it was because she was such an easy person to get along with that he could find himself so calmed by being around her.
if he just ignored the heat filling up his cheeks then perhaps that was the reason.
“so, what about you?” y/n spoke up after about a minute. “is there anything on your mind?”
heeseung was surprised that she asked. he hadn’t expected her to think about him, but nonetheless he answered. “not exactly, i guess i’m just stressed about midterms but isn’t everyone?”
y/n groaned. “oh shit, i forgot… the math midterm is tomorrow.” she begrudgingly took her phone out of her pocket and pulled up a google document of her study guide. “i guess i should start reviewing, but i don’t get any of this finance shit. i mean, i’m a physics major. why do i need to know money?!”
when y/n noticed heeseung’s teasing smile, she pointed an accusing finger at him. “why are you laughing at me, are you good at finance?”
heeseung just shrugged. “i dabble.” he left out the fact that he was the secretary for the anime club. after all, it didn’t feel relevant because truthfully he didn’t have many finances to deal with. and he didn’t want y/n to know he was involved in the anime club of all things. “do you need help? i can go over your study guide with you.”
shaking her head, y/n shut off her phone. “nah, i think i’ll be fine. i’m pretty good at remembering things from class so i think i can pull stuff from my ass.”
“oh right, i forgot you’re an academic weapon.” heeseung teased. “yet somehow you’re not understanding finance.”
“it’s not my fault the universe is against me this semester!”
heeseung recalled what she had told him previously about her troubles. “touché.”
there was a moment of silence, in which heeseung opted to check the time on his phone. it was nearing midnight, and he was nowhere near his dorm.
he pondered the idea of ending the conversation there and trying to get a good nights rest before the midterm. however as he looked back up at y/n and her unreadable expression, there was something within him that told him to stay. perhaps it was the unusual rhythm of his heart that he wanted to explore a bit more, or maybe even the way his eyes always trailed towards her. whatever it was, he decided to listen to his body and stay.
"hey heeseung, what's your favorite movie?" y/n inquired out of the blue, interrupting heeseung’s inner thoughts. “i’m just wondering. i feel like people’s favorite movies say a lot about them and i want to get to know you more.”
that made his eyes widen ever so slightly. the idea that his curiousity for the other was reciprocated was heartwarming in a way.
"why the sudden question?" heeseung teased once more. seeing her roll her eyes, he quickly corrected himself. "i'm teasing, it's whisper of the heart.”
y/n abruptly gasped. "you like studio ghibli too?"
heeseung’s heart fluttered with eagerness once he heard that she enjoyed watching ghibli films, as one of his guilty pleasures was that he took comfort in those movies, seeing as they took up a considerable part of her childhood. for a guy with his reputation, it would seem unlikely. so he kept his love hidden, with his older sister being the only one aware. she had a similar relationship to the films, having introduced them to heeseung in the first place. the latter ever so faintly smiled at the memory of him and his sister at their last studio ghibli movie binge.
"yeah, i love it!"
y/n scooted close to him, glad to have started that conversation. giggles erupted from her chest, her inner child peaking through which heeseung found extremely cute. “which are your favorites?"
heeseung thought for a few seconds. "well besides whisper of the heart, ponyo and kiki's delivery service"
"dude, ponyo is fucking amazing" y/n wistfully sighed, leaning back a bit with a nostalgia filled expression. "those movies are basically my childhood"
"s-same here" heeseung spoke, stuttering out of shock.
y/n abruptly sat up, reaching down to grab her phone. heeseung could roughly make out her phone case, which had the design of the twin stars from sanrio. it made him curious of whether or not she liked sanrio, and what other things she was interested in.
"i saw this really cool fanart of san from princess mononoke. it looks really realistic— almost painfully realistic! here, i think you would like it"
and she did, her phone displayed a captivating composition she found on instagram, a rather enthralling redraw of one of the scenes in princess mononoke. it was one that heeseung had trouble keeping his eyes off of, gaping at it with a slightly open mouth and wide eyes. his expression conveyed how amazed he truly was.
"it's... wonderful" he sighed out, a dreamy essence overtaking his aura. "it almost looks like official art.”
y/n cheekily grinned, letting her phone fall on her lap. "right?? it's so good"
the two became peaceful for a bit as the conversation died down and opted to listen to the ambiance of the night. both were becoming increasingly aware of just how truly late it was, but neither really minded that fact.
something undeniable were the small glances they kept making to each other, both wanting to start up the conversation again but were just a little too flustered to do so.
although they hadn’t ever spoken before that point, heeseung found it easy to be comfortable around y/n. words seemed to just spill out around her, and he couldn’t quite control it. he figured y/n felt the same judging by how she opened up so quickly to him.
until his previous conversation had registered within him, and he nearly doubled over in repulsion. heeseung had caught himself enjoying their short yet stirring exchange, more so than he had anticipated. not that he expected much at all, because it had started from the fact that heeseung wanted to see what jake saw in y/n.
unwillingly, he found himself understanding things from jakes perspective. he would have preferred if he didn't like the conversation but rather despised it and despised her.
the fact that heeseung had a conversation with her and thoroughly enjoyed it was nothing less than worrisome, and he couldn't help but wonder if he had anything wrong with him that day.
despite that discovery, one thing still wandered on heeseung’s mind.
what exactly made y/n l/n so special?
yes, he found her easy to get along with. and he did enjoy her company. and yes, something about her made his heart flutter a bit.
but he still couldn’t pin point what made jake so infatuated.
as heeseung examined y/n to see figure it out, the girl started giggling which confused heeseung. what was she laughing about?
“sorry i don’t mean to laugh but,” y/n put her hand to her mouth to control her giggles. “you just look so cute right now with your expression.”
heeseung stopped at this. was she flirting with him? he couldn’t deny anymore that she was constantly making him flustered.
“so, you think im cute?” heeseung asked with a wide smile on his face. “you’re not too bad looking yourself, y/n.”
not too bad looking was an understatement. under the moonlight and beneath the stars, y/n seemed to be the most ethereal being heeseung had ever laid eyes on. he felt all his previous assumptions about y/n disappearing in that one moment.
at heeseung’s compliment, y/n just shyly smiled. one thought crossed his mind.
is her heart racing like mine right now?
he hoped he wasn’t alone in the feeling.
after a slight moment where y/n looked as though she were contemplating something, she spoke once again. “there is… another reason i laughed.” y/n whispered out.
before he could ask for the reason, y/n slowly leaned closer to heeseung. they were already at a close proximity by sitting next to each other, but her closing that small distance made his eyes widen and lips part.
for a second, heeseung considered kissing her. but wouldn’t that be wrong? kissing his close friend’s crush? heeseung couldn’t do that to jake, even if deep down, he wanted to.
but before he could even try to complete the kiss, he heard her whisper.
“may i?”
the thought of jake completely left heeseung’s mind in that moment as he nodded.
heeseung could only feel the beating of his heart and y/n’s warm breath on his face. he could only perceive her presence, as the world seemed to fade into nothingness. each second bridged the gap between them being strangers and them becoming involved with one another. whatever would follow, heeseung was nervous for.
but as y/n inched closer and closer to his face, he felt her soft lips make contact with the side of his own. they lightly brushed on the corners of his mouth, making a small notice that they were even there to begin with.
“you had a piece of rice on your face.”
as realization and embarrassment filled heeseung’s entire being, y/n burst out into a fit of giggles.
“oh, you’re so evil for that.” heeseung rolled his eyes. at that, y/n just shrugged.
“i’m just trying to keep you on your toes.”
as the night progressed and their late night conversation continued, heeseung hoped it would stay off the record and jake wouldn’t find out. he felt guilty for basically kissing his friend’s crush. but anothe side of him was glad that it happened, because it made him realize something.
the problem was never what was special about y/n, it was what was wrong with heeseung’s mindset. he realized that liking someone never needed any justification, that the person never had to be perfect for the person’s crush on them to make sense. it didn’t even need to make sense in the first place.
there never really seemed to be anything special about y/n, yet in jake’s eyes she was the most admirable person.
he realized that jake liked y/n because he found all aspects of her beautiful.
and perhaps heeseung was starting to as well.

“It must be lonely.” you always thought. Whenever you see him pass you by in the halls, past you to get to his seat, to get his lunch, or even on his way home, he is never with anyone else. Everyone avoids him and you couldn’t help but feel immense guilt that you’re a part of  “everyone”. Since you were kids, it was already established it would be best no one goes near him “just in case”. Still, you couldn’t help but wonder if he had gotten used to it by now. Everyone’s eyes are always on him, but looking away whenever he looks back. You wondered if he felt creeped out or saddened by that. Or if he even knew. Of course he did, and it was tough to have to learn quickly as a child that you would walk this earth all by yourself. But he did and he’s managed to get this far, even if it still sometimes pops up in his mind. No matter how hard he tried to ignore it and pretend it didn’t bother him, it made him upset deep down to know that things were never going to change.
“You’re staring again.” your friend, Sieun, says as she looks between you and Heeseung. You snap out of your thoughts and turn your head back to her as you finish grabbing things from your locker. “You need to be more careful, if he even looks back at you-”
“Everyone always makes it seem like he has the power to turn you to stone,” you close your locker, shoving the last item you grabbed into your bag, “he just makes people tell the truth.” you say as you zip up your bag and sling it over your shoulder.
“That’s dangerous!” she exclaims, quietly, while leaning closer to you as if she is trying to tell you something nobody else should hear. “Some things are better kept as secrets. Imagine trying to just talk to him and bam! you end up telling him you murdered like, three people last night.” she protests, leaning back and crossing her arms.
You raise an eyebrow.
“Is that really the best example you could come up with? Wouldn’t it be better if someone actually did confess to that?”
She rolls her eyes and shakes her head.
“That’s not the point. He doesn’t need to know everyone’s business, so it’s best to just stay away.”
She links her arm with yours, glancing at him before urging you to start walking with her towards your class together.
It had been like that for as long as you can remember, nobody being able to give you a reasonable explanation as to why you should stay away from him. It never made sense, especially since just being within close proximity of him doesn’t cause you to tell the truth, looking him in the eyes does. You don’t know what they look like, and to be honest, you barely know what he even looks like. You look back at him as you and Sieun walk away. He’s at his locker, reading something with his earbuds in, as usual. You felt your hands squeeze into fists as you lightly sighed. Despite never having an actual conversation with him or knowing anything about him whatsoever, he fascinated you. His head began to shift upward and you quickly looked back ahead of you.
He looked up, not looking for anyone or at anyone in particular. Who would it have been, anyway? Nobody knew him–personally–and he knew nobody. His eyes shifted around until they landed on you, as you were walking away. That was a lie, he does know one person.
“Do you think his parents look him in the eyes?” Sieun suddenly asks, sick of the silence between you two, despite the loud chatter from the others around you.
You sigh, “Why would you even ask something like that?”
She shrugs her shoulders, turning her head to look at you.
“How did they find out?” she asks, as if you had any of the answers.
You look back at her as she turns to look ahead of her again.
“How am I supposed to know that? All I know is that somebody knew and just told everyone else.”
You looked ahead as well, nearing your classroom.
“I wonder how it happened.” she mumbles to herself, genuinely wanting an answer, but knowing nobody has one.
You open the door to the classroom, letting her go in first as you follow, closing the door behind you. You both made your way to your seats, taking them before getting things out of your bag.
“Don’t you feel bad for him, though?” you suddenly asked.
Sieun shrugs, zipping up her bag after gathering her things onto her desk.
“It’s hard to feel bad for him, he’s also not making an effort to talk to anybody.”
You place your things on your desk before looking at her.
“It’s kind of hard to bond with people after they’ve been told to avoid you like you're some sort of disease.”
You lowered your voice a little as the door opened, Heeseung walking through. The classroom went silent as he made his way to his seat, all the way on the back corner of the class. Kids mumbled to one another before going back to whatever they were originally talking about. The classroom was separated, everyone on one side and him by himself. Even the desks were separated far enough from his, kind of cramping the students close together, but no one seemed to mind. Sieun looked away from him, but you continued to stare. You wanted to work up the nerve to talk to him, but it was hard. What if he actually didn’t want anyone to bother him? You would rather he never knew you existed than hate you.
“You’re staring…again.” she says as she opens her book to the right page.
You look away and face forward in your seat, doing the same as she was before the bell rang.
Heeseung looked up, hesitantly glancing over at you. You two had been in the same class since middle school, but have been going to the same schools since you were kids. Of course he knew who you were, you were the only one who wasn’t afraid to even be near him and he may have heard you a few times when you would defend him when other kids were saying something bad about him. He wanted to talk to you, badly, but he wasn’t sure if you were secretly like everyone else: afraid. The teacher walked in and he looked away, not noticing his lips forming a small smile at the thought of you, at the thought of even talking to you. It was stupid, and he knew it was impossible, for you to even remotely think of him like that, but at some point he found every inch of his body hoping you felt the same way about him that he felt about you.
-
“Are you seriously staring at him again?” Sieun asks, clearly annoyed that you weren’t paying attention to her.
You look away from Heeseung, as he sat at his usual table by himself, doing his homework with his earbuds in.
“I just feel so bad.” you mumble as you push some of your food around on your tray.
Sieun groans for an exaggerated amount of time, it only getting louder as she suddenly stomps her feet on the ground out of annoyance. People stare as you set down your utensils and motion your hands to try and get her to stop as you tell her to shush. She does, looking at you like she is fed up. She is, of course. Everyday, you always talk about how badly you feel for him and yet you do nothing about it. Although the topic of discussion for everyone is about him sixty percent of the time, she was genuinely getting tired about how much you seemed to actually be bothered by his loneliness, maybe even more than he was.
“If you want to go and fill your savior complex, by all means, go and sit with him.” she seethes, letting out a huff as she grabs some food before eating it.
You glance back over at Heeseung. The sunlight from the window that was next to his table shone on him, making it seem as though he was glowing. He looked angelic and you felt butterflies erupt in your stomach. He’s just sitting there, but he’s always managed to be the most perfect person in your eyes. You stand up, placing your hands on the table, Sieun looks up at you with her mouth full of food.
“Okay, I’ll go and sit with him.”
She starts coughing, slightly choking on her food. She hits her chest a few times, finally being able to swallow the food.
“What? Wait, are you actually-”
You cut her off by walking over to him. Your steps seemed way more sure of themselves when you were further from his table. You slowly started to hesitate, anxiety starting to shoot through your body as you inched closer to him. You finally managed to just barely make it to his table, ever so slowly taking a seat across from him. The lunchroom fell silent as you were taking your seat and you swore, people could hear your bones creaking if they were to actually do so. Total silence, total utter silence once you managed to finally sit. He hadn’t noticed, he’s too busy finishing up his homework to even see that the girl he has been wanting to talk to for ages just sat in front of him. You were unsure of what to do. Should you interrupt him? Or should you run away and hide from embarrassment because it was starting to look like he was intentionally ignoring you? …was he intentionally ignoring you? You decided not to find out, and filled with regret, you stood up quicker than you sat down. Standing up, however, caused you to bump into the table, shaking it a bit. You froze, you felt your muscles tense up so badly that if someone came up to you and poked you, you would break into a million pieces. He froze too, not wanting to look up and accidentally make eye contact with the person who was standing in front of him. The situation seemed to have gotten worse for you, as you both were frozen and the silence in the room seemed to become more deafening.
“Get. Back. Over. Here!” You heard Sieun whisper shout and although she was trying to have only you hear it, everyone else did as well.
You mentally agree with her, but just as you were going to walk back over to her, back to the safety of your familiar table, he looks up. Even he isn’t fully sure as to why he looks up, considering he rarely ever does, but he does anyway. His head up turns slowly, his heartbeat fastening as his eyes scan your standing figure in front of him. In the back of your mind, you know why you continue to stand there, because you desperately want to see him. Your hand grips the end of your skirt, nervous as his eyes finally meet yours. You gasped lightly and he felt his heart practically burst in his chest. He’s seen you from afar, but upclose, he couldn't have imagined you to be any more beautiful than you are standing in front of him. You on the other hand, you couldn’t stop looking at his eyes. He was captivating, absolutely captivating. There he was, looking at you, and you couldn’t help but feel like you had just made eye contact with the love of your life.
“Beautiful.” you said, louder than you had wanted. It was like his eyes held power over you, squeezing you to say exactly what was on your mind and they wouldn’t stop until you’ve done what they wanted. It didn’t feel evil or forced, it felt like you were secure and just wanted to pour your heart out, letting go of every single burden you kept locked up deep inside.
Chuckles begin to scatter across the lunchroom, making you look away from him. Your head began to spin a little, as if you had just been woken up from a deep sleep. You looked around to see everyone staring at you and already talking about what you had said. Embarrassment begins to set in as your face becomes hot, making you walk away–quicker than you would have if you initially left–over to grab your bag before jogging out of the lunchroom. Sieun stands up to follow you, taking one last bite of her food before grabbing her bag and rushing off after you. Heeseung sat there. Even though he may not have heard you actually call him beautiful aloud, he heard you in his head. That’s just how it works for him, he could never just not know what secret someone has to say no matter how hard he would try not to listen because in the end, the secrets would play in his head as you say them. But this one, this one he didn’t mind one bit. You called him beautiful. He wanted to stop you before you could leave, but you did before he had the chance. “Beautiful.” he replayed your words over and over in his mind. He’s had people confess many things to him before, but no one has ever told him he is beautiful. If you hadn’t left so quickly, he was sure he would have said the same thing to you.
-
“It wasn’t as bad as you think.” Sieun says, trying to reassure you. You grip your hair harder as you groan. “It’s honestly even weirder for you to be sitting on the curb, practically curled up into a ball.” she says, trying her best to comfort you, but failing miserably.
You look up, with a clear expression that what she was saying was not helping despite her efforts. She sighs as she takes a seat beside you.
“I should have known better.” you mumbled, the moment playing over and over in your head.
“Yeah, you should have.” Sieun agrees. You look at her, glaring and she looks back at you. “What?” she asks defensively, “I told you not to go over to him, but you did anyway and look what happened, you said quite possibly the most random thing ever to someone you have never spoken to.”
You groaned again as your head fell back down into your lap. Sieun pats your shoulder, but stops, grabbing your shoulders in order to make you look at her.
“What.” you say rather than ask, simply just wanting to be left alone so you can be swallowed whole by the ground.
“What was it like?” she asks, a sparkle in her eye as if you came back from a treacherous journey that bestowed all of the most powerful secrets into your knowledge.
“Looking him in the eyes?” you ask, wanting her to clarify.
She nods her head, letting go of your shoulders. You look away from her, sighing as you picture his eyes in your head.
“They’re beautiful.” you say as if you’re in a trance, again.  “He’s perfect.”
“My gosh, you’re actually that into him?” she asks, pulling you out of your daze once again.
You look back at her and sigh.
“I don’t know how to explain it, but looking at him–looking into his eyes–I just felt…I just felt like I was meant to meet him.”
“I’m not asking about how badly you have it for him, I’m asking what it was like to have him force the truth out of you.”
You roll your eyes, looking at her.
“It didn’t feel forced, it just felt natural. Like, whatever was on my mind was meant to be shared.”
Sieun pouts and cups her face in her hands, resting her elbows on her knees.
“I should really ask someone who isn’t in love with him what it’s actually like.”
“Then do it yourself.” you suggest.
She scoffs and shakes her head.
“I might end up saying something super personal, I’m not risking it just because I want to find out.”
You felt your heart sink a little.
“Isn’t that sad?” you ask, even though you and Sieun were talking, your question wasn’t directed to anyone in particular, maybe you more than anyone.
“What?” she asks.
You continue to look ahead at the people and cars passing by, but Sieun turns to look at you.
“The fact that no one talks to him because they’re too afraid to say something they don’t want to.”
Sieun looks away from you and stretches her legs out in front of her, looking at her shoes.
“It seems reasonable, to be honest. You already have to live with the secrets you want to keep, but possibly exposing them just to talk to someone? It doesn’t seem worth it.”
“But you can still talk to him without looking each other in the eyes.”
“Wouldn’t that be worse? Wouldn’t you rather not talk to anyone all together compared to never looking at them. I feel like that would just be even more awkward.”
You both sit there in silence for a moment, just listening to tires rolling across the street and the calamity of footsteps from people walking passed mixed with their voices from many conversations. Both options seem equally as bad and you sigh as you do the same as Sieun, stretching out your legs in front of you.
“I think I’d still rather talk to him.”
“Well,” she says, scooting a little closer to you as she rests her head on your shoulder, “it seems like you’re going to have to talk to him anyway, tomorrow.”
You groan, looking down at your hands in your lap. You pick at the corners of your fingers, biting the inside of your cheek.
“I think I’d rather have one of these cars run me over.”
-
“Mom, I’m home.” Heeseung announces as he walks into his house.
He slips off his shoes and puts on his slippers, the sound of footsteps approaching him at the entrance. He looks up and smiles, his mom approaching him before opening her arms for a hug. He steps over to her, accepting her hug and tightly wrapping his arms around her. She does the same, squeezing him before pulling back a little to cup his face in her hands.
“My handsome son, how was your day at school?” she says, using one of her hands to stroke the side of his head before placing it back on his cheek.
He smiles sadly, she always says this, but he can never be sure whether or not she’s telling the truth. She’s the only person who can lie to him while looking him in the eyes because she technically can’t look him in the eyes. And even though he would never admit it to her, he feels immense amounts of guilt whenever he looks her in the eyes, because he took that away from her.
“The same as usual.” he says, trying not to sound like it bothers him.
She frowns.
“They’re all still avoiding you?” she asks in the type of tone that makes you want to just hug her and cry. He smiles, sadly, a small part of him comforted by the fact that she can’t see it.
“Not everyone.” he says, glancing over to see her white cane leaning against the wall. He tuts, glancing back at her before walking over to grab it. “You can’t just keep leaving this here.” he says, walking back over to her and gently placing it in her hand.
“I can walk just fine without it.” she declares.
He reaches out to hold the hand he put the cane in. His fingers slowly wrap around hers and the cane, him rubbing his thumb on the back of it. She smiles, comforted by the feeling.
“Just promise me you’ll at least try.” he says softly.
She smiles, turning to face him from the direction his voice is coming from before nodding her head.
“I’ll try.” she promises.
-
You slowed down your pace as you made your way into the slightly warmer grocery store, letting out a stifled sigh, releasing the cold air you had just inhaled on your walk over. There was no need to scan the signs for a specific aisle to find what you were looking for, you already knew where to find what you wanted. As you made your way slowly throughout the store going to the section where they had the drinks, you basked in the calmness that the store emitted. There weren’t many people there and the beeps at the register along with people talking every now and then felt somewhat comforting. You walked down the drink section, a short one but it still had many options to choose from, your attention fully on the selection as you continued to be in autopilot mode. You mindlessly reached for the drink you wanted when suddenly another hand went for the same drink as you. You stood there for a second, coming back to reality as you realized your fingertips were touching someone else’s. As if you both were sharing the same brain, you both pulled your hands back from the drink at the same time.
“Sorry.” is all the person said.
You weren’t really in the mood to be interacting with others, let alone now having to discuss who was going to take the drink, so you just nodded your head and grabbed the drink, your hands slowly starting to become cold from it. You were about to walk away without another word when you had finally turned to see the person next to you was none other than Heeseung. You stopped, now regretting your rude behavior and cursing at yourself in your head for two reasons. The first: you acting like a jerk in front of him and the second: you having to see him after your encounter earlier today.
Heeseung stands there in the silence created by you two with the low humming of the refrigerators at least filling up some of the empty space. He was confused why the other person wasn’t talking, let alone took the drink, the only thing–might he add–that his mom asks for him to get at the store, without even asking if he wanted it. Feeling annoyed, he looks at the person, not caring if they wanted to say something embarrassing or not (he feels they deserve it now). But his ill intentions come to a halt when he realizes it’s you. He looked away from you as quickly as he could in order to prevent you from getting upset with him looking in your eyes.
“Oh…hey.” he says, just in case you might have thought that he didn’t want to see you when he in fact had been praying up until this moment to get another chance to talk to you.
What were you supposed to say first? A “hey” back or “I’m sorry for making you uncomfortable with my completely random and creepy comment I made about you earlier”? You weren’t sure, but luckily your brain led with a “hey” back as the winning contender.
“Hey…” you say, dragging out the ‘y’, trying to decide whether you saying anything in the first place was the right thing to do.
“So…um…” Heeseung starts.
He has no idea where to take this conversation. All the confidence he had in himself earlier diminished when he actually realized you were standing in front of him. He didn’t want to make you feel uneasy, but he really has no clue how to handle this situation, especially this type of situation with the girl he is practically head-over-heels for. He has been looking down at his feet from the moment he said “hey” and saw you extend the arm with the drink in your hand enough for him to see it.
“Did you want it? I can always just pick another one.” You say, not totally wanting to pick another one, but it felt like he might leave faster if you gave it to him (you felt it would be worse if you were the first one to leave after already trying to ignore him).
He reached for the drink, not fully processing his actions just yet, his hand meeting yours onto the cold bottle. His fingertips once again lightly come into contact with yours and it feels like electricity sparks between the two of you; he feels giddy at the sudden contact with you. He clears his throat, removing his hand from the bottle and looks up (to the side) rubbing the back of his neck with the same hand that just touched yours.
“Uh, no-” he stops, his mom always asks for this drink and he really doesn't want to make her sad. “Actually,” he says, “would it be alright if I did have it?” His eyes shift towards you, as if your presence is a magnet forcing all of his attention to be on you, but he stops himself despite how much he wants to look at you.
“Oh,” you say, trying to hide the evident disappointment in your voice, “sure, I did offer for you to take it after all.”
He takes it from your hand, and places it into the basket full of groceries he was currently holding in the other.
“Are you here for dinner?” he asks, desperately wanting to keep the conversation going, regardless of the rocky start.
“Yeah, my parents sometimes let me get something from here for dinner if they aren’t home.”
He nods his head, wanting to ask so many things, but not sure if you would want to answer any of them.
“Are you making dinner?” you ask.
“Oh, my dad is. My mom wanted something specific, so I’m just getting the groceries.” he says. “The drink is for her, actually. She usually asks for it whenever I go to the store.”
You nod your head, feeling worse for almost taking it. You look at him for a bit, a part of you wanting him to look at you again. Mixed in with the feeling of safety his gaze bestowed upon you, there was a hint of adoration and now that you’ve had a taste of it, you really wanted him to look at you again.
“Do you need help? With taking the groceries home, I mean.” you ask him.
This question catches him off guard. He looks at you, his breath caught in his throat when he looks at you.
“I’m sorry.” you say as you look into his eyes, his gorgeous doe eyes.
“For what?” he asks, raising an eyebrow.
In this moment, he normally would look away to prevent the person from sharing anything more, but it felt as though your eyes were doing what his do to others. He wanted to know more, he wanted to look at you more, he wanted to bask in your gaze for just a moment longer.
“For saying what I said earlier, it was probably creepy.” you say, your face scrunching slightly at the thought of the moment.
He smiled, he smiled like a complete lovesick fool at your expression.
“I liked it.” he admits.
Your eyes go wide and as a result, his smile grows wider in return.
“You…what? you asked, not sure if you were just hearing things or if this was a sign of you having a stroke and you were actually talking to air.
“I liked hearing you call me beautiful.” he simply stated, feeling an immense amount of relief and confidence washing over his body. “Nobody has ever said that to me before.”
“I meant it.”
His smile becomes smaller, as his ears turn a light shade of red. His expressions weren’t able to keep secrets as well because the way he looked at you was with nothing but love.
“I know.”
-
“Oh good, you’re finally home!” Heeseung’s dad announces from the kitchen.
Heeseung smiles at him as you follow in shortly after. His dad’s smile falls into nothing but an open mouth when he realizes his son had brought someone home. That someone also being none other than a girl.
“Hi.” you say, trying to make a decent first impression.
“Hi!” he says a little too enthusiastically back.
Heeseung’s eyes widened at his dad saying ‘please don’t embarrass me’ and his dad nodded his head discreetly, getting the message. “Hi.” he says again, extending his hand as you and Heeseung set down the bag of groceries.
You let out a short chuckle, shaking his hand while introducing yourself. You hesitate to look him in the eyes and he lets out an understanding sigh.
“Don’t worry, it’s only Heeseung.” he says quietly enough in hopes that his son won’t hear him.
“Is Heeseung home?” his mom asks over a tapping sound as she makes her way to the kitchen.
“Yes,” his dad says while making his way past you and Heeseung over to his wife, “and he brought a guest.” he whispers into her ear before kissing her cheek and smiling at her.
You look down, realizing the tapping was coming from a white cane and you look back at her to realize something else: she’s blind. She looks up at him and hits the side of his leg lightly with the cane.
“Really?” she whispers back with excitement.
“And it’s a girl.”
She gasps and looks forward at you, as though she senses your presence.
“Dad.” Heeseung whispers sternly, but his dad only shrugs his shoulders with a sheepish smile plastered on his face.
His mom makes her way over to you and you walk over to her to make it easier. She holds the cane to sit between her arm and the side of her ribcage as she extends her hand to shake yours. You take her hand in yours, a little surprised at how much smaller it is compared to yours and she smiles brightly.
“I can tell she’s pretty.” she says, making Heeseung embarrassed.
“Mom-”
She waves her other hand at him to quiet him and his dad lets out a small laugh.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” she says with the utmost sincerity.
“It’s really nice to meet you too.” you say, with the same feeling.
“She’s telling the truth,” she says as she turns her head towards Heeseung and her husband, she turns back to look at you, “I can tell.”
-
“Have you two been friends for long?” Heeseung’s mom asks as she takes a seat, but not before giving you a plate she had already made for you.
“Oh, no, not very long.” you say as you and Heeseung exchange a quick glance. “But we have been going to school with each other since we were kids.” you added, getting an approving nod from his dad and a proud smile from his mom.
Heeseung blushes a little, feeling his heart swell from the fact that you even have acknowledged his presence since you were kids.
“I’ve wanted to get to know him for a long time.” you say all on your own, being one hundred percent honest.
Heeseung looks at you and you look back at him smiling, “I guess I’ve just been shy.” you say more to him than to his parents.
He looks away and down at his food, feeling as though if you keep making him blush, he is not going to be able to ignore the growing urge to kiss you.
“But people have told you to stay away.” his mom says, not intending to sound as upset by the fact than she comes across. She doesn’t blame you, she thinks you seem fine, but it breaks her heart knowing her son has been alone for so long.
“Honey-” his dad says, reaching to touch her arm, but notices some food on the corner of her mouth. His mouth forms a small smile as he wipes it away with his thumb, causing her to smile in return. He reaches and grabs her hand before kissing her knuckles. She lets out a sigh.
“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be upset with you, I’m just glad he has a friend now.” she says, smiling at you. You return the smile and she lets out a happy hum as if she can see you smiling back at her.
-
If you were able to receive ten cents every time you had Heeseung walk you to the bus stop, you would have ten cents right now. His mom insisted (maybe borderline forced) Heeseung to take you to the bus stop for your “safety” (she really is just his wingman and could tell he liked you and you liked him, but mainly because she and her husband would make comments about the two of you being like a younger version of them).
“Thank you, again, for dinner. You really didn’t have to let me stay.”
Heeseung shyly chuckles.
“Of course we did, you helped with the groceries.”
“I owed you at least that.”
He shakes his head and shoves his hands deeper into his jacket pockets.
“You don’t have to feel embarrassed about it, you know.”
You cringe to yourself.
“Yeah, I think I do.”
You both laugh and fall into a comfortable silence, the sunset from earlier had turned into the dark night sky with stars scattered here and there. The street lamps were now lit and a few, if any, cars passed by on the street. Some stores were closed and others were still open, adding extra light from inside and from their signs. Heeseung turned to look at you, to see how radiant you are, even at night.
“Do you mind if I ask something?” you ask, causing him to snap out of his daydream.
“Yeah, what is it?” he replies, looking ahead again while hoping you didn’t catch him staring.
You stop walking, thinking somehow that would help you muster up the courage to ask the question you wanted the answer to. He stopped as well, worried he freaked you out and you regretted ever talking to him, he didn’t look at you though, he didn’t want to scare you more.
“How are you able to make people tell the truth?”
Normally, he would roll his eyes at this question and feel annoyed. He hated this question more than anything in the world. More than feeling like a constant outcast. More than hearing people stop talking whenever he enters the room. More than looking at his mom and feeling mass amounts of guilt whenever he sees her struggle. For you, however, he didn’t mind you asking. He knew you had no ill intentions behind it and genuinely wanted to know. Hell, maybe you would even consider becoming his friend if he explained what he knew to you. So, he turned around to face you, looking at your forehead, not your eyes, mainly so he wouldn’t have to hear any comments you have to say about what he is going to explain. Not because he had a problem with answering your questions, he was just scared there was a slim chance you would judge him and say you never wanted to speak to him again.
“I don’t know much, nothing like a complete origin story or anything like that. All I know is that one member of my family, for generations, has had the same ability as I do. The most recent one aside from me was my mom…” he trails off.
You stand there, maybe a little more confused than you were before.
“I don’t mean to come across as insensitive,” you say, “but isn’t your mom blind?”
He looks down at his feet, biting the inside of his cheek before letting out a sigh. He nods his head and looks back up.
“Yes…because of me.”
You raise an eyebrow.
“What do you mean?”
He refuses to look at you, especially with what he is about to say next. What if you call him heartless? A monster? A mistake? If not looking at you means that he wouldn’t have to hear something like that coming from you in regards to him, he’ll take that any day, even if it meant ignoring you for the rest of his life. He would rather die with just remembering you calling him beautiful than looking at him with disgust.
“The first child of a person with this ability automatically passes the ability to them. The catch is, they don’t get to keep their vision, they lose it. No matter if the person who originally had the ability is able to actually give birth to the child themselves, they lose their vision once that child is born.”
You stand there, unable to process how something like this is even possible in the first place.
“So when you were born, your mom became blind?”
He nods his head, feeling the guilt already wash over him again.
“That must be such a hard thing to live with.” you say, sympathetically.
He fights the urge to look at you, to find out if you are saying what you really mean or if you are just being nice before you ignore him forever.
“Sometimes…I feel like my dad avoids my gaze because he blames me for it.” he admits.
You shake your head.
“It doesn’t seem like your father resents you for it, I don’t think your mom feels the same way.”
“You’ve only met them once.” he says, not meaning to sound harsh.
“I know,” you say gently, “but I guess all I can say is that I’m sorry you’ve felt so alone for all this time. People have blamed you constantly for something you can’t control and I’m sorry that you’ve had to live not only with this guilt, but with the knowing that others resent you for it. Nobody deserves that, especially not you.”
He looks at you, tears beginning to brim his eyes. No one has ever said anything like this to him before. He’s never told anyone these thoughts, not even his parents. But you managed to say everything he had been longing to hear. Could you be any more perfect?
You felt a new feeling run throughout your body as he looked at you this time, it felt like you could feel his heart beating with yours, and it was beating fast. You became overwhelmed with the feeling of love, him looking at you and you looking at him, it felt like nothing else existed. It felt like destiny.
“I love you.” you blurt out.
Shit.
Shit…
Shit.
Although you hate to say it (mainly because it rarely happens and today it happened twice), Sieun was right. She was so right. Looking him in the eyes is dangerous. Somehow, you had managed to one-up the embarrassing moment from earlier and never in your life had you started praying so quickly that the floor would swallow you whole more than you did in this moment. Who were you to say that? Quite literally, you had never spoken to him before today, and you just said you love him? Are you crazy? Does he think you’re crazy? You would agree, but you would hate if he thought the same thing as you…Shit.
Heeseung is stunned. That might be a little too generic to describe how he feels at this very moment. He is absolutely, without a doubt, one thousand percent gobsmacked. Are you being serious? Of course you’re being serious, you’re looking him in the eyes, what a stupid question. What is he supposed to say? Of course he wants to say it back, of course he wants to cup your face and kiss your lips that he sometimes stares at instead of your eyes, of course he wanted to become your boyfriend and learn anything and everything about you while going on dates and of course he wanted nothing more than to hold you in his arms as he whispered the exact words you just said to him…but he can’t. Never in his life did he think he could never tell you how he felt, especially when you quite literally had just said what he had been dying for you to say, but he can’t. He could never live with himself by making you go through what his parents have to go through. Live with a child that is ignored and hated like him, live with him being blind and that he can never see you or his child grow up, live with the fact that you’ll have to work for the both of you. He could never do that to you. He could never live with himself for being so selfish. The mere thought of you–the only person who gave him an ounce of care and attention, the person he has increasingly adored over the years, the person he fell in love with–resenting him because of the burdens he would cause for you, it made him physically want to vomit.
“I…”
Crap…he can’t break your heart either. This is a lose-lose situation and damn, was he losing. Yes, he was also winning because it was you, you for crying out loud saying you are in love with him. He has to handle this delicately. No, he should just say it and then leave. No, that’s morbid…Shit.
“I don’t love you.” he says, somehow looking you in the eyes.
Big fucking mistake. He could see everything in your expression shift. He could see everything in your face fall and he could see that your eyes were becoming glossy as the tears forming stung them. He so badly wanted to say he is lying, tell you everything he is thinking and have you reassure him again, but that’s just the problem. This relationship would be you constantly reassuring him and he can’t let you live like that. He wants, no, needs for you to be happy and he knows better than anyone that you wouldn’t be happy with him. So as much as it breaks his heart to see that he just shattered yours, he knows (so far deep fucking down) that this is the right thing to do.
Well…this probably couldn’t have gone any worse than you had imagined. This is quite literally the darkest timeline, the worst possible outcome. And damn, did him rejecting you hurt. What are you supposed to do now? Sieun was right (for the third time now), speaking to him was probably the biggest mistake you could have ever made. All you could feel right now was a painful amount of sadness. Your body felt numb and you thought, once again, you were going to have a stroke. You felt embarrassed and hurt and as you blinked, so many tears began to stream down your cheeks which only seemed to result in you becoming angry. Angry that he now is watching you cry as he stands there, not in love with you, but you are so madly in love with him. You look at him, for what feels like the last time, in the eyes and he doesn’t look away, like he wants you to say everything you're thinking. Like he wants to know how badly he has broken your heart.
“I should have listened. I should have never talked to you.”
You didn’t care about what he had to say in return and you didn’t care about what you had just said to him, you were hurt and you took it out on him, sticking it where you know it hurts the most. Evil, maybe, but as you walked away from him, leaving for the bus stop to go home, you couldn’t care any less.
-
“Why are you so quiet this morning?” Sieun asks as you grab the things from your locker, nearly completely emotionless.
“You were right.” you mumble, the words feeling as though they leave a sour taste in your mouth.
Her eyes widen, peaking her interest, she leans closer to you with a smirk.
“Oh really? About what?” she asks smugly. You slam your locker door that she is right next to, causing her to jump back a little. “Ow! Did you not see me or something?” she asks, a little annoyed by what you just did.
“I should have never talked to him, you were right.” you say, biting your bottom lip to stop from crying as you zipped up your bag and put it on.
You had already spent the whole rest of the walk to the bus stop crying, the ride home crying, and the rest of the night crying before you fell asleep. Sure, you barely knew him, but somehow, someway, you fell in love with him and it hurt that the realization that he never fell in love with you came crashing down.
“What happened? Did you already talk to him about yesterday?” she asks, no longer being smug, but now being worried about just how distraught you seem to be about this whole thing.
“Yes. And like an idiot, when I looked him in the eyes, I told him I love him.”
She gasps loudly, loud enough to cause some students to look at you as you pass by them on your way to class.
“You told him you love him? What did he say?”
“What do you think?” you say, trying not to think about it.
“I’m sorry, I know you’ve had a crush on him for a long time.”
“It’s like he didn’t even care.” you say as you two walk into the classroom, towards your seats.
“What do you mean?”
“I thought maybe he at least liked me back, but he just looked at me and told me he doesn’t love me back and while I was standing there, crying, he just said nothing.”
“Not surprising since he probably lacks empathy due to the lack of human interaction.” she mumbles, becoming angry with him.
You had spent so much of your time talking about him and looking at him and defending him that it would be weird for Sieun not to feel annoyed at him. You’re her best friend and quite literally the only person who stuck up for him and he was going to treat you like that? Over her dead body. She isn’t unreasonable, she isn’t saying he has to love you back, but he doesn’t have to be so heartless about it. That jerk.
Heeseung walks into the classroom and the class falls quiet until he takes his seat. He doesn’t look at you. He can’t. He knows how much you now hate him after what you had said to him last night, you were the last person he thought would say that to him, but you did. He knows how badly he hurt you and the fact that he couldn’t make you feel better is something he despises. He does, however, feel eyes on him, but not like normal. No, these eyes feel filled with hate. He looks over and sees Sieun looking at him. By his mistake, he looks her in the eyes.
“Asshole.” she says out loud.
She looks away, feeling a little dizzy after, but satisfied (and relieved) that that is what she chose to say after looking him in the eyes. She got her answer now. She now knows what it feels like to look him in the eyes. Now she has a new question she wants the answer to: how would her fist feel punching his face?
-
“Hey, Heeseung.” Sieun calls out to him in the hall.
She had left you in the classroom because you had fallen asleep during the lesson, so she just decided to let you sleep during the break.
He stops, partly afraid to turn around, but then decides it might be best to just continue walking away. So, he does, with the plan to ignore her.
This only pisses her off more. How rude is this guy? Maybe there are more reasons why people choose to ignore him.
“Hey, asshole! Should I refer to you as only that from now on?”
He stops, knowing there is no escape from this conversation.
“Sieun-”
She cuts him off by turning him around, making both herself and him look each other in the eyes.
“Now, I had made a vow to myself to never look into your eyes, but you need to know that I am being serious with what I am about to say, so listen up you supernatural freak. My friend, she is one of the sweetest people that I know and when she cares about someone, she cares about them with all of her heart. For years she has felt bad for the way people treated you and has been the only one to actually do something about it, she did what no one else would do and that is talk to you. She likes you, a lot, and I’m not saying you have to like her back, but you should at least have the decency to not be a complete jerk about it. You broke her heart, do you even care? You broke the heart of the one person who actually cares about you, congratulations. Do you feel proud?” she says, fury in her eyes.
“I love her too.”
Sieun is taken aback. What is this guy’s problem? She scoffs and lets go of his arms, crossing her own.
“Yeah, right. Then why did you tell her you don’t?” He looks away, he isn’t about to tell her his thought process, she wouldn’t understand, the only person who might–if she still even cares about him–is you. “Whatever your dumb reason is, talk to her, hey–look at me.” He does. “I’m serious, talk to her.”
-
Oddly, Sieun told you she couldn’t walk to the bus stop with you, she said she had to talk to one of her teachers. Since when does Sieun do that? It doesn’t matter, you were left alone, alone with your thoughts and the memories of yesterday clouding your mind.
“Hey.” you heard a now all-too-familiar voice call out.
You stop, feeling your heartbeat quicken as you hear his footsteps approaching. Just the thought of being near him made your heart skip a beat, but you needed to forget all of that now.
“What.” you say flatly. “I have to get home, the bus isn’t going to wait forever.” you say as you already start to walk away.
“I love you.”
You stop again. You turn around meeting his eyes. His beautiful, kind, doe eyes. The eyes, no matter how much resentment you have tried to build towards him, you love.
“You don’t need to lie.” you say.
“I’m not.”
“How would I know? I don’t have the ability you do.”
“You should be grateful for that.” he tries to joke, but it doesn’t work.
How can he make this better? He should have just told you how he feels last night, but he didn’t and he is regretting it even more.
“Am I a joke to you?” you ask in response to his attempt to lighten the situation.
He shakes his head as he steps closer to you.
“I could never think of you as such, I really do love you. So much.”
He notices your eyes beginning to well up with tears and he remembers how you looked last night. His heart breaks at the sight and he takes one of his hands to cup your cheek. He rubs his thumb gently back and forth along your skin, both of you basking in each others’ touch. Every connection with you feels like a shared electricity current. There was no doubt about it, he is irrevocably in love with you.
“Then why did you tell me you don’t?”
He sighs, ready to pour his heart out to you (and ready for you to probably call him an idiot).
“I just…I really did. Believe me, all I really hoped for was for you to feel the same way I do and for you to want to get to know me as much as I want to get to know you, but when you said the words I had been longing to hear, I just couldn’t say them back. I thought about how our relationship would be like my parents and although they love each other, they have to deal with so many burdens and I just couldn’t stand the thought of putting you through any of that. Although we don’t know too much about each other, after all these years, talking to you and looking at you, I feel like I’m meant to love you for the rest of my life.”
Looking into his eyes, there were no secrets you needed to share with him at this very moment. His eyes no longer compelled you to do or say anything, your love for him did. Which is why you took your hands and grabbed the jacket of his school uniform before pulling him closer to you to kiss him. He didn’t need to think about anything else either, it was like his second nature to kiss you back. He finally got to do what he has been wanting to do since last night, which is hold your face in his hands as he poured all of his love for you into a kiss. Gentle, yet filled with passion, your lips moved together as if they were made to connect with each other. Slowly pulling away from each other with one last kiss, the feeling of each others’ lips still lingering on one another, your eyes met.
“Beautiful.” he said, moving one of his hands to move some of your hair from your face, not once looking away from you.
“I didn’t mean it, you know. Looking into your eyes was one of the best things I could have done.”
He smiles, feeling the happiest he has ever been, before leaning back in to kiss you, already missing the feeling of your lips against his.

You purse your lips as you look in the mirror, watching the way the light pink lipgloss transferred from one lip to another. Smiling at the mirror, you appreciated the final look of the hard work you did on your face and outfit, as you slightly adjusted your top.
You took a lot of pride in your beauty, you were very aware of your looks and you knew everyone who you encountered in your life found you pretty. It is obvious to the public’s eye, it’s an undeniable beauty. You were always one to spend hours and hours to make yourself look the best for the most simple activities, you just never knew when you’ll have a pleasant encounter. If needed, anyone could spot you from a mile away with your (mostly pink) bright and sparkly clothes and the big white bows that held your hair in many ways, adorning it in the prettiest way.
Anyone who didn’t know personally would say you were an airhead and a little bit dumb. It’s not your fault people talk about boring stuff that you know nothing about. The way your big doe eyes stared into the nothingness when you listened to someone talk about complex topics revealed that, in fact, there were no thoughts in that pretty head of yours. People often perceive you as someone unintelligent, when that wasn’t true at all, you are just a tiny bit slow. You consider yourself pretty successful seeing that you were in your dream college studying dentistry. You loved going to classes and socializing with people you knew in college. Making friends wasn’t a problem for you, always being a social butterfly since you were a little girl, but sadly there were girls who were mean to you, which often makes you pout to Heeseung when one of them frowns and tells you off, asking him why were they so mean and he just reassures you that they are jealous of your beauty and the fact you were able to score the hottest guy in college, which was not a lie, to be honest.
You loved Heeseung very much, even if you guys weren’t an official item you didn’t see other people and some girls in your school didn’t take that lightly. Both of you had a reputation for sleeping around but in different ways. Heeseung was known for going to parties and just fucking anyone who had a vagina, but never taking them seriously, only seeing them as one time hook-ups. While you were just known for being a hot bimbo who often liked to thank people for favors in a more fun way than usual, like for example, when Jeongin helped you fix your pc setup and you kissed his dimpled cheek and suddenly you were kissing his dick, it happens sometimes and you were fine with that. You had no shame about your sexuality, you were free to do whatever you wanted and to have sex with whoever you pleased.
Getting up from your seat in front of your big vanity, you walked to where your bunny’s cage was. Daisy was your cute bunny, a gift from a previous relationship. You petted her little head promising her cuddles and snacks when you came back. After greeting her goodbye you grabbed your things for class and made your way out of your apartment as your car keys jiggled in your hand.
Reaching campus, obviously only after getting a muffin from the local cafe, you
sighed getting mentally ready for classes. Smiling to yourself, you composed your posture while manifesting the best day you could ever have, not wanting anything or anyone to ruin the perfect mood you woke up with.
As soon as you walked in the hallway you heard people greet you, which you returned with your sweet toothy smile and a wave. Your sweet vanilla scent filled the area and the heels from your platform shoes could be heard, making people’s heads turn to you.
“Hey y/n, love the skirt!” a girl you recognized from biology class said, as she complimented you, making you smile at her and tell her a high pitched thanks in return. You kept walking as more people greeted you. Popularity wasn’t something you seeked but it was something you had, maybe a consequence of your looks or your bubbly personality, which was something people usually took advantage of. It wasn’t something that bothered you in the beginning, when you were unaware of some girls’ intentions with you when they approached you so suddenly asking to be friends with you, but soon, you realized how you were being used by them so they could get with a guy they wanted or just to try and be as popular as you were. Even so, you kept up the nice and humble personality you always had, hence why you were so known amongst students, always showing availability to help others that sometimes wasn’t given in return, making your big heart break a little.
Looking at the time on your phone, it marked 9:30am and you were relieved to see you had a lot of time until class started. You came early today to spend a little time with Heeseung, since your classes didn’t start until 11am. You made your way to the campus cafeteria that was mostly empty aside from people like you who only had classes later in the morning. You sat at a table that had two seats, since Heeseung would arrive at any moment now, knowing him he probably went to hit the gym before meeting you. You decided to distract yourself by playing games on your phone.  As you were doing so, someone walked towards you, making you look up at them. In front of you was one of Heeseng’s teammates that was one year above you, one that he had warned you about, but you being you, still smiled at him.
“Hey, princess. Fancy seeing you here alone.” You cringed at the pet name he gave you that sounded different when it came from Hee’s mouth, but still you kept the smile nonetheless. “Hey, Jihoon! Yeah, it’s nice seeing you too!” You were trying your best not to sound rude, the glint in his eyes didn’t hide his intentions with you.
Flirting with guys for fun is almost a hobby for you, or an old one. Since you started your thing with Heeseung it didn’t happen that much, except in situations where you needed free drinks or discounts at your favorite make up store. Still, you know when to and not to do it and right now, it’s a case where it’s preferable if you don’t do it and it’s making you really nervous. Jihoon had a reputation for stealing other guys’ girls but never in his life did he do it to any of his teammates, especially to Heeseung. He knew it could take his spot in the team away and he worked his ass off to get where he is right now. Besides, everyone knows better than to mess with Heeseung, who was also known for giving good ass beatings when needed to, but at this moment he seemed to forget about it or just didn’t care at all.
Looking behind Jihoon you noticed his friend group seated in a table further from yours, meaning this was probably a planned encounter from their side. Jihoon’s chuckle brought you back to reality, making you look back at him.
“Couldn’t help but notice you look so pretty from afar and even prettier now that i got a closer look.”
“Thanks! I worked really hard on my makeup today.” You answered him looking up at him with your doe eyes, trying to keep up the sweet tone in your voice. Before you and Heeseung started whatever you had going on, Jihoon already claimed you as his “friend” and you did too! In your head the comments he made for you were nothing but nice compliments friends gave each other, but when Heeseung found out about it he didn’t seem happy to know and almost scolded you to stay away from him because boys like him never had good intentions with you. The sound of the cafeteria’s door opening didn’t make Jihoon look back but it made you look, praying it was finally Heeseung, and thankfully your prayers were answered as he walked in looking around, probably trying to find you. You could hear Jihoon’s voice, but you paid him no attention as you saw Heeseung’s face frown when he spotted the man in front of you. Your heart started beating a little faster, as you anticipated the possible interaction between the two men.
“Say how about you and I spend some time alone this Fri-”
Jihoon was quickly cut by the sound of a chair scraping against the ground. He looked to where it came from only to see Heeseung sitting while looking at him with a raised brow. Jihoon stood in his place, obviously not expecting to see your boyfriend, thinking you were gonna be here alone.
“I don’t think there’s anything for you to see here, so might as well make your way out and leave.”
Jihoon opened his mouth to say something but he decided it was best to not say anything for the sake of his football career. As he turned in his heels to walk away, Heeseung got up and grabbed the other man’s shoulder, leaning down to his height and muttering in his ear “I really hope this is the last time I see you talk to her or even come close to it. You and I both know better than letting this happen again, don’t we?” Jihoon’s eye slightly twitched as he shrugged Heeseung’s hand off his shoulder and walked away from where you were.
Heeseung sat back, an angry frown adorned his face. “You took too long!” You said after checking it was already 10am, as you slightly pouted at him while eating the small piece that was left from your muffin. “What did I tell you about Jihoon? I thought I had warned you about him, or did I?” From the way he was talking you could see he was not a little bit happy with the situation but it wasn’t your fault, you couldn’t just be rude to him. “It’s not my fault Hee, besides he did nothing, he was just complimenting me!” Heeseung just seemed to get angrier with your answer, making a pout make its way back to your plush lips. “Y/n, how many times do i need to tell you what his intentions are, geez!” Y/n, he only called you that when he was mad. Why is he getting mad at you when it’s not your fault. You didn’t mean to get mad at him, but the way he was acting with you hurt you a little. You felt your eyes water slightly. “Look Heeseung, I know how to protect myself, I don't need you to warn me about Jihoon or anyone, besides he never did anything to me!” You felt bad talking with him like that, but you weren’t a helpless child, you were a little slow but not dumb. Heeseung’s frown deepened after hearing your words, he should be the one getting mad not you at him. “I don't want to keep having this conversation with you. I’m leaving now.” Heeseung grabbed his bag as he got up to leave. Words weren’t coming out of your mouth no matter how many times you opened it to talk and ask him to stay. As the cafeteria’s door slammed close you felt your eyes water with tears as you flinched at the sound. Pouting your lips, you started wondering why he got so mad when you did nothing wrong.
You understood he was being protective of you but it still broke your heart into pieces when his loud voice echoed back in your mind. A single tear fell from your eyes making you quickly but carefully wipe it so as to not ruin your makeup that you put extra effort in. You grabbed your mini mirror from your bag as you checked your face, smiling when it was still intact. You grabbed your stuff as you decided to text your friends to check if it was available since your class wasn’t until 40 minutes.
—-------------------------------
“And he got really mad at me when it wasn’t even my fault!”
Chaewon and you were sitting in the benches in the open area of campus as you were telling her about this morning's events. Chaewon has been your friend since you entered college and both of you seemed to click instantly when you met at the dorm that both of you decided to move out from, getting your own apartments. You both shared everything with each other, she was your ride or die and shopping partner. She was the first one to know when Heeseung slid in your dm’s and she wasn’t so happy about it. Knowing about his reputation, she always told you to be careful afraid you might get hurt but you always reassured her that he was treating you nicely and after a year of going out with him she stopped nagging about the boy. Hearing this story, Chaewon wanted to give a I warned you type of scolding, but she held herself back seeing you teary eyed as you spoke. She let out a sigh as she put down the cereal bar she was eating.
“Look I really want to tell you that I knew this would happen but I won't. He is being a complete asshole and don’t you dare run to him, he is the one who should be apologizing and if he really likes you he will.” She grabbed your fidgeting hands as she kept talking “Besides, as much as it hurts me to admit it, in a whole year Heeseung never did anything to hurt you and even though this doesn’t justify his behavior, he probably was acting out of jealousy I’m pretty sure he didn’t mean to let it out on you.” You sighed as you looked at her slightly smiling. “Yeah I know that but he still hurt me a lot.” You said as you sniffled and held your tears back. “Anyway, class is almost starting so I’ll get going and you should too.” Chaewon said as she got up and grabbed her things, waiting for you to do the same. You bid her goodbye and made your way to where your class was.
—-------------------------------
You had your head propped in your head as you tried to understand what the teacher was saying, but his words were nothing but background noise as you couldn’t stop thinking about Heeseung. You grabbed your pen as you started to take notes, midterms were close and you couldn’t afford to fail. As you were focused on the teacher's explanation you heard your phone buzz in your bag but ignored it and kept focusing on class. You kept writing and the buzz continued making some heads turn into your direction. You muttered an apology as you grabbed your phone to check who was texting you, seeing Heeseung’s name on your screen.
hee💘: meet me in the boy’s bathroom on the 2nd floor
hee💘: now
You kept staring at his texts not knowing what to do. Chaewon’s words were replaying in your head “don’t you dare go back to him”. You know you should ignore him, but just once wouldn’t hurt anyone, besides she doesn’t need to know about this. Putting your phone back in your bag along with the rest of your supplies, you got up quietly to not disturb anyone. You felt your hands shaking in anticipation as you walked down the hallway making your way upstairs to the second floor. Your legs felt wobbly as you felt the tight anxious feeling forming in your chest, not knowing what to expect from this encounter. You reached the second floor and looked around trying to find the way to the bathroom. As you were almost reaching your destination, you saw Heeseung from afar leaning against the wall as he scrolled through his phone. The sound of your steps getting closer made him look up just to find you looking at him with the does he adored so much, making him try his best to not melt right then and there. He put his phone away and stood straight as he looked you up and down, making you gulp, fearing he might say. Heeseung didn’t say anything as pushed you by the wrist, taking you inside the bathroom. You let your things fall to the ground, as he pushed you against the door, his hand reaching behind you to lock the door as the other made its way around your waist.
Your head was feeling fuzzy as your mind was filled with nothing but Heeseung, the electric feeling of his hands caressing your waist made your heart flutter. Your heart started beating faster as you looked in his eyes, pupils dilated and filled with lust. Your hands slowly made their way around his neck as he leaned his head down to your level. Your noses were touching and he had his forehead touching yours, a small movement would make your lips touch, but still, none of you dared to make a move as you stared into each others’ eyes.
You were the first to break eye contact as you slammed your lips against his’, not being able to hold it anymore, the tension in the air was heavy and it was making you feel like you were out of breath. Heeseung kissed you back with as much force as you did, both of your lips moving together, fitting like a puzzle piece falling in the right place. You felt one of Heeseung’s hands move down to your butt, squeezing the plump flesh there, making you gasp. He took it as an opportunity to slide his tongue inside your mouth, making you leave a quiet moan inside his own mouth. His tongue moved in sync with yours, entwined and fighting for dominance. Your hands started moving as if on their own, sliding down his body until they reached his belt, pulling his hips against your own. You moaned at the feeling of his slightly hardened length, one of your hands leaving its palace from the belt and coming to his front to rub at his boner, making him hiss in your mouth.
The room was filled with sounds of your lips smacking against each other along with the sounds you both let out. Hesseung’s hand left your waist as it slowly moved down your torso towards your tight, squeezing the flesh there. His hand slid to the inside of your thigh, the feeling of his hand making your skin crawl with chills as his hand moved further, touching your clothed core, feeling the outline of your slit. His thumb applied pressure in your clit, just enough to make you pull away from the kiss, gasping for air and turning your head away from him. Heeseung started leaving kisses on your neck, reaching for the spot he knew made you crazy as he left marks along the side of it, making you moan out loud at the feeling of his lips along with his thumb on your clit.
“Already going dumb for me, huh baby?” He said as he smirked against your neck, making you hide your face in his neck in embarrassment. “Nuh-uh, don’t shy away from me now baby. Look at me, baby.” You took your face from his neck, leaning your head back against the door as you looked up at him. Heeseung smiled at you, taking both of his hands to cradle your face against his palms. “You know I love you right?” You nodded, smiling at him, as your face leaned against his touch. “And I love you, Hee, so much.” Heeseung leaned his forehead against yours, closing his eyes, as he left a breathy chuckle. He connected your lips again, swiping his tongue against your lower lip, making you open your mouth as his tongue made its way to yours. His hands started going inside your top, moving up to your bra, as he started massaging your breasts, you started moaning inside his mouth, muffling the sounds you made.
“Hee, just take my shirt off, please.” You whined against his lips as he chuckled at your eagerness. He pulled away from your lips and pushed your shirt up, taking it off of you with ease. You pulled him to kiss you again, as his hands snaked around your back, unclasping your bra, moving it down your arms and letting it fall freely onto the floor. His mouth moved from your lips to your neck, trailing down to your collarbones, marking the area, leaving trails of spit as he started kissing down to your nipples. His mouth automatically closed around your left nipple, sucking the small nub as his free hand moved to massage and pinch the other. Heeseung’s mouth was making loud wet sounds, mixing in the air with your breathy moans. You rubbed your thighs together, desperate for friction, feeling your underwear stick against your core.
“Hee, please, I need more.” You whined as you twisted and turned against the door. “Please what baby, need you to be specific, angel.” He said as he moved his mouth to your other boob, a trail of spit connecting it to your now abused boob from all the biting and sucking. You whined in complaint, your brain already not functioning completely as the only thing you could think about now was how much you needed Heeseung’s cock or fingers. “Need your fingers, please Hee, just give me something.” The desperation in your voice was noticeable and Heeseung spent no time in pulling your skirt down along with your panties, leaving you naked aside from your shoes and pink lacy socks that you loved so much.
Heeseung picked you up and sat you down in one of the toilets inside the stalls. He kneeled down in front of you, putting your legs on his shoulders, giving him a perfect view of your raw and glistening cunt. He licked his lips as he looked at you, seeing the neediness in your eyes. He started kissing the inside of your thighs, alternating between licking and biting the flesh, making you whine at the pleasure the pain gave you. You felt his breath hitting your pussy, making you shiver from the feeling and shudder in anticipation. His thumbs moved to your labia, as they pushed your lips apart, fully exposing you to him.
“Hee, please, I can’t wait anymore, I beg you.” Your whines were getting louder, leaving little to the imagination of anyone who passed by. “Baby I will do anything you want, but I need you to be quiet, can you do that for me?” You nodded, not being able to form coherent words even if you tried.
Heeseung finally let his mouth fall against your pussy, as his lips found their place around your clit, sucking the swollen nub, making you bite your lip to try to hold back your moans, your hands tangled in his hair, needing something to grasp onto. His tongue started making figure 8 in your nub, your toes curling at the pleasure he was giving you, your mouth fell open into an O shape as breathy moans slipped past your lips. Heeseung’s mouth left your cunt, making you whine at the loss, one of his hands making their way to your gaping hole, rubbing your entrance and slipping a finger inside with ease, thrusting it inside and out. You throw your head back in pleasure and let out a broken whine, making Heeseung’s move come to a halt. Your head coming back up as you looked at him, grinding your hips against his fingers, trying to get him to move.
“If you don’t keep it downI’ll just stop right here and take care of myself and make you watch, got it?” His threat made you gulp and nod quickly at his words. You gasped as his finger started moving again at a faster pace. “Please, more, Hee. Give me more!” Your voice came out as a whisper, feeling like if you talked louder your voice would betray you. Heeseung complied with your request as he inserted another finger inside your leaking hole. You bring your hands against your mouth, trying to muffle the noises, as you feel yourself getting closer to your high. Your walls were tightening against his fingers as you felt the knot form in your tummy. Heeseung felt that and he put his mouth back on your clit, sucking the poor nub, aiding you to reach your high faster. One of your hands made their way back in his hair, pulling the hair, feeling the knot almost bursting.
“Hee, I’m so fucking close, don’t stop. Oh, please, don’t stop.” You breathed out as your chest heaved with pleasure. Little high pitched whines started escaping your mouth, getting louder and louder as you got closer. “Fuck, Heeseung, I’m gonna cum! Shit Hee, I’m cum-” Your didn’t even get to finish your sentence as you reached your climax, arching your back away from the toilet, feeling your walls pulse aggressively around Heeseung’s fingers. He moaned as he tasted your cum against his tongue, his fingers still moving, helping you ride out your orgasm. When you got more calm, Heeseung took his fingers out, pushing them inside your mouth making you lick them clean as his mouth licked your pussy clean, making you choke on his fingers when you tried to gasp from overstimulation.
Heeseung pulled back, smirking as he looked at your fucked out state. You pulled him by his neck, slamming your lips against his, tasting yourself in his tongue. You both were moaning in the kiss, you needy more and Heeseung needing to relieve the raging boner that was pushing against his pants, almost painfully. You pulled away from the kiss, breathless and gasping for air. You looked down to his crotch seeing his boner, now more prominent and definitely rock hard. Poor baby held back this hold time, you thought.
“Hee, I want to suck you off.”
“There’s no time for that, classes are almost ending and I just want to feel your pussy right now.”
“But i wan-” Heeseung cut you off by slamming his lips against yours. You instantly fall into his touch, your hands immediately make their way inside his shirt, feeling his abs against your touch. You started to pull his shirt up, making him pull away from you to take it off of him. Your lips connected again, needy moans leaving both of your lips and your noses bumped against each other. Your hands fumbled around his thighs as you finally found his belt and started unbuckling it, undoing his button to finally push his pants down enough to reveal his boxers, both too needy to take them off completely. Your hands palmed and squeezed his cock, making him groan against your lips and roll his hips against your hand. your hands wrapped around the waistband of his underwear to pull it down, freeing his cock making it slap against his abs, staining them with pre cum. You pulled away from him to look at his cock, mouth watering at the sight before you. You never had seen such a pretty cock, curved just the perfect way, with one vein adorning the underside, going from the base to the tip. You raised your hand to wrap around the base, tightening it around his member and moving it up until it reached the tip, watching as a bead of cum spilled from his tip. You started moving your hand up and down his length, making him hiss as he threw his head back.
“Fuck baby, you’re so good for me.” He said as he looked at you, making you smile sweetly at him, feeling fuzzy on the inside as you kept your movements steady. “Shit. Baby, come here, if I don't get inside you right now I’ll go crazy.”
Heeseung picked you up once again, you automatically wrapped your legs around his waist as he pushed you against the wall. Your hands were around his neck as he grabbed his cock and aligned it with your entrance.
“Are you ready, baby?”
“Yeah, go on.”
With your consent, Heeseung slid himself inside you with ease, a slick sound echoing in the stall as he buried himself completely inside you, making you open your mouth as a silent moan left your mouth as he put his face on the crook of your neck. He started moving at a slow pace, making you throw your head against the wall from the delicious feeling his cock gave you. His slow movements never faltered, not failing to make you squirm in his hold, but still you needed more.
“Hee, please faster.” You pleaded, needing more from him.
“You’re one needy slut, aren’t you? Always asking for more, mnh?”
Despite his words, Heeseung adjusted your position in his arms before he started slamming his hips against yours. Instantly, you hid your face in the crook of his neck to muffle the sounds that escaped your lips. The sound of his balls hitting your ass echoed in the stall and could possibly be heard by anyone standing close to the door outside. Gasps were leaving your lips, combining with Heeseungs low groans against your own neck. The squelching sound coming from your pussy was like music to Heeseung’s ears, making his dick twitch inside you, causing you to let out a loud moan. Your nails scratched down his back enough to make it bleed a little and your brain was numb from all the pleasure you had received today, feeling grateful for Heeseung and his perfect cock.
Heeseung changes his position slightly, making the tip of his cock hit the spongy spot inside you, making you clench tightly against his throbbing cock. You were bouncing up and down in his length, your tits bouncing right in front of his face, making his lean down to put on of your nipples in his mouth. The feeling of his tip repeatedly hitting that spot along with the friction his pelvis caused against your clit, made you feel the familiar knot form again, making you lean back fully against the wall as Heeseung’s thrusts started getting sloppy, meaning he was also close.
“Heeseung I’m going- fuck”
“I know, baby, me too. Cum with me, baby. Can you do that?” You nodded at his words, feeling yourself clench again. Heeseung’s hand came down to where your bodies met and he started rubbing your clit in fast motions, making you get closer to your high. Your breath started getting quicker with each thrust. Your tits bouncing with every movement you and him made.
“Fuck. Hee, I’m so close, shit!” You said as you felt your clit pulsating. “Shit, come for me baby, fuck.”
You did as he said as you felt yourself cum, gushing your essence all over his cock. Your legs were shaking and your hands were squeezing his biceps as you. His release coming right after yours, feeling his cum paint your walls, the warm liquid starting to form a white ring around his base. Heeseung moaned as you both rode out your highs, hissing from the slight overstimulation.  He slowly pulled out of you, watching as your pussy filled with his cum started slowly leaking.
The post climax reality was hitting you and you felt a pang in your chest, reminding yourself that you should be mad and hurt at him. Heeseung felt the shift in your mood, knowing very well why you were feeling like this. Before he did anything, he helped you clean up, grabbing toilet paper to clean your thighs and cunt, making you hiss from how sensitive you still were, which made him whisper a small apology before he kissed your cheek. After you both were clean you picked the clothes scattered across the floor, leaving the stall you checked yourself in the mirror seeing you red and slightly sweaty, ready to make the walk of shame as you heard the bell ring just in time.
Before you could leave Heeseung grabbed your hand making you look at him.
“Um listen, you probably think I'm a jerk right now, which you have all the right to, but I want you to know that I am genuinely sorry. What I did to you was not right, I was acting out of pure jealousy but it doesn’t mean I should have let it out on you. I love you and I am sorry, angel.” He said as he looked down ashamed at himself. You smiled at him, happy that he was able to recognize his mistake. “I forgive you Heeseung, even if you hurt me a lot. What you did left me really sad and hurt, but we both know I love you too much to not forgive you. Now we should get going, everyone is leaving class.” Heeseung nodded at you grinning like an idiot in love as he bent down to your height, giving you a long peck, making you smile in the kiss.
Heeseung grabbed your hand and unlocked the door as you both made your way out. When Heeseung opened the door, he was faced with a student who just wanted to use the bathroom ,ready to push past him until he saw you behind the taller man. You looked up and smiled, waving your manicured hand at him.
“Hi Jihoon!”

eleven.
warning; 😳😳😳😳😳 0.9k words. masterlist.
“it’s gonna be so much fun this weekend, especially with you here! thanks for coming with me so last minute~”
“should i even be here?” you laugh, eyeing the massive beach house you’re currently standing in, “i mean i won’t know anyone.”
“you know me and besides, you know wooyoung!”
ah jung wooyoung. of course you know him, the boy your best friend had been fucking the past few months, around the same time you met heeseung actually.
funny thing is, heeseung and wooyoung were roommates. small world yet you’ve never actually ran into wooyoung at heeseung’s place before. thankfully.
“i’ll go see what else is in the car to bring in,” you leave eunji be in the huge kitchen and head to wooyoung’s car out front.
it was his birthday and he had rented out a massive beach house for the weekend to hold celebrations. knowing how popular he was, you were a little hesitant to come along but after finding out heeseung wasn’t coming, you decided why not.
it wasn’t like you disliked heeseung in any way but the thought of being in such a close space with him for an entire weekend just didn’t sound too great.
“oh my god...” you sigh at the sight in wooyoung’s boot. boxes of alcohol, loads and loads of it.
and of course with your impeccable estimation skills, the box you go for is much heavier than expected, causing you to fall backwards while trying to lift it. your eyes go wide but not because you’ve crashed onto the ground like expected but rather because you’ve just fallen back into someone’s arms
“thank you-”
“where is wooyoung? why is he making you do this?”
your words are immediately caught in your throat the moment you hear that voice. you could recognise that voice anywhere, especially with it being right in your ear.
“hee... heeseung?” you were quick to turn, your eyes now on the very owner of that name, “i- i thought you weren’t coming?”
a grin instantly dawns his face as you ask your question, seemingly amused by it, “that’s why you came? because i wasn’t?”
“what- no- that’s not what i meant.”
you were stuttering, fumbling almost every one of your words and he definitely caught on. the man makes sure you’re stable before retrieving his arms to go carry a few boxes inside by himself, without another word.
the last thing you expected was for him to show up and now that he has, you’re unsure how to act. were you supposed to talk to him or act like you didn’t know him at all?
probably the latter. for the better.
as he busies himself stacking the alcohol in the now empty kitchen, you slip out to the back deck unnoticed, busying yourself with hosing down random furniture. you’re certain they’ll get dirty again once the party begins but it’s better doing this than being inside with heeseung. alone.
“do you need help?”
heeseung’s sudden voice causes you to jump, your entire body whipping around so fast that you end up aiming the hose directly at the man. your mind was so focused on him to even notice the real him coming out a moment before.
“oh my god- i’m so sorry! i’m so sorry!” you squeal as his entire outfit gets drenched in two seconds.
instead of being annoyed like you expected him to be, the man only smiles and reaches out to grab the hose from your hand. you were so startled to realise you hadn’t turned off the hose or even aimed it away from him, instead allowing the water to continue splashing everywhere.
“maybe i should take this,” he turns turns it off, a wide grin still on his face.
you feel so bad, you can’t even look at the man. not until you suddenly hear him laughing, much to your surprise.
the sight really took your breath away the moment you glanced up at him. right in front of you stood a dripping wet lee heeseung, his poor white shirt now clinging onto his body for dear life. that toned body of his that you’ve seen so, so many times before. that toned body of his that is usually pressing against yours, trapping you down as he did so many unspeakable things to you.
the mere thought has your cheeks immediately heating up, your eyes unable to look his way but for a very different reason now.
“i’m so sorry hee. go change and i’ll dry these for you.”
“you’re not exactly dry either.”
you follow his line of sight to see that your own clothes were indeed soaked, your own dress also clinging on for dear life, emphasising your bra and panty line even more.
the two of you share a silent look before bursting out into a fit of laughter over how stupid the situation was. it was nice, it felt nice, to be able to have such light hearted moment with him despite all your worries of him being here.
“guess there’s no need for this,” he pulls the shirt over his head in one go, leaving his top half completely on display for you to see.
gulp.
guess it’s going to be a long weekend after all.
end.

You clutched the stuffed animal in your hand that heeseung had won for you as you walked through the park per his request. “You’re really happy about that stuffed toy.” He said. “Be careful people might think you’re crazy and on a date with that thing instead of me.” You rolled your eyes pouting. “don’t call my child a thing, he has a name.” You said, the boy laughed. “yeah, what is it?” you thought for a while, before shrugging. “well I won him, why can’t he be named after me?”
You shook your head no, smirking menacingly, looking back at him. “I like the name sunghoon.” His face dropped. “That’s not funny.” He said flatly. “It’s a little funny.” You said. “not even remotely.” He tried to walk a head of you. “yah! Don’t leave me.”
“Stop walking so fast.” You grabbed his arm. “say your sorry and i'll slow down.” You whined, and he started speeding up again. “okay! Okay.” You shouted. “im sorry.” You said , and he stopped turning to you. “I won’t name him after sunghoon.” You said. “and?”
“And we can name him heeseung.” He smiled. “thank you,  that’s all I ask.” You rolled your eyes. “can we sit, I tired from chasing after you?” he nodded , finding a bench to sit on near the water. “here lets sit here.”
“did you have fun.” He asked — his eyes filled with so much nerves. “i won’t give you so much credit.” He frowned. “but I had a lot of fun.” You said, lightly punching his shoulder. “you remembered how much I love amusement parks.”
“of course! We used to go all the time after classes.” He said — remembering how you’d drag him whenever you had the chance, riding all the rides you could and eating the food until it was time to go home. “we had so much fun back then.”
You smiled — quickly frowning, it was fun hanging out with heeseung — but you couldn’t help but remembered why you stopped doing those things in the first place. “we did have fun back then didn’t we?”
He saw the change in your mood. “you okay?” you nodded, he kissed the back of his teeth. “it’s been 5 years since we hung out , not 50, I can still tell when you’re upset and lying about it.”
“Why are you doing this?” you said. “doing what?” He questioned. “this ,being nice to me, wanting to go on a date — I mean even as high schoolers you didn’t want to be anything more than friends, now all of a sudden you want to flirt and date me, even after that situation.”
He knew this was gonna come up and he thought he was ready , but he suddenly couldn’t speak. “I want to forgive you, I really do, but I need at least an explanation, is this just a joke between your friends because — it’s not I promise.”
“Then tell me what it is.” You said. “I’ve always liked you yn, even when were in high school.” He said. “I didn’t say anything because I didn’t think you’d like me back , I mean we both what I looked in 9th grade.” You dry laughed. “but then things changed, I didn’t mean for them to, they just got out of hand.”
“you really hurt me heeseung, you were my only friend, I stood by you for everything.” You felt tears welding in your eyes. “and for you to say all those horrible things, and that our friendship meant nothing.” He wrapped his arms around your body. “im sorry.”
It was silent — both of you didn’t say anything as you say on the bench. He finally spoke up. “im so sorry I hurt you.” He whispered into your hair. “I'm so fuckin stupid yn.” He wiped your wet cheeks. “I’ve been waiting for the longest time to tell you that.” He said. “for the past 5 years that’s all I wanted to tell you.”
It felt like a weight had been lifted off both your shoulders. “please forgive me.” He said , squeezing your hand. “I’ll try my best to quit, I swear.” You wanted to believe him — it was only 5 days, but it was longer than you’ve ever seen him in 5 years. “you’d really quit?” you asked. “for you? Of course I would.”
You both began to get cold , so you found your way back to his car — making your way back to your dorm. He parked outside your building, not really wanting to let you out. “I’ll pick you up tomorrow and take you to school.” He said , you nodded. “good night heeseung.”
You undid your seat belt opening the door. “Let’s go baby heeseung.” He laughed. “are you really gonna call it that?” you nodded. “of course , he’s our child.” You said , quickly reaching over to kiss his cheek his eyes widening. “wh-what—” before he fully say something you got out of the car.
“yah! You can’t just run away after doing that.” you turned waving. “goodnight!” you shouted, he watched you go into the building , before driving off a big dopey smile plastered on his face.
