tbh i kinda hate when shonen powers are ridiculously convoluted. like yea it’s fun and cool and props for the writer for being able to work with crazy shit like that but it’s also just ridiculous. like my eyes just gloss over when they start describing how the powers work and then people have to stop during fights or talk all the time so they can explain what’s going on. meh

#shut up boo #it's not an anime but rwby has the best formula i think. everyone has a weapon and one (1) special thing they can do #and you can add dust to spice things up a bit but it's not crazy. other than that it's just straight up cool fighting #tho it's a little more complex now w all the maiden and salem stuff. but still not as bad as other series like idk. jjk. #god i have no idea what is happening in that series. the only good jjk char is maki bc all she does is swing big weapons. good for her #less is more man. anyway. i love shonens i really am still a fifth grader at heart
