hello yall. my dog esmeralda recently drank from a brook and ive been worried about lepto since. yesterday i called the vet and scheduled their lepto and lyme vaccines for the end of the month.
today i learned about all the adverse side effects from this poorly dosed vaccine, and how common death is-especially among small dogs. now im considering cancelling their lepto vaccinations.
so, im asking ALL pet parents.
please elaborate further! things you can include are
1. animals age when vaccinated and breed
2. whether they contracted lepto before or after the vaccination
3. any side effects they developed after the vaccination, how soon after did they show?
4. how is your animal doing now?
5. do you regret choosing to either give them the vaccine or to withhold it?
thank you.
please reblog so i can have a larger sample size!!
Leptoconnect Perfect Review | Does it Really Work? #debashreedutta #shorts
Leptoconnect is a new weight loss formula needed for natural and safe weight loss. The action of this formula revolves around the body’s leptin receptors, which, according to research, are associated with excessive fat accumulation.
today was Dandy’s annual checkup and he was an absolute angel. his fan club of vet techs were over the moon when they saw him, and he was fantastic for the new tech and the vet. he was a wuss for his shots but hey that’s fair, we just babied him and he tolerated it well. very proud of Baby Man
‘That mask won’t do much to protect you from covid’ you are aware that there are other respiratory diseases, right, and that I now have lung damage post-covid, ergo I’d rather not catch anything else, right
rizzo got. 3 shots at the vet today and then got into the fridge and ate almost a whole ziplock gallon bag of bone-in fried chicken which means im playing a fun game called “is he acting like this bc of the sedatives, the shots, or does he have a perforated bowel?” bonus: he’s not letting me touch him bc hes tired and sore and probably scared bc we had to manhandle him a little at the bet bc he was NOT happy about the shots or the exam
I had a mystery case - a dog sick since mid-December 30 minutes before closing. I never had a case of leptospirosis before, but now I'm 90% certain it was that. The problem is I was so tired and loopy I let the dog bleed all over my hand while taking blood samples. I have no injuries and I washed my hands 3 times after that....but then I handled blood vials and I'm not so sure what I did after that. I usually don't do prophylaxis with antibiotics ...but I think I'll make an exception this time. I'd rather have covid three times a year than lepto once in a lifetime.
this was for his last set of vaccines two weeks ago. tomorrow he’s cleared and going to run around the park on his own two feet for the first time and i can’t wait.
