Sometimes, I think about how if I rewrote Leopardstar's super edition, I'd change the title to something that y'know. Actually fits her like Leopardstar's Ambition and make one of the plot points there was /never/ a prophecy about how special she was, it was just something Mudfur told her as a kid to make her feel better but the thought process for a rewrite never goes too far because I'd have to pick the book up again for multiple rereadings and note taking and no.

My desire for a better written character look/backstory is not strong enough to trudge through one of the worst super editions I have ever read more than once

I'm so glad we had the same idea because I was thinking about how much better it would be if that story about Brightsky was just made up! I don't think this is an SE that needed to exist, TPB already did Leopardstar just fine, so if you had to make something for her I think a novella would have been better. Leaves them less room for this shoved in romance and baby plot too.

The book is such a snooze fest. When it's not retreading old grounds, the concepts it comes up with are boring and uninspired, and they've chosen the most lacklustre characterization of Leopardstar to at least add some flavor. When it is retreading old grounds, it's actively making the original story worse! How is the supplementary material failing this badly!!

If my OW Shapeshifter AU OC had a shift and what each would look like.

I also feel Hana would be an Alpha due to her headstrong and stubborn nature with a bit of the Omega's trait of seeking approval and being a bit of an over-thinking, making her own weapons to replace her lack of fangs and claws.

The deer shift comes from a one-shot side story I made to give myself motivation when I lost it to work on any art or stories. I also thought that one-shot up before finding out only omnics were herbivore shapeshifters.
