what is my family going to do about the dishes when i move out. like this is insane.

#purrs #i understand that because im not contributing as much financially to the house + am not home most of the day doing dishes every night is a #fair reasonable way to expect me to contribute. but also i come home every day fucking exhausted and basically have to clean an entire day’s #worth of dishes (not allowed to leave them out to dry either i have to both wash and dry) for 5 people + put away all the food and #appliances + wipe down all the counters. like i clean up 5 peoples mess completely by myself. and it’s a lot and i constantly go to bed at #lkke 1:30-2am or later because im stuck doing dishes. my mom and siblings cook but they almost always do it together so it’s 3 ppl and then #i do this by myself and sometimes my dad helps me but he’s working all the time and all of his money is going to all of us so it’s fair that #he doesn’t have to help but. god. i have to be at work at 9 every day it’s not enough sleep and i am constantly late and so so so tired. #its 1:19am and i still have 2 sink fuls of dishes to do at least + have to put away all the food etc and it’s 1:19am. my body is screaming #at me to sleep but i am not allowed to leave it less than spotless. awesome #delete later #anyways yeah what i was saying initially is like.. what are they going to do when i move out and they can’t just leave the mess to me at the #end of the night. someone’s gonna have to stay up just as late to clean it all. lol #it takes me at least an hour every night to do all of this

The bad thing about having a sleepover with my lil cousins is that they woke up at like 7:20 or something but the good thing is that we watched megamind last night

and yknow, on that note about hillside, i'm genuinely looking back on it like so fondly. at hillside THEE maximum number of classes you taught a day was 6. often only 4 or 5. the apartment they had me in wasnt perfect but it was a good location (for busan). the only reason i left is because there wasnt support in regards to the kids, they had the korean teacher in the hallway but where i needed her was in the room to help with classroom management and i dont mean yelling at kids i mean helping them if they have a problem. anyway, looking at jobs now it's supposedly a good schedule to "only" teach 8-10 classes a day which LMAO no way. i really cant wait to be able to teach private lessons because like, even if I bite the bullet and teach group classes for elem/middle, i can make an entire month's salary at these places in a single week of private lessons. and that's not even charging crazy expensive prices <3

#hagwons <3 are evil <3 #t #my friend who hated hillside and left bc she was in constant spats with the owners was telling me about her new school (trying to recruit #me LOL) but like. she teaches 8-9 classes every day. she teaches kindy all morning AND THEN elem in the afternoon. she works from 9:30 to #6:40. she had to arrange her own housing. in what way is this ideal #i mean she said the kids are good and that the classes are easy and the owner is half-decent #and also the kindy classes are only 35 mins so even tho u teach 6 its only 3 1/2 hours #but the main thing i learned at francis parker was that class quantity matters. bc its still a different chunk of time you gotta prep for. #anyway i am very flexible i have months to search for the perfect job so i am not going to get antsy or jump at anything less than ideal

#i remember when i was 4 or 5 a boy in my class came to my house #we watched shrek 2 and then he ate 3 bowls of pasta (he was 1 of 7 then but now he's 1 of 9 i think? idk) #i can't really remember any other times i had friends round other than birthday parties or sleepovers but everyone got fed #and i got fed whenever i would go over to someone's house (which happened mostly in primary school and a few times in secondary school) #like even in year 7 or 8 i would walk home with my best friend after school and i still got fed even if i was less than 2 hours notice #my dad batch cooks anyway esp if it's curry & rice or biryani etc
