Here’s today’s lesson I want to share with every artist especially indie artists, writers, and filmmakers.

The reason I wrote this is because how toxic Hollywood has become lately. After reading the news today about what Hollywood doing (especially that dumb but selfish destroyer named David Zaslav is doing recently), I want to share my honesty about true creativity. Especially how pure human artistry is always the key. We need indie artistic representation within the media! I smell the indie popularity is rising!

nah, cause screw grammerly and everything adjacent, they are so money hungry... i was tryna run my literature review for plagiarism and tell me why grammerly told me i had a significant amount of plagiarism and when i submitted it to turnitin through my uni it told me that that section of the paper was completely original...? i'm not buying your dumb premium service...

Facing the Fear of People

Today I learned about facing the fear of being around/facing people. Not the best wording so I apologize in advance as I'm currently tired but I still feel the need to post this to remind myself in the future too.

During the pandemic, I didn't get to socialize a lot with other people and I must admit that I lost the ability to interact comfortably with other people (except my families and a few of my good friends). I became socially anxious and I'm always tense and my heart would literally pound in anxiety whenever I meet new people (e.g coming up to the cashier, asking for help from a stranger, etc.). I'm not afraid but I'm severely anxious whenever I see people around/coming towards me and would get mini panic attacks.

I got an advice from my father; whenever you're anxious around people, think of them as someone like you (just a human). Sure they may appear more confident or perhaps more intimidating but remember that they are just humans like you, they eat, they breathe, and they also poop. They don't eat metals. And tbh that sounds funny but that helps calm my anxiety down at least a little.

I am s0 glad that I've gotten to a point in life AT 18 (goin on 19 soon) where I'm comfortable with my own company and being by myself :] school put me through alot of pressure and emotional pain and I couldn't stand to be by myself around a bunch of people now learning about myself and how introverted I am lol , I have a choice. I don't have to be around people I don't like anymore 😃 college is very diff and ik I may have coworkers soon who I may not like but idgaf, learn to ignore ignorance and not care wtf ppl think/say . Become your own friend instead of your own enemy and it's only awkward unless you say it is ^.^ its definitely easier said than done but I believe u can do it!

It’s fine to have friends, in fact it’s really great to have friends but you need to recognize that not every friend should be a part of every chapter of your life. You’re confused on what you value vs what you want and you let the company you keep blur your vision and influence your standards/decisions. You fail to realize that just cause people act happy in your face and encourage you to go out and drink, laugh and converse telling you how much they love you and what not doesn’t prove a good friendship it only proves that maybe you surround yourself with people who are empty and don’t actually value anything. You allow these people to selfishly have access to you when none of them have anything REAL and long term to offer you. Stop bonding with people out of trauma and comfort and remove yourself from spaces with people who do not allow your full potential to blossom. You need to ask yourself what it is you really want from your life. Do you want to build a strong character, do you want to achieve your goals, do you want to be validated inwardly and shine outwardly or not. Because I hate to say it but that type of person is only built in a select environment and if you keep exposing yourself to bad environments your character will inevitably be corrupted. There’s no need to have ill will toward anyone you leave behind or cut out of your life if they’re not adding value. And if anyone wants to hate on you or be mad at you for making those tough decisions then that’s proof they were never involved with you out of genuine care for you but maintained the relationship for selfish reasons.

Reminder to all minors that adults are allowed to have their own fandom spaces and aren’t responsible for your content consumption!!

I swear you bragging about the fact you have/had unlimited Internet and have seen worse ONLY makes people more uncomfortable and acknowledging the fact that- yes, you can be in a multi age fandom space and respect people’s boundaries will make people far more comfortable and happier.

You can be friends with adults. Them not sharing nsfw content with you is far healthier and doesn’t make you any less of a friend to you lmao. When something says mdni that doesn’t mean “time to brag about the fact I’m a minor” it means “don’t rub it into everyone’s face if you are consuming this it is uncomfortable”

TLDR respect people’s boundaries and don’t be shitty. Makes peoples lives easier. Adults can get in trouble for sharing things with minors and if they share nsfw stuff with you it’s probably not healthy and kinda weirdddd
