Hi, just found your blog and wanted to say that it's amazing. Thank you for all the stories and memes <3 I saw a note that we can share our character ideas and ask questions sooo I decided to give it a try.

So, I have a Tiefling Sorcerer named Medea and she's pissed. Her parents were members of a cult and she was considered to be some kind of gift from demon lord that they worshipped. She was used in many dark rituals as a... conductor I guess? Sorry I'm not a native speaker xD She used to hate herself and everybody else but one day she realized that her heritage is not a curse - it's a gift that she can use for her own needs. And that her parent were abusive pieces of shit that she shouldn't have listened and trusted. Eventually she ran away and maybe killed some cultist on the way. She is quick tempered, kinda wild and sadistic. And probably have some mental disorder after living like that. And she's actively trying to deny that she cares about what happend.

Oh, and also, what I like about her the most - she had four eyes and sigils on her body (she was marked be the cultist; they glow a bit and they hurt when she used magic)

Sooo I don't know what purpose I should give her. What does she want to do with her life after a childhood like that? Should I change or specify something in her backstory?

I love her already!!!!!! Sounds like an amazing character that you’ve put a lot of thought into!!!!! 

hmmmmmm in terms of motivation for characters like this I tend to find that a really good motivation is them wanting to make sure that what happened to them never happens to anybody else? It can lead to some really good RP moments if your character is normally a bit abrasive but also wildly protective of people that she sees going through similar things to what she went through?  

You could also add in the motivation that maybe one day she’d like to dismantle the cult that she was raised in

Either way she sounds like a fun character to play as!!!!
