as a woman who grew up with an emotionally abusive mother constantly telling me I needed to wear more makeup/more revealing clothing/date (boys) more/go out to "normal" parties more, I despise "she should be at the club"
god forbid some people- especially young women, who already have to deal with a thousand different behavioral standards from a thousand different directions -not have the same dreams and desires for their lives as you do for yours
fucking hell. the correct response to "women should stay at home and have kids and be submissive wives" prescriptivism was not MORE PRESCRIPTIVISM
(I also just saw a poll asking if people partied as teenagers, and OP responded that the answers were "killing them" because No was winning. like? why is everyone so personally invested in other people having a very specific kind of fun?)

I love it when women hate men. I love it when women are allowed to vent to each other about how horrible and creepy men are. I love it when women form friendships with and prioritize each other over relationships with men(whether they're attracted to them or not). I love it when women put men dni in their bios and on their nude photos and on posts on their blogs. I love it when women refuse to mollycoddle and accommodate entitled male feelings with "but this doesn't mean I hate all men, I know a few men who are great, I love my father/sons/brothers/uncles/male cousins/guy friends" I love it when women complain about men WITHOUT "not all men" being a disclaimer. I love it when women avoid socializing with/refuse to be around/befriend/get close to men because they know men can't be trusted. I love it when women make "kill all men" jokes. I love it when women offer absolutely no concern or care for men's feelings and if their misandry offends men whatsoever because why should we, men are the oppressor class who have raped and killed and abused us and kept us as subjugated as second-class citizens for millennia, they regularly mistreat us and the women in their own marginalized communities still every single day and make this world so much harder and more awful for us to be in, and if we choose to hate them and not spare them any sympathy then so be it, and I don't just mean "men as a class" either, you can be a woman who doesn't want to have anything to do with any man on an individual basis and completely cuts off men from her personal life too and ykw I will love and fucking support you in that because men deserve absolutely NOTHING from us. If they're so tough and strong then they can handle it just like they can handle being lonely. If you are a woman who hates men, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A LESBIAN AND/OR A TRANS WOMAN, then just know that I love you. I love you, I support you, and you are safe here.

It is funny to me how much arguing there was between people trying to speculate on Ryoko Kui’s sexuality and people saying it’s literally none of our business. Then she uploads art where she draws a bunch of elves from video games and refers to multiple of the of the elven women as “her wife” or “fell in love at first sight”. And yet in a twitter thread about it I still saw people saying that referring to women as your wife could be straight woman behavior actually (???)

any non romantic albatrio fans out there please raise your hands i need to see more of my own kind
their dynamic means so much more to me when they aren’t dating or pining or anything, they’re just buddies :] they’re friends and that friendship is the strongest damn bond you’ve ever seen
I’m a firm believer in “platonic friendship is just as (if not more) important than romance” so maybe that’s skewing my beliefs but like albatrio where they’re the best friends you’ve ever seen to the point where they ARE in love, just platonically. like brothers and sisters are. they hug, they fight, they’re odd and confusing to a stranger but to everyone that knows them it’s “kinda just how they are”
bonus they’re all collectively Ollie’s older sibling figures but they have different styles of raising children so gillion is trying to train him in the art of the blade and being a hero and whatnot while jay practices gentle parenting and chip trains him in the art of being a little rascal
the riptide crew is one big family and i would not trade that for a canon romance any day of my life

I think it's super sexy for Emily to go high chaos and become corrupt BUT like it's so overdone so there's no flavour so please consider Emily to be so afraid of losing herself to revenge and bloodthirst that she'd rather let herself get hurt than hurt another (no matter how much it'd be justified.)
Emily coming back from each mission beaten and bloody, hands scraped and coat tattered. Meagan trying to convince Emily it's her or them. That she can't afford to spare every enemy she crosses paths with.
Emily trying to keep her spirits high but failing with each mistake and slip up and having to bear a new scar as a hard-learnt lesson.
The loss of innocence, hope, and preservence slipping until Emily can barely recognize herself anymore. Not because of what she's done, but what it cost at the expense of herself. Because that's what an empress is meant to do, isn't it? She have to lead by example. She cannot be a hypocrite. She must meet impossible standards which goalposts are constantly shifting.

Does anyone have tips on bratting/provoking my dom?
I want her to be rougher and let her frustrations out on me. But I want to make it easier for her as she's a nice person and can't just be a dick out of nowhere. However, I'm a people pleaser, so I actually don't brat and have no idea how to provoke 😅
