I swear every year or so I'm like "ugh why has my brain been so hard to wrangle for the last few months" and then I realize I haven't journaled in like. 6 months. and then I start journaling again and suddenly my brain starts frickin behaving itself again, and I'm like "Woah! I really need to keep this habit up! It helps so much!"

And then I forget to journal a few months later, go "ehh it's probably fine anyways, it's not like I *need* to journal" and then the cycle starts anew
