Keep looking at me like that and we're gonna start a bloodline that leads to the founding of the Hidden One

Look, I totally get that if you role-played Kassandra or Alexios as exclusively gay, the forced relationship with Natakas/Neema is bullshit and Ubisoft never should have done that. Even the later patch only marginally makes things better at the cost of Kassandra/Alexios being super OOC for suddenly caring enough about their bloodline to have a baby with someone they don’t love.
That being said, if you role-played your Eagle-Bearer as bisexual like I did for Kassandra…… I honestly believe Kassandra and Natakas had the best written romance in Odyssey. Especially if you romance as many people as possible because a lot of those romances either end up being flings or end in tragedy (unless you’re a horrible person and straight up lie to Kyra about killing Thaletas).
We basically have the story of a badass misthios who’s extremely good at killing but also a hopeless romantic who falls in love very easily and who’s every attempt at love either peters out or crashes and burns around her. Now here comes someone who more or less lives the same life. Someone who more or less can keep up. And this is someone who looks at you like you’re Aphrodite and Athena mashed together.
Someone who sticks around long enough for you to build a family. And depending on how the Deimos story ends, that can be an even bigger deal than it already is.
From the way I role-played Kassandra, I got someone who longed to share her life of adventure with someone, tried and failed so many times to hold onto that, finally getting exactly what she wanted… which makes it all the more tragic when it’s all torn away from her.
Again, it’s absolute bullshit that Ubisoft forces that narrative on you. I can totally understand why that would absolutely kill any value anyone could find in this entire DLC. You are right to be pissed about it.
But for someone who kinda naturally chose that narrative… I have to be honest with myself and say that I absolutely loved it.

Currently playing the Legacy of the First Blade DLC from AC: Odyssey and you know its bad when the developers itself apologize for it.
The DLC is actually cool. The problem really is they making Kassandra fall in love for that guy, outta nowhere. I mean is not that your choice to make her lesbian or not in the gameplay didn't matter, but also REALLY? THAT FUCKIN GUY? she met her for a day and already was falling for him like what the actual fuck?
Also they have like no chemistry at all. "but Lara you're just being a angry lesbian" yes but I'm also not blind, fuck, she have chemistry with Brasidas , with Alcibiades too. Shit she have more chemistry with Darius
Anyway. I did everything like all the choices for her to not engage with Natakas romantically , so in my canon she just did that to have a kid so her lineage would go on. And you know why they haven't chemistry at all? Because Natakas is gay. Yes, a lesbian and a gay men. After all that Kassandra still went to live a happy live with Kyra. That's my canon

As a premier Kassandra enjoyer I have a question for you. I’ve been going through odyssey for the first time, and am rapidly approaching dlc territory. I’m not sure if I want to get the Legends of the first blade dlc. On the one hand, more Kassandra, on the other hand, a weird baby plot line.
I don’t know if you ended up playing it, or if you even have strong opinions on it, but I thought I would do a quality check before committing money to it. Is it worth buying despite being Like That?
Have a cool day, and continue having good taste in fictional women.
Hi sweetie! So I bought the Fates of Atlantis DLC and thought it was absolutely incredible, but I flat out refused to buy LotFB out of principle.
While I have not participated in or watched gameplay of that DLC, I do know that the baby plotline completely erases any autonomy the player previously had in Kassandra's sexual orientation, by forcing the playable character into a relationship with someone of the opposite gender/sex. That and the handling of the baby after Kassandra endured, well, pregnancy, is completely uncharacteristic. This was enough to dissuade me from getting it.
From the Steam reviews I've read (the current positive to negative ratio is 615:944 as it stands, which is indicative of something) apparently this isn't the only disappointing and forced element to the narrative, either. Most reviews that don't focus on the forced relationship talk about how the hours you spend playing it feel inconsequential, and that the overarching plotline is derailed and contradicts/invalidates the base game's story. As for the positive reviews I've read, the ones that aren't blatantly homophobic towards people who didn't enjoy it don't detail anything of note that made the experience enjoyable for them. This doesn't invalidate their experience of course, but it also doesn't present a compelling reason to buy it, you know?
I think if you're intrigued by the storyline but wary of the commonly criticised elements, it would be safest finding a let's-play on Youtube rather than spending your money on it. Completely up to you, though. Have a lovely day yourself, and likewise, your taste in fictional women is top-notch <3

I just finished playing "Legacy of the First Blade" and I want to throw myself at Darius (Artabanus).
I realise I have a thing for silver foxes but he has the most captivating eyes. I need a long riding session staring in each other's eyes.
If he lets me calling him daddy even better ❤️

Hold on imagine if we saw this sword in a scene other than a flashback.
First Spinjitzu Master's Sword of Light and Creation? That'd be hella cool.

Just finished the Legacy of the First Blade DLC from AC Odyssey and it's amazing.
It has mostly great characters and gameplay. Literally the one bad aspect of it is Natakas and the whole forced heterosexuality in Kassandra. Natakas was a terrible , whole there to u know....Darius in the other hand was a great character. If Natakas was built and develop more like his father, it would be better.
It's sad that Kassandra couldn't live with her son but I bet that she was watching for afar. Without him noticing.
