You’re hungry? He’s running to the store at 3:00 AM to make you some spicy noodles with a side of pickles. Your feet are swollen? Put your legs up on his lap and let him massage those feet! The baby won’t stop kicking your ribs? Well they’ll get a stern talking to! >:(

I feel like Leon would definitely not let you do one single thing around this house, hell, you couldn’t even get up to grab a glass of water anymore. He’d carry you around the house like a little princess, setting you down in bed and tucking you in, kissing you goodnight like you were a little kid. Talking to your belly in the middle of the night, telling it random and silly stories, acting like your baby knew what the hell he was talking about.

Don’t even get me started on your bump, he’d looooovvvveeeee that big ol’ belly of yours. When you wore those pretty flowy sundresses because you refused to wear pants during the last month or so of your pregnancy, how those dresses would show your bump (and your melons, wink wink👀) off were definitely the best parts. You were the prettiest thing in the world to him, even more now that you were carrying his child.

Oh my God, I love domestic Leon so much... He deserves that typical white picket fence life.

So there's conflicting resources online so I'm just gonna make an assumption here. July-December is when most babies are born. So far the same of a time line we'll say you're due in September.

So it's like the dead ass middle of July. Hot as balls and it's 3am. You want spicy noodles and pickles. (You're usually craving) But when you go to the kitchen they're both gone. You just grab an otter pop from the freezer, and head back to bed. The bed dips under your weight as you sit, adjusting your pillows before you lay back. The window AC is at that perfect angle where it's hitting you enough to make you chilly as you curl up with your snack and blanket.

Leon rolls over in his sleep, putting his arm around you and pulls himself closer to you with a groan. Lifting his head without opening his eyes, you know what he wants. Leaning down you give him a kiss. He sinks back into his pillow, tongue jutting out to wet his lips.

"Why... Do I taste cherry?" He opens his eyes, looking up to see you already drinking the juice from the clear package.

"No noodles? No pickles?" He questions, turning on his back as he takes in a sharp yawn. Rubbing away the sleepy gunk from his eyes.

"We're out." He turns his head, watching you look at the empty wrapper in disappointment. He sits up without a second thought, still groggy as he grabs his wallet off the nightstand giving you another kiss before he stands up. Slinking out the door in his pajamas.

30 minutes he comes back with fresh made spicy beef noodles from your favorite late night Korean dinner and a jar of pickles the size of a baby. An you bet you scarf those things down while he watches you like your his whole world. This goofy smile on his face while you slurp up glass noodles and glance at him.

"Wuh?" You say through chews. He chuckles, shaking his head.

"Nothing babe, just eat your noodles." He moves in getting comfortable. Rubbing your lower back and belly at the same time while talking to the baby until he eventually falls back asleep with his head on your thigh.

SUN DRESSES WITH A BABY BUMP WOULD MAKE THIS MAN GO FERAL! There's this thing about pregnant women that men find attractive because their instinct is to detect fertility and protect. Which is insane as is...

But when it's your own partner? Oh boy.

He thought you were beautiful in sundresses before but now it's just heightened!

It's getting harder to bend and pull things up with an entire human being inside of you so you resort to the old reliable method. Dresses. Everyday.

You wobble out of the bedroom with your flip flops. Dropping them on the floor you slide them on. Ready for a day at the beach together before the baby comes. The dress is a shade of blue, slightly low cut but really showing off the girls with how much you've blown up during pregnancy.

Leon's outside fighting with the chairs trying to get them in the back of the car and fit the cooler at the same time. Already breaking a sweat and they haven't even left the driveway yet. You walk out, watching him fight for his life against these chairs and finally he gets the trunk to shut and he sees you. The first thought that crosses his mind was:

oh shit... She looks that good? Do we have to leave the house?

Followed by: That's mine, she's mine. Carrying my baby inside her... And looks that sexy doing it. Maybe we should have another kid right away after the first one...

His brains going in overdrive before you tell him you're getting in the car. He quickly comes around, helping you buckle yourself in and shuts your door for you.

The entire day it's hard for him to not be constantly touching you. He usually just guides you by a hand on your back but he's got you pulled close, a hand on your thigh, giving you kisses more frequently. Even going for an ass grab or two without caring if anyone is looking.

And you bet your ass the second you two get home you're getting a shower together. Just to make sure you get all the sand off of course (👀)

Who’s your favorite Champion (and why is it Cynthia? 😉)

I SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING THERE CYNTHIA Ok serious talk: I've never played Pokemon Diamond/Pearl or the remakes but I have MAD respect for Cynthia. Her design, her demeanor, her team, her battle style? She's intelligent, she's got style, she's got CLASS, she's what I'd imagine a world-class Champion to be. I only experienced her ingame at Alolas Battle Tree, but she gave me a pretty dang good challenge.

If I'd only go from the Champions I beat in their main game however, I'd say Kukui gave me the hardest and most memorable battle. I still remember it more vividly than the battle against Steven, Diantha, Geeta or Leon. But I know Kukui doesn't really get counted to the Champions, Alola is in a weird position due to the League being freshly established within the story of the game.

I'd say Cynthia, Leon and Kukui are all my favorite Champions. Even if Leon wasn't that hard to beat in SWSH, I still really like his character, especially in the anime.

fugo and abbacchio?

I fricken love one of the fandom decisions to make Fugo bully Abbacchio when he first joined LMAO. They are both methodical "seniors" of the group and second-in-command to Bucciarati it seems, it would make sense that in the early days perhaps there was some sense of competition. It's also just funny that Abbacchio, a downtrodden and jaded former-law enforcer, joins the mafia to find that his colleague is.... a very angry teen. (Even funnier that Abbacchio just hit 20-ish)

Would've loved to see them on their first task together, maybe Bucciarati had to hang back or make a distraction, and these two had to buddy up for A Very Important Mission.

I mean they could be mature about it and cooperate from the get-go. But let's be real, they're gonna cause a sh*tshow and THEN have to buddy up to get out of it.

And Bucciarati find them afterwards going like, well how'd it go? :))

and they somehow telepathically mind-sync to NEVER tell him how badly it went lmao, the facade of maturity must survive

(too bad for them tho, Bruno is Bruno and knows they're all wacky)

More serious and Fugo-centric thoughts below

I don't think we get to see them interact very often at all unfortunately, even in the Mirror arc. (In the anime at least, I've yet to catch up in the manga)

Something i notice right away tho is how Abbacchio distances himself from Fugo? Like Giorno made the observation that he was more concerned about Purple Haze than Fugo's whereabouts (or wellbeing) it seems, and then there's the whole "it pains me but we don't have any choice but to ditch him."

I'm sure Abbacchio cared for Fugo's safety and it's easy to get spooked by his essentially insta-kill stand, but it does make me think about Fugo's relationships with other people. The whole "dropping him when he's a liability or lost cause or danger" was the thing Fugo experienced when he was abandoned by his family. People being wary of him, distancing themselves from him. Purple Haze being a manifestation of "it is dangerous to be close to me, you will leave."

Before he joined Bucciarati, he talked about how he didn't need pity and that he was content on being on his own... until Bucciarati extended his hand and offered to embrace him all.

Fugo found family and comfort in Bucciarati's team, and they deeply cared about him for reals. Granted, we didn't get to see everyone else's reaction to Purple Haze (sad), but the way Bucciarati embraced Fugo as his first teammate, and how Narancia spoke about meeting Fugo again after their adventure.... these were the people who actively became closer to him, taking him in with open arms for who he was, including his worst. His and Abbacchio's interaction in Pompeii feels like a remnant of the abandonment Fugo suffered, and a hint of what's to come.

The one time that stands out to me of Abbacchio and Fugo being in sync is At The Docks. They both speak of the consequences of betraying the boss, how foolish it was. Fugo couldn't stop Bucciarati but he stood his ground and thought the rest of his family would stay with him. For once, going with Fugo would mean not danger, but safety.

But Abbacchio left... again. Without another word to Fugo. Even when they were both in agreement.

So did Mista. So did Narancia.

Fugo was abandoned by his blood relatives when he became a liability to their reputation. Was basically abandoned by Abbacchio because he was a lost cause in the Mirror World.

And now abandoned again and for what? Some hypothetical higher ground? A girl they just met? How could they just leave him when he was on the side of SAFETY, when he only wished for safety?

Abbacchio distances himself from Purple Haze in Pompeii because it was dangerous to go near. And now he and the others left Fugo to strive towards danger.

He was so sure most of his family would stay with him. But no matter what, whether it was safe or dangerous to be with him, they leave.

i actually think about that post bc i feel like i didn’t word it properly :o

i think leon in general has a very hit or miss personality especially with a fanbase that is so tainted with nostalgia rose coloured glasses. leon is canonically the strongest champ (compared to red i have no clue where he would stand) and despite this being clear as DAY and implied within swsh i think what made leon seem annoying and got him his rep is: 1. the anime amped his most “annoying characteristics” of being the “unbeatable champ” and how he constantly tells you and 2. showed this roided up version to more fans on a larger scale. i also think him sweeping the floor with alain and diantha then saying “oh i got lucky” did not help LOL. the anime literally ran on plot armour so im not sure why people are shocked he sweeped some oc ass character and a champion people constantly say is “the worst champion from the worst game” (diantha defence squad here!).

i think all of that makes anime fans think leons “full of himself” when i feel like most swsh enjoyers know, that isn’t true. i think he’s got a somewhat childish mindset (possible due to being in the champion light for most his life) and is constantly making sure others don’t have to worry about shit, and burdens himself with those worries. leon is the epitome of the “big brother” stereotype which is why i love him so much.

i think another issue is that leon requires a lot of filling in the gaps (swsh in general, so not an exclusive criticism to leon). giving a trainer the title “the strongest” is risky because if you don’t flesh out that backstory and just expect fans to agree, it’s gonna feel cheapened. i feel why most fans accept red to be the strongest is because we PLAYED as him as kids. we saw red go from being weak, defeating team rocket and becoming the first ever champion. so to see him all alone on mount silver with his perfectly rounded, insanely high levelled team - it feels good because we SAW him on the journey that got him there. we didn’t see that with leon so i guess the lack of relatability also adds to the dislike. i also think while leon and red are meant to kinda mirror eachother in terms of what they both represent, again, red has the relatability that saves him for most. the anime was the PERFECT opportunity to show and flesh out leons backstory but all they did was like a 5 second flashback via sonias perspective.

i think leon’s biggest character development comes from being obliterated (and possibly traumatised but let’s leave the headcanons out of this LOL) by eternatus, being manipulated by rose and then being beaten by gloria/victor. i always tell people if they wanna watch a more enjoyable leon to watch twilight wings. i feel as if all the miniseries (evos, generations, twilight wings, origins) did a WAY better job showing these characters in the actual game environment.

Having a baby with Leon (Accidental Pregnancy)

Vendetta Leon who meets you in a shitty bar one night. He brings you home on a whim to his pigsty of an apartment. Fully expecting you to go running immediately but you stay. Clearing a place off on the couch and talking over beers.

Vendetta Leon who's shocked when you ask for his number after waking up together. Curled up on the couch, cuddling someone for the first time in forever. Enjoying someone's company again instead of shutting people out.

Vendetta Leon that actually sees a friend in you. Knows you're good for him but feels like he doesn't deserve good with everything he's had to do to survive and protect people.

Vendetta Leon who tries keeping you at arms length. Labeling this as a friends with benefits situation. Nothing more. The first time you sleep together tends to replay in his mind a lot. Seeing how beautiful you were. How hungry you were for each other. How both of you seemed to aim to please. It was nothing short of perfection to him.

Vendetta Leon who gave you a key to his place without even thinking about it. It just be easier for the both of us. Or so he claims. Knowing he could easily just keep you away from his apartment, it's not like you didn't let him come over whenever he wanted. But no matter where you were home was with you. Even if he couldn't admit it.

Vendetta Leon who starts getting more and more stressed from work. Sees you almost every night and one thing always leads to another. Tipsy, buzzed or sober. It's been like this for months and he loves seeing you so frequently. But his brain keeps telling him he'll just mess it up if he tries moving past what you have right now.

Vendetta Leon who gets called away for work again. Needs to go off and save the world for the millionth time. Tells you he'll miss you while he's away. He didn't mean to, it just slipped out. But he doesn't take it back, he just waves it off. More concerned about how you said you weren't feeling well when he got to your place. Deciding to stay the night and just cuddle before he leaves in the morning.

Vendetta Leon who comes back from New York City. A bit paranoid because you haven't returned any of his texts or calls. Hoping something bad didn't happen while he was away. Walking into his apartment he drops his bag in shock...

Vendetta Leon who stares at a spotless apartment. Everything back in place where it should be. He finds a letter and your key on the coffee table. The letter saying how you can't deal with this anymore and you couldn't say goodbye without at least giving him a gift of a clean home and hopefully a clean conscience.

Vendetta Leon who gets upset, trying to call you repeatedly. This doesn't feel like you. Did you find someone? Did you not actually care about him the entire time?! You shared so much with each other, he trusted you enough to let you in.

Vendetta Leon who slams his phone into the couch as his calls go straight to voicemail. Something's wrong... He can tell. He knows you well enough that you wouldn't be ghosting him like this without a reason. So he decides, against his better judgement, to just go over to your apartment.

Vendetta Leon who decides to knock until you open the door, he's a stubborn man and wants answers. The door opens, an older man glaring at him.

"Yes?" He didn't expect you to have company over. Who the hell is this? Have you actually found someone in the span of a few days? Was he really that replaceable?? His attention snaps back, the older man staring him down. He stutters out your name before clearing his throat.

"Is she here?"

"My daughter's at the doctor's with her mother right now." Oh, this is your father. Thank God. "She should be back soon."

"Is everything okay?" The older man sighs, rubbing his eyes, he looks tired and agitated.

"It better be, she's carrying my grandchild."

Leon who feels his heart fall through his body. You're pregnant... And he's definitely the father. There's quite literally no way he isn't, you've been spending almost every waking minute together in the past 6 months unless you're the next virgin Mary.

Leon, the father of your child who listens your father ramble about some bum knocking up his precious babygirl... He bites his tongue, asking your father to PLEASE make sure you call him.

Leon who sits in his clean apartment with not so clean conscience. Feeling the dirtiest he's ever been before. How could he be so stupid and careless? The few times you didn't use protection he'd thought nothing would happen. He knows you take birth control. It's got a high success rate, he wouldn't have to worry. It's not like he didn't want kids, he even liked loved the woman who'd be blessing him with a child.

This could be his last chance of normalcy.

Leon who nearly throws himself towards his phone when it vibrates. A text from you. Announcing that you'll be coming over.

Leon who feels his bones vibrate seeing you for the first time in days, the glow on your skin more obvious that he knows you're carrying his child. You look beautiful, though you always look beautiful.

"Look..." You storm past him into his own apartment. He shuts the door behind you and follows you to the couch. "I knew you'd freak out if I told you... We're both kind of fucked up I didn't want-"

"Are you keeping the baby?" He's blunt and to the point when asking his questions. He always is.

"I don't know... The doctor said I'm probably only a month along." You look so unsure of yourself. "What... What do you think I should do?"

"Keep them." Your eyes go wide as he smiles softly.

"What?"

"Keep the baby... I want it. I want you. If you'll have me." You stare in shock, blinking as he steps forward and brings you into his chest. "Did you think I would freak out and bail?"

"Leon... We're both heavy drinkers and we've been dancing around each other since we met. I figured cutting you loose was the best option."

"Well, then we'll just have to clean up our acts together I guess... For ourselves and the baby."

Leon who reassures you you can both grow. Put in the effort of fixing yourselves. Together.

I don't know enough about astrology to theorize an entire birth chart for Leon, however I do have a headcanon that Leon's sun sign is Pisces based on two things:

The fact that Leon's already 21 years old on September 29, 1998, meaning that he had to have been born before then, given that he was born in 1977.

That Pisces is the sign known for being immensely empathetic due to them being the last sign of the zodiac (so they can relate to/have adopted traits from all other zodiac signs). If you look up Piscean traits, every single website you find will mention Pisces' compassion/empathy — it's the primary trait associated with this sign. They're also known to be adaptable, personable, self-sacrificing, idealistic, and to engage in self-destructive escapist behaviors (i.e. drinking heavily) due to their inability to accept the injustices of the world around them.

Some quotes about Pisces that perfectly describe aspects of Leon's personality:
