I wanna to see more Roxy vs Hideo ( @ganbaregokudo ) this year, because I will never forget the legendary and ridiculous burn from last year. Basically Roxy called Hideo the “Tragedy of the Year,” which he tried to clapback with the whole BS about liking a good tragedy. Then of course, Roxy replied with a simple line that buried him:
“So you love a good tragedy, eh? Then I guess you really don’t mind being listed in the Farmer’s Almanac of Predictable L’s.“

Completely random but: Ye know JK's iconic "I know face, but Idk name" is already hilarious and a perfect clapback to that stupid unnecessary celebrity crush question on its own, but as a Jikooker or at least someone who thinks JK might be queer it also has this added subtext of "God I'm way too gay for this shit" which makes it even more hilarious, don't ya think xD?
A legendary moment jsjsjsjsj indeed

Oh, watching trashy shows with your fave tho?
tomura hates the screaming and pointless drama and he will do anything in his power to make you switch the channel. that being said he loves gordon ramsay and he has a morbid fascination with my strange addiction and that hoarding show
dabi only watches noel miller’s commentary on the mormon bachelor while he gets high
twice is down for literally anything, he lives and breathes trashy shows and he gets super involved in them and he is just the best person to watch stuff with. his commentary is hilarious, especially when the fighting starts
magne loves the real housewives and the kardashians and all that kinda froo froo shit where a pack of snooty women are forced to be in the same proximity. she lives for the clapback moments
toga likes to watch say yes to the dress and definitely watches all dating shows
spinner loves anything with gordon ramsay too and he probably watches forged in fire and pawn stars
mr compress loves the bachelor/bachelorette and extreme couponing because he is a basic boomer who thinks he is above trashy shows
kurogiri does not hide his distaste for humanity and yearns for you to watch something educational for once. can and will steal the remote from you to turn on the news. highly critical of the ugly dresses from gypsy brides. his clapbacks and critiques of every person are legendary and far more entertaining to you than any show you are currently watching
bonus: AFO created the league and watches them from his screen because they are a trashy show in of themselves

All the legendaries are cool, since they’re like, gods and stuff, but I gotta hand it to my boy Arceus-- homie on some next level shit. The gold? That attitude? That clapback to Archer at the Sinjoh ruins was some real deal stuff and you gotta respect a god for that. Plus we’re basically bros so I gotta respect my main man, you know?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally someone here knows how to address me. I deal with babies all the time, I’m practically a stay at home dad. The daycare couple somehow convinced me I need to help them to “unlock my true potential” or whatever so I more or less run the place. I’ve got eggs left and right and I’m starting to think it’s something I wanna do forever. When Crystal goes on her catching sprees I drag Silver to my place to order takeout and keep me company while I spend all night with the eggs and little babies. Babies don’t judge you like others do, so I prefer them. Anyway yeah things are poppin in the daycare!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Close friends”?! Dude lives at my house and steals my tv! I taught him how to cook pancakes, he surprises me with midnight mac and cheese some nights. He annoys the piss out of me because he’s a freaky little emo weeb, but close friends is an understatement-- we’re closer than brothers! We have each other’s backs no matter what. I’d kill for him if he asked. To answer your question though... yeah we’re wayyyyy beyond close friends
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I already talked about my homie Silver up above, but even though I don’t talk about her Crys and I are super close too, even if things started out... rough. We didn’t get along much at first; she thought she was hot shit because Oak actually wanted to give her a dex and not me. She didn’t wanna hang out with “riffraff” or whatever but we went clubbing like one time and then she was all over me, telling me how I was a lot cooler and nicer than she thought. She was all focused on work and stuff, but once I dragged her out of her shell a little bit and got to appreciate where she was coming from, we started vibing a lot. Homegirl can hang like no one else, and I love talking with her and hanging out even if she’s a total stick in the mud sometimes. Plus she and Rald are like a package deal, which is great for me bc I love em both
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Only the most incredible party ever! Mama is baking a cake and I’m bringing over all my homies for bbq and cake and street food and all the real shit. We’re gonna chill until it’s super late and then I’m gonna gamble all my birthday money away it’s gonna be so damn lit

Crush? The only thing I’m crushing are soda cans and people’s heart bro

🌟 astrological self-care: libra 🌟
Self-care is an essential part of a good life for  all of us. However, as individuals, we need different things to keep us  going. In this installment, I am focusing on Libra, the seventh sign of the zodiac.
the thing to know about Libra: Libras are socially oriented. Libra wants harmony. They love the interaction of debate but abhor hostility or angry feelings. As much as they like good feelings and peace, love and harmony, they are mentally oriented. They want to know the cold, hard truth and share it with others. They share what they know freely and consider it a sin for anyone else to withhold the truth. They spend their energy assessing guilt or innocence but they draw the line at talking about punishment. They prefer forgiveness, seeking a fresh start with a clean slate.
quotes for Libra:
“Elegance is usually confused with superficiality, fashion, lack of depth. This is a serious mistake: human beings need to have elegance in their actions and in their posture because this word is synonymous with good taste, amiability, equilibrium and harmony.” - Paulo Coelho
“Peace and justice are two sides of the same coin.” - Dwight D. Eisenhower
“Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.”  - Martin Luther King, Jr.
“The best partnerships aren't dependent on a mere common goal but on a shared path of equality, desire, and no small amount of passion.“ - Sarah MacLean
“Never let a fool kiss you or a kiss fool you.” - Joey Adams
“I play into the perception of me, but it’s not really me.” - Kim Kardashian
my message to Libra:  You may be accused of being more indecisive and lovestruck than everyone else  but don’t be concerned about their issues. It’s not your fault that you’re more well balanced and mentally stimulating than others. I love the fact that you try to be objective and fair about things. You’re the best friends in the zodiac and wonderful lovers. A party isn’t a party without you; you know how to keep things lively yet classy. You give great advice, you’re sweet without being sappy and you’re very elegant as well as relatable. You’re beautiful and selfless and such a great conversationalist. You make everyone you come into contact with feel special and seen. You’re charming and everyone loves to be around you and champion you because of how agreeable and authentic you are and how you nobly champion others (especially those who need someone to stand for them). Your sense of style is second to none and you always know how to look better than everyone else. I love your taste in aesthetics, in art, in music...you draw all sorts of people to you and never hurt for the companionship you so crave. What makes you so cool is that you make others hardly notice they’re in an argument with you until they’ve already lost. Your clapbacks are legendary. You always take the high road and while you play the role of perfect lady or gentleman impeccably, you inhabit both gender roles with aplomb. I admire the way you are at parties; you Libra men know how to chat with the ladies, and my Libra girls know how to hold their own with the fellas. You inspire such goodwill and respect from others because of your bubbly, congenial and friendly nature and you’re a loyal and really fun friend. The only thing is your congeniality and friendliness can attract subpar individuals into your orbit, so make sure no one takes advantage of you as a result. You teach us how to find and experience beauty in all parts of our lives, and that’s a rare gift. You’ really try to consider everyone and that’s one of the reasons why you’re so popular and well-liked!
physiological makeup of Libra: Libra rules the kidneys and urinary system. It also rules hormones in general as well as the veins. Libras can suffer from kidney disease and imbalances including kidney stones, renal colic, diabetes and sugar addiction. Urinary tract infections can be a problem. Also, skin complaints are things that Libras can suffer from, such as psoriasis, eczema, or anything that causes disfiguration.
Libra self-care tips:
don’t be afraid of conflict, it is necessary for a well-balanced existence and can free your mind from regret
learn to stand on your own two feet; co-dependency can be a problem for you, so learn to stand on your own two feet and quit people pleasing at the expense of your own wants and needs
get physical and enjoy various activities, such as hiking, biking, or any kind of exercise every day
eat healthier; avoid consuming too much sugar
developing your own sense of what you want and who you are in the world
immerse yourself in art, music, and anything that makes you happy and centered
keep your skin moisturized and use products that work according to your skin type
drink wheatgrass, pomegranate juice and/or 2 tablespoons of pure apple cider vinegar diluted in 8 ounces of distilled water to flush out and keep your kidneys functioning properly
make sure your love life is a healthily balanced one of give-and-take
take a relaxing epsom salt detox bath to draw out any impurities and promote good health and relaxation
volunteer or give back to your community
vent and talk things out with your friends at a workout session, coffee house, or art gallery...anything that simultaneously satisfies your need to be around people and communicate as well as finding safe spaces to express yourself and connect to others
buy new clothes, lingerie or anything to maintain your natural glamour and beauty
provide yourself with the same healing and attentive care that you provide others
have a relaxing spa day (with or without your friends), getting mani-pedis, hair done, etc.
acquire new skills and knowledge by attending fun workshops, wine tasting, cooking classes, etc. either with friends, your significant other, or by yourself; you’ll instantly feel the joy of accomplishment and be a part of a collective
plan a trip to visit someone
increase your mindfulness and awareness of toxic energy and check-in with yourself around your fears of being isolated, not all company is good company, so be more discerning in your choices of companions and friends
satisfy your need for justice by joining groups that reflect your interests and causes
have a glam get together with your close friends
go out clubbing, dancing, or see live music/attend a concert
find ways to build your ability to be honest with your feelings and finding safe ways to manage those feelings
find others who enjoy interaction as much as you do and make sure the quality of the company matches the quantity
have some alone time and do things that make you feel good
consume the herbs rose, yarrow, cranberry and ashwagandha - either in food, in teas, or tisanes
drink more water
study whatever you need to to get that good grade or pass that exam
make today a good day

How to Write a Fandom-Worthy Character (Part 1): “The Complex Heroine”
by Rae Elliott
The “strong” heroine is becoming a cliche, one-dimensional character women can’t relate to or don’t find realistic.
So it’s time we toss the “strong/kick-butt heroine” out and replace it with a more satisfying character: the complex heroine.
Fab fictional femmes like Shuri of Black Panther, Rey of Star Wars, and Eowyn of the Lord of the Rings, have raised the bar high for female characters. And, as writers, it’s time we meet that bar.
So what characteristics should your complex heroine possess in order for readers to freak over her?
Competence
Flaws/weaknesses/failures.
A noble cause she stands for.
Let’s talk about how you can use these traits in your own character crafting process.
Competence
All the ladies I spoke of aren’t strong. No, see, the adjective that better describes them is competent. That means they carry their own, they hold down the fort, and they make use of the beautiful brains God gave ‘em- in brilliant ways. See, being competent allows for strength in multiple areas, not just one.
Just wanting your heroine to be “strong” isn’t enough of a goal for her. Women possess many qualities that make them unique, honorable, and resilient. So focusing on strength alone narrows her possibilities. Focusing on creating a competent heroine, however, gives her more dimension, depth, and allows her a variety of goals and abilities.
Shuri, princess and younger sister to T’Challa, wasn’t just sitting on the sideline as her brother changed Wakandan history. She helped him change it- and not just through fighting, either.
Through the use of her awesome brain, Shuri created gadgets, weapons, and teched-out outfits to help her brother’s goal (really, the nation’s goal). She represented her family, her brother, and her people well by giving to it in valuable ways. And although she’s just teenager, Shuri has focus and direction, thereby producing the best works science has ever seen.
Rey survived on her own as a scavenger for years. She defended herself both mentally and physically against countless attacks, including the most fearsome attack from Mr. Prince Emo bad boy himself. Rey was also a quick learner and intuitive with the Force, which made her an excellent mechanic and pilot.
Eowyn, shieldmaiden of Rohan, burns at the fact that women cannot defend those they love. Yet she teaches herself how to handle a sword and hold her own anyway.
Ultimately moved to pull a Mulan and enter the war undercover, Eowyn successfully makes her way to the front. There, she faces the ultimate test of bravery: a smackdown with the Witch King of Agmar.
After the clapback of the century, Eowyn defeats the Witch King in defense of her mortally wounded uncle.
Notice a pattern here? These ladies are all self-taught in some way. Rey, alone most of her life, learns to fend for herself and scavenge to survive. Eowyn, unable to defend those she loves openly, teaches herself the ways of the sword in secret and enters the front in disguise. And Shuri, although she had the best education Wakanda could offer, created these gadgets on her own- always improving where need be.
So here’s the ultimate goal of a competent heroine:
To be a gal that’s got brains- not just brawn.
To have the opportunity to be self-taught, or a self-starter, in at least one area of her life.
To defy the odds and beat expectations.
Flaws, Failures, and Weaknesses
“But why should my heroine have flaws or failures, Rae? Won’t that just make her appear weak or incompetent?”
No, beautiful unicorn, it won’t.
Why?
Because no one can relate to a perfect heroine, a flawless heroine. I don’t know one woman who hasn’t made a mistake in their life (ahem, I’m looking at you, girl in the mirror).
Although the Force was strong with Rey, she still had weaknesses and honest desires gone unfulfilled. She longed to discover who her parents are and find her place in the world. Even though she had discovered her calling, she felt lost nonetheless and wanted, more than anything, for someone to help her find her place in the war. Those powerful, real desires made Rey a believable, relatable, beloved heroine.
As valiant as Eowyn was, she wasn’t without flaws. Her naivety bears down hard on her when she faces the horrors of war. This flaw also leads her to heartbreak, when Aragorn friendzones her hard. But we feel for Eowyn and relate to her struggle to find love in a world overcome with war.
To give your heroine a desire to find love and be loved is not a weakness, it’s a relatable quality.
Clearly, to bear a significant weakness or to fail in some way only makes heroines more relatable, realistic, and complex. Readers want to connect to characters, to see a bit of themselves in the heroine, so make sure you don’t just show her best side.
The point about flaws/failures/weaknesses is this:
Readers will find your heroine relatable and realistic.
They add depth and dimension to your heroine that readers will appreciate.
Standing for a Noble Cause
What does she stand for? What belief does she live for? Would she die for it?
To be apart of something bigger than ourselves gives us great purpose, gives us a wider worldview and perspective outside our immediate needs. Give your heroine that same purpose. If she doesn’t stand for a cause greater than herself, she’ll flatline.
Rey decidedly threw herself into the fight for the rebellion. Even though she lived on the outskirts as a mere scavenger, when the opportunity “rolled” itself into her life, she made her choice. Rey’s beliefs were greatly tested, yet she came out the other side an even more capable character.
Shuri used her talents for the greater good as well. She helped support T’Challa and bring Wakanda to the level of ingenuity it became legendary for. Her works weren’t just a trophy to hang on the wall-they had real purpose, and as a last resort, she used her weaponry in battle herself.
Eowyn wouldn’t stand idly by as Middle Earth fell into the hands of Sauron. She courageously took on a battle no other woman had before. Fighting for the world of men, and even taking a hard hit from the Witch King in the process, Eowyn took her stand valiantly.
Here’s what you need to take away from heroines who stand for a noble cause:
Readers admire and respect a heroine who stands for something bigger than herself.
Fighting an internal or external battle to defend that belief, no matter the odds, helps cement their identity as a beloved heroine.
Let’s be clear about something real quick: your heroine doesn’t have to fight in a battle to be strong. She doesn’t have to swing a sword or battle ax to be considered worthy of our respect.
(In fact, read more about my belief that we need more diverse female characters here)
There are many types of heroines and that’s okay. But if you want to create a complexheroine readers will appreciate, then remember these three keys:
Make her competent
Allow her to use her brain
Let her be a self-starter or self-taught
2. Give her flaws/failures/weaknesses
She doesn’t always have to win every battle (and she shouldn’t)
Failures make her relatable and more beloved to readers
3. Give her a noble cause to stand for
Standing for something greater than herself gives her a purpose readers appreciate
Defending that belief despite great opposition builds her character

Dayton, Ohio, August 7, 1865 To My Old Master, Colonel P.H. Anderson, Big Spring, Tennessee Sir: I got your letter, and was glad to find that you had not forgotten Jordon, and that you wanted me to come back and live with you again, promising to do better for me than anybody else can. I have often felt uneasy about you. I thought the Yankees would have hung you long before this, for harboring Rebs they found at your house. I suppose they never heard about your going to Colonel Martin's to kill the Union soldier that was left by his company in their stable. Although you shot at me twice before I left you, I did not want to hear of your being hurt, and am glad you are still living. It would do me good to go back to the dear old home again, and see Miss Mary and Miss Martha and Allen, Esther, Green, and Lee. Give my love to them all, and tell them I hope we will meet in the better world, if not in this. I would have gone back to see you all when I was working in the Nashville Hospital, but one of the neighbors told me that Henry intended to shoot me if he ever got a chance. I want to know particularly what the good chance is you propose to give me. I am doing tolerably well here. I get twenty-five dollars a month, with victuals and clothing; have a comfortable home for Mandy, — the folks call her Mrs. Anderson, — and the children — Milly, Jane, and Grundy — go to school and are learning well. The teacher says Grundy has a head for a preacher. They go to Sunday school, and Mandy and me attend church regularly. We are kindly treated. Sometimes we overhear others saying, "Them colored people were slaves" down in Tennessee. The children feel hurt when they hear such remarks; but I tell them it was no disgrace in Tennessee to belong to Colonel Anderson. Many darkeys would have been proud, as I used to be, to call you master. Now if you will write and say what wages you will give me, I will be better able to decide whether it would be to my advantage to move back again. As to my freedom, which you say I can have, there is nothing to be gained on that score, as I got my free papers in 1864 from the Provost-Marshal-General of the Department of Nashville. Mandy says she would be afraid to go back without some proof that you were disposed to treat us justly and kindly; and we have concluded to test your sincerity by asking you to send us our wages for the time we served you. This will make us forget and forgive old scores, and rely on your justice and friendship in the future. I served you faithfully for thirty-two years, and Mandy twenty years. At twenty-five dollars a month for me, and two dollars a week for Mandy, our earnings would amount to eleven thousand six hundred and eighty dollars. Add to this the interest for the time our wages have been kept back, and deduct what you paid for our clothing, and three doctor's visits to me, and pulling a tooth for Mandy, and the balance will show what we are in justice entitled to. Please send the money by Adams's Express, in care of V. Winters, Esq., Dayton, Ohio. If you fail to pay us for faithful labors in the past, we can have little faith in your promises in the future. We trust the good Maker has opened your eyes to the wrongs which you and your fathers have done to me and my fathers, in making us toil for you for generations without recompense. Here I draw my wages every Saturday night; but in Tennessee there was never any pay-day for the negroes any more than for the horses and cows. Surely there will be a day of reckoning for those who defraud the laborer of his hire. In answering this letter, please state if there would be any safety for my Milly and Jane, who are now grown up, and both good-looking girls. You know how it was with poor Matilda and Catherine. I would rather stay here and starve — and die, if it come to that — than have my girls brought to shame by the violence and wickedness of their young masters. You will also please state if there has been any schools opened for the colored children in your neighborhood. The great desire of my life now is to give my children an education, and have them form virtuous habits. Say howdy to George Carter, and thank him for taking the pistol from you when you were shooting at me.
From your old servant, Jordon Anderson
Tumblr media
I wonder if Col. ever sent them past wages?
Also there’s so much in this letter that it can be overwhelming, what the ancestors had to live through. My God.
1. This slave master shot at him...twice.
2. This slave master was a murderer.
3. Jordan felt that his girls would be unsafe because the master raped his wife and the master’s son would probably do the same to his girls.
4. The fact that he’s getting paid now, his kids are getting educated, and they are going to Sunday school.
5. Jordan valued education and it was extremely important to him.
6. Jordan wanted his family to be virtuous even after all the mistreatment they suffered through.
7. The folks call Mandy “Mrs. Anderson” as a show of respect.
8. Jordan asked for his back pay at $25 a month and Mandy’s was $2 a week...roughly $8 a month. My God the wage gap. Jesus fix it.
I could go on and on but this is a gem of history and should be shared.

Album: Blackout
Release Date: October 30, 2007
You may have noticed by now that all of her album covers are just shots of her face, which honestly - iconic.
Blackout is album #2 in Britney’s Holy Trinity for most of the fans. What to say about this album? You are to be slightly forgiven if you don’t remember this album since this was the era where she gaveherworstperformanceeverdivorcedkfedshavedherheadwashospitalizedthriceandlostcustodyofherkids. 2007 was a YEAR in pop culture, kids (see: the Britney-Paris Hilton-Lindsay Lohan trio, the iPhone debut, Mad Men premiering, the Sopranos ending, Anna Nicole Smith dying, Naomi Campbell’s instantly iconic photos of her leaving jail in Dolce & Gabbana). I feel bad for the girls who slept through it.
I implore you, if you are a pop fan and haven’t listened to this album, GO. LISTEN. TO. IT. NOW. This album shaped the sound of pop for years to come, most clearly heard in Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and the like. Its legacy during that decade is unmatched. It’s in the Rock-&-Roll Hall of Fame for crying out loud! This is the album that gave her Godney legendary status.
Its brilliance was overlooked when it was released (I mean, there was a lot going on with Britney), but it’s rightfully considered genius work now.
I’m fucking sweating - let’s get into this.
Tumblr media
Gimme More | 9 /10
Name a better opening song on a Britney album than this one. I'll wait. From the iconic "It's Britney, bitch" to the dark, moody beat and foreboding lyrics, this song is damn near perfect. Y’all should see the clips from the music video we *almost* got.
Tumblr media
Piece Of Me | 7/10
I like this clapback to the media, even more than its predecessor, Overprotected. Bloodshy and Avant did that with this song. It's attitude on a pop track, which is so Britney. BRITNEY WAS SICK OF ALL OF OUR SHIT.
Tumblr media
Radar | 4.5/10
This song is weird. The music video is creepy. I find the background effects to be irritating af, but I will admit that it's catchy - once you hear it, it's hard to forget it.
Tumblr media
Break The Ice | 8.5 /10
Brit literally had two songs that could've been openers on this album, and this was the other. It's been awhile ... Yes it had, and Britney came through with an album that smacked us all in the face and forced us to say uncle. Shitty music video aside, this song starts off strong and never lets you down. She tells us in the song that she wants to warm us up and I’m telling you, we 👏🏾 ain’t 👏🏾 fucking 👏🏾 ready 👏🏾!
Heaven On Earth | 8 /10
I LOVE this song. So much more romantic than many of her ballads, imo. A fantasy song set to a pulsing electro-beat - can we go back to 2007, please?
Get Naked | 8.5 /10
The part of the album where Britney starts to turn up the heat. Y’all, we are about to get fucked and we will like it. First time I heard this song I went, "Damn girl!" I know some hated Danja's vocals on this, but I loved it. Him and Britney playing off of each other worked so well to create a sexy dark theme.
Tumblr media
Freakshow | 7/10
This one had to grow on me, but I do love the double entendre of "watching Britney perform." She really was a tease this whole damn album. Also when she performs this song now, she puts a man on a lease and spanks him as she walks him. LEGENDARY.
Toy Soldier | 7.5/10
Nasally voice aside, this song is dank as shit. It's all, "hahaha FUCK YOU KEVIN" - even if she doesn't want to admit it. I wish she'd add this to her Las Vegas show, Piece Of Me.
Just so we’re clear, at this point in the album Britney is horny, angry, and ready to go dancing before she goes home to her man’s dick. Which means we are also all of those things. Ok, let’s continue.
Hot As Ice | 8 /10
You’d be forgiven if you feel like you need a break to catch your breath, but Britney is not ready to get off our necks. This was the first song I was obsessed with on this album. She saw the throne and ascended, claiming her rightful place as pop's princess. 🎶"Living legend, you can look but don't touch!"🎶
Ooh Ooh Baby | 8 /10
We're nearing the end of the album and Britney shows no intention of slowing down. I am tired. My body is worn out. I can’t dance or fuck anymore. Britney, I am TIRED. And now she’s telling the listener how she wants her man to touch her so she can come alive. TIRED, MISS SPEARS, TIRED.
I know I said Britney had previous albums that radiated sex, but this album is SEX. And love. And "fuck yous."
Perfect Lover | 8.5 /10
I want to play this song at my wedding, but it may not be appropriate before my parents. So maybe my honeymoon. 🎶Every time you touch me there, you make me feel so hot.🎶
Why Should I Be Sad | 7 /10
You shouldn't be Britney because you had two wonderful boys, an exploding career - oh, and just the best damn pop album of the decade. I think this is the weakest of the songs she recorded with Pharrell, and it's still pretty damn good.
Everybody | 6.5/10
This is a nice club banger. I think the bonus track status it has is the most it deserves, but it's a nice take on the original.
Get Back | 7 /10
Attitudeney is back! Britney ain't letting up on telling y'all how hot she is and that y'all can't handle it! *spirit fingers*
Outta This World | 8 /10
This bonus track was only released on the Japanese version of this album. I paid way too much to get a second copy of Blackout, the Japanese version, just for this one fucking song. It like doesn’t even fit the album theme at all, but it’s just so damn good!
U N R E L E A S E D  |  L E A K E D  T R A C K S
911 | 2 /10
This is one of only two songs from this era that I am just not feeling. The beeping sound when she sings 9-1-1 is grating af. I'm glad this one was scrapped.
All That She Wants | 5/10 Nice cover. Decent cover, I should say. I gave it a 5 only because you can hear the anguish in her voice as she sings. She was going through some shit, y'all. This song was half directed at her dad, too (remember, this is the era of the conservatorship happening). Otherwise, this deserves its unreleased status.
Baby Boy | 6 /10
You know my favorite slow songs by her are the ones where I feel like I can feel her emotions, all the sadness she's feeling. Britney had been hurt by boyfriends so much up to this point and I think her music started to reflect that. She was mad, sad, lonely, searching for love. Aw, that's sad.
But also she had a fairly solid reputation for going after married or otherwise taken men so there’s also that.
State Of Grace | 2 /10
Here it is. Song number 2 that I just cannot get into, no matter how much I listen to it.
Sippin On (ft. AC) | 6 /10
Sounds more ITZ-ish to me (with some saying that it is indeed an ITZ era unreleased), but it's a solid r&b-influenced song. Very middle of the road, but not a bad effort.
When U Gon Pull It | 4 /10
A song about pulling out. Ok girl. If it weren't for her hilarious singing speaking voice, I might just pass this one over. But sassy Brit is one of my favorites.
Sugarfall | 9 /10
This is hands down my favorite of all of Britney's unreleased songs. I don't think it fit the overall feel of BO, but it's so good I wish she would've released it as a standalone single or something!
Kiss You All Over | 6 /10
Sounds more like a mid-90s r&b-style song than a fit for BO, but it's surprisingly good. I've never heard it before, but it's definitely going into my repertoire. The backing vocals are fucking solid.
Let Go | 7 /10
This makes me feel like I'm sitting in a jazz club, sipping whiskey, while Britney moodily sings and plays the piano. Also, you will never catch me sipping whiskey, I don’t know why I typed that.
Welcome To Me | 7.5 /10
This song gives me so many feels. Good ones. Lust and desire are all over it and her moans and heavy breathing push it over the limit. The production is pretty damn good too for a song that was never fully finished. Another rumored to actually be from the ITZ era.
Dramatic | 0 /10
Oh, I lied - I fucking hate this song. This song is just stupid. It's probably the only song of her discography I feel this way about. If I could give it a negative rating, I would. I don't think I've ever manage to make it all the way through this song.
