Rules: - Have fun! - Change the goals and skills to suit you and your game! - Go in whatever order you'd like! - Updated for packs out in March 2024
Snapshot of 8 more gens under the cut ~ *Rules focus on very loose gameplay style and draw inspiration from the princess tales. They are not exact copies and a lot of the movie plot points to do not transfer over to the sims. If you want to play more faithfully to the movie adaptions, please feel free to disregard any rules you do not like/have packs for. *A lot of gens have similar rules/skills they follow. Feel free to skip around to gens you are more interested in playing *Check back as rules are constantly being updated as I play through the challenge myself

► NOT SO BERRY x BERRY PASTEL RAINBOWCY - AN UPDATED VERSION
as some of you might know, I've written updated versions of the not so berry challenge and the berry pastel rainbowcy before. however, I keep wanting to switch between the two challenges or abandoning my one save for the other. so, on a random Monday evening I figured, why not combine the two for the ultimate updated challenge experience? my lovely fellow simmers over at @berrygameplay convinced me to write stuff down and... the NSB x BPR updated rules was born!

►WHAT ABOUT THE RULES
as with my two other updated challenges, i've written the rules in a google doc (that you cannot edit! stop asking for permission to edit the file!). if you want to save the rules for yourself, go to file > create a copy and you're able to save the rules wherever you want and edit them. this will not change the original document.
there are disclaimers, a list of packs you need for this challenge (most packs are optional) and an index to move through generations quickly. each gen has their own introductory story (you don't have to adhere to these stories!), required traits - aspirations - careers, the generational rule (bpr), reward traits to buy, and the list of objectives catered to that generation. feel free to edit these objectives to your hearts desire! this challenge is supposed to be fun :)

For easy access and to show an example of the rules, here are the first generation’s rules all written out. If you want to look at the other generations, click on the “send me to the rules” link!
generation one: white
coming from a long line of privileged sims, you’re ready to break away from your family and pursue your own dreams. you’ve only really felt close to your grandparent and never told anyone you were the sole heir to their old, rundown farmhouse. starting off with nothing, you pick up the hobby you were never allowed to put into practice: painting. you find it difficult to let other sims in and may come across as rude sometimes. you just need that one special sim to make you feel like it’s all worth it. slowly but surely, your own family starts to grow, but not without its ups and downs…
traits: creative, mean, [open slot]

career: none (sell paintings, produce, and harvestables)

Hollywood Dream Legacy Challenge
Have you ever wanted to live a life (and lives) like a celebrity? Then this challenge in made for you! In this one, I decided to play a little more with the Get Famous expansion pack, while giving some twists and turns to create a fun little narrative to follow along. I’m aware that some of the careers mentioned don’t provide any fame, but I decided to add it anyway for the sake of the plot. So, if you think it’s necessary, the Road To Fame Mod can help in some of these.
This is my first ever legacy challenge, and I haven’t seen any other like this, but if you feel like there are similarities with another, please let me know!
Obs.: Everything the mentioned below can be modified to your liking if you want to!
Packs Needed: Get Famous, Get to Work, Discover University, Parenthood (optional)
 Rules:
- Start with less than $2000
- Cheats that don’t give any extra advantage over other players are allowed
- You must complete every goal before moving on to the heir
- There are no specific rules regarding who should be the heir, but if you want to, you can follow some of the rules from the original Legacy Challenge.

GEN 1: Aspiring Star
Your childhood was never filled with comfort. Coming from a poor home, you’ve always had the dream of making it big on the silver screen to finally get out of the chains that have been restraining you to an unknown and miserable life. When finally being able to achieve everything you’ve ever wanted, you promise to give everything you’ve never had to your kids.
 Traits: Ambitious, Creative + 1 Optional
Aspiration: Master Actor/Master Actress
 goals:
Start with little to no money.
Start an acting career.
Become a worldwide celebrity during your lifetime.
Marry your first boyfriend/girlfriend.
Master the charisma, acting and parenting skills.
Complete the Master Actor/Master Actress aspiration.
 GEN 2: Nepo Baby
Whilst having an average childhood, once your parents achieved fame everything became much easier. Being very loved and very spoiled opened a gate of possibilities to your life, and since fame and money wasn’t something you’d want to get rid of, you decided to pursue a show-off life, becoming an influencer. But once your progenitor got too old to even acknowledge your career, it was time to follow a serious lifestyle in order to maintain your family’s legacy.
 Traits: Snob, Materialistic, Overachiever / *Perfectionist
Aspiration: Successful Lineage
 goals:
Have minimum level 3 in all Toddler skills.
Have a negative responsibility value.
Get halfway through the stylish influencer career.
Master the charisma and logic skills.
Go into the management career branch of Business.
Become a Business Tycoon.
 GEN 3: Moves Like Jagger
Being part of a famous dynasty always brought you a sea of advantages. Having your whole life in the spotlight isn’t always a good thing, but it’s undoubtable comfortable. With all the fame, it was time to follow your greatest dream of becoming a musician. Your last name not only gave you privilege, but also a great deal of attention, which you decided to enjoy in the best way possible: becoming a serial dater (a very irresponsible one).
 Traits: Music Lover, Non-Committal, Hates Children
Aspiration: Musical Genius
 goals:
Master 3 music-related skills.
Never marry.
Have 3+ kids with different partners.
Achieve at least 4-star fame while being a musician (‘Road to Fame’ mod recommended).
Master the Musician career.
Complete the Musical Genius aspiration.
 GEN 4: The Outcast
Growing up in a troubled home wasn’t something you’d wish for. One of your parents had multiple kids and neglected them equally, which led to a survival fight of who could gain more attention. Since the beginning you promised to never follow into your parent’s footsteps, so the moment you found out you were going to have a kid, you promised to protect them fully, what also meant stepping off the spotlight. With time, money started to run low, so you had to do the unimaginable to maintain your family’s living standard, while also taking good care of your partner and your children.
 Traits: Self-Assured, Family-Oriented, Kleptomaniac
Aspiration: Public Enemy
 goals:
Master the mischief and parenting skills.
Have 100% friendship and romance with your partner.
Never have any fame points.
Earn at least $1000 stealin.g
Go into the boss branch of the criminal career.
Die before becoming an elder.
  GEN 5: Starstruck
You had very loving and attentive parents during your childhood, but one went away too early due to their criminal pathway. Whilst looking back in their life, you stumbled across your famous ancestors. Determined to turn your life around, you try to become a famous actor/actress just like your great-great-grandparents, but unfortunately, your late parent history got in between, which led to a bad fame/reputation. Eventually, you give up on your great dream and decide to live an ordinary life.
 Traits: Ambitious, Self-Absorbed, Loner
Aspiration: World-Famous Celebrity
 goals:
Master the mischief and acting skills.
Never complete the World-Famous Celebrity aspiration.
Have a bad fame.
Go to law school.
Max the lawyer career.
 GEN 6: Disney kid
Since your parents couldn't make it big, you were forced to become a star since the beginning. Working hard wasn’t really a choice, so you hung onto it without ever complaining, but with all the accumulated pressure during your upbringing, eventually you got lost into bad business during your teenage years and eventually lost all the fame, some money, and the love of your life. With nothing else to lose, you begin to pursue your true dream of becoming a chef.
 Traits: Perfectionist, Foodie, Party Animal / *Outgoing
Aspiration: Master Chef
 goals:
Get at least 3 fame stars before becoming a young adult.
Reach level 6 of the acting skillMarry and have a kid.
Lose all the fame points when turning into an adult.

  GEN 7: Mastermind
You had a great childhood filled with money and fame, but due to your parent’s adventures, you had nothing left once you became a teenager. Decided to be better than your once lazy parent, you make it your big life goal to gain all your wealth back through your intellectual highness.

Aspiration: Academic

Master the logic skill.
Live with your parents until becoming a teenager.
Move out with your ex-famous parent.

 GEN 8: Runaway
During all your childhood, your parents’ job took up all their life. In your free time you unleashed your artistic self since the beginning, which was deeply condemned by your parents, who believed that art could never bring any type of success. Regardless of the lack of support, you continued to invest your time into all types of artistic stuff, all while hiding yourself. Being a free young adult, you got into university to get an art history degree, becoming a famous artist and proving your parents wrong.
 Traits: Art Lover, Socially Awkward / * Loner, Creative
Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire
 goals:
Master the painting skill.
Max the painting career.
Get an art history degree with honors.
Have a rocky relationship with your parents.
Earn more than $2000 selling art pieces.
 GEN 9: Like Mother Like Daughter/Like Father Like Son
Growing up in a gallery-like household, you always picked up on your parent artistic talents and with time you tried to take up the fame as well, but unfortunately your career wasn’t successful. Without resentments, you decided to relax and open a business, always having your children’s well-being in mind. The success of the business provided a good and stable income and a bigger investment in your kids’ talents, which made you a perfect parent who was determined to give their kids everything they needed and more.
 Traits: Art Lover, Loyal, Outgoing
Aspiration: Super Parent (or Big Happy Family for Base Game) 
 goals:
Have a level 5 painting skill.
Never earn any fame points.
Have a successful business.
Complete the Super Parent/ Big Happy Family aspiration.
Master the parenting skill.
GEN 10: The Last Great Dynasty
Having great parents was a big deal for you, especially regarding your drama inclinations. You had everything you wanted all the way until your teenage years, but for some reason you felt something was missing. Looking back in the family legacy, you discover an unknown past which was hidden for years, deep inside the roots of Del Sol Valley. Investing all your time in theater classes, getting a drama degree and climbing all your way to the top, you tried everything possible to become famous like your ancestors and finally be the last one of their legacy.
 Traits: Self-Assured, Ambitious, Perfectionist
Aspiration: World-Famous Celebrity
 goals:

— SURPRISE!!! hi!! welcome to my very first written out legacy challenge. it’s no big surprise that i love taylor swift AND the sims, so here i am, combining the two. she has ten albums, legacies have ten generations, there you have it. the hashtag for this will be swiftlp because i cannot genuinely think of anything better. let’s get into the…
rules below the cut!
- this legacy will require most packs other than batuu and the kits - aging must be turned on, but you can have it at any length you wish (normal/long recommended!). i'd recommend pausing aging during generations three and seven's university runs. - each goal must be met before the new heir takes over. - as for partners, they can have random aspirations/traits unless specified! they don’t need to complete it. - don't give the sims dramatic makeovers or personality adjustments (again, unless specified). slight changes to the appearance are fine but leave their facial features be! - there should be no need for money cheats other than like…freerealestate. there will be plenty of opportunities to grind for those simoleans. - if you do this challenge, tag me or use the hashtag swiftlp! i’d love to see it!
🦋 gen 1 - debut
“oh, i'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world…” ever since you were a little kid, music has been your biggest dream. now, you’re a ditzy, daydreaming, young adult who is out on your own for the first time in your life. life is full of adventure in your humble opinion. you’ve always wanted to make people smile, so the only logical choice is to establish a music career before you dream of settling down later in life. - traits: music lover, cheerful, ambitious - aspiration(s): musical genius, big happy family - career: entertainer (musician branch) - world: any non-city objectives - master the singing, guitar, and charisma skills. - reach level ten in the entertainer career before you finish adulthood - date around during your young adulthood before marrying your best friend when you become an adult. have two children after you get married. - finish the musical genius aspiration before having your kids. then, switch to the big happy family aspiration. - optional: have a garden!

"you learn my secrets and you figure out why i'm guarded. you say we'll never make my parents' mistakes..." after the life your parent had, they are extremely overprotective of you. they just want what's best for you, right? you don't know much about their life before you except that they had a rocky relationship with your other parent. oh well! that's their business. you're off to college in a new town and ready to mess things up. you're only young once! - traits: genius, cat lover, outgoing - aspiration(s): friend of the world, serial romantic - career: social media (any branch), critic (food branch) - world: britechester, windenburg objectives - get all a's until you graduate high school. - attend college at either school you'd like and complete your degree. i'd recommend turning aging off during this time. - never date until you are in college. your parent forbids it. once you can, date around all throughout your young adult life. - master the charisma and mixology skills. - reach level 5 in the social media career before switching to the critic career in your adulthood. mid-life crisis! - marry the fling you had the highest relationship with at the end of young adulthood. have as big of a family as you'd like! they're your soulmate! - ...until you have an affair with someone during adulthood. have a child with them. this will be the heir! - optional: have your sim master the guitar skill.

"ugh, so he calls me up and he's like, "i still love you." and i'm like, "i just, i mean, this is exhausting, you know? like, we are never getting back together, like, ever..." you are the black sheep of your family, but you could never exactly figure out why. as soon as you're old enough, you get out of there to make it big in life! it's your dream to make it as an actor. school was never really your thing, so you drop out early and move to del sol valley to find yourself. - traits: creative, gloomy, perfectionist - aspiration(s): master actor, mansion baron - career: actor - world: del sol valley objectives - participate in drama club until you drop out. - master the acting, wellness, and violin skills. - date two people in your lifetime. the first is a relationship so bad it ruins your perception of love. stay single until you meet your second love interest on set. have a big white wedding! - reach level 10 of the acting career as an adult. - have as many kids as you'd like with your spouse. - move to tartosa to settle down before you retire. - optional: have your sim wear red lipstick with every outfit besides sleep. no one wears lipstick to bed.

"heartbreak is the national anthem, we sing it proudly!" you grew up in the spotlight and LOVED it. heck, your parents are famous celebrities! they were humble people who loved their family as much as they could. you got everything you wanted and more. you might be spoiled, but you deserved it, right? what do you mean you have to be a responsible adult all on your own now? - traits: outgoing, high maintenance, non-committal - aspiration(s): city native, party animal - career: simfluencer (teen), style influencer - world: san myshuno objectives - move to a nice apartment in san myshuno as soon as you turn into a young adult. your parents love you so much that they bought it for you! - attend every festival - go out at least twice a week and throw parties once a week! you're a social butterfly for a reason! - oh no! spend all of your money and move to a needs tlc apartment. - date around until you get pregnant from a one-night stand. marry them, but never have a high relationship with them. cheat on them with hired help. - master the singing and charisma skills. - move to a penthouse once you're back on your feet - only have one child. - optional: have your sim's favorite drink be wine
🐍 gen 6 - reputation
"but i got smarter, i got harder in the nick of time. honey, i rose up from the dead, i do it all the time." you never had a real connection with either of your parents; everything in your childhood was superficial. all you ever wanted was a real family. if you weren't hanging out with your butler, you were on the streets of san myshuno late into the night. darkness called your name, so you abandoned everything you knew for another life...the life of a criminal. - traits: active, evil, family-oriented - aspiration(s): public enemy, super parent - career: criminal - world: any objectives - have a non-existent relationship with both parents, but a high relationship with the live-in butler. - master the fitness, mischief, and parenting skills. - reach level ten of the criminal career (either branch). - have a relationship with a sim that has the exact opposite personality as you (good, friendly, etc.). marry them as an elder. - adopt one child and be very close to them. give them the best life you can. - optional: throw a party every new years eve if you have seasons
💕 gen 7 - lover
"and there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you dear. have i known you 20 seconds or 20 years?" you may not have had much growing up, but you had love. love, love, love. this love showed you that the world is a good place and nothing bad ever happens, right? wrong. when your parent tells you that they're a criminal, your world comes shattering down. everything else sucks outside of your little bubble. can you make the world less cruel? - traits: good, overachiever, romantic - aspiration(s): academic, soulmate - career: law (private attorney branch) - world: any objectives - have a high relationship with your parent until your late teenage years. - meet a sim during childhood and become best friends, later high school sweethearts. marry them after you finish college. - pursue a distinguished degree in history as soon as you finish high school. - master the charisma, logic and research and debate skills. i'd recommend starting early so you can get that distinguished degree. - reach level ten of the law career - have as many children as you'd like. - reconnect and become best friends with your parent before they die. even have them move in! - optional: have a child named betty be the heir!
🌲 gen 8 - folklore
"i want to watch wisteria grow right over my bare feet 'cause i haven't moved in years." you grew up in a chaotic but loving household where there wasn’t a moment of quiet. of course, you love your family, but you are a loner by nature and always preferred to spend your time with your pets or doing art. you come out of your shell during your teen years, but are you making the wrong choice? - traits: loner, creative, loves the outdoors - aspiration(s): country caretaker - career: sustain yourself off of your farm and royalties from painting and writing - world: henford-on-bagley objectives - have the highest relationship possible with your pets. even higher than your siblings. - make one best friend as a child. - during your teen years, date a sim you meet at school. break up when they cheat on you at the beginning of your young adulthood. woohoo with them one last time and “surprisingly” end up pregnant. - immediately move to henford-on-bagley after you graduate. have no contact with anyone except your best friend. you can play off the grid if you’d like. - master the gardening and painting skills. if you’re feeling funky, master cross-stitching and writing, too. - publish books and sell your paintings in addition to running your farm. - marry your best friend as an adult. - only have one child. - optional: have three cats!
🍷 gen 9: evermore
"long story short, it was a bad time; long story short, i survived." you grew up on a farm isolated from the rest of the world. even though you had loving parents and all the animals a child could want, you wanted nothing more than a big family. as soon as you could, you knew you'd have the picture-perfect family you'd always dreamed of...or so you thought. - traits: good, foodie, proper - aspiration(s): big happy family, master chef - career: culinary (chef branch) - world: any objectives - as soon as you become a young adult, move out of your parents' house and to a new world. - get a job in the culinary career to support yourself. - become romantically involved with the first sim you meet. have a whirlwind romance and get married only to find out that they have the hates children trait. - reach level 5 of your career before quitting to focus on family and saving your marriage. - have four children with your spouse. - when you become an adult, divorce them and move your family to a new world. your spouse gets weekend visits. - rejoin the culinary career back at level 5 and continue to level 10. it is okay to cheat to get here! - master the cooking and knitting skills. - marry a coworker and have two more children. - optional: open a restaurant called olive garden!

"i'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror...it must be exhausting, always rooting for the anti-hero." your family is a big, blended mess of people who aren't exactly the best, but they tried. and now it's your turn. you always wanted to be better than your siblings, but your parents always preached that all of you meant the same to them. can you prove your worth as the best to them and yourself? - traits: self-absorbed, ambitious, adventerous - aspiration(s): extreme sports enthusiast - career: part-time barista - world: mt. komorebi objectives - have low relationships with each of your siblings. - master the skiing, snowboarding, fitness, and rock climbing skills. - meet and date a sim you meet on the slopes. - have a family after you master one of the winter skills. - reconnect with your siblings - optional: decorate with midcentury decor!

Legacy Challenge ─ Differences in the Family Tree
Info by AngelOfFallen, Sweet Tsuyu and Legacy Challenge but I readapted some aspects.
💛 LEGACY EVANS 💛
Rules:
No cheats.
No restarting after bad events.
Paint a portrait of the heir from every generation.
Choose the heir by any means you want unless Heir Law (Clumsy trait).
Laws:
Gender Law: 
Equality. Both boys and girls are eligible for the title of heir.
Bloodline Law:
Traditional. Children who are naturally born from the previous generation are eligible to be named heir. Adopted children are ineligible to be named heir unless there are no naturally born children, at which point they become eligible for that generation.
Heir Law:
Exemplar.  At the beginning of the challenge, name a single trait (Clumsy). This trait must be one of your founder’s three traits.. Any eligible heir that has this trait will gain the title of heir. If a single generation has no children with this trait follow the First Born rule. If more than one child has the Exemplar trait then the oldest child WITH the trait will be the heir.
Species Law:
Tolerant. The species of the child has no impact on their eligibility for heir status.

✯ MY LEGACY RULES ✯
I'm going on some adventures and I'd like to bring you along. Here are the rules my sim families follow:
MAIN RULES:
No cheats! Except to fix errors (such as resetting sims or removing bugged buffs) OR to remove unwanted Lifestyles that don't fit the story... I find Lifestyles to be poorly implemented, rigid and too easy to gain so this is my one cheat concession. 
Start on an empty lot with 1-5k money (varies based on financial backstory)
No reward store potions and no Money Tree. Reward traits are ok. 
No move-ins until married or pregnant. Move-ins cannot add household funds; such funds should be removed if added automatically.
Risky Woohoo only, no Try for Baby
Randomize traits on age up
Randomize aspiration on age up (via random number picker since there is no in-game mechanism for this. Currently I have 66 aspirations for adults available in my game)
Current aspiration cannot be changed until it is completed. The new aspiration should be randomized
No use of "quick meal" from the fridge for free food. All food must found, grown, or paid for. The only exception is if having a quick meal appears as a whim.
No resurrecting Sims
No child adoptions or science babies
No Ambrosia for ghosts. Limit to one Ambrosia per lifetime for living sims.
For spellcasters: no CopyPasto or Dedeathify
For vampires: no plasma fruit! Plasma packs are ok.
A direct descendent of the founder(s) must always be head of the household, or it's game over!
SIDE OBJECTIVES:
Collect photographs and/or paintings of each family member
Keep the legacy's starter lot in the family by keeping some sims there even if your mains move out. Alternatively, stay on the starter lot forever and build it up over time!
Complete every career path throughout the generations
Create a family graveyard
Do the alphabet thing where you name each generation with a certain letter - I find this adorable and it helps me think of names!
Accept each new preference and self discovery prompt unless it is entirely antithetical to the character (EA logic doesn't seem very smart with those features so I am lenient here)
Whims rule the day; check off as many as possible and let them shape the story. I have MissyHissy's Hopes & Fears Mod to enhance this style of gameplay!
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
If I can find a mod that improves the Lifestyle system I will change rule #1 so it needn't have that addendum.
Did not put it in the main rules list, but I am choosing not to sell the feathers collected by cats and dogs. My game generates them way too frequently so selling them can be an unfair advantage.
Along with Dedeathify and CopyPasto, which are banned for violating rule #10 and being overpowered, I choose not to use Duplicato because I've heard it is buggy and sometimes the clone doesn't disappear. Do not want!
I have not yet ever added a ghost to a legacy household but I am open to doing so if it seems like a fun story. The head of household must be alive to satisfy rule #15, though.
I am playing with custom lifespan lengths thanks to MCCC; a sim lives half as long as the "Long" lifespan setting. I changed this setting manually for all species and ages. I dunno why "Normal" is so short and "Long" is so, SO long!
I have a mod (Randomized Elder Lifespan) that makes elder sim death ages a bit more unpredictable. I got tired of my CAS created elders dying at the same time in mass death events.
I am using Carl's Sims 4 Gameplay Overhaul mod for various features, particularly the increase of bills by 50% and the decrease of income by 25%. I am not using the satisfaction system, relationship daily cap, or fishing overhaul.
I'm using MizoreYukii's SimCity Loans mod which is a great solution for building a house early in this rags-to-riches style gameplay. The loans can be quite difficult to pay back and I enjoy the stress it brings!
Aging up early is allowed. I usually wait for birthdays to roll around but sometimes I cannot deal with a toddler anymore.
For #7, cheats can be used to complete a milestone step if it is glitched. I ran into an issue with the Slumber Party Animal aspiration where the sleeping bags were bugged, so achieving the final goal of throwing a gold quality party was not possible. I complete everything I can before using the cheat (aspirations.complete_current_milestone)
I have not been following rules #7 and #8 for the first generation of my Runestead legacy; I recently added these rules as I started racking up aspiration trait rewards fast and it began to feel a bit cheaty. I think it will feel better with these limitations. To be clear, the founders birthed in CAS are allowed to choose their traits and aspiration based on backstory, but should randomize any subsequent traits/aspirations. Sometimes these randomized aspirations seem a strange turn for a sim's life to take, but I love coming up with reasons why they have these irregular desires!
I tend to ignore events that may give an unfair advantage, such as the random inheritance call event, but sometimes those unexpected twists can be fun, so if it seems like it fits the story, I will go with the flow.
I am, of course, using Extreme Violence, Wicked Whims, and Basemental Drugs, the trifecta of perfect sims mods. Better than many actual expansions, these mods! Beware that my sim's adventures can get rather shocking and seedy with these mods installed. If you're on board for that, then...

It was late into the night and Renee was back at the station. She needed to find the problem with Vincent's phone and why his messages didn't send. Renee relayed all the information Vincent told her and he emphasised using the hospital wifi. They figured his phone was hacked this way and someone was spying on him, preventing him from making calls or messages. With the cyber security knowledge of Captain Vazquez, they tracked the IP address of the device used to intercept Vincent's phone. And the location was Strangerville.

Now Renee had all sorts of thoughts in her head. Despite it being late at night, she found the whole process fascinating. And all the links to Strangerville. The police may be the only way to uncover more about the place and find out what the hell is going on there. Perhaps she should switch from her history course to criminology and become a detective. Yes, she will do that. Renee doesn't like history as much as she did anyway and she liked the idea of solving crimes.

challenge rules:
each generation has a color for you to follow; the colors go along with the personalities of each gen so it is suggested that you follow the color schemes!
the colors of the spouses don’t matter. unless specifically stated in the rules, you can do whatever you please with them.
every generation has an optional rule to make the generation just a bit harder! as stated, these are optional so only do them if you’d like.
some generations will have relationship/family dynamics rules, however if none are stated, the relationships between all sims will be up to your interpretation!
some generations have child aspirations. you do NOT need to fully complete them, but you can if you’d like!
money cheats can be used, but shouldn’t be used excessively. suggestion: use the cheat, freerealestate on for your first home, but no cheats afterward.
your sims may live wherever you please unless the world is specified in the rules of a generation.
every heir should complete the rules, aspiration, and career of the generation.
if you do not have the required packs, you can opt out of certain rules or change them to fit as close as possible.

Celestial Legacies General Laws
Finish their chosen career (where applicable)
Master at least 2 skills
Apply required traits (where applicable)
Have one child to continue the legacy
Curfew is 7pm (where applicable)
Do not intentionally kill a sim
No playable ghosts
Succession Laws
Equal/Modern Adopted and naturally born children are the same in regards to succession and the heir may be of any gender.
Living Will The child wit the highest relationship bar with the previous heir will receive the legacy.
Strength (Only in a tie) At any time, a sibling can challenge the title holder to a physical fight. If they win, they claim the title by force. This can happen any number of times until the previous heir dies.
Wishing Well Laws
All legacies are allowed a wishing well on their chosen home lot. All members of the lineage has the right to make a wish at any of the following life events:
Birthdays ( age up )
Weddings
Aspiration achieved
Maxed out a required skill
Maxed out chosen career
Biological/Unity Laws
Non-human children born to either the previous heir or non lineage parent are to be sent to their non-human parent and are not applicable to the inheritance of the legacy unless the legacy parent is also non-human.
