sorry I was flying so terribly this game does not control like I remember and the game was stuttering for some reason (even before I started recording) but here its. its literally this. I remember so much about this map
Ok something neat about Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is that there’s little character info sections in the character selection. I just unlocked Captain America 2099; I’ve learned she has a Captain Underpants situation going on.
When she hears “Avengers Assemble” she turns into Captain America. When she hears “Dismissed” she turns into her civilian identity: Roberta Mendez. Neither of these identities are aware of the other.
What’s concerning is that her husband, Harry Mendez, is fully aware of this, and when Hydra starts taking advantage of this, putting her in mortal danger, he does nothing. He doesn’t tell his wife (or wives technically(?)) about this. He doesn’t try to do anything about it. He just lets it happen.
And then you read her little bio which states he (verbatim) “forcefully submitted her to the Super-Soldier Serum.” And then you realize that he’s lucky that the game doesn’t let you kill civilians.
Wild thing to read and see in a Lego game.
@mauga you’re into the 2099 characters right? Do you have anything to add?
[gets really close to your ear] did you know... in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes right near the Baxter Building there's a subway station inside a tunnel... if you go in that station, head left and then head towards the corner between the floor of the station and the tunnel arch... you will phase through and get inside the overworld map... and there's even more places like this too.
Shout out to me when I was a dumbass kid not figuring out that the mysterious bad guy Dr. Doom was talking to in Lego Marvel Superheroes was Loki even though he sounds like Loki and Doom calls him the God of Mischief in the first cutscene.
