another bug
so this one was called 'Nebulous' before the buggening and he is essentially a red-herring villain, having a reputation as a thousand-year-old evil cursing the Shadow Kingdom, when really he was a scared and abused teenager who was pushed over the edge. Virus teams up with him to brutally murder her abusive father. Yippee!
as you can see he's a bit gunked up, like Virus. although I suppose there are more pressing issues for him to be concerned about - like the fact his internal organs are exposed. don't worry, he's alright. I'll have a post at some point about internal organs but what you can see inside him are the tracheoles and parts of the digestive system (also a calcareous 'bone' in the arm but I will explain that later)
he's a silly guy for sure
his design basis is the Death's Head Hawk Moth, and yes, he does have a skull marking on the back of his neck.

Lepidopterans from the Edinburgh Journal of Natural History and of the Physical Sciences, Vol. 1 (1835-1839).
"Lepidopterans" includes both moths and butterflies. The moth in the bottom middle is the lovely Madagascan sunset moth (Chrysiridia rhipheus), which was once classified as a butterfly. The butterfly in the middle is the male common green birdwing (Ornithoptera priamus). This species exhibits sexual dimorphism in which the female is larger than the male and has brown and white coloring.
